  • GOD OPENS NEW DOORS

Sometimes God closes one door because He is preparing you for something better. Don’t be discouraged by what didn’t work out—trust Him and step forward in faith.

“See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.” — Revelation 3:8

God has a plan for you.
Walk by faith, not by fear.
Be patient and trust His timing.
Give Him your worries, plans, and future.

Don’t give up. Don’t look back. God is doing something new in your life!

    Pray about it.
    Believe in Him.
    Receive His blessings.
    Live for Him.
    Glorify His name.

God’s timing is perfect. His plan is greater. Keep trusting Him!

Comment AMEN if you believe God is opening new doors for you.

  • Are you producing fruit—or looking for a throne?

    https://patrickryanlewis.com/2026/08/22/the-bramble-king-when-ambition-replaces-faithful-service/

In Judges 9, Jotham tells one of the most striking parables in the Old Testament.

The olive tree was producing something valuable.
The fig tree was producing fruit.
The vine was fulfilling its purpose.
None of them were desperate to rule.
    Then came the bramble.
It had little to offer but thorns, yet it was eager to become king.

There is a powerful lesson here for every believer: faithfulness is more important than position, and character matters more than a title.

We live in a world that encourages us to chase recognition, influence, platforms, and authority. But Scripture continually calls us back to something greater—faithfully serving God wherever He has planted us.

Before seeking a bigger platform, be faithful with the one you already have.

Before asking for more influence, steward the influence God has already given you.

Before looking for recognition, ask whether your life is producing fruit.

My latest blog takes a detailed look at Judges 9:7–21 and Jotham’s warning about the “Bramble King.”

Read the full article and consider this question:

Am I more concerned with being important—or being faithful?
