No one needs the definition of good works. We know what those are. I could tell you most assuredly though that nothing we can produce could even remotely come close to the good works that would be necessary to secure our right standing with God. Thankfully, we receive righteousness now, not because of our performance, but by placing our faith in Jesus and his finished work at the cross as being sufficient for our salvation. Does this mean we do nothing in the body of Christ? Of course not! We do things. We are productive in the kingdom. We witness to others, we help others, we feed others, we go where we are led to go and we say what we are led to say.
