• When the Holy Father places His hand upon someone's life, no power of darkness can separate that person from God's plan. Sometimes doors close, paths seem blocked, and new difficulties arise. But that does not mean God has abandoned us. Just as in the story of Joseph, every setback, delay, and trial was part of God's greater purpose. What others meant for harm, God used for good. Trust His timing, trust His process, and remember that God's plans are always greater than our understanding.

  • The power of prayer-8

    Syllabus-38

"And Eli looked upon her face, while Hannah prayed before the Lord." 1 Samuel 1:12

Hannah had no children because she was barren. Who else but Hannah would understand how miserable it is to be barren in a married life? But she believed in God and in His great power. So she decided to pray to God without ceasing. Eli was the priest at the temple of God in Shiloh. One day Hannah went to the temple and prayed and wept before the Lord for a long time. She was praying in her heart, but her lips were moving. She prayed so long and so passionately that Eli thought she might be drunk with wine.

The difference between traditional and formal prayer and emotional prayer can be clearly understood from that incident. Although Eli was a priest of God, he never entered the life of prayer. The prayer and worship he did in the temple was habitual. And those who came to the temple to pray would pray habitually. Eli the priest's idea of prayer was not above this. But Hannah's prayer was not a habitual prayer. She came to understand God with deep faith. The desire to have children had become so strong in her life that she did not pay attention to anything else. What people would think if she prayed long or prayed with tears, or what Eli the priest would think, these thoughts did not exist in her life. True spiritual prayer is not comparable to all of these. Hannah's situation was also like that. Therefore, a great work was accomplished in her prayer. The blocked uterus was freed. Hannah conceived. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

"He makes the barren woman a wife, a joyful mother of children." Psalm 113:9.

  • THE CALVARY MINISTRY - ONLINE

    THE CROSS OF CALVARY
    🏼

    FRIDAY 1ST AUGUST, 2026

KEY VERSE:``` "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross" (COLOSSIANS 2:14).

At Calvary, God did not just forgive sin; He cancelled the record. The handwriting of ordinances — the law’s demands, the devil’s accusations, every debt we owed — stood against us. It was contrary to us. We could never pay it. But Jesus took that document that condemned us and nailed it to His Cross. The nails that pierced His hands pierced our indictment. What was against us is now gone.

Three truths from the cancelled record: One, the debt was against us. “The handwriting of ordinances that was against us.” Sin left a paper trail. Every sin, every failure, every broken law. Heaven had a record and we were guilty. Two, the debt was contrary to us. “Which was contrary to us.” It opposed us, blocked us, condemned us. We could not climb over it. Three, the debt was nailed to His Cross. “And took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.” God took it out of the way — not overlooked, not hidden, but removed. He nailed it to the Cross. And when He did, He spoiled principalities and powers, making a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (verse 15). Your accusers were disarmed at Calvary.

Is the enemy bringing up your past this morning? Remind him of the Cross. The record he is reading from was nailed, cancelled, blotted out. There is no longer any handwriting against you — only the blood that speaks better things.

    Prayer
Father, thank You for nailing my sins, my debts, and my accusations to the Cross of Christ. Today I declare I am no longer condemned. The handwriting that was against me is blotted out by blood. Let every voice of accusation be silenced, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

May the Lord cause you to walk in the liberty of a cancelled record today. May every accusation be silenced, may every chain be broken, and may you live as one whose debt has been fully paid at Calvary, through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. 🏼

  • THE HIDDEN WAR AGAINST YOUR PRAYER LIFE!

Do you ever wonder why, despite fasting, praying, and pleading with God, some prayers seem unanswered? The truth is far deeper than human understanding. There is a spiritual reality few dare to reveal: your prayers are being watched, monitored, and sometimes blocked by spiritual forces that operate invisibly against you. Satan and his monitoring spirits are constantly assessing your life, studying your weaknesses, and positioning themselves to hinder your breakthroughs.

The Bible warns us that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Every unanswered prayer, every delayed miracle, every spiritual stagnation may not be random. These forces observe your patterns, your routines, and your strategies in prayer. They whisper doubts into your heart, introduce distractions, and orchestrate circumstances to prevent your spirit from connecting fully with heaven. Their purpose is to ensure that the blessing, breakthrough, or revelation you seek does not manifest.

Even the strongest believers can be subtly hindered. Monitoring spirits can attach themselves to specific areas of your life—your family, finances, relationships, or destiny—and seek to frustrate your spiritual progress. They aim to create spiritual fatigue, delay, and frustration. But God's Word promises that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Understanding this spiritual warfare helps believers remain steadfast in prayer and dependence on God.

You must fight with spiritual discernment. Identify the areas where heaviness, confusion, or repeated delay occurs. Seek God through prayer, fasting, His Word, and faithful communion with Him. Do not allow spiritual fatigue or distraction to weaken your devotion. Stand firm in faith, resist the enemy, and declare God's promises over your life, family, and future. The unseen realm has its battles, but the Spirit of the living God is greater than all (1 John 4:4).

Remember, child of God: no delay or hindrance is final. When you understand the tactics of the enemy and remain rooted in Christ, you can face every obstacle with confidence. Your prayers, offered according to God's will, are heard by Him, and He is faithful to accomplish His purposes in His perfect timing.

Teaching Summary: Many believers experience seasons of delayed answers to prayer. Scripture teaches that spiritual opposition is real, while also emphasizing God's sovereignty and faithfulness. Through prayer, faith, perseverance, obedience, and reliance on God, believers can stand firm, resist the enemy, and continue trusting the Lord.

  • Please be vigilant when accepting friend requests and messages from strangers.

Satan quoted scripture to tempt the Lord in the wilderness. He has many minions who do the same by picking on those who follow Christ now. Please pray for decernment of the spirits over yourself so you don't fall victim to schemes that can cost you dearly. This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks that someone does this to me. But they don't get what they want, I rather expose them.

This person is also refering to themselves as mrs and their 1st name. Which is an english language grammar mistake and can indicate that the one who wrote it is either uneducated (not likely) or is not even a white female or english speaking person; as the profile pic suggested; or used a translator to type. And also, their profile is not accessible any longer due to it being blocked or deleted or fake.

    ● They are claiming to be dieing - playing on the feelings of the reader.
    ● Mentioning the name of Jesus and quoting scripture - trying to earn trust from the reader.
    ● Offering sincerety - to make the reader feel at ease.
    ● Giving a compliment and thanks - adhering to the sincerity to build a stronger case of acceptance and trust.
    ● Offering finacial aid, for free, to a stranger - there is a saying "if it sounds to good to be true, it propably is" - this person is trying to make the reader believe in their samaritarian outreach to the needy, and this all in the name of Jesus.
    ● Inviting the reader - to close the converstion in a non-hostile manner so the reader would feel comfortable to comply with the instructions given.

    I am not complying... rather

In Jesus' mighty name, I pray this scheme gets cancelled and cut off any plans it has made to trick any other person.
    Amen.

  • Lesson Two: Why God doesn’t answer certain prayers

To understand why God closes His ears to a man’s prayers under these circumstances, you have to look at the relationship dynamic God establishes. He doesn't just view a wife as a spouse; He views her as His daughter.

When a man mistreats his wife, God steps in not just as a judge, but as a protective Father. No loving father would happily sit down, drink tea, and grant favors to someone who is actively hurting, neglecting, or disrespecting his child. By mistreating his wife, a husband is mistreating one of God's cherished daughters and a "co-heir" of His grace.

Furthermore, the Bible teaches that marriage is meant to be a physical reflection of a spiritual reality specifically, how Christ loves and cares for the church. When a husband acts with harshness or coldness, he breaks that sacred image. He cannot genuinely be "in tune" with God's heart while simultaneously breaking the heart of the person he vowed to protect. The blocked prayer is a natural spiritual consequence: you cannot walk in fellowship with the Father while walking in discord with His daughter.

  • YOUR REQUEST HAS BEEN HEARD
“Then he said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.’” —Daniel 10:12–13
An interesting story in the Old Testament book of Daniel offers us a rare, behind-the-scenes look at what happens when we pray. It seems only fitting that the story comes from the book of Daniel because Daniel was one of the great pray-ers in the Bible. He built his daily schedule around his prayer time. He prayed even at the risk of his own life.
In Daniel 10:12–13, Daniel receives a message confirming that his prayer reached Heaven. God heard Daniel’s prayer and dispatched an angel with a special message for Daniel. But the angel who was sent from Heaven was held up for twenty-one days because he was engaged in spiritual warfare with a powerful demon spirit. As a result, God dispatched Michael the archangel. (You might say that Michael is a head honcho among angels.) Michael overruled the demon power, and the answer eventually was brought to Daniel. But it took twenty-one days for the answer to get there.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that every prayer runs into the same delays. Remember, Daniel was a key figure during a very important time in the history of God’s people. He was a leading light not just among the Jewish people in exile but also among the rulers of Babylon.
The devil recognized Daniel’s spiritual potential and did everything in his power—including interfering with Daniel’s prayers—to thwart it.
That’s important to remember when our prayers seem to go unanswered. It may be that certain prayers have the potential to cause real damage to our spiritual enemy. He may be working overtime to thwart them. He won’t succeed, of course. But recognizing this possibility may help us be more patient when it comes to prayer.
Sometimes when God doesn’t answer our prayers as quickly as we would like Him to, we think that He’s letting us down. We need to understand that delays aren’t necessarily denials. When we pray and don’t see an answer as quickly as we would like, it may be a result of circumstances that we can’t see.
Maybe you’ve been praying for someone to come to know the Lord. Maybe you’ve been asking God to heal you. Maybe you’ve been asking the Lord to open doors of opportunity for you to serve Him. Don’t give up. Don’t be discouraged. Keep praying. Jesus said to keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, and the door would be opened. So be persistent. And watch what God will do.
