  • The Virtuous Wife as the Church and the Husband as Christ
    Proverbs 31:10–31

    A Theological Expository Study
    Important Note: Proverbs 31:10–31

primarily describes a godly woman and godly wife.

However, throughout Scripture, marriage is also a picture of the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-32).

Therefore, we can make a typological and spiritual application of this passage to the Church, while preserving its original meaning.

    > "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church." (Ephesians 5:23)
    ---

    Verse 10
    > "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."

    Literal Meaning
A godly wife is rare and precious.

    Christ and the Church

Christ purchased His Church with His own blood.

    > "Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things... But with the precious blood of Christ." (1 Peter 1:18-19)

The Church is precious in His sight.
    > "Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it." (Ephesians 5:25)

The Church's value does not come from herself but from Christ's redeeming love.
    ---

    Verse 11
    > "The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her."

    Spiritual Application:
Christ entrusts His Gospel ministry to His Church.

    > "As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you." (John 20:21)

The faithful Church becomes a trustworthy steward of God's mysteries.

    > "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." (1 Corin 4:2)
    ---

    Verse 12
    > "She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life."

The true Church seeks Christ's glory.

    > "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

The Church's purpose is to honor her Bridegroom.
    ---

    Verses 13-19
    > She seeketh wool and flax... she worketh willingly...

    Spiritual Meaning
    The Church is not idle.
She serves, labors, ministers, evangelizes, disciples, and prays.

    > "Always abounding in the work of the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:58)

    > "We are labourers together with
    God." (1 Corinthians 3:9)

The Bride is busy preparing herself for the coming of Christ.
    ---

    Verse 20
    > "She stretcheth out her hand to the poor."
    The Church reflects Christ's compassion.

    > "Pure religion and undefiled before God...
To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction." (James 1:27)

A true Church ministers to the needy.
    ---

    Verse 21
    > "She is not afraid of the snow for her household."

The faithful Church does not fear tribulation.

    > "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

Because Christ provides spiritual covering and protection.
    ---

    Verse 22
    > "She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple."

    Spiritual Symbolism
The Church is clothed in Christ's righteousness.

    > "He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation." (Isaiah 61:10)

    > "That she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white." (Reve 19:8)

    Her beauty comes from grace.
    ---

    Verse 23
    > "Her husband is known in the gates."

    Christ Exalted

Because of the Church's witness, Christ is proclaimed among the nations.

    > "God also hath highly exalted him." (Philippians 2:9)

The Church's mission is to make Christ known.
    ---

She shares the Gospel to the world.
    ---

    Verse 25
    > "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come."

    The Church possesses spiritual strength.

    > "Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." (Ephesians 6:10)

She rejoices because she awaits Christ's return.

    > "Looking for that blessed hope." (Titus 2:13)
    ---
    Verse 26
    > "She openeth her mouth with wisdom."

    The Church proclaims God's truth.

    > "Preach the word." (2 Timothy 4:2)
Wisdom and grace should characterize her speech.
    ---

    Verse 27
    > "She looketh well to the ways of her household."

    > "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock." (Acts 20:28)

She guards doctrine and disciples believers.
    ---

    Verse 28
    > "Her children arise up, and call her blessed."

    Spiritual Application

Believers nurtured by the Church become mature disciples.

    > "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." (3 John 4)
    ---

    Verse 29
    > "Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all."

    Christ delights in His Bride

    > "A glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle." (Ephesians 5:27)

The Church is unique because she belongs to Christ.
    ---

    Verse 30
    > "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."

    Central Truth

The Church's greatest beauty is not numbers, wealth, buildings, or influence.

It is the fear of God.

    > "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom." (Prov 9:10)

A church that fears God pleases Christ.
    ---

    Verse 31
    > "Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

    Final Fulfillment

One day Christ will reward His faithful Church.

    > "Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me." (Reve 22:12)

  • “Set a Guard Over My Mouth”

A Deep Spiritual Message from Psalm 141:3

«“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”
    — Psalm 141:3»

The mouth is one of the smallest members of the body, yet it has the power to build or destroy lives, relationships, ministries, and destinies. David understood this truth deeply. That is why he prayed, not merely for blessings or victory, but for control over his speech.

This verse is not just about avoiding bad words. It is a prayer for holiness, wisdom, humility, self-control, and spiritual maturity.

    ---

    1. The Mouth Reveals the Condition of the Heart

    Jesus said:

«“For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
    — Matthew 12:34»

Words are the mirror of the inner man. Angry words reveal hidden anger. Proud speech reveals pride. Bitter speech reveals woundedness. Faith-filled speech reveals trust in God.

David did not say, “Lord, change my words only.”
He prayed, “Set a guard over my mouth,” because he knew the mouth becomes dangerous when the heart is not surrendered to God.

A guarded mouth begins with a guarded heart.

«“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
    — Proverbs 4:23»

    ---

    2. The Tongue Has the Power of Life and Death

    The Bible says:

«“The tongue has the power of life and death.”
    — Proverbs 18:21»

    A single word can:

    - Heal a broken soul
    - Destroy a family
    - Encourage a servant of God
    - Discourage a believer
    - Start a war
    - Restore peace

Many people have scars not from weapons, but from words.

    That is why David cried:

«“Lord, stand as a guard at the door of my lips.”»

He recognized that without God’s help, human speech easily becomes sinful.

    ---

    3. Why Do We Need a Guard Over Our Mouth?

    A. Because Words Can Lead Us Into Sin

«“Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.”
    — Proverbs 21:23»

    Many sins begin with speech:

    - Gossip
    - Lying
    - Slander
    - Pride
    - Anger
    - False promises
    - Complaining
    - Cursing
    - Divisive speech

A careless mouth can destroy years of testimony.

    James explains:

«“No human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.”
    — James 3:8»

This is why self-effort alone is not enough. We need divine help.

    ---

    B. Because Spiritual Maturity Is Seen in Speech

«“Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.”
    — James 3:2»

The maturity of a believer is revealed more by speech than by appearance.

    A truly spiritual person:

    - Knows when to speak
    - Knows when to remain silent
    - Speaks truth with love
    - Does not use words to wound others

Even Jesus remained silent before His accusers.

«“He did not open his mouth.”
    — Isaiah 53:7»

Silence at the right moment is also spiritual wisdom.

    ---

    4. The “Door” of the Lips

    David uses an interesting expression:

«“Keep watch over the door of my lips.”»

A door controls what enters and what exits.

Spiritually, our lips should have divine security.

Before words leave our mouth, they should pass through these questions:

    - Is it true?
    - Is it necessary?
    - Is it loving?
    - Will it glorify God?
    - Will it help or destroy?

Many believers pray for miracles, but few pray for sanctified speech.

Yet Isaiah saw the holiness of God and immediately became aware of his lips.

«“Woe to me!... I am a man of unclean lips.”
    — Isaiah 6:5»

Revival often begins with purified speech.

    ---

    5. Words Can Either Build or Destroy

    Destructive Speech

    The Bible warns against:

    - Angry words
    «Proverbs 15:1»
    - Gossip
    «Proverbs 16:28»
    - Corrupt communication
    «Ephesians 4:29»
    - Complaining
    «Philippians 2:14»

    Negative speech spreads spiritual poison.

    ---

    Life-Giving Speech

    God desires our words to:

    - Encourage
    - Comfort
    - Teach truth
    - Heal wounds
    - Bring peace
    - Glorify Christ

«“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”
    — Proverbs 16:24»

A believer’s mouth should become a channel of grace.

    ---

    6. Jesus and the Sanctified Mouth

    Jesus spoke:

    - Truth with authority
    - Compassion to sinners
    - Wisdom to the confused
    - Grace to the broken

Even on the cross, He said:

    «“Father, forgive them.”
    — Luke 23:34»

The mouth surrendered to God becomes a weapon for righteousness.

    ---

    7. Practical Ways to Guard Our Mouth

    A. Pray Before Speaking

David first prayed before he corrected himself.

Prayer invites the Holy Spirit into our conversations.

    ---

    B. Be Slow to Speak

«“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
    — James 1:19»

Many wounds could be avoided by delayed speech.

    ---

    C. Fill the Heart with God’s Word

When the heart is filled with Scripture, the mouth begins to speak life.

«“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.”
    — Colossians 3:16»

    ---

    D. Submit Speech to the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit not only changes actions but also transforms speech.

    ---

    8. A Warning for the Last Days

The Bible teaches that in the last days:

    - People will become abusive
    - Slanderous
    - Proud
    - Unloving

    (2 Timothy 3:1–5)

One mark of true Christianity in a corrupt generation is holy speech.

    ---

    9. Final Spiritual Truth

David was a king, warrior, and worshipper, yet he still feared the danger of an uncontrolled tongue.

    This teaches us:

    - No believer is beyond this struggle
    - Spiritual people also need daily guarding
    - Victory over the tongue comes through surrender to God

The mouth that praises God on Sunday must not destroy people on Monday.

    ---

    Conclusion

Psalm 141:3 is a prayer of humility:

«“Lord, I cannot control my tongue without You.”»

The believer who allows God to guard his mouth will:

    - Avoid many sins
    - Preserve relationships
    - Protect his testimony
    - Reflect Christ
    - Become spiritually mature

    May our prayer daily become:

«“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”»

    Amen.

  • "The fruit of the Spirit" and "The fruit of Righteousness"

This is a very thoughtful question. Many Christians read about "the fruit of the Spirit" and "the fruit of righteousness" without noticing the difference between them.

    1. The Fruit of the Spirit
    The key text is:
    > "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance..." — Galatians 5:22-23
Notice Paul says "fruit" (singular), not "fruits" (plural).

Many Bible teachers understand this to mean that the Holy Spirit produces one fruit with many qualities.

** Love is the primary fruit
God is love (1 John 4:8). When the Holy Spirit fills a believer, He produces Christ's character, and the chief characteristic is love.

The other qualities can be seen as manifestations or expressions of that love:
    -- Love rejoices → Joy
-- Love rests in God → Peace
-- Love endures people → Patience (Longsuffering)
-- Love treats others tenderly → Kindness
-- Love acts for others' benefit → Goodness
-- Love remains loyal → Faithfulness
-- Love is humble → Meekness
    -- Love controls selfish desires → Self-control
-- This understanding agrees well with Paul's teaching that:
    > "The greatest of these is love." — 1 Corinthians 13:13

    And:
    > "Love is the fulfillment of the law." — Romans 13:10
Therefore, love is the root, and joy, peace, patience, etc., are the visible expressions of that Spirit-produced love.

    ---
    2. The Fruit of Righteousness
The fruit of righteousness is different.

    Scripture says:
    > "The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace." — James 3:18

    And:
    > "Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ..." — Philippians 1:11

    What is righteousness?
Righteousness means being in a right relationship with God and doing right and living according to His will.

When a believer walks in righteousness, certain results appear in life.
    The fruits of righteousness include:
    -- Holy conduct
    -- Obedience
    -- Good works
    --Justice
    -- Mercy
    -- Truthfulness
    -- Purity
    -- Godly speech
    -- Compassion
These are the outward evidences of a righteous life.

    Jesus taught:
    > "By their fruits ye shall know them." — Matthew 7:16
The fruit of righteousness is therefore the visible evidence that a person is walking with God.

    ---
    3. The Relationship Between the Two
Think of it like a tree:
    ** Root
    -- The Holy Spirit

    ** Fruit
-- Love (Fruit of the Spirit)

    ** Expressions
-- Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness, Self-control

    **++ Result in Daily Life
-- Righteous actions, obedience, holiness, good works,

    *** This becomes
    -- The Fruit of Righteousness

    In other words:
The Fruit of the Spirit describes the inner character that the Holy Spirit produces.

The Fruit of Righteousness describes the outward life and works that flow from that transformed character.

    Jesus said:
    > "Abide in me...
He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit." — John 15:4-5

When we abide in Christ, the Spirit produces love within us, and that love expresses itself through joy, peace, patience, and all the other graces, resulting in a life filled with the fruits of righteousness.

    Simple Summary
    1. Fruit of the Spirit # Fruit of Righteousness
    2. Inner character produced by the Holy Spirit --- Outward evidence of a righteous life
    3. Rooted in love --- Seen in holy living and good works
    4. Galatians 5:22-23 --- Philip 1:11, James 3:18
    5. What we become --- How we live
Christ's nature in us --- Christ's life through us.

So your observation is very close to a biblical understanding:
Love is the central fruit produced by the Holy Spirit, and joy, peace, patience, kindness, and the rest are its expressions.

As that Spirit-produced love governs our lives, it bears the fruit of righteousness in our conduct and works.
    Rev. Appan Ramanathan
"The fruit of the Spirit" and "The fruit of Righteousness" This is a very thoughtful question. Many Christians read about "the fruit of the Spirit" and "the fruit of righteousness" without noticing the difference between them. 1. The Fruit of the Spirit The key text is: > "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance..." — Galatians 5:22-23 Notice Paul says "fruit" (singular), not "fruits" (plural). Many Bible teachers understand this to mean that the Holy Spirit produces one fruit with many qualities. ** Love is the primary fruit God is love (1 John 4:8). When the Holy Spirit fills a believer, He produces Christ's character, and the chief characteristic is love. The other qualities can be seen as manifestations or expressions of that love: -- Love rejoices → Joy -- Love rests in God → Peace -- Love endures people → Patience (Longsuffering) -- Love treats others tenderly → Kindness -- Love acts for others' benefit → Goodness -- Love remains loyal → Faithfulness -- Love is humble → Meekness -- Love controls selfish desires → Self-control -- This understanding agrees well with Paul's teaching that: > "The greatest of these is love." — 1 Corinthians 13:13 And: > "Love is the fulfillment of the law." — Romans 13:10 Therefore, love is the root, and joy, peace, patience, etc., are the visible expressions of that Spirit-produced love. --- 2. The Fruit of Righteousness The fruit of righteousness is different. Scripture says: > "The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace." — James 3:18 And: > "Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ..." — Philippians 1:11 What is righteousness? Righteousness means being in a right relationship with God and doing right and living according to His will. When a believer walks in righteousness, certain results appear in life. The Relationship Between the Two Think of it like a tree: ** Root -- The Holy Spirit ↓ ** Fruit -- Love (Fruit of the Spirit) ↓ ** Expressions -- Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness, Self-control ↓ **++ Result in Daily Life -- Righteous actions, obedience, holiness, good works, ↓ *** This becomes -- The Fruit of Righteousness In other words: The Fruit of the Spirit describes the inner character that the Holy Spirit produces. • THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE

“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”

    — John 3:3

    Introduction

One of the greatest truths in Christianity is the experience of being “Born Again.”

Christianity is not merely a religion, tradition, church membership, or moral lifestyle.

It is a supernatural transformation performed by God in the heart of a sinner.

Many people know about God intellectually, but they have never experienced spiritual rebirth. Jesus made it very clear to Nicodemus that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born again.

«“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
    — John 3:3»

    ---

    1. WHY MUST A PERSON BE BORN AGAIN?

    A. Because mankind is spiritually dead

The Bible teaches that humanity is not merely weak or imperfect — But the man is spiritually dead because of sin.

«“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.”
    — Ephesians 2:1»

Adam’s fall brought spiritual death upon all mankind.

«“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin…”
    — Romans 5:12»

A dead spirit cannot fellowship with a holy God. Therefore, man does not need mere improvement; he needs a new life.

    ---

    B. Human righteousness cannot save

Good works, religious traditions, rituals, and morality cannot produce the new birth.

«“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…”
    — Titus 3:5»

    A person may:

    - Attend church
    - Pray regularly
    - Read the Bible
    - Give offerings

Yet still remain spiritually dead if they have never experienced regeneration.

    ---

    2. WHAT DOES “BORN AGAIN” MEAN?

    The phrase “Born Again” means:

    - Spiritual rebirth
    - Regeneration
    - Becoming a new creation
    - Receiving the life of God within

It is not the reformation of the old nature; it is the Total creation of a new nature.

«“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
    — 2 Corinthians 5:17»

When a person is born physically, they receive earthly life.
When a person is born spiritually, they receive divine life.

    ---

    3. THE SOURCE OF THE NEW BIRTH

    A. The Word of God

The new birth begins when the Word of God enters the heart.

«“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God…”
    — 1 Peter 1:23»

The Gospel is the seed that produces spiritual life.

This is why preaching the Gospel is essential.

«“Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
    — Romans 10:17»

    ---

    B. The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit performs the miracle of regeneration.

«“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
    — John 3:6»

No preacher can produce the new birth.
    No church can manufacture salvation.
Only the Holy Spirit can awaken/Resirrect a dead spirit.

    ---

    4. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE?

    A. The heart is transformed

    God changes the inner man.

«“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.”
    — Ezekiel 36:26»

The born again believer begins to:

    - Hate sin
    - Love righteousness
    - Desire holiness
    - Hunger for God

    ---

    B. The spirit becomes alive unto God

Before salvation, man is spiritually blind.

«“The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.”
    — 1 Corinthians 2:14»

    But after the new birth:

    - The Bible becomes alive
    - Prayer becomes meaningful
    - Worship becomes real
    - Fellowship with God becomes personal

    ---

    C. A new identity is received

The believer becomes a child of God.

«“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.”
    — John 1:12»

This is not symbolic adoption alone; it is spiritual birth into God’s family.

    ---

    5. EVIDENCES OF A TRUE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE

    A. Love for God

«“We love him, because he first loved us.”
    — 1 John 4:19»

A born again believer develops genuine affection for Christ.

    ---

    B. Victory over habitual sin

«“Whosoever is born of God doth not practice sin.”
    — 1 John 3:9 (meaning continual lifestyle of sin)»

The believer may still struggle, but sin no longer rules the heart.

    ---

    C. Love for fellow believers

«“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.”
    — 1 John 3:14»

    ---

    D. Desire for holiness

«“Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
    — 1 Peter 1:16»

    The new nature seeks purity.

    ---

    6. NICODEMUS: A RELIGIOUS MAN WHO NEEDED NEW BIRTH

    Nicodemus was:

    - Religious
    - Educated
    - Moral
    - A teacher of Israel

    Yet Jesus told him:

    «“Ye must be born again.”
    — John 3:7»

    This reveals a powerful truth:

    Religion without regeneration cannot save.

    Church attendance cannot replace transformation.

    ---

    7. THE CROSS IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE NEW BIRTH

The new birth became possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

«“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree.”
    — 1 Peter 2:24»

    Jesus took our:

    - Sin
    - Judgment
    - Curse
    - Condemnation

And through His resurrection, He gives new life.

«“Because I live, ye shall live also.”
    — John 14:19»

    ---

    8. HOW CAN A PERSON BE BORN AGAIN?

Step 1 — Repent of sin

«“Repent ye therefore, and be converted.”
    — Acts 3:19»

Repentance means turning away from sin toward God.

    ---

Step 2 — Believe in Jesus Christ

«“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
    — Acts 16:31»

    Salvation is received by faith.

    ---

Step 3 — Receive Christ personally

    «“As many as received him…”
    — John 1:12»

Christianity is not inherited. Christ must personally enter the heart.

    ---

    9. THE DANGER OF FALSE CONVERSION

    Many people:

    - Know Christian language
    - Practice religion
    - Have emotional experiences

    Yet remain unchanged inwardly.

    True salvation produces transformation.

«“By their fruits ye shall know them.”
    — Matthew 7:20»

    ---

    10. THE ETERNAL IMPORTANCE OF THE NEW BIRTH

    Jesus declared:

«“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
    — John 3:5»

The new birth is not optional.
It is the doorway into eternal life.

    Without the new birth:

    - There is no true fellowship with God
    - No spiritual understanding
    - No entrance into God’s Kingdom

    ---

    Conclusion

    The Born Again experience is:

    - A spiritual resurrection
    - A divine transformation
    - A supernatural work of grace

    It changes:

    - The heart
    - The desires
    - The identity
    - The eternal destiny

Christianity begins not at church membership, baptism, or religious activity — but at the moment a sinner encounters Christ and becomes spiritually alive.

«“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
    — John 3:7»

May every believer not merely know about Christ, but truly experience the transforming power of the new birth through the Holy Spirit.

  • THE CALL TO GOD’S PRESENCE

    Main Text: Psalm 24:3–4
“Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart…”

    1. INTRODUCTION:
Beloved, this is not just a question—it is a divine requirement.

Who can come close to God?
Who can live in His presence?
    Who can carry His glory?

    The answer is clear:
    * Not the talented * Not the religious * Not the outwardly successful
But: Those with clean hands and a pure heart.

    2. WHAT ARE “CLEAN HANDS”? (OUTWARD LIFE)

    “Clean hands” speaks about:
    * Our actions. * Our behavior/Attitude * Our daily conduct

    Isaiah 1:15–16
“Your hands are full of blood… Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean…”

    James 4:8
“Draw near to God… Cleanse your hands, you sinners…”

    Meaning:
Clean hands mean: No hidden sin in actions, No injustice or wrongdoing,
No corruption, cheating, or harm to others
+ It is about what you do.

    Ask yourself:
Are my actions pleasing to God?
Is my lifestyle clean before Him?

    3. WHAT IS A “PURE HEART”? (INWARD LIFE)
A pure heart is deeper than behavior.
    + It is about:
    - Thoughts, Motives, Intentions
    Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
    Jeremiah 17:10
“I the Lord search the heart…”
    Psalm 51:10
“Create in me a clean heart, O God…”

    + A pure heart means:
    - No double-mindedness
    - No hidden motives
    -;No hypocrisy
It is All about who you are inside. / The real you.

    4. GOD LOOKS AT BOTH – NOT ONE
    Many people try to:
    Look clean outside
    But remain dirty inside

    God rejects that.
    1 Samuel 16:7
“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
    Matthew 23:27
“Whitewashed tombs… outwardly beautiful, but inside full of dead bones.”

    + God demands:
Clean hands AND a pure heart.

    5. THE DANGER OF UNCLEAN HANDS AND IMPURE HEART
    Spiritual Consequences:
    1. Blocked prayers
    Psalm 66:18
“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.”

    2. Distance from God
    Isaiah 59:2
“Your sins have separated you from your God.”

    3. Loss of spiritual authority
No power, no anointing, no clarity

    6. HOW TO GET CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART
This is the most important part.

    Step 1: REPENTANCE
    Acts 3:19
“Repent… that your sins may be blotted out.”
    + True repentance is:
    - Turning away from sin
    - Not just feeling sorry

    Step 2: CONFESSION
    1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful… to cleanse us…”
+/ Bring everything into the light.

Step 3: THE WORD OF GOD
    Psalm 119:9
“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.”
+ The Word washes and corrects us.

Step 4: THE BLOOD OF JESUS
    Hebrews 9:14
“The blood of Christ… cleanses your conscience…”
+ Only Jesus can purify the heart completely.

Step 5: WALK IN THE SPIRIT
    Galatians 5:16
“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”
+ Daily dependence on God is essential.

    7. THE RESULT: ACCESS TO GOD’S PRESENCE
When your hands are clean and your heart is pure:
    You will:
    1. Enter God’s presence boldly
    2. Hear His voice clearly
    3. Carry His glory
    4. Experience spiritual authority

    Key Promise:
    Psalm 24:5
“He shall receive blessing from the Lord…”

    8. FINAL CALL:
    A HOLY INVITATION
God is not looking for perfection… But He is looking for purity and sincerity.
    + Today, He is asking:
    Will you cleanse your hands?
    Will you surrender your heart?

    CLOSING PRAYER
    “Lord, search my heart.
Cleanse my hands from every wrong action.
Purify my heart from every hidden sin.
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Let my life be holy before You.
    In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
“God is not impressed by what you show—He is moved by what you are.”
THE CALL TO GOD’S PRESENCE Main Text: Psalm 24:3–4 “Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart…” 1. (INWARD LIFE) A pure heart is deeper than behavior. + It is about: - Thoughts, Motives, Intentions Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Jeremiah 17:10 “I the Lord search the heart…” Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God…” + A pure heart means: - No double-mindedness - No hidden motives -;No hypocrisy It is All about who you are inside. / The real you. 4. GOD LOOKS AT BOTH – NOT ONE Many people try to: Look clean outside ❌ But remain dirty inside ❌ God rejects that. 1 Samuel 16:7 “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Matthew 23:27 “Whitewashed tombs… outwardly beautiful, but inside full of dead bones.” + God demands: Clean hands AND a pure heart. 5. THE DANGER OF UNCLEAN HANDS AND IMPURE HEART Spiritual Consequences: 1. Blocked prayers Psalm 66:18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.” 2. Distance from God Isaiah 59:2 “Your sins have separated you from your God.” 3. Loss of spiritual authority No power, no anointing, no clarity 6. HOW TO GET CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART This is the most important part. Step 1: REPENTANCE Acts 3:19 “Repent… that your sins may be blotted out.” + True repentance is: - Turning away from sin - Not just feeling sorry Step 2: CONFESSION 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful… to cleanse us…” +/ Bring everything into the light. Step 3: THE WORD OF GOD Psalm 119:9 “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.” + The Word washes and corrects us. Step 4: THE BLOOD OF JESUS Hebrews 9:14 “The blood of Christ… cleanses your conscience…” + Only Jesus can purify the heart completely. Step 5: WALK IN THE SPIRIT Galatians 5:16 “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” + Daily dependence on God is essential. 7. THE RESULT: ACCESS TO GOD’S PRESENCE When your hands are clean and your heart is pure: You will: 1. Enter God’s presence boldly 2. Hear His voice clearly 3. Carry His glory 4. Experience spiritual authority Key Promise: Psalm 24:5 “He shall receive blessing from the Lord…” 8. FINAL CALL: A HOLY INVITATION God is not looking for perfection… But He is looking for purity and sincerity. + Today, He is asking: Will you cleanse your hands? Will you surrender your heart? CLOSING PRAYER “Lord, search my heart. Cleanse my hands from every wrong action. Purify my heart from every hidden sin. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Let my life be holy before You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” “God is not impressed by what you show—He is moved by what you are.”
