• PROVERB OF THE DAY

    (Proverbs 23)

    1. When you sit down to eat with a ruler,
    Consider carefully what is before you;

    2. And put a knife to your throat
    If you are a man given to appetite.

    3. Do not desire his delicacies,
    For they are deceptive food.

    4. Do not overwork to be rich;
    Because of your own understanding, cease!

    5. Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
    For riches certainly make themselves wings;
    They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.

    6. Do not eat the bread of a miser,
    Nor desire his delicacies;

    7. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
    “Eat and drink!” he says to you,
    But his heart is not with you.

    8. The morsel you have eaten, you will vomit up,
    And waste your pleasant words.

    9. Do not speak in the hearing of a fool,
    For he will despise the wisdom of your words.

    10. Do not remove the ancient landmark,
    Nor enter the fields of the fatherless;

    11. For their Redeemer is mighty;
    He will plead their cause against you.

    12. Apply your heart to instruction,
    And your ears to words of knowledge.

    13. Do not withhold correction from a child,
    For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die.

    14. You shall beat him with a rod,
    And deliver his soul from hell.

    15. My son, if your heart is wise,
    My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself;

    16. Yes, my inmost being will rejoice
    When your lips speak right things.

    17. Do not let your heart envy sinners,
    But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day;

    18. For surely there is a hereafter,
    And your hope will not be cut off.

    19. Hear, my son, and be wise;
    And guide your heart in the way.

    20. Do not mix with winebibbers,
    Or with gluttonous eaters of meat;

    21. For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty,
    And drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.

    22. Listen to your father who begot you,
    And do not despise your mother when she is old.

    23. Buy the truth, and do not sell it,
    Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

    24. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
    And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.

    25. Let your father and your mother be glad,
    And let her who bore you rejoice.

    26. My son, give me your heart,
    And let your eyes observe my ways.

    27. For a harlot is a deep pit,
    And a seductress is a narrow well.

    28. She also lies in wait as for a victim,
    And increases the unfaithful among men.

    29. Who has woe?
    Who has sorrow?
    Who has contentions?
    Who has complaints?
    Who has wounds without cause?
    Who has redness of eyes?

    30. Those who linger long at the wine,
    Those who go in search of mixed wine.

    31. Do not look on the wine when it is red,
    When it sparkles in the cup,
    When it swirls around smoothly;

    32. At the last it bites like a serpent,
    And stings like a viper.

    33. Your eyes will see strange things,
    And your heart will utter perverse things.

    34. Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
    Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying:

    35. “They have struck me, but I was not hurt;
    They have beaten me, but I did not feel it.
    When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink?”

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    SUNDAY AUGUST 23, 2O26.
    "THREE LEVELS OF ATTACK (3)"

    ‘…All these things I will give you...’ Matthew 4:9 NKJV

    THE ATTACK over the cross. Let’s look at the third temptation Jesus faced: ‘…The devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me’’’ (Matthew 4:8-9 NKJV). Satan’s third attack was over a cross-less life. In essence, he told Jesus, ‘You don’t have to carry the cross. Just bow to me and you can have it all.’ Jesus said, ‘…“Away with you, satan!...”’ (Matthew 4:10 NKJV). ‘Away’ with any teaching that says God is your porter and He has to wait on you! Or that He’s like a vending machine; all you have to do is put in a few coins and whatever you want will come out. Paul writes, ‘I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me’ (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). Has God promised to bless you? Absolutely! But that doesn’t mean you’ll never get hurt, or face lack, or fatigue, or be betrayed and disappointed by others. Jesus said, ‘…unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies [to self], it remains alone; but if it dies [to self], it produces much…’ (John 12:24 NKJV). Have you ever heard the expression, ‘Dead man walking?’ To do God’s will, you have to die to your own will, and do it daily. But if you’re willing to, God will take you to a new level of blessing.

    *THE REWARD OF SACRIFICIAL DISCIPLESHIP*

    *Text:* Matthew 19:27–30

    27. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
    28. And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
    29. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
    30. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

    *Timeless Truth:*
    _For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister"_ (Hebrews 6:10)

    *INTRODUCTION*

    During the Second World War, Desmond Doss, an American Army medic and committed Christian, served without carrying a weapon because of his convictions. During the Battle of Okinawa in 1945, he repeatedly entered a dangerous battlefield to rescue wounded soldiers. He is credited with saving approximately 75 men, lowering each wounded soldier to safety while under enemy fire. Doss later received the Medal of Honor for extraordinary courage.
    His story reminds us that genuine commitment often involves sacrifice. A person who is committed to a worthy cause may surrender comfort, safety and personal advantage because he believes the cause is greater than himself.
    Peter's question in Matthew 19:27 comes from this same concern. The disciples had left much to follow Jesus, and Peter asked, “What shall we have therefore?” Jesus did not condemn the question. Instead, He taught them that sacrifice for God's kingdom is never wasted.*For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.* (Hebrews 6:10).
    The passage teaches us that Christ calls His followers to sacrificial discipleship, promises them spiritual reward and warns them against measuring God's kingdom by worldly standards.
    Perhaps you have sacrificed time to serve God. Perhaps you have endured rejection because of your faith. Perhaps you have given financially when it was difficult. Perhaps you have chosen obedience over personal ambition. Perhaps you have remained faithful in a ministry where nobody seems to notice your work. Jesus' answer in this passage is an encouragement: God sees, God remembers and God rewards. But Christ also corrects our understanding of reward. The Christian life is not primarily about asking, “What can I get from following Jesus?” It is about asking, “How can I faithfully serve the One who gave everything for me?”
    The disciples left much, but Jesus promised that their sacrifice would not be wasted. There are three great challenges before us:
    (i) Surrender your life completely to Christ.
    (ii) Serve faithfully without demanding immediate recognition. *(iii)* Stand firm when sacrifice becomes difficult.
    The world may celebrate those who appear to be first. God's kingdom operates differently. The person who quietly serves, humbly gives, faithfully prays, patiently suffers and continues obeying Christ may be accomplishing something of far greater eternal value than the person receiving public applause.
    Therefore, do not give up because your service is unnoticed. Do not stop serving because your sacrifice is costly. Do not measure God's faithfulness by your immediate circumstances. Your labour for Christ is never wasted.
    *Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.* (1 Corinthians 15:58)
    One day, the Lord Himself will reveal what truly mattered. And on that day, the faithful servant will discover that nothing surrendered to Christ was ever truly lost.

    *1. The Surrender of Sacrificial Discipleship*

    a. Peter reminded Jesus that the disciples had left their possessions and livelihoods to follow Him. Following Christ involves surrender. Christianity is not merely receiving blessings; it is also yielding our lives to the Lord. We must ask whether Christ truly has first place in our lives. Following Him may require us to surrender habits, relationships, ambitions, possessions, or personal preferences that compete with His will.
    b. The disciples did not merely admire Jesus; they left their former way of life and continued with Him. Christian commitment is not measured by how enthusiastically we begin, but by how faithfully we continue.

    *Questions*

    (i) What am I unwilling to surrender to Christ?
    (ii) Does my daily lifestyle demonstrate that following Jesus is more important to me than personal comfort?

    *2. The Reward of Kingdom Service*

    a. Jesus assured His disciples that their sacrifices would not go unnoticed. Jesus spoke of the future when He would sit on His glorious throne and the disciples would share in His kingdom.
    Our present service must be viewed in light of eternity. What we sacrifice for Christ now has eternal significance.
    b. Jesus promised that those who had sacrificed houses, family relationships or possessions for His name would receive abundant blessings. This does not mean that discipleship is a scheme for material prosperity. Rather, Jesus assures His followers that nothing surrendered to Him is ultimately lost. Jesus concludes His promise with: *"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters... for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”*

    *Questions*

    (i) Do I serve God for His glory or mainly for recognition and earthly rewards?
    (ii) When sacrifice becomes difficult, do I remember the eternal reward promised by Christ?

    *3. The Reversal of Kingdom Standards*

    a. Jesus concludes with a statement that challenges human ideas about success and reward.
    Human society often measures greatness through wealth, position, influence, education and recognition. But God's measurement is different. We should not measure our spiritual worth by comparing ourselves with other people.
    b. God values humble service rather than self-promotion. A disciple should be willing to serve even when nobody applauds, notices or rewards the work. The world's ranking system will not determine the final outcome. God will ultimately reveal the true value of every person's service.

    *Questions*

    (i) Do I become discouraged when others receive recognition while my service remains unnoticed?
    (ii) Am I willing to serve faithfully even when I receive no immediate reward?

    *Prayer Points*

    1. Lord Jesus, help me to surrender every area of my life completely to You and place Your kingdom above my personal interests.
    2. Father, give me grace to remain faithful in serving You even when the work is difficult or unnoticed.
    3. Lord, deliver me from comparing myself with others and help me to value eternal rewards above temporary recognition.
    4. Holy Spirit, remove pride and selfish ambition from my heart and make me a humble servant who seeks God's glory rather than human applause.

    *BEYOND HUMAN MEASURE* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽🏽

    ```TEXT:MATTHEW 19:27-30```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first" (MATTHEW 19:29, 30).*_

    *Brother Andrew, a humble Dutchman, began smuggling Bibles into communist countries during the _Cold War,_ risking his life to serve believers behind the Iron Curtain. He didn't seek fame; he just obeyed God's quiet call. That small, faithful beginning grew into _Open Doors,_ a global ministry that continues to help persecuted Christians today. Though little known on earth, Andrew is surely honoured in heaven.*

    *His story perfectly illustrates the timeless principle Jesus lays out in today's passage: that all faithful, sacrificial service done for Him, however hidden or risky, will attract heaven's reward. In the text, Apostle Peter poses a question many believers still echo today: "We have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?" It is a question laced with hope but also with the subtle implication of comparison with others and transaction with God. Considering the context, Peter's question implies that if we have given up much for God, in contrast to the rich young ruler who didn't, surely we are due a proportionate reward. In His answer, Jesus affirms that sacrifice in His name is never forgotten. Certainly, we shall receive astounding rewards, yet He closes with a warning wrapped in a paradox: "But many _that are_ first shall be last; and the last _shall be_ first."*

    *This final line holds the key to understanding divine reward, not as a salary earned but as a gift bestowed in Sovereign wisdom. God's kingdom does not run on human logic or worldly meritocracy. Instead, it operates based on grace, faithfulness, and sincerity of heart. When we serve God with a mere transactional mind-set, doing in order to receive, we risk missing the heartbeat of discipleship. And to correct this misunderstanding, Jesus immediately follows His statement with the parable of the workers in the vineyard. There, those who worked a full day were shocked to receive the same wages as those hired last. Then Jesus concluded with the same warning: "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen". The point is clear: God's rewards are not based on length of service or human measure, but on His gracious prerogative. Faithfulness, not fame, draws heaven's attention.*

    *This ought to challenge and comfort us. We are not in competition in God's kingdom. We are simply called to be faithful. Whatever the sacrifice our calling may demand, the measure of our reward is not in the scope of our task but in our fidelity to it. So, as the "prize-giving day" draws near, let us serve with joy, not calculation, remembering that the One who called us is no man's debtor but a just and faithful Rewarder.*

    ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*When you serve in silence, heaven echoes your labour with eternal applause.*_

    A list always starts with number one (1). In most cases, the first thing is the most important. For example, in an examination result, the first position is given to the child that scores the highest mark. The first always opens the list for other items to follow.

    As shown in our Bible passage, the first opens the door for all other benefits to come through. The blessings of God seem to be arranged in a divine, logical order in the lives of God's children. We do not have to rush for the second if we have not yet received the first. Sins (iniquities) block our way to receiving God's many benefits or blessings.

    Sin must first be removed out of our lives if we want to have God's blessings. For, *"if I regard* (allow) *iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* - and bless me (Psalm 66:18). In our Bible passage, the first benefit stated there is *"forgiveness of sin"*.

    It is after you have received this first benefit, by turning away from your bad ways, saying sorry to God, and making Jesus your Saviour and friend, that you are qualified to enjoy the other benefits like healing, deliverance, love and mercy of God, provision and long life.

    *If you desire God's blessings in your life, do the first thing first: repent and turn away from your sins, and the needed blessings will come into your life.*

    ```rayer:``` _*Lord, I am sorry for every bad thing I have done. Forgive my sins, be merciful to me and bless me.*_ 🏽
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. *Timeless Truth:* _For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister"_ (Hebrews 6:10) *INTRODUCTION* During the Second World War, Desmond Doss, an American Army medic and committed Christian, served without carrying a weapon because of his convictions. During the Battle of Okinawa in 1945, he repeatedly entered a dangerous battlefield to rescue wounded soldiers. He is credited with saving approximately 75 men, lowering each wounded soldier to safety while under enemy fire. Doss later received the Medal of Honor for extraordinary courage. His story reminds us that genuine commitment often involves sacrifice. A person who is committed to a worthy cause may surrender comfort, safety and personal advantage because he believes the cause is greater than himself. Peter's question in Matthew 19:27 comes from this same concern. The disciples had left much to follow Jesus, and Peter asked, “What shall we have therefore?” Jesus did not condemn the question. Instead, He taught them that sacrifice for God's kingdom is never wasted.*For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.* (Hebrews 6:10). The passage teaches us that Christ calls His followers to sacrificial discipleship, promises them spiritual reward and warns them against measuring God's kingdom by worldly standards. Perhaps you have sacrificed time to serve God. Perhaps you have endured rejection because of your faith. Perhaps you have given financially when it was difficult. Perhaps you have chosen obedience over personal ambition. Perhaps you have remained faithful in a ministry where nobody seems to notice your work. Jesus' answer in this passage is an encouragement: God sees, God remembers and God rewards. But Christ also corrects our understanding of reward. The Christian life is not primarily about asking, “What can I get from following Jesus?” It is about asking, “How can I faithfully serve the One who gave everything for me?” The disciples left much, but Jesus promised that their sacrifice would not be wasted. There are three great challenges before us: (i) Surrender your life completely to Christ. (ii) Serve faithfully without demanding immediate recognition. *(iii)* Stand firm when sacrifice becomes difficult. The world may celebrate those who appear to be first. God's kingdom operates differently. The person who quietly serves, humbly gives, faithfully prays, patiently suffers and continues obeying Christ may be accomplishing something of far greater eternal value than the person receiving public applause. Therefore, do not give up because your service is unnoticed. Do not stop serving because your sacrifice is costly. Do not measure God's faithfulness by your immediate circumstances. Your labour for Christ is never wasted. *Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.* (1 Corinthians 15:58) One day, the Lord Himself will reveal what truly mattered. And on that day, the faithful servant will discover that nothing surrendered to Christ was ever truly lost. *1. The Surrender of Sacrificial Discipleship* a. Peter reminded Jesus that the disciples had left their possessions and livelihoods to follow Him. Following Christ involves surrender. Christianity is not merely receiving blessings; it is also yielding our lives to the Lord. We must ask whether Christ truly has first place in our lives. Following Him may require us to surrender habits, relationships, ambitions, possessions, or personal preferences that compete with His will. b. The disciples did not merely admire Jesus; they left their former way of life and continued with Him. Christian commitment is not measured by how enthusiastically we begin, but by how faithfully we continue. *Questions* (i) What am I unwilling to surrender to Christ? (ii) Does my daily lifestyle demonstrate that following Jesus is more important to me than personal comfort? *2. The Reward of Kingdom Service* a. Jesus assured His disciples that their sacrifices would not go unnoticed. Jesus spoke of the future when He would sit on His glorious throne and the disciples would share in His kingdom. Our present service must be viewed in light of eternity. What we sacrifice for Christ now has eternal significance. b. Jesus promised that those who had sacrificed houses, family relationships or possessions for His name would receive abundant blessings. This does not mean that discipleship is a scheme for material prosperity. Rather, Jesus assures His followers that nothing surrendered to Him is ultimately lost. Jesus concludes His promise with: *"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters... for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”* *Questions* (i) Do I serve God for His glory or mainly for recognition and earthly rewards? (ii) When sacrifice becomes difficult, do I remember the eternal reward promised by Christ? *3. The Reversal of Kingdom Standards* a. Jesus concludes with a statement that challenges human ideas about success and reward. Human society often measures greatness through wealth, position, influence, education and recognition. But God's measurement is different. We should not measure our spiritual worth by comparing ourselves with other people. b. God values humble service rather than self-promotion. A disciple should be willing to serve even when nobody applauds, notices or rewards the work. The world's ranking system will not determine the final outcome. God will ultimately reveal the true value of every person's service. *Questions* (i) Do I become discouraged when others receive recognition while my service remains unnoticed? (ii) Am I willing to serve faithfully even when I receive no immediate reward? *Prayer Points* 1. Lord Jesus, help me to surrender every area of my life completely to You and place Your kingdom above my personal interests.🙏 2. Father, give me grace to remain faithful in serving You even when the work is difficult or unnoticed.🙏 3. Lord, deliver me from comparing myself with others and help me to value eternal rewards above temporary recognition.🙏 4. Holy Spirit, remove pride and selfish ambition from my heart and make me a humble servant who seeks God's glory rather than human applause.🙏 *Hymn:* Take My Life and Let It Be *THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* DANIEL 9-10 [22/08, 8:22 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DAILY Ⓜ️ANNA - (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR ADULTS) SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST, 2026``` *BEYOND HUMAN MEASURE* 📓📖🎚️🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽👑🙌🏽 📜📜```TEXT:MATTHEW 19:27-30```📜📜 🔑📖```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first" (MATTHEW 19:29, 30).*_ *Brother Andrew, a humble Dutchman, began smuggling Bibles into communist countries during the _Cold War,_ risking his life to serve believers behind the Iron Curtain. He didn't seek fame; he just obeyed God's quiet call. That small, faithful beginning grew into _Open Doors,_ a global ministry that continues to help persecuted Christians today. Though little known on earth, Andrew is surely honoured in heaven.* *His story perfectly illustrates the timeless principle Jesus lays out in today's passage: that all faithful, sacrificial service done for Him, however hidden or risky, will attract heaven's reward. In the text, Apostle Peter poses a question many believers still echo today: "We have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?" It is a question laced with hope but also with the subtle implication of comparison with others and transaction with God. Considering the context, Peter's question implies that if we have given up much for God, in contrast to the rich young ruler who didn't, surely we are due a proportionate reward. In His answer, Jesus affirms that sacrifice in His name is never forgotten. Certainly, we shall receive astounding rewards, yet He closes with a warning wrapped in a paradox: "But many _that are_ first shall be last; and the last _shall be_ first."* *This final line holds the key to understanding divine reward, not as a salary earned but as a gift bestowed in Sovereign wisdom. God's kingdom does not run on human logic or worldly meritocracy. Instead, it operates based on grace, faithfulness, and sincerity of heart. When we serve God with a mere transactional mind-set, doing in order to receive, we risk missing the heartbeat of discipleship. And to correct this misunderstanding, Jesus immediately follows His statement with the parable of the workers in the vineyard. There, those who worked a full day were shocked to receive the same wages as those hired last. Then Jesus concluded with the same warning: "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen". The point is clear: God's rewards are not based on length of service or human measure, but on His gracious prerogative. Faithfulness, not fame, draws heaven's attention.* *This ought to challenge and comfort us. We are not in competition in God's kingdom. We are simply called to be faithful. Whatever the sacrifice our calling may demand, the measure of our reward is not in the scope of our task but in our fidelity to it. So, as the "prize-giving day" draws near, let us serve with joy, not calculation, remembering that the One who called us is no man's debtor but a just and faithful Rewarder.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*When you serve in silence, heaven echoes your labour with eternal applause.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *DANIEL 9-10*📜📜 Beyond Human Measure https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 54: I AM READY FOR SERVICE; GHS 59: LITTLE IS MUCH WHEN GOD IS IN IT; GHS 62: GO LABOUR ON; AND GHS 89: O JESUS, I HAVE PROMISED* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna23rdAugust2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [22/08, 8:22 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST, 2026``` *ATTITUDE TO WORLD AFFAIRS* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️❤️🌍❌🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:1 JOHN 2:15-17```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. In most cases, the first thing is the most important. For example, in an examination result, the first position is given to the child that scores the highest mark. The first always opens the list for other items to follow. As shown in our Bible passage, the first opens the door for all other benefits to come through. The blessings of God seem to be arranged in a divine, logical order in the lives of God's children. We do not have to rush for the second if we have not yet received the first. Sins (iniquities) block our way to receiving God's many benefits or blessings. Sin must first be removed out of our lives if we want to have God's blessings. For, *"if I regard* (allow) *iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* - and bless me (Psalm 66:18). In our Bible passage, the first benefit stated there is *"forgiveness of sin"*. It is after you have received this first benefit, by turning away from your bad ways, saying sorry to God, and making Jesus your Saviour and friend, that you are qualified to enjoy the other benefits like healing, deliverance, love and mercy of God, provision and long life. *If you desire God's blessings in your life, do the first thing first: repent and turn away from your sins, and the needed blessings will come into your life.* 🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥 ```🅿️rayer:``` _*Lord, I am sorry for every bad thing I have done.   • PROVERB OF THE DAY
    (Proverbs 23)
    1. When you sit down to eat with a ruler,
    Consider carefully what is before you;
    2. And put a knife to your throat
    If you are a man given to appetite.
    3. Do not desire his delicacies,
    For they are deceptive food.
    4. Do not overwork to be rich;
    Because of your own understanding, cease!
    5. Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
    For riches certainly make themselves wings;
    They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.
    6. Do not eat the bread of a miser,
    Nor desire his delicacies;
    7. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
    “Eat and drink!” he says to you,
    But his heart is not with you.
    8. The morsel you have eaten, you will vomit up,
    And waste your pleasant words.
    9. Do not speak in the hearing of a fool,
    For he will despise the wisdom of your words.
    10. Do not remove the ancient landmark,
    Nor enter the fields of the fatherless;
    11. For their Redeemer is mighty;
    He will plead their cause against you.
    12. Apply your heart to instruction,
    And your ears to words of knowledge.
    13. Do not withhold correction from a child,
    For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die.
    14. You shall beat him with a rod,
    And deliver his soul from hell.
    15. My son, if your heart is wise,
    My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself;
    16. Yes, my inmost being will rejoice
    When your lips speak right things.
    17. Do not let your heart envy sinners,
    But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day;
    18. For surely there is a hereafter,
    And your hope will not be cut off.
    19. Hear, my son, and be wise;
    And guide your heart in the way.
    20. Do not mix with winebibbers,
    Or with gluttonous eaters of meat;
    21. For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty,
    And drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.
    22. Listen to your father who begot you,
    And do not despise your mother when she is old.
    23. Buy the truth, and do not sell it,
    Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.
    24. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
    And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.
    25. Let your father and your mother be glad,
    And let her who bore you rejoice.
    26. My son, give me your heart,
    And let your eyes observe my ways.
    27. For a harlot is a deep pit,
    And a seductress is a narrow well.
    28. She also lies in wait as for a victim,
    And increases the unfaithful among men.
    29. Who has woe?
    Who has sorrow?
    Who has contentions?
    Who has complaints?
    Who has wounds without cause?
    Who has redness of eyes?
    30. Those who linger long at the wine,
    Those who go in search of mixed wine.
    31. Do not look on the wine when it is red,
    When it sparkles in the cup,
    When it swirls around smoothly;
    32. At the last it bites like a serpent,
    And stings like a viper.
    33. Your eyes will see strange things,
    And your heart will utter perverse things.
    34. Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea,
    Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying:
    35. “They have struck me, but I was not hurt;
    They have beaten me, but I did not feel it.
    When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink?”
  • A brotherhood that tested every piece of my soul in combat never prepared me for the pain of having my family stuck in limbo.
    My name is Jesse Preston. I spent 14 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army, Airborne and Air Assault qualified. I served three combat tours in Iraq between 2003 and 2010, and a tour in South Korea in 2007. I bled, sacrificed, and gave over a decade of my life in service to the United States because I believed in honor, loyalty, and standing up for what is right.
    Now, I am fighting the hardest battle of my life—and it isn’t on a battlefield. It’s for my own family.
    Since November 2023, I have been living abroad because I refuse to abandon my wife, Miheret Beksissa, and our baby daughter, Jessica. Imagine if I had listened to the system and waited back home in America alone, staring at an empty nursery, thousands of miles away from my infant child and the woman God gave me to protect. A combat veteran doesn’t leave his family behind.
    We did everything right. We followed every single law. We poured our hard-earned money—over $4,000 just to begin the I-130 and DS-260 with our lawyer, paid every required government fee, and paid another $1,500 for our daughter’s CRBA and U.S. passport. Jessica is a U.S. citizen. Miheret was approved for her immigrant visa through our marriage.
    Our journey started in January 2024, and we were so close to coming home. But because immigrant visas for Ethiopians were paused under the current administration policy, our life is on hold. The process is dragging out indefinitely, leaving us stranded in uncertainty.
    We are devout, faithful Christians who just want to raise our daughter in the country I wore the uniform to defend. Every day, I look at my daughter and my wife, and my heart breaks knowing that the very system I served is keeping us from starting our life together on American soil.
    Please, brothers and sisters, pray for us. Pray that the doors are opened, that red tape is cut, and that our family can finally go home to America together. If this touches your heart, please share our story.
    Pray for us!
  • TRUE LIVING TESTIMONY OF A MUSLIM UNBELIEVER CONVERTED TO NEW FAITH IN CHRIST IN UGANDA OCCURING ON 1st AUGUST 2025, LAST YEAR Abt ( sheikh uthman's vision).. made Him to Converted TO NEW Faith , new CREATION in Christ Jesus.
    Joel2:28-31, Acts 2:17
    First to note fellow Muslims, God in mentioned verses prophesied that in last days.. will pour out his spirit on all FLESH, Regardless language, tribes, cultures, nations &religions . Simply to let endtimes people do His will & know who as true God to worship in truth.
    This prophesy begun at pentecostal day.. start of early church & they spoke in tongues ( out pour of God's spirit)& noticed that Last days had begun. Continued from then with visions eg apostle Paul persecutor of the early church got a Heavenly vision of Jesus, ACTS26:19, & led to His conversion to Christ. & Upto now Visions l saw after vanished eg RED 7, vision in sky, GREEN 7, vision on the wall and skeleton visions. And last year vision received by unbeliever sheikh uthman's vision in Regardless nations, religions, tribes, language. Joel 2:28-31, and bible says these won't skip but will come to pass all before end comes.
    Read:
    STORY REFERENCE TO THIS OF.. Sheikh Wambuzi Maka Uthman, a 39-year-old former Islamic teacher (sheikh) from Mayuge District in eastern Uganda, who converted to Christianity after experiencing a profound vision of Jesus Christ inside a local mosque in August 2025.
    The Vision in the Mosque
    The Date: August 1, 2025, following regular Friday afternoon prayers.
    The Event: Uthman stayed behind to rest and fell asleep in a corner of the mosque.
    The Encounter: He saw a figure dressed in white, long clothing, surrounded by four angels.
    The Message: The figure called out his name, "Uthman, Uthman, Uthman," three times. Overwhelmed with fear, Uthman knelt down and worshipped Him.
    The figure instructed him to go to his people and tell them to repent and turn to the living God.
    Understanding the Encounter
    Leaving the mosque around 5 p.m., Uthman met a local church pastor and shared the message of repentance.
    Through the pastor's guidance, Uthman came to understand that the figure in his vision was Jesus (Isa) calling him and others to faith.
    Aftermath and Persecution
    Sharing the Faith: Beginning August 4, Uthman began sharing his experience and message about Christ with his family and neighbors.
    Family and Community Backlash: His relatives strongly rejected his conversion, viewing it as a betrayal of Islam. Family members and local relatives beat him severely, demolished his home, and took his wife and six children to live with other relatives.
    Escape and Recovery:
    Uthman narrowly escaped through a thick bush to a Christian neighbor's house, who rushed him to a hospital in Mayuge town where he was treated for his injuries before relocating for his safety.
  • SERMON: GOD IS SPEAKING THROUGH HIS SON NOW IN THIS LAST AGE - TO ALL FLESH
    Text: Hebrews 1:1-2, Acts 2:17
    Hebrews 1:1-2 — “Long ago God spoke by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.”
    Acts 2:17 — “In the last days... I will pour out my Spirit on ALL FLESH... your young men shall see visions.”
    Brothers and sisters, the last days began on Pentecost Day. Acts 2:1-4
    Pentecost came 1-4 years BEFORE Paul's conversion. So Paul's vision in Acts 9 was already a last-days vision. That proves God still gives visions today.
    We are now in that same last age, and God is still speaking through His Son in two ways:
    1. Through Visions - Red 7, Green 7, Skeleton
    God showed His servant Kasule Reagan visions - Red 7 in the sky, Green 7 on the wall, Skeleton visions that vanished. The message: Time is complete, choose Life or Death. Matt 25:46
    2. Through Personal Appearance of the Son - Sheikh Uthman Wambuzi
    THE PROOF TO UNBELIEVERS:
    This is a true story from our own nation, Uganda.
    Sheikh Wambuzi Maka Uthman, 39 years, a former Islamic teacher from Mayuge District, Eastern Uganda.
    Date: August 1, 2025, after Friday prayers. He stayed to rest in a corner of the mosque and fell asleep.
    He saw a figure dressed in white, long clothing, surrounded by four angels. The figure called his name three times: “Uthman, Uthman, Uthman.”
    Overwhelmed with fear, Uthman knelt down and worshipped Him. The figure instructed him: “Go to your people and tell them to repent and turn to the living God.”
    Leaving the mosque around 5 p.m., he met a church pastor and shared the message of repentance. Through the pastor's guidance, Uthman understood the figure was Jesus (Isa) calling him and others to faith.
    When he obeyed, from August 4, 2025, persecution came. His relatives viewed it as betrayal. They beat him severely, demolished his home, and took his wife and six children. He narrowly escaped through a thick bush to a Christian neighbor, who rushed him to a hospital in Mayuge town. [Source: christiandaily.com]
    Why would a respected Sheikh lose everything for a lie? He saw the son. Mark 9:3, Luke 9:29, matt28:3
    This is Acts 26:16-18 happening again:
    “I have appeared to you to appoint you as servant and witness... to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.”
    3. TO ALL FLESH - REGARDLESS OF TRIBE, NATION, LANGUAGE, CULTURE, RELIGION
    This is the key. Acts 2:17 says ALL FLESH.
    Acts 10:34-35 — God shows no partiality, in every nation.
    Revelation 5:9 — Jesus ransomed people from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
    Revelation 7:9 — A multitude no one can number, from all nations.
    God poured His Spirit on a Christian youth in Kampala with visions, and on a Muslim Sheikh in a mosque in Mayuge with a personal appearance. Same Spirit. Same Jesus. Same message.
    THE MESSAGE FOR THIS LAST AGE:
    God is alarming us: Spiritual awakening, renewal, revival, repentance, and obedience.
    John 8:12 — Jesus says “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
    John 3:16 — Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
    Matt 25:46 — The choice is eternal life or eternal punishment.
    Proverbs 29:18 — “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Without hearing what God is showing now, people will perish in sin/darkness.
    2 Peter 3:9 — “The Lord is not slow... but is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
    FINAL CALL: BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
    Hebrews 3:15 — “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
    Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision awaits its appointed time, it will surely come.
    Sheikh Uthman heard his name called. You are hearing your name called today.
    God is speaking through His Son NOW to all nations. Will you embrace His will through faith in Christ and be saved?
    If you refuse, you will perish in sin.
    Prayer:
    Lord Jesus, Son of God who came to destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8, open our eyes. We repent.
  • Am Reagan a servant & winesss of Jesus in these last days. Listen what the son speaks to last days people now. Heb1:1-2, acts26:16, joel2:28, john2:17
    Question:
    1. WHICH CAME FIRST: PENTECOST OR PAUL'S CONVERSION?
    The Day of Pentecost came first.
    Pentecost: Acts 2:1-4 — About 30-33 AD. This is when the Holy Spirit came down.
    Peter stood and said: Acts 2:16-17 — “But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: ‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh... and your young men shall see visions’”
    Paul’s conversion: Acts 9:3-6 — About 34-36 AD. Roughly 1 to 4 years AFTER Pentecost.
    So Peter declared the last days had begun on Pentecost Day. Paul's vision came AFTER the last days had already begun.
    2. WHY THIS MATTERS FOR THE VISIONS — RED 7, GREEN 7, SKELETON, I SAW AFTER VANISHED.
    Because Pentecost was first, then Paul's vision, it proves this:
    Acts 2:17 did not stop at Pentecost. Paul's vision in Acts 9 and Acts 26:16 — “I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness” — is proof that visions are counted in the last days.
    That means:
    If Paul could see a vision AFTER Pentecost and it was counted as part of Acts 2:17,
    Then the visions Red 7 in the sky, Green 7 on the wall, and the Skeleton visions that vanished afterwards are ALSO counted as part of Acts 2:17.
    The Bible says Acts 2:17 says visions shall STILL happen up to now in these last days.
    Hebrews 1:2 — “but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son” — God still speaks by visions, by His Son.
    Joel 2:28 = Acts 2:17 — It is for now. It has not ended.
    3. THE CONFIRMATION I SAW IN THE SEARCH WITH THE WORD
    Shows this correctly:
    “The Day of Pentecost came first”
    The last days began at Pentecost, and Paul’s vision was inside the last days. So are here today we live.
    SUMMARY FOR THIS AS A WITNESS:
    Last days began on Pentecost Day - Acts 2:17
    Pentecost came 1-4 years BEFORE Paul's conversion
    Therefore Paul's vision counts as a last-days vision
    Therefore THE visions Red 7, Green 7, Skeleton also count as last-days visions that God still gives now - Acts 2:17 still happening
    Am a servant and witness of Jesus.whom Christ appointed to testify to what l have seen him through the visions l saw like Paul. Acts 26:16, with visions message that those in darkness their get opened. and alarm spiritual awakening,renewal, revival, repentance and obedience to word/commandments to have life. matt25:46, john8:12, acts26:16& you last age don't perish in sin/ darkness. proverbs 29:18
    I saw what God showed me through his son as visions l saw in these last days. calling me to testify that l have seen him.
    Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision awaits its appointed time, it will surely come.
  • The Faith of our Fathers
    What Does it Mean to Have the "Faith of Our Fathers"?
    When we open Hebrews 11 often called God’s "Hall of Faith" we aren't just reading ancient history. We are looking at a masterclass on how to walk with God in a hostile world.
    Looking closely at Hebrews 11:23–28, we see the faith of Moses and his parents. Their lives reveal 3 core characteristics of real faith and an actionable model we can live by today: S.E.E.F.
    Let’s dive deep into what God’s Word teaches us!
    Characteristics of the Faith of Our Fathers
    1. A Faith That Protects (v. 23)
    "By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents..."
    True faith doesn't throw up its hands in fear when society or government laws contradict God. Moses’ parents (Amram and Jochebed) faced a decree from Pharaoh to kill all male babies. Yet, their faith drove them to protect what God had entrusted to them.
    Application: Faith acts as a shield over our families, our calling, and our spiritual lives against the enemy’s attacks.
    2. A Perceiving Faith (v. 23)
    "...because they saw he was a beautiful [proper/special] child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command."
    Physical eyes only see problems; eyes of faith perceive God’s divine purpose. Moses’ parents didn't just see a newborn baby—they perceived by faith that God had a specific destiny for his life. This perception cast out their fear of Pharaoh.
    Application: Faith gives you spiritual vision to see God's plan hidden inside difficult circumstances.
    3. A Faith That Perseveres (v. 24)
    "By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter..."
    Notice that Moses' faith matured as he grew up. He didn't just rely on his parents' religion; he developed a personal, enduring faith that stood the test of time and temptation.
    Application: Real faith lasts. It carries you through childhood into adulthood, through changing seasons, and through life's trials.
    The Faith of Moses — The "S.E.E.F." Model
    Moses' life gives us a 4-step blueprint for walking in victorious faith:
    S — Self-denying Faith (v. 24–25)
    Moses gave up royal status, boundless wealth, and the top position in Egypt. Why? Because faith chooses to suffer with God’s people rather than enjoy the short-lived pleasures of sin.
    True faith knows when to say "NO" to the world so it can say "YES" to God.
    E — Expectant Faith (v. 26)
    "...esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward."
    • Moses wasn't focused on what he was losing in Egypt; he was focused on what God promised in eternity. Expectant faith keeps its eyes on God's ultimate reward, making present sacrifices feel small.
    Faith measures value by eternity, not by worldly success.
    E — Enduring Faith (v.27)
    "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible."
    Moses faced the rage of the most powerful ruler on Earth, yet he stood firm. How? Because he saw the invisible God as more real than the visible king.
    When you can "see" the Invisible God, you can endure any visible trial.
    F — Faith in God’s Message of Salvation (v. 28–29)
    Moses kept the Passover and applied the blood of the lamb so that the destroyer would not touch Israel. He led the people through the Red Sea by trusting God's word.
    Ultimate faith always anchors itself in God’s plan of salvation through the Blood of the Lamb!
    PERSONAL REFLECTION:
    Faith isn't passive, it protects, perceives, perseveres, denies self, expects God's best, endures hardship, and rests in Salvation.
    Which of these area(s) is God challenging you to grow in this week?
Model Moses' life gives us a 4-step blueprint for walking in victorious faith: S — Self-denying Faith (v. 24–25) Moses gave up royal status, boundless wealth, and the top position in Egypt. Why? Because faith chooses to suffer with God’s people rather than enjoy the short-lived pleasures of sin. True faith knows when to say "NO" to the world so it can say "YES" to God. E — Expectant Faith (v. 26) "...esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward." • Moses wasn't focused on what he was losing in Egypt; he was focused on what God promised in eternity. Expectant faith keeps its eyes on God's ultimate reward, making present sacrifices feel small. Faith measures value by eternity, not by worldly success. E — Enduring Faith (v.27) "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible." Moses faced the rage of the most powerful ruler on Earth, yet he stood firm. How? Because he saw the invisible God as more real than the visible king. When you can "see" the Invisible God, you can endure any visible trial. F — Faith in God’s Message of Salvation (v. 28–29) Moses kept the Passover and applied the blood of the lamb so that the destroyer would not touch Israel. He led the people through the Red Sea by trusting God's word. Ultimate faith always anchors itself in God’s plan of salvation through the Blood of the Lamb! PERSONAL REFLECTION: Faith isn't passive, it protects, perceives, perseveres, denies self, expects God's best, endures hardship, and rests in Salvation.   • SERMON TITLE: "HEAR THE SON IN THE LAST AGE"
    Text: Hebrews 1:1-2, Acts 2:17, Joel 2:28-31
    INTRODUCTION: THE TIME WE ARE IN
    Brothers and Sisters, we are not guessing. We are in THE LAST DAYS.
    Hebrews 1:2 — “but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son”
    Acts 2:17 — “And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh... and your young men shall see visions”
    God promised visions in the last days. And He is doing it.
    I myself was shown 3 things: A RED 7 IN THE SKY, A GREEN 7 ON THE WALL, AND A SKELETON.
    But hear me: I’m not here to make you stare at visions. I’m here as REAGAN a servant& a witness of Jesus to do 2 things: Feed His sheep with truth. Testify to what I have seen Him do Acts 26:16
    The goal of every vision is this: To bring you back to THE SON. John 3:30
    POINT 1: SPIRITUAL AWAKENING - GOD IS SPEAKING NOW Joel 2:28-29
    “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh”
    We are in Pentecost season. The Spirit is being poured.
    God is waking people up through dreams, visions, and His Word.
    Why? Proverbs 29:18 — “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint”
    When God stops speaking, people go wild. But God IS speaking.
    THE 3 VISIONS I SAW - GOD’S WARNING:
    RED 7 IN THE SKY - The Blood of Jesus. The work is finished. Time is short. Hebrews 9:12
    GREEN 7 ON THE WALL - Life from the Spirit. God wants to restore His house. Ezekiel 37:9
    SKELETON - What’s left when we ignore the Son. Death. Dry bones. Ezekiel 37:11
    Application: Don’t chase the sign. HEAR THE SON. Hebrews 1:2
    -
    POINT 2: SPIRITUAL RENEWAL + REVIVAL - COME BACK TO THE WORD Joel 2:29, Psalm 51:10
    Revival is not hype. It’s not noise.
    Revival is when the Spirit brings us back to Jesus and to the Word. John 15:26
    2 Chronicles 7:14 — “If my people... turn from their wicked ways, then I will heal their land.”
    The Spirit was poured at Pentecost to make us like Jesus, not to make us famous.
    Ask God today: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10
    ---
    POINT 3: REPENTANCE + OBEDIENCE = LIFE + PURITY BEFORE GOD Acts 3:19, John 14:23, 1 Peter 1:15-16
    “The day is near. So what do we do?”
    A. REPENT Acts 3:19 — “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out”
    Turn away from darkness. Turn to the Light.
    B. OBEY HIS WORD/COMMANDMENTS John 14:23 — “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word”
    Love is not a feeling. Love is obedience.
    C. BE HOLY / BE PURE 1 Peter 1:15-16 — “as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct”
    Why? Because we serve a Holy God. And Jesus is coming for a pure bride. Ephesians 5:26-27
    THE PROMISE: John 10:10 — “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”
    Obedience brings LIFE. Disobedience brings SKELETON.
    ---
    WARNING: DON'T MISS JESUS IN THE VISIONS Matthew 24:24, 1 John 4:1
    The enemy also gives signs. Matthew 24:24
    Test every vision: Does it lead you to Jesus? To the Cross? To Holiness? To the Word?
    My vision was not to glorify me. John 3:30 — “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
    If a vision doesn’t make you love Jesus and obey His Word more, throw it away.
    ---
    CONCLUSION + ALTAR CALL: CHOOSE LIFE TODAY Deuteronomy 30:19, Matthew 24:44
    Church, the Red 7 says: THE BLOOD IS STILL SPEAKING. Hebrews 12:24
    The Green 7 says: THE SPIRIT IS STILL POURING. Acts 2:17
    The Skeleton says: WITHOUT THE SON, WE ARE DEAD. Ephesians 2:1
    Today God is saying:
    WAKE UP - Spiritual Awakening Romans 13:11
    CLEAN UP - Renewal + Repentance Psalm 51:10
    LINE UP - Obedience to the Word John 14:23
    SHOW UP - Holy and Pure for Jesus 1 Peter 1:16
    “We wait for Jesus not by watching the sky, but by washing in the Word and walking in obedience.” Ephesians 5:26
