    No Regret
Also do not look with regret or concern upon your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours. Genesis 45:20 (AMP)

Regret is the consequence of unresolved issues that fester in the soul. It saps the strength and keeps one from productivity and progress in the pursuit of purpose. Regret of the past is what brings reproach in the future. You must let go and let God!

Yesterday ended last night. Today, it is more valuable to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret. Regret ‘looks’ back. Worry ‘looks’ around. Vision ‘looks’ up. Life can be understood backward, but it must be lived forward. Apostle Paul had reasons for regrets but learnt to focus on the future by “forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13). Dreams of the future are more valuable than the history of the past. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “There are no regrets in life, just lessons.”
Prayer: Almighty God, I stand by the power of Your Spirit and break agreement with the spirit of shame, guilt, and constant looking back. Your Word says there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus, I claim that promise right now. Wash my heart clean. Help me to learn the lessons from my past without living trapped inside of it in Jesus’ name.

    Choices and Changes
Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. Psalm 25:12 (NLT)

Choices determine destiny. The ability to make a choice is a gift God has given every living human being. Every choice you make acts as a building block for life changes. Small daily decisions compound into major life transformations, shaping your health, career, and happiness over time. Choosing short-term comfort can lead to long-term struggle, while discipline brings future rewards.

Everything in life reflects the choices you make in life. If you have chosen something, you will consequently get the results that will adhere to it. If you have made bad choices in the past, you can turn to God in repentance to resist future temptation. Life is too short to allow yourself to be an inmate in the prison of bad choices and weak decisions. Be guided by the Word and the Spirit in making your choices. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “It’s choice—not chance—that determines your destiny.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom to make righteous choices and the courage to embrace the changes they bring. Clear my mind of doubt, still my anxious thoughts, and align my heart with Your perfect will so I may walk forward with peace and absolute trust in Your guidance in Jesus’ name.

    Anger Gives Wrong Label
Control your temper, for anger labels you a fool. Ecclesiastes 7:9 (NLT)

Anger is not sinful. It becomes a sin when it gets uncontrollable. Anger is usually manifested in a couple of ways. It can explode through lashing out at others, or it can implode inside you when you push it down and stuff it. Anger causes wrong labels because it narrows our focus. It makes us judge people or situations too fast. We see only the bad things. We miss the truth.

A temporary frustration can give you a permanent, unfair label like "you are toxic," "selfish," or "stupid". A person is usually measured by the size of whatever it takes to make such mad. He is seen as completely bad instead of just human. Therefore, remember God’s Word in Ephesians 4:26 that says: “Do not let the sun go down on your anger” meaning: resolve every issue before the day is over. If your anger is prolonged for just two days, it has turned into sin. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: "Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind."
Prayer: Lord, I pray You calm my heart and quiet my mind. When anger rises, give me the supernatural grace to pause, breathe, and choose self-control. Guard my lips from harsh words, replace my frustration with Your patience, and help me see every situation through Your eyes in Jesus' name.

    The Benefit of Curiosity
"The queen of Sheba heard of Solomon's fame, and she travelled to Jerusalem to test him with difficult questions." 1 Kings 10:1 (GNB)

The queen of Sheba came to Solomon to hear his wisdom, thereby to improve her own. She was curious when she heard of the fame of Solomon. Creativity is always born out of curiosity. Curiosity is a holy pursuit that transforms a stagnant faith into an active journey. It moves a person past routine compliance and into a vibrant, deeper relationship with God.

Curiosity means being adventurous, living your life outside of the box; not being satisfied with things as they are, but eager to enter true reality. It demands high level of sensitivity and alertness. It is a constant journey of discovery that triggers a new desire for greater accomplishment. Get more curious and you get more creative making you highly productive and a celebrated highflyer! This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray for a fresh, holy curiosity about the life assignment You have designed specifically for me. I receive freedom from routine, a curious mind that is eager to learn, and the humility to ask honest questions. Help me seek understanding like hidden treasure every single day in Jesus’ name.

    Never Compromise Your Uniqueness!
"Look," they told him, "you are now old, and your sons are not like you. Give us a king to judge us like all the other nations have." 1 Samuel 8:5 (NLT)

Some people are miserable not because of troubles they are facing but for the fact that they are tormented by the feeling that everybody has what they don’t have. Consider Israel, happy until they began to demand for a king like other nations. What they were asking was already theirs because Jehovah wanted to rule over them to make them unique; unlike other nations of the world!

It is a dangerous thing to want to become like other people. Anytime you start lusting to be like other people you lose your distinction and your uniqueness. The power for living is in being yourself and operating the way God created you. God cannot bless a person that keeps on changing identity from week to week. Celebrate your own uniqueness for a satisfactory, fulfilling, and colourful destiny. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
Prayer: Father Lord God, thank You for creating me with distinct purpose, value, and design. Grant me the bold grace to reject the pressure to blend in, refusing to trade my God-given uniqueness for temporary approval, ease, or fear. Keep my heart steadfast to walk authentically in the path You have set before me in Jesus’ name.

    Extending Grace
The king said, is there not still someone of the house of Saul to whom I may show the [unfailing, unsought, unlimited] mercy and kindness of God? Ziba replied, Jonathan has yet a son who is lame in his feet. 2Samuel 9:3 (AMP)

The grace of God has a vertical significance as a gift from Him. And like the Cross of Christ, there is also horizontal grace – our extending it to others. When we remind ourselves always of where God has brought us from, to where we are, we easily allow Him to take another person through us.

Mephibosheth has zero personal appeal; but David stooped in grace. Like the late pastor and Bible scholar Donald Barnhouse said: “Love that goes upward is worship; love that goes outward is affection; love that stoop is grace.” To show grace is to extend favour or kindness to one who doesn’t deserve it and can never earn it. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: "Be graceful in everything; in anger, in sadness, in joy, in kindness, in unkindness, retain grace with you!"
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the boundless grace You constantly pour into my life. As You have forgiven and accepted me, please grant me the strength and compassion to extend that same unearned grace, mercy, and patience to the people around me in Jesus’ name.

    Very Far from Evil
In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Isaiah 54:14 (NKJV)

God putting you right with Him puts you at a distance from oppression as far as the east is from the west and the north from the south. It is not only your spirit that is at distance, even your mind and your physical body. You are far from oppression because you are no longer in the territory of the oppressor; you are in the kingdom of light by reason of your salvation.

You are also far from terror because of your right standing with God. Terror means overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiety. It is the instrument the terrorist uses to paralyse faith and neutralise confidence in God. It is when the terrorist succeeds in instilling fear that he hands over the person to the oppressor. Your salvation which is divine visitation is a limitation to the terrorist whether from hell or from the world. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “Divine freedom from oppression is the spiritual truth that no human chains can bind a soul aligned with the Divine.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come with a heart full of thanks. You broke my chains and lifted the heavy weight of oppression. You are my strong tower, and I praise You for your saving power and sweet release in Jesus’ name.

    Draw Near
They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion. Psalm 84:7 (NKJV)

Keeping distance from God weakens a believer. It is nearness to Him that increases the strength you need for your life journey. Nearness is a spiritual state of close and personal fellowship with the Almighty; not a physical location, but an intimate connection built on faith, prayer, and trust.

You need more strength constantly for various reasons. The ability you used to solve yesterday’s problem may not be adequate for tomorrow’s challenge. Your responsibility will always look bigger than your ability. The task before you will always look more enormous than the time and opportunity available to you. There are things you must go through always before you break through. As you draw near, you know more of God, and you draw more of His power and anointing to prevail and be in constant dominion. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: "Drawing near to the source of your strength is the quickest way to renew it."
Prayer: : Lord, You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. Thank You because You are never far away; You are in me. Strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being. When I am weak, let Your infinite might take over. Give me courage for the tasks ahead and peace that quiets my anxious thoughts. Help me to walk closely with You always, taking one step at a time in total reliance on Your love for me in Jesus’ name.

    Adapting to Today’s challenges
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1

Making meaningful progress depends largely on how well adapted you are to today’s challenges. A proper understanding of the realities of time is important. There is, the past, present and future. You cannot afford to live only in the memories of the past and the observation of the present. Otherwise, you will be responding only to what has happened and is happening. You will be reactive and not proactive. But, when you adapt to today’s challenges, you are focused on the future. You begin to design and possess the future through new ideas, insights, and inspirations.

You can set out what the future would be like by harnessing the power of forward-looking imagination. This what buying the future with today’s currency means. You are being proactive, not waiting to respond after things have happened. You are set for the top! This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “Our very survival depends on our ability to stay awake, to adjust to new ideas, to remain vigilant and to face the challenge of change.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You seeking the spiritual strength and mental flexibility required to handle daily demands. Grant me the inner power and discipline to release the past, quiet present distractions, and fix my eyes firmly on the future. Fill my mind with Your vision, align my steps with Your purpose, and give me the strength to press forward with hope and unwavering focus. I declare that through Your grace, I am adaptable, capable, and victorious in Jesus’ name.

    Say No to Fear
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36(NKJV)

The Lord Jesus had to immediately issue a strong command to Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue after he was told that his daughter was dead while both were on the way to his house. Fear is generated and fertilized by words. It is either in words spoken to you or the ones you speak to yourself.

Words you say to yourself in moments of challenges can put so much fear in you and rob you outright of the confidence you have in God’s faithfulness. Fear is the opposite of faith, the enemy of progress. Fear is the advance notice of Satan to sift and dislodge a saint. It is the forerunner of hopelessness, confusion, depression, failure, and complete paralysis of destiny. To resist fear, you must first identify it. Any time you lose your peace, fear is knocking on the door of your heart. Command it to go where it belongs, and you will be free. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear."
Prayer: Lord, You are bigger than any worry or terror that tries to creep into my mind. I say no to the voice of doubt, anxiety, and intimidation. I will not let fear make my choices for me. As written in 2 Timothy 1:7, I walk in Your power instead of trembling in weakness. I receive holy boldness to step forward, knowing You go ahead of me and will never leave me in Jesus’ name.

    Living Life to the Fullest
Paul, Apollos, and Peter; this world, life and death, the present and the future---all these are yours, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. 1Corinthians 3:22, 23 (GNB)

God has made all things available to enable you live life to the fullest. All things are yours. You are not lacking in anything. You are not deficient in any way. So, stop looking for who will carry or help you and begin to use or apply what you have to pursue your dreams, goals, and life assignment. God does not need more than what is in your hand to hand over all that are in His hand to you.

Stop living your condition and start living your conviction. Conviction is what you believe you are in Christ even if your situation and circumstances around you are showing or saying otherwise. Believe every promise in the Word to be empowered to become who God says you are. And start behaving what you believe and in due time, you will become. (John 1:12). This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”
Prayer: Father God, expand my vision and my territory. Help me to look past my mistakes, my current struggles, and see with the eyes of faith. Fill me again with Your Holy Spirit so I can walk in supernatural strength, cross old boundaries, and step into the wide-open spaces You have prepared for me. Let Your favour go before me, opening doors that no person can shut. I declare that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength in Jesus’ name.

    Destined and Designed
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT)

God created fish to swim, but fish don’t have to take swimming lessons because the swim is already in the fish. Birds to fly, but birds don’t have to attend flight school because the flight is already in the bird. It means success is not something we chase, but something that happens naturally when we are aligned with who God created us to be.

A fish looks untalented on land, a bird looks weak under water, but none of them are failures, they’re just in a wrong environment. That’s why so many people get stuck. They’re not failing because success isn’t in them, they’re struggling because they’re trying to thrive in a place God never designed them for. When you are operating in your purpose, success becomes a byproduct, not because you forced it, but because you found the environment that God created you to live in. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: "You are not a victim of circumstance; you are destined by purpose and designed by intention to build what you envision."
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I pray for Your wisdom and discernment. Enlighten the eyes of my heart so that I may clearly see the hope of Your calling. Open the doors that align with Your perfect will, and gently close the ones that lead me astray. Order my steps, renew my mind, and give me the courage to walk boldly in my unique design in Jesus’ name.
Lifeline Today Monday August 10 Destined and Designed “I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT) God created fish to swim, but fish don’t have to take swimming lessons because the swim is already in the fish. Handling Rejection 2
Isn't he the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? Aren't his sisters living here?" And so they rejected him. Mark 6:3 (GNB)

To get over rejection, we have our Master as role model to follow. He handled His rejection as if it was nothing. He was not disgusted at the way they treated Him. Know that it is not everybody that will believe you for who you are. Go round it as He did, go on and continue the pursuit of your purpose. View the rejection as a redirection toward a better fit rather than a final failure.

As painful as rejection can be, don't let fear of it stop you from putting yourself out there. It's important to learn from it, build resilience, and keep trying. Blaming yourself or others won't help. Think about it: if you’re being rejected, that means you’re trying. And if you’re trying, that means you’re more likely to succeed. So being rejected isn’t a bad thing - it’s just part of getting where you need to be. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “Rejection isn’t failure. Failure is giving up. Everybody gets rejected. It’s how you handle it that determines where you’ll end up.”
Prayer: Father Lord God, I stand in authority and renounce and break the power of the spirit of rejection over my life, and I declare my total freedom from it. I refuse to be weighed down by feelings of rejection or accept any form of rejection that comes my way, because I know that I am accepted and loved by You. I choose to see beyond every form of rejection, trusting that You are working all things together for my good, in Jesus name.

    Handling Rejection 1
"And if some home or town will not welcome you or listen to you, then leave that place and shake the dust off your feet." Matthew 10:14 (GNB)

Rejection hurts, but it's a normal part of life. To be successful, you need to learn how to deal with rejection. You get rejected when you are snubbed, overlooked, denied, bypassed, or completely refused for what you duly qualify! You get rejected when your right is trampled upon without regard to your feeling.

Don’t allow rejection from people reduce you to a heap of refuse. Handling rejection means allowing yourself to feel the natural sting of disappointment without letting it damage your self-worth. Shake it off. Refuse to take it personal or accept it as final. Look for new opportunities. One speck of rejection must not stick to the soles of your feet, or you will carry it with you to the next place. Don’t permit your past rejection to distort your view of future opportunities. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “A "no" acts as an alarm bell to wake you up and keep you moving forward.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive Your abundant grace to handle every rejection. Knowing Lord, that the pain of rejection is sharp, empower me with Your Spirit to process every hurt without letting bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, or self-doubt take root in my soul. Remind me that my true worth is found in You alone, not in the shifting approval or acceptance of people. Let Your love fill every empty place in Jesus’ name.

    Protect Your Peace
Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Romans 12:17-19 (NLT)

It is within your power to live in peace with whoever you come across in your life journey. When someone disrespects you, don’t react, don’t argue, don’t explain yourself.
