  • Kingdom Carriers | The Hidden Life

We often recognise spiritual growth by what we can see.
The fruit. The influence. The opportunities. The things God appears to be doing through someone's life.

But Jesus consistently drew attention to something deeper. Before there is fruit above the ground, there must be life beneath it. Roots grow where nobody applauds. They deepen in darkness. They draw nourishment quietly. And for a long time, there may be very little evidence above the surface of what is happening below.

Our spiritual lives are much the same. The prayers nobody hears. The choices nobody sees. The forgiveness nobody knows was difficult. The temptation quietly resisted. The Scripture carried in the heart.

The obedience that receives no recognition. These things may never become testimonies we tell publicly. But they are forming roots. And perhaps this is where we sometimes misunderstand the Kingdom.

We ask God for greater fruit, while He may be working on deeper roots.

    Jesus said:
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine." (John 15:4).

The Kingdom is not sustained by visibility. It is sustained by abiding.
    Maybe the question isn't,
"What is God doing through me?" Perhaps the deeper question is. "What is God developing within me that nobody else can see?"

Because when the roots are deep, we don't have to manufacture the fruit. In its season, it will come.

    Grace and peace,

    Jacob

*I Shine as the Light of the World*

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” — Matthew 5:14.

    *Prophetic Declaration:*
Today, I declare that I am the light of the world through Jesus Christ. The light of God shines in me and through me, and every form of darkness around my life is dispelled by His glorious presence. I shall not be hidden, ignored, or forgotten, for the Lord has ordained me to shine for His glory.

I declare that wherever I go today, I shall be a source of hope, encouragement, wisdom, and godly influence. My words, actions, and character shall reflect the love and truth of Christ, drawing others closer to Him.

Today, every veil of limitation, obscurity, and stagnation is removed. The Lord is lifting me to a place of divine visibility and favor. My gifts shall make room for me, my efforts shall be recognized, and the works of my hands shall glorify God.

I declare that no power of darkness shall extinguish the light God has placed within me. Fear, doubt, and discouragement shall not overcome me, because the Holy Spirit empowers me to walk boldly in my divine purpose. I will shine in my family, my ministry, my workplace, my studies, and in every community where God has planted me.

Today, I choose to let my light shine through acts of love, kindness, righteousness, and faithful service. As I walk in obedience to God's Word, many shall see His goodness through my life and give glory to my Father in heaven.

I declare that this day is filled with divine opportunities, favor, peace, and joyful testimonies. My life shall be a beacon of God's grace, and I shall continue to shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day in Jesus' mighty name. Amen

    *Action Steps for today:*
Thank God for making you a light in the world.

  • YOU CANNOT SKIP THE HIDDEN YEARS
Everyone wants wings. Very few people want the cocoon.

Romans 12:2 says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye _*transformed*_ by the renewing of your mind..." The Greek word translated "transformed" is metamorphoō, from which we get the English word metamorphosis.

    God compared transformation to metamorphosis.

An egg does not look slightly different when it becomes a butterfly. The difference is dramatic. That is how different your life should become after God renews your mind.

    Many believers refuse this process.

The moment they receive Christ, they want a microphone. They want visibility. They want ministry. They want influence. But where was the hidden season?

Where was the time of silence? Where was the period when God was changing you?

The caterpillar does not become a butterfly in public. It enters a cocoon. It disappears.

Jesus came to save the world, yet He remained hidden for thirty years. (Luke 2:40, 52; Luke 3:23)

Paul preached briefly after his conversion, then disappeared for years before God publicly released him. (Acts 9:19–30; Galatians 1:15–18; Galatians 2:1)

God hides His servants before He reveals them. Many people destroy the process because they cannot endure being unseen.

They think every opportunity must be accepted. Every platform must be taken. Every gift must immediately become a ministry. Then they wonder why they collapse.

The hidden years are where God teaches you to quiet your soul. He teaches patience. He teaches obedience. He teaches dependence.

If God hides you, do not fight the hiding place. Stay there until He brings you out.

    Shalom!

  • Many emerging seer prophets think the Lord is hiding them from people.

    He is not.

He is hiding people from them.

This is one of the great mysteries of prophetic formation. Hidden seasons are often misunderstood because they feel like rejection. Doors remain closed. Opportunities disappear. Invitations never come. You watch others become visible while your own life seems buried beneath years of obscurity. It is easy to conclude that the Lord has overlooked you.

Perhaps He is doing something far more profound.

Perhaps He is hiding you from voices that would shape you before His voice has fully formed you.

Every voice leaves an imprint upon the soul. Every environment quietly teaches you what to value. Every audience carries expectations, and those expectations slowly begin shaping the way you think, speak, minister, and even hear God. The Lord understands how easily an emerging seer can confuse the applause of people with the approval of God.

That is why He often forms His servants where public opinion has no access.

Before Moses ever stood before Pharaoh, he spent forty years in Midian. Most people think the wilderness prepared Moses to confront Egypt. I believe it first removed Egypt from Moses. He entered Midian thinking like a prince. He left thinking like a shepherd. The wilderness was not teaching him leadership. It was dismantling an identity that could never represent God.

    David experienced the same pattern.

He was anointed king while still a shepherd, yet the anointing did not immediately produce a throne. Instead, it led him into caves, rejection, betrayal, and years of hiddenness. The Lord was not delaying David's destiny. He was protecting David from becoming the kind of king who believed the crown belonged to him.

John the Baptist emerged from the wilderness already settled in his identity. He did not arrive asking people who he was. He did not build his ministry around gaining acceptance. When Christ appeared, John could say without hesitation, "He must increase, but I must decrease."

Only a man whose identity had been formed away from crowds could speak like that.

Even Paul disappeared into Arabia after meeting Christ. We know almost nothing about those years, yet those hidden years shaped one of the greatest apostles in Scripture. Before the Lord exposed Paul to the nations, He first removed him from the noise of religious expectation. There were lessons that could only be learned where no audience was watching.

    Notice the pattern.

The Lord consistently separates His servants before He sends them.

Not because He is withholding influence.

Because influence given before identity is formed becomes dangerous.

One of the greatest threats to an emerging seer is not persecution.

    It is premature visibility.

    Visibility introduces voices.

    Voices introduce expectations.

    Expectations introduce pressure.

And pressure has a remarkable ability to reshape a person's identity if that identity has not first been anchored in the Father's voice.

This is why the wilderness feels so lonely.

The people you wish would notice you cannot find you because the Lord has intentionally limited their access to your life. He is protecting something they cannot yet appreciate. He is preserving a work that would easily be interrupted if exposed too early.

A fruit ripens in hiddenness before it is picked.

A child develops in the womb before it is introduced to the world.

A foundation is laid beneath the ground before anyone admires the building.

God seems remarkably comfortable doing His greatest work where nobody is looking.

Perhaps that is because hiddenness protects purity.

When no one is applauding you, your motives become visible.

When no one is celebrating you, your identity is tested.

When no one is affirming you, you discover whether the Father's pleasure is truly enough.

These are lessons that cannot be learned from a platform.

    They are learned in secret.

Perhaps your hidden season is not evidence that the Lord has forgotten you.

Perhaps it is evidence that He values your assignment too much to expose it before your identity has become immovable.

One day the Lord will open the doors.

One day He will broaden your influence.

One day people will hear your voice.

But when that day comes, He wants your heart to belong so completely to Him that no amount of applause can improve your identity, and no amount of rejection can diminish it.

The Lord is not merely preparing your ministry.

He is protecting the person who will carry it.

And sometimes the greatest protection He can give an emerging seer...

    Is fewer voices.

    Less visibility.

And more time alone with Him.
Many emerging seer prophets think the Lord is hiding them from people. He is not. He is hiding people from them. This is one of the great mysteries of prophetic formation. Hidden seasons are often misunderstood because they feel like rejection. Doors remain closed. Opportunities disappear. Invitations never come.
