August 24 - The Redemptive Element of Jesus’ Impartial Healings #LifeOfChrist “‘Your faith has made you well’” (Matthew 9:22). In many instances in the gospels, the words translated “healed,” “made well,” or similar variations, are from the Greek word meaning salvation or saved from sin. For instance, when blind Bartimaeus came to Jesus to regain his sight, the Lord told him, “Go; your faith has made you well” (Mark 10:52). That Bartimaeus repeatedly called Jesus “Son of David,” a common messianic title, suggests that his physical healing included spiritual salvation. In the account of the ten lepers, Luke reports that all of them “were cleansed” (Luke 17:14), but this was from a word that means essentially physical cleansing. However, of the one who glorified God and returned to give thanks, Jesus used the same expression (see v. 19) as He did to Bartimaeus and the woman with the hemorrhage. Ten men received cleansing, but only one obtained salvation. This indicates that salvation and physical healing were sometimes linked, even if in the example of the ten lepers, only one man realized both. In addition to a strong redemptive element, Jesus’ healings were impartial. That Christ ministered equally to the leading synagogue elder and the outcast woman clearly proves this. The woman’s touching His garment with unclean hands did not offend Him. Nor did her presumption to obtain His help while He worked through the crowd to reach Jairus’s daughter bother Him. True needs never interfered with our Lord’s sovereign and impartial approach to ministry. “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matt. 20:28). Ask Yourself Would you describe your feelings and interactions with others as being impartial? Are there people who (though you might never admit it aloud) are considered beneath you and unworthy of your notice and attention? Confess this as sin before the Father, and model Jesus’ brand of ministry.

And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me’’’ (Matthew 4:8-9 NKJV). Satan’s third attack was over a cross-less life. In essence, he told Jesus, ‘You don’t have to carry the cross. Just bow to me and you can have it all.’ Jesus said, ‘…“Away with you, satan!...”’ (Matthew 4:10 NKJV). ‘Away’ with any teaching that says God is your porter and He has to wait on you! Or that He’s like a vending machine; all you have to do is put in a few coins and whatever you want will come out. Paul writes, ‘I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me’ (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). Has God promised to bless you? Absolutely! But that doesn’t mean you’ll never get hurt, or face lack, or fatigue, or be betrayed and disappointed by others. Jesus said, ‘…unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies [to self], it remains alone; but if it dies [to self], it produces much…’ (John 12:24 NKJV). Have you ever heard the expression, ‘Dead man walking?’ To do God’s will, you have to die to your own will, and do it daily. But if you’re willing to, God will take you to a new level of blessing. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28. And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. *Timeless Truth:* _For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister"_ (Hebrews 6:10) *INTRODUCTION* During the Second World War, Desmond Doss, an American Army medic and committed Christian, served without carrying a weapon because of his convictions. During the Battle of Okinawa in 1945, he repeatedly entered a dangerous battlefield to rescue wounded soldiers. He is credited with saving approximately 75 men, lowering each wounded soldier to safety while under enemy fire. Doss later received the Medal of Honor for extraordinary courage. His story reminds us that genuine commitment often involves sacrifice. A person who is committed to a worthy cause may surrender comfort, safety and personal advantage because he believes the cause is greater than himself. Peter's question in Matthew 19:27 comes from this same concern. The disciples had left much to follow Jesus, and Peter asked, “What shall we have therefore?” Jesus did not condemn the question. Instead, He taught them that sacrifice for God's kingdom is never wasted.*For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.* (Hebrews 6:10). The passage teaches us that Christ calls His followers to sacrificial discipleship, promises them spiritual reward and warns them against measuring God's kingdom by worldly standards. Perhaps you have sacrificed time to serve God. Perhaps you have endured rejection because of your faith. Perhaps you have given financially when it was difficult. Perhaps you have chosen obedience over personal ambition. Perhaps you have remained faithful in a ministry where nobody seems to notice your work. Jesus' answer in this passage is an encouragement: God sees, God remembers and God rewards. But Christ also corrects our understanding of reward. The Christian life is not primarily about asking, “What can I get from following Jesus?” It is about asking, “How can I faithfully serve the One who gave everything for me?” The disciples left much, but Jesus promised that their sacrifice would not be wasted. There are three great challenges before us: (i) Surrender your life completely to Christ. (ii) Serve faithfully without demanding immediate recognition. *(iii)* Stand firm when sacrifice becomes difficult. The world may celebrate those who appear to be first. God's kingdom operates differently. The person who quietly serves, humbly gives, faithfully prays, patiently suffers and continues obeying Christ may be accomplishing something of far greater eternal value than the person receiving public applause. Therefore, do not give up because your service is unnoticed. Do not stop serving because your sacrifice is costly. Do not measure God's faithfulness by your immediate circumstances. Your labour for Christ is never wasted. *Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.* (1 Corinthians 15:58) One day, the Lord Himself will reveal what truly mattered. And on that day, the faithful servant will discover that nothing surrendered to Christ was ever truly lost. *1. The Surrender of Sacrificial Discipleship* a. Peter reminded Jesus that the disciples had left their possessions and livelihoods to follow Him. Following Christ involves surrender. Christianity is not merely receiving blessings; it is also yielding our lives to the Lord. We must ask whether Christ truly has first place in our lives. Following Him may require us to surrender habits, relationships, ambitions, possessions, or personal preferences that compete with His will. b. The disciples did not merely admire Jesus; they left their former way of life and continued with Him. Christian commitment is not measured by how enthusiastically we begin, but by how faithfully we continue. *Questions* (i) What am I unwilling to surrender to Christ? (ii) Does my daily lifestyle demonstrate that following Jesus is more important to me than personal comfort? *2. The Reward of Kingdom Service* a. Jesus assured His disciples that their sacrifices would not go unnoticed. Jesus spoke of the future when He would sit on His glorious throne and the disciples would share in His kingdom. Our present service must be viewed in light of eternity. What we sacrifice for Christ now has eternal significance. b. Jesus promised that those who had sacrificed houses, family relationships or possessions for His name would receive abundant blessings. This does not mean that discipleship is a scheme for material prosperity. Rather, Jesus assures His followers that nothing surrendered to Him is ultimately lost. Jesus concludes His promise with: *"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters... for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”* *Questions* (i) Do I serve God for His glory or mainly for recognition and earthly rewards? (ii) When sacrifice becomes difficult, do I remember the eternal reward promised by Christ? *3. The Reversal of Kingdom Standards* a. Jesus concludes with a statement that challenges human ideas about success and reward. Human society often measures greatness through wealth, position, influence, education and recognition. But God's measurement is different. We should not measure our spiritual worth by comparing ourselves with other people. b. God values humble service rather than self-promotion. A disciple should be willing to serve even when nobody applauds, notices or rewards the work. The world's ranking system will not determine the final outcome. God will ultimately reveal the true value of every person's service. *Questions* (i) Do I become discouraged when others receive recognition while my service remains unnoticed? (ii) Am I willing to serve faithfully even when I receive no immediate reward? *Prayer Points* 1. Lord Jesus, help me to surrender every area of my life completely to You and place Your kingdom above my personal interests.🙏 2. Father, give me grace to remain faithful in serving You even when the work is difficult or unnoticed.🙏 3. In the text, Apostle Peter poses a question many believers still echo today: "We have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?" It is a question laced with hope but also with the subtle implication of comparison with others and transaction with God. Considering the context, Peter's question implies that if we have given up much for God, in contrast to the rich young ruler who didn't, surely we are due a proportionate reward. In His answer, Jesus affirms that sacrifice in His name is never forgotten. Certainly, we shall receive astounding rewards, yet He closes with a warning wrapped in a paradox: "But many _that are_ first shall be last; and the last _shall be_ first."* *This final line holds the key to understanding divine reward, not as a salary earned but as a gift bestowed in Sovereign wisdom. God's kingdom does not run on human logic or worldly meritocracy. Instead, it operates based on grace, faithfulness, and sincerity of heart. When we serve God with a mere transactional mind-set, doing in order to receive, we risk missing the heartbeat of discipleship. And to correct this misunderstanding, Jesus immediately follows His statement with the parable of the workers in the vineyard. There, those who worked a full day were shocked to receive the same wages as those hired last. Then Jesus concluded with the same warning: "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen". The point is clear: God's rewards are not based on length of service or human measure, but on His gracious prerogative. Faithfulness, not fame, draws heaven's attention.* *This ought to challenge and comfort us. We are not in competition in God's kingdom. We are simply called to be faithful. Whatever the sacrifice our calling may demand, the measure of our reward is not in the scope of our task but in our fidelity to it. In most cases, the first thing is the most important. For example, in an examination result, the first position is given to the child that scores the highest mark. The first always opens the list for other items to follow. As shown in our Bible passage, the first opens the door for all other benefits to come through. The blessings of God seem to be arranged in a divine, logical order in the lives of God's children. We do not have to rush for the second if we have not yet received the first. Sins (iniquities) block our way to receiving God's many benefits or blessings. Sin must first be removed out of our lives if we want to have God's blessings. For, *"if I regard* (allow) *iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* - and bless me (Psalm 66:18). In our Bible passage, the first benefit stated there is *"forgiveness of sin"*. August 23 - Jesus Touches an Untouchable #LifeOfChrist “A woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years, came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak; for she was saying to herself, ‘If I only touch His garment, I will get well.’ But Jesus turning and seeing her said, ‘Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.’ At once the woman was made well” (Matthew 9:20–22). When the godly Sir James Simpson was on his deathbed, a friend said to him, “Well, James, soon you will be able to rest on the bosom of Jesus.” But Simpson replied, “I don’t know that I can quite do that, but I do think I can take hold of His garment.” In her shame at being ostracized from her family and being ceremonially unclean, the woman here wanted to be unnoticed. She merely desired to touch Jesus’ garment, confident that such contact was enough to receive healing. In keeping with such confidence, she received immediate healing from her defilement. Our Lord became aware of what had happened only as He realized that divine power had gone out from Him (Luke 8:46)—a realization that happened before He humanly knew of the woman specifically. His statement, “your faith has made you well,” simply assured her and the crowd that miraculous healing had occurred. Jesus did not care that her touching Him would make Him ceremonially unclean to the Jews. The Lord was touchable even by an untouchable. Even though the woman’s expectations were likely not fully informed by Scripture—she might have superstitiously thought Christ’s clothes had inherent healing powers—He spoke to her caringly and compassionately: “Daughter, take courage.” In spite of other factors, the woman’s faith was genuine and acceptable to the Lord. It was enough to make her well. Ask Yourself Part of the balance of Christian faith is realizing that we are unworthy to touch the hem of His garment, yet are welcomed into His full embrace as an adopted member of His family. How do these two seeming incongruities come together and balance out in your worship?

17th August 2026 Today was actually a really good day. 😊 Some days the orders are really good, and today was one of those days. I worked for about one hour in the early afternoon and then around three hours at night, from 6 to 9. So, just four hours in total, and I made around ₹1,200. I honestly wish every day was like this! 😂 But that's not even the highlight of my day. The highlight was what happened tonight. I was waiting for an order near my home when I got one where the pickup was very close by, but the drop was a little towards the outskirts. The drop location was St. Anthony's Church. That church is actually special to me because it's one of the churches I had visited before. My brother and I completed our Sacrament of Confirmation there a few years ago. Since the place was a little far out, I thought there was a chance I might not get an order back home after dropping the passenger. But then I thought, "It's been almost 6–7 months since I've gone to church. If I don't get another order, I'll just stop there, pray for a few minutes and come home." So I picked up this girl and took her there. And when we reached, I realized the drop was literally right in front of the church! After I dropped her, she asked me if I could wait for 10–15 minutes because she wanted to take a ride back with me to the same place where I picked her up. I asked her what she was going to do there, and she said she was going to the church and would probably take about 10 minutes. It was already around 7:30 at night, so I told her that the church was probably closed. She said she didn't know it was closed and didn't know what to do. I told her that maybe the gate would still be open and that she could at least go in front of the church and pray, even if she couldn't go inside. And I told her, "If you're going to the church, I'll come with you." So both of us went inside the church campus. Just as I thought, the church was closed, but we stood outside the church and prayed together. After that, she booked another ride back, and I got the order and accepted it. While we were coming back, she started telling me her story. She had come to Bangalore from Chennai only about a week ago for a job. She doesn't really know anyone here except a couple of girls who are staying with her in her PG. She told me that she had been feeling really low that day. She just wanted to go somewhere and pray, so she searched on Google for a church. St. Anthony's Church came up, and she simply booked a Rapido to go there. She hadn't even checked properly where the church was or how far it was. And while coming there, she actually got scared because the area was quite far out. There were farms and very few people around, it was dark, and there weren't many streetlights. She was wondering where we were going and whether she had somehow ended up going to a completely different place. 😂 She kept telling me how happy and grateful she was that she got me as her rider. She started calling me "Akka" and was really comfortable talking to me. I was able to give her some advice, share some godly wisdom and also share a few of my testimonies with her. Most importantly, I got the opportunity to talk to her about Jesus. I told her that I genuinely believe it was God's plan that we met today. Because of her, I ended up going to a church after almost 6–7 months. I had been thinking about going to church for a long time, and today, without even planning it, I actually stepped into a church campus and prayed. While we were coming back, she was telling me more about herself, and I noticed that she had a speech difficulty. She was stuttering while talking. After a while, she actually told me herself, "I have stuttering, that's why I talk like this." So while I was encouraging her, I told her that God has great plans for her and that she should always walk in obedience to Him, listen to His guidance, and follow His will for her life. I told her that there will always be things and people that try to take us away from God's path, but we should keep listening to God and choose His way. Then I told her about Moses. I told her that Moses also had difficulty speaking. When God called him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses himself felt that he wasn't capable and didn't know how he could do it. But God still chose him and used him to do something incredibly great. I told her, "God doesn't need us to be perfect for Him to use us. When I told her that, she was actually quite amazed. I don't think she knew much about the story of Moses, because she was really surprised to hear it. I felt that this was something she really needed to hear at that moment. I wanted her to understand that whatever she may see as a weakness in herself doesn't mean that God cannot use her. God has a purpose for her, and He can still do great things through her life. I also gave her my number and told her that if she ever needs any help or gets stuck with anything, she can call me and I'll help her if I can. When I dropped her back, I also told her that she doesn't have to travel so far just to go to church. I showed her a few churches closer to where she stays. I even invited her for future Bible reading and Bible studies, and she said she'd be interested. So let's see how that goes. 😊 Honestly, this was the highlight of my entire day. I truly believe this wasn't just a random Rapido ride. I believe God brought our paths together for a reason. ❤️ I went out today thinking I was just going to work and earn some money, but God gave me an opportunity to meet someone, encourage her, talk to her about Jesus, and even get myself back into a church after so many months. So yeah… this is what happened today. ❤️

Gideon had no idea what God was purpose, Gideon feel small weak and unworthy and afraid but God saw, not what Gideon was but what he become through Him that's how God sees you. We live in a time when fear and doubt often hold people captive, but the message of Gideon story is clear. When God's calls Gideon means God saw something different, he didn't need to be the strongest or the bravest he just needed to trust obey. You may feel weak, afraid or insignificant you may think your past mistakes or failures have disqualified you from God's purpose but the Lord says "I am with you mighty warrior" Mighty warrior means showed extreme bravery in battle, skill in battle unwavering determination, valor loyalty and ability to inspire a soldier. When God is with you, you are never defeated He takes the ordinary and does the extraordinary. Remember your weakness is perfect place for God to show His strength, the Lord is with you! He will fight your battles, strengthen your heart and make you victorious in His name. 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✍️ “𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦—𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺; 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘴 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺.” We often mistake Christian freedom for a license to do as we please. It is easier to protect our comfort than to sacrifice for someone else. Love is one of the most spoken words yet least practiced. But as God’s people, freedom isn’t for self—it’s for service. Whether we use our freedom for ourselves or for others, the real question isn’t if we know love but if it drives us to serve. Paul writes in 🕮 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟑, “𝘍𝘰𝘳, 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘯, 𝘺𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘺... 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.” Christian liberty was never given as permission to live for ourselves but as freedom to serve others. The Gospel does not produce selfish hearts seeking comfort; it transforms us into servants whose love is demonstrated through humble action. A river doesn’t refuse to flow or hoard water like a lake. Love isn’t a reservoir to keep—it’s a river to release. When we stop serving, our spiritual lives stagnate like a swamp. God’s love isn’t meant to collect; it was meant to flow. A heart touched by Christ’s grace naturally becomes a channel of grace to others. Scripture consistently joins love with action. Jesus commanded, “𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧” (𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟐𝟐:𝟑𝟗). Never Stop Praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Prayer is more than asking God for what we want. Prayer is relationship. It is a conversation with the One who created you, knows you completely, loves you deeply, and invites you to come to Him. The Bible gives us a simple but powerful instruction: “Pray continually.” That doesn't mean you have to spend every minute of the day on your knees. It means prayer should become part of the rhythm of your life. Talk to God when you're happy. Talk to Him when you're afraid. Talk to Him when you're confused. Talk to Him when you're grateful. Talk to Him when you don't know what to do. And talk to Him when you have nothing to say. God doesn't need perfect words. He wants an honest heart. Sometimes your prayer may be long. Sometimes it may simply be: “Lord, help me.” And that's enough to begin. Jesus Himself demonstrated the importance of prayer. He regularly withdrew from the crowds to spend time with the Father. If Jesus made time for prayer, how much more should we? Prayer changes more than our circumstances. Sometimes God changes the situation. Sometimes He changes us in the middle of the situation. Prayer can give you peace when the answer hasn't arrived. It can give you strength when you're tired. It can give you wisdom when you don't know which decision to make. It can remind you that you are not carrying your burdens alone. But remember: Prayer isn't a magic formula for getting everything we want. We pray according to God's will and trust His wisdom. Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes it is no. Sometimes it is wait. And waiting can be difficult. But God's silence doesn't mean God's absence. He is still listening. He is still working. He is still God. So don't stop praying because the answer hasn't come yet. Don't stop praying because you made a mistake. Don't stop praying because you feel unworthy. Don't stop praying because you've been disappointed. Bring everything to God. Your dreams. Your fears. Your family. Your career. Your relationships. Your struggles. Your future. And most importantly, bring your heart to Him. If you don't know Jesus personally, prayer can begin with something as simple as: “Jesus, I need You. Forgive my sins, change my heart, and help me follow You.” God isn't looking for impressive words. He is looking for a sincere heart that turns toward Him. Make prayer part of your morning. Pray during your commute. Pray before making important decisions. Pray for your friends. Pray for your enemies. Pray for people who don't know Christ. Pray when you are celebrating. Pray when you are struggling. Keep the conversation with God open. Never stop praying. The God who hears you is the God who loves you. We were not rescued because we deserved it. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 reminds us that God's love reached us at our worst and made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. At Calvary, Jesus did not merely die as an example of love—He died as our Substitute. He took the punishment that our sins deserved so that we could receive the peace and reconciliation that we could never earn by ourselves. 🙏🏽 🔥 THREE TRUTHS FROM THE CROSS 1️⃣ CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY. «“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” — Romans 5:6» Jesus did not wait until humanity became worthy. He came when we were helpless. His grace reached us when we could not save ourselves. ✝️ 2️⃣ GOD'S LOVE WAS PROVED AT THE CROSS. ❤️ The Cross is God's declaration that His love is greater than our failure. Some are for special use, while others are for ordinary use. Rom 9:21 [1Ti 3:15] 21 Therefore, if anyone stops associating with these people, he will become a special utensil, set apart for the owner’s use, prepared for every good action. 22 Flee from youthful passions. Instead, pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. 1Ti 6:11 [1Co 1:2] [Heb 12:14] *TOPIC:* LIVING IN PURITY. *THE MESSAGE:* In this text, Paul uses the metaphor of a great house containing vessels of gold, silver, wood, and clay - some for honourable use, while others for dishonourable use. He urged Timothy to cleanse himself from what is dishonourable so that he may become a vessel fit for a noble purpose. This illustrates the call for believers to separate themselves from sin, false teachings, and unworthy associations, so that they may live in purity and be useful instruments in God's hands. Living in purity involves fleeing youthful passions and actively pursuing righteousness, faith, love, and peace. You must also avoid watching sensual musical videos, obscene movies, music with erotic lyrics, and lust. This requires self-control, which is necessary for anyone who intends to live a life of purity. How is your lifestyle? ED.ii. THE DIABOLIC TRINITY IN THE END TIMES "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8 There are three major end time main players who form a diabolical trio. The reason we talk about this is because we all need to know what is to come. Just as God is a Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, there is also a diabolical trinity, namely: the evil one, the antichrist and the false prophet. The Lord God did not leave us in ignorance about what is to happen. These three have different personalities. The evil one There are people who do not believe that the evil one - the first person of this trinity - exists. However, as God exists, there is also an opponent who is now more than ever out to destroy humanity. He is looking for a prey to destroy (see 1 Peter 5:8). The antichrist The second person of the diabolical trinity in this end time is the antichrist. We read about this in Revelation 13:1-8. In the Bible he is called the beast. The antichrist will rise during the last big empire - the restored Roman Empire - from the image of Daniel (see Daniel 2). When the feet of that image become visible, the power will be given to this leader. He will emerge as a diabolical dictator. He will not allow God to be worshiped and will place himself in the temple in Jerusalem. The false prophet In the time of the antichrist, the false prophet will also appear. We read about him in Revelation 13:11-14. He will seduce people by performing miracles and signs. During this time the false prophet will persuade people to believe in the antichrist. When these three appears on stage, a terrible time will come. But Jesus Christ will also return on the clouds to end this period. my breakdown of philippians 4:8 What is true about the gospel The truth about the gospel is that God is kind, God is patient, God loves His creation, God keeps His promises. What is noble about the gospel Jesus is selfless, He is the creator, He is kind and He is God, yet brought Himself to nothing to save me. What is right about the gospel? Jesus shows pitty on us sinners, Jesus shows the sacrificial and selfless love of God. The gospel is right because it rescues sinners and brings us close to God. What is pure about the gospel? The gospel shows the pure sacrificial selfless love of God. It shows the ultimate purity of Jesus, He is sinless, perfect, righteous, never had a evil thought or spoke a single evil word. Jesus is cleaner than snow. What is lovely about the gospel Jesus is lovely because He never hurt anything or anyone, Jesus is lovely because He loves without counting the cost. He is lovely because He is humble, gentle and full of truth and hope. All hope light and life are in Him. There is nothing beautiful outside of Jesus. What is admirable about the gospel It shows that Jesus obeys God no matter what. He obeys God perfectly and His focus was on finishing His mission for which He was sent. He endured the pain and suffering with His heart and mind focused on rescuing helpless sinners. Its admirable because He didn't give up in the face of unspeakable pain. Gospel is excellent, 14ththe gospel shows Jesus’s excellence, His excellence is in His clean and pure heart, Because He loved the poor in spirit and He healed the sick. Even those that hated Him and killed Him he prayed for them for their forgiveness, Jesus is the picture and definition of excellence. Gospel is praiseworthy because it shows the sacrificial selfless love of Jesus, for unworthy sinners. Jesus is praiseworthy because He keeps His word and loves His sheep and never leaves them. He never told a lie, He always practiced what He taught. Jesus is clean, He is pure, He is light and the only source of life.
