Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, praising You for the gift of a new day and the blessing of Your creation. On this Sunday, a day of rest and worship, we ask that You fill our hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, refresh our spirits and renew our strength for the week ahead. Teach us to love one another as You have loved us, to walk in kindness, and to be a light of hope in a world that so deeply needs Your grace. Forgive us our shortcomings, guide our steps, and help us to seek Your truth in all that we do.
May Your love unite us, Your wisdom direct us, and Your presence abide with us and our families today and always.
In Jesus' name, we pray.

Easter Outreach Program

This Easter, by God’s grace, we provided food packages to 35 families in need. We thank God for the opportunity to serve these families and share the love of Jesus Christ with them.

KING CYRUS is the primary Persian king who saved the Jewish people in the Bible by ending their exile and allowing them to return to Jerusalem to rebuild their temple. An alternative biblical rescue from genocide under Persian rule is associated with King Xerxes, whose Jewish wife Queen Esther intervened to save the Jews from Haman's plot. Cyrus conquered Babylon and ended the 70-year Jewish captivity. Recorded in the Book of Ezra and 2 Chronicles, Cyrus issued a royal proclamation allowing exiled Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the House of God. He ordered the return of sacred gold and silver temple vessels that had been stolen by Nebuchadnezzar.
