BELIEVE THAT YE RECEIVE Pray • Believe • Trust • Receive ANCHOR SCRIPTURE Mark 11:24 (KJV) “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” 1. PRAY WITH FAITH Don't just pray with your lips—believe in your heart. Faith gives confidence before the answer appears. 2. TRUST GOD Bring your desires before God, but trust His wisdom and timing. 1 John 5:14 (KJV) “...if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.” 3. KEEP BELIEVING The answer may not come immediately. Delay is not denial. Keep trusting God. 4. THANK GOD Believe God is able, remain faithful while waiting, and give Him thanks. KEY LESSON 1. Pray sincerely. 2. Believe firmly. 3. Trust God's will. 4. Wait patiently. 5. Give thanks. FINAL CHARGE 1. Pray with faith. 2. Believe with confidence. 3. Wait with patience. 4. God has always spoken to people in different ways, and one of those ways is through dreams and visions. All throughout the Bible—Joseph, Jacob, Daniel—you see God using these moments to guide, warn, or encourage people. And Joel 2:28 even says that God will continue to speak this way, which is why many Christians still believe He does today. I’m one of them. So many people have had dreams or visions that gave direction or revealed something true later on. God hasn’t gone silent; we just have to stay open, pay attention, and make sure everything lines up with Scripture. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. *MARK 13:10.* 10. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. *TOPIC:* PRIORITISE MISSION. *THE MESSAGE:* Jesus made it clear that the gospel of the kingdom must be proclaimed to all nations before His return. The ultimate goal of missions is to establish the Lordship of Christ across the earth, not through force, but through the willing submission of hearts to His saving grace. Only through faith in Christ and His redemptive work can humanity be delivered from the bondage of sin, self, and Satan to serve God truly. As recipients of God's mercy and grace, we cannot remain silent about it. The good news is too powerful to be kept to ourselves. Like the young Karl Kumm of blessed memory, mission must be our priority. Be actively engaged through proclamation, prayers, and giving. DAVID AND MEPHIBOSHETH "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah." - Revelation 11:15 When Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan and grandson of Saul, was told to come to king David's palace, he must have trembled all over his body. He must have thought David wanted revenge on him for what his grandfather Saul had done to him. When Mephibosheth entered the palace, he fell before king David's feet and exclaimed: 'What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?' We will also have a heavenly palace where the living God is. There are many people, including Christians, who tremble in fear of the King, the living God, they fear to stand before His throne. They are afraid of what God will do to them. Will He be angry because of the sins they have committed? This is how they think, because they believe that God is an angry and stern God. Do not be afraid for God Today I want to tell you that God is a God of love and grace. He does not want anyone to perish. He gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. You do not have to be afraid if you know that you are a child of God. When the time comes and the Lord calls you to come to His palace, do not be afraid to let go of the earth and courageously enter your King's palace. When you enter as Mephibosheth did, Jesus Christ will be standing there. Throw yourself at His feet, this is all you have to do and He will do the rest! Help us to see its sacredness because it is Your fatherly choice for us and Your gift to us. Surely, the place You have prepared for us, and where You have set us, must be the best place for us—the place where we can best grow as Christians, where the atmosphere is most healthy for us, and where the experiences are best suited to develop our character. It must also be the place where we can do the best service for You. Help us to accept it with confidence and to live in it without discontent. Sometimes we are tempted to complain. We think others are more favored, have easier lives, less care and toil, and more ease and comfort. We imagine that if we could trade places with others, we could live more sweetly and make more of our lives. Forgive us for this sin of discontentment with our place in life. You know what is best for us. You know where we can be of the most use to You and others, where the work is that You have for us to do. So, we earnestly pray, our Father, for the spirit of cheerful acceptance of Your plan and Your way for us. Dear God, You’re great and mighty, full of love and everything good. I pray today that You calm my heart emotionally and physically. Your word in John 14:1 says, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” God, regardless of what I’m facing right now, give me the strength to endure and the peace that reminds me greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I trust that You’re meeting every need according to Your riches and glory, and I’m declaring that pain, sadness, anxiety, and worry have no place in me right now. When I grow tired and weary, renew my strength. You’re my refuge, and I trust You to fight every battle I’m facing. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Have I not commanded you? Trust the Process, Even When You Can’t See the Plan 🙏 Sometimes we become so tired of waiting that we start questioning God’s timing. We see others moving ahead and wonder, “When will it be my turn?” But remember: a delay is not always a denial. There are doors God may be keeping closed because He knows what is behind them. There are seasons He allows us to go through because they are preparing us for what we have been praying for. Don’t rush because you’re frustrated. Don’t settle because you’re tired. Don’t make permanent decisions because of temporary pressure. Keep praying. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep trusting God. One day, you may look back and realize that the waiting season was not wasted—it was preparation. Dear Father, We all have desires and make requests to become better versions of ourselves. But sometimes, it looks as though we are not nearly as prepared for the responsibility as we are for the blessings that accompany it. The Scripture says, “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.” And so often, we believe in how much we must do in alignment with what has been entrusted to us. But very rarely do we discuss how much we must refrain from doing by virtue of the office we have been assigned. I believe the word in the passage, “require,” doesn’t just imply what we must give, but also what we must become. Because we rarely speak about the other side of the coin: that the blessing is expected to flow from the inside out; that we begin with being blessed by the blessing, to becoming shaped by the blessing. Perhaps only then can we wholesomely become a blessing to others. Like In situations where great wisdom is entrusted to us, it is required that we exercise discretion and establish the necessary controls around it. And this is where it gets difficult, because control may sometimes mean holding our peace when speaking could exonerate a person, but at the same time, put a stain on his office. Or when stewardship requires not just our undeniable talents, but also our character. What we must give, but also what we must become. This is, perhaps, the perfect blend.
