Jesus Doesn't Want Your Worship, Jesus Wants You
Jesus Christ is the center of everything in Christianity. Not teachings, not commandments, not rituals. A person. A relationship with a living person. A Christian is not someone who goes to church every Sunday. A Christian is someone whose life has been seized by Jesus. Not because they are a saint, but because they realized they needed a Savior.
Jesus wants you, not just your worship. He wants your heart, not just your gifts. He wants your time, not just your service. That doesn't mean worship is bad. But true worship comes from a heart that has fallen in love with Jesus. The first commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Everything else is built on that love.
Today, think: Who is Jesus to you? A prophet among prophets? A moral teacher? A respectable historical figure? Or is He your Lord, your Savior, your Beloved, and your everything? Your answer to that question will determine your entire life.
