• Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Well, my house is nearly finished. I got the upstairs looking very good, and now I can complete the downstairs. Yes, I did do the downstairs first; however, all good things in the worldly arena must come to an end. Everything that was just hidden upstairs is now in my dining room to be sorted, reboxed in totes, and hidden away in the freshly organized shed. Should only take a couple of hours this afternoon. Then get my front room done and maybe start my office…hahahahahaha…..that is a true danger zone.

Last night me and the hubby had a date night. Tried a new place to eat. The décor was good, the service very friendly and efficient; however, the food was lacking in our opinion. I will not say where we went because it was our opinion. Plenty of people were there and coming in, so it is just a matter of perspective.

As we were talking this morning about different things going on in our lives; the kids coming, getting the house ready, health, appointments, daily adventures… and such … I heard got speak directly to me several times in that conversation. “I feel that a lot from you.” “Yes, I understand exactly how you feel.” “I have said that to you many times.” And my personal favorite, “Really?” All these were things I hear in my spirit, which made me step back and realize that much of what I say…He does too … to me.

A friend of mine used to tell me how much they got annoyed when I would use their words against them in frustrated thoughts they had about something or someone. They wondered why I would not just take their side … I would giggle and we would end up in a bashing banter fight and all would be well. The Spirit does the exact same thing … minus the banter bashing … He takes our words, our frustrations, our doubts and shows us that He is there with us as well. I am pretty positive that I am a primary cause of migraines in the Holy Spirit. (LOL) Especially now that I am in menopause and my mood switches like a kid with a light toggle.

The journeys that He gives us are specific to our personalities and strengths. I have on many occasions questioned both those motives, but in the end of each particular journey I have seen the end result and am thankful for it. In the long run, not only was I able to help someone, but I was strengthened as well.

Just as I know my house will be 98 percent done today, after church, that the obstacles that I am facing will be conquered, that the frustrations that I feel will strengthen my resolve, and that any doubts that I may have on any given subject matter will dissipate … it is a matter of trusting the process, and the process is not mine, but His.

Today I will go to His house. I will sit with Him. I will hear His Word. I will be fed his nourishment. I will drink of His Spirit. And … I will leave His house with an indwelling of His peace. Will you join me?

    Be blessed.

***Through him and for his name’s sake, we will receive grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. --Romans 1:5

  • Jesus Died for Saul Too - No Biggie, Right?

Before we dive into this, take a moment to wrap your head around what's being said. Don't get all worked up just yet. This isn't a church-bashing session. The church is like that quirky relative at the family reunion - it's the body of Christ, the community of the redeemed, the family that grace built. It's a beautiful mess, and God loves it just the same.

This is about broadening our minds about who's welcome in this crazy family. Somewhere along the way, the gospel got a little too cool for school. Not in its theology, mind you - that's still on point. But in its posture. We went from "whosoever will, let them come" to "whosoever will, let them come... but only if they look like us, speak like us, and have the same history as us."

And so, the church became this place that's all warm and fuzzy for the saved, but kinda chilly for everyone else. That's not how Jesus rolled. He was all about hanging out with the synagogue crew on the Sabbath, flipping tables in the temple, and teaching crowds. He was all about community, building the thing that would become the church.

But he was also all about hitting the road to Damascus. Saul wasn't exactly on the lookout for a divine encounter. He was more like the church's arch-nemesis, with a bad attitude and a worse haircut. He was the last person you'd expect to get a visit from Jesus.

And yet, Jesus showed up anyway. Not instead of the church, but alongside it. Because God's love isn't about choosing between the cool kids and the outcasts. It's about loving both with the same intensity, the same urgency, and the same "I've got all day" vibe.

This is the church at its best - not some exclusive club, but a big, messy family that welcomes everyone, no matter how messed up they are. The church that gets this doesn't shrink its welcome; it expands it. It becomes the place where the Sauls of the world discover that God was looking for them all along, and that the community of faith is not some reward for being perfect, but a family that welcomes you just as you are.

    Jesus died for the church.
    He died for Saul too.
And the church at its most faithful is the place where those two sentences are held together without contradiction, preached without embarrassment, and lived without exception.

  • Today is #Juneteenth - But I'm #confused

On every news channel, it's like a #bashing of #Republicans.

You do know it was the Republicans that made this possible Right?

  • Hi, I joined a while back but have never really participated. I work full time and have a ministry online, so i keep pretty busy. But, I do believe that the Lord brings about divine connections.

Right now, honestly, the thing most on my mind today is whether or not the Lord wants me to address some of these people who are making accusations against members of the Body Christ.. or to just leave them be. Right now, I do try to say a little something in the middle of a conversation where people of all types are bashing christian ministers… but I don’t make my posts antagonistic. I just sort of encourage them to make sure they are correct because we all face Jesus with our actions. These things are bringing a lot of discord to the Body of Christ.

  • Hi. I've been on multiple "christian" social media platforms and it really seems like there is a lot of intense arguing and personal bashing in the name of apologetics. Although I see a place for debate and reasoning it does no one, including God, any good to fight and attack someone personally. If I write something you disagree with it will behoove you to pm me so we can come to an understanding without making our Lord look bad. I will definitely try to do the same for you. Im too old and life is too short to be tearing one another down. This is how we show we are His children....by loving one another. God bless.

  • This will not be a popular post. Last night at church, we received an awesome message on love from Steve Cooper (Mark Steven Cooper).
Here’s what I feel the Father is saying to me:
I may not like someone or agree with how they act or what they say. The bottom line is, we are to love these people. Love them enough to Speak truth into their lives, and if we can’t get close enough to them, we are to love them enough to pray that their understanding is enlightened, that their eyes and mind are open to the truth of the gospel.
With that said, I very much dislike what the democrats stand for, and I dislike what Harris stands for running for president, but if I can’t love them, as the Father loves them and pray for them, I am in error.
Yeshua died for them also, and the Father desires for them to come unto Himself, just as much as He desired you and I to come unto Him.
I agree that we as sons and daughters of God are to stand up for what is right in the sight of God, but bashing these people with our words is not demonstrating Who the Father is… He is love.
Forgiveness is available to them, as it was for us. When Yeshua cried out from the cross; Father forgive them, for they know not what they do, He still cry’s out today.
The truth is, they are making a choice to reject the One Who can save them, they are wandering around in the darkness of this world, just as you and I did in our past.
I hate what they stand for, as God does, but He loves them and is calling them to repentance. You and I play a part in that. The Father hears our prayers for them, and Holy Spirit will bring conviction on their hearts. Whether or not, they turn from their wickedness, is between them and God. Our job is to love them as the Father loved us.
Let us truly choose to pray for their souls and their salvation. Continue to stand against the evil. Remember, their sin, their choices and their lifestyle is not who they are, it’s what they do.
