FINAL SERMON: RED 7 —JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION CAME FIRST ON ME — GOLD CAME OUT PURE — NOW JUDGEMENT TO YOU EVIL DOERS

Text: 1 Pet 4:17 — For time has come for judgment to begin at house of God.

INTRO: RED 7 VISION ON ME

I am born again — true Israel — Believer not practising sin.

Red Color in vision= sin Isa 1:18 — though sins scarlet —Also Red = Blood of Jesus 1 John 1:7 — blood cleanses from all sin.

Red 7 vision came to me — not curse — but disciplinary act on me — Ps 37:23 — steps of good man ordered by Lord.

Punishment = 1 Pet 4:17 — judgement begin at house of God first.

1. SPIRITUAL WARFARE : EVIL— VOICES — EPH 6:12

Before accident, evil altar with voices already existing in my life — voices I heard when no one present — causing confusion, disturbance, threatening---spiritual warfare.

Eph 6:12 — we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness.

I fought them with Word of God — Eph 6:17 — sword of Spirit, which is Word of God — 2 Cor 10:4-5 — mighty to pull down strongholds.

Why this spiritual warfare? Because my calling fought Satan & works of Satan.

1 John 3:8 — For this purpose Son of God manifested, that He might destroy works of devil. That purpose is my calling.

Acts 26:18 — to turn them from darkness to light, and from power of Satan to God.
Rev 12:17 — dragon enraged, went to make war with offspring who keep commandments and have testimony of Jesus.

Aim of evil altar: persecute me so that to fail that calling God had put for me before Him — servant , & a witness of Jesus of last days testifying to what the son shown me.--- abort Green 7, vision Red 7, vision , skeleton vision & abort 144,000 dream. Acts26:16

2. GOD CAN BLEACH HEDGE FOR CORRECTION, TESTING, PURIFICATION

God can bleach hedge — not remove. Thus l prayed for hedge protection & believed that l received it. And b'se l had fallen Red 7 vision, was bleached in accident incident to allow correction, testing , & purification in me. But in this process wasn't removed.

Job 1:10 — Have You not made hedge around him?
Job 2:6 — Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.

Bleach = thin for three reasons:

Correction — Heb 12:6 — whom Lord loves He chastens — I had fallen — chastening needed Heb 12:11.
Testing — 1 Pet 1:7 — genuineness of faith tested by fire — to prove pure.
Purification — Mal 3:3 — He will purify sons of Levi as gold and silver — 1 Tim 4:5 — sanctified by Word and prayer.

3. ACCIDENT = TESTING OF FAITH — BUT FAITH FAILED NOT — GOLD PURE

Then accident came — motorcycle hitting dog — body wounded.

People said negative: curse.

I insisted: NOT curse to me.

Because hedge though bleached, protected me to not go into death — Ps 118:18 — Lord chastened me severely, but has not given me over to death — Ps 34:7 — Angel encamps around those who fear Him.

This accident was about testing faith — but fortunately never failed it.

Luke 22:32 — I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail.
2 Cor 4:9 — struck down, but not destroyed.

Flesh wounded — faith held — Word held — Blood held.

Result: Gold came out pure — That's the thing.

Job 23:10 — When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
Zech 13:9 — I will refine them as silver, test them as gold is tested.
1 Pet 1:7 FULFILLED IN MY LIFE — faith more precious than gold, tested, found to praise.

I repented & got cleansed by blood — purified — faith clean through prayer — 1 Tim 4:5.

4. RED NO.7 MEANS COMPLETE — ORDER FINISHED

Red No.7 means complete — Gen 2:2 — on seventh day God ended His work — John 19:30 — It is finished.

Disciplinary action of suffering, testing, bleaching hedge — done/complete in my life now by Red No.7. Order finished.

Now new order: Green 7 — sealed unbroken — Matt 6:33 much more supply — 144,000 — true Israel.

5. NOW TO YOU EVIL DOERS — YOUR JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION — HARSHER

If this done to His house now and finished — God now looking to evil doers to repent too of their sins by punishing you now with His judgement of correction from Red 7 vision and obey His Word to be pure before God.

1 Pet 4:17-18 — if it begins with us first, what will be end of those who do not obey gospel? If righteous scarcely saved, where will ungodly and sinner appear?

And this punishment to you evil doers is going to be harsher than that God made first to His house.

Luke 12:47-48 — that servant who knew and did not prepare, shall be beat

So honor is not fitting for a fool.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST 2026

TOPIC: FEAR GOD, PART 1

MEMORIZE:
"But the Lord your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies." 2 Kings 17:39 (KJV)

BIBLE READING: PSALM 112:1-9
1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

MESSAGE:
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10); therefore, anyone who does not fear God is not wise. He is a Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29), and those who do not fear Him are truly foolish because even a mad dog fears fire. Psalm 111:10 also means that those who fear God become wise.

Apart from wisdom, however, there are many other benefits to fearing God, and today's Bible reading outlines many of them. One of the benefits is that the seed of a person who fears God will be mighty upon the earth (Psalm 112:2). That same verse also tells us that the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Psalm 112:3 says that you will have access to wealth and riches when you fear God. Also, Psalm 112:7 says that you will not be afraid of evil tidings. People who fear God do not need to be afraid of anything because He will deliver them out of the hands of all their enemies and everything that can harm them.

Those who do not fear God will find it easy to commit sins, and this can bring a curse upon them and their descendants. For example, Gehazi's lack of fear for the Lord caused him and his descendants to become carriers of the leprosy that was previously upon Naaman (2 Kings 5:20-27). Whenever a person acts in a way that shows that he or she does not fear God, such a person robs his or her children of the opportunity to be great and exposes them to curses rather than blessings.

Joab was another person whose lack of fear for the Lord brought curses upon his lineage. In (2 Samuel 3:27-29), the Bible details how he tricked Abner and murdered him in cold blood. When David heard about it, he placed a curse on Joab's lineage that sicknesses, leprosy, poverty, weakness, and untimely death would befall Joab's family and his descendants. People who do not fear God purchase trouble for their children.

Beloved, if you want your future and that of your children to be glorious, you need to have the fear of God in you. If you're going to have peace of mind in your old age, you must fear God. The reason I am sure that my tomorrow and those of my children will be alright is that I fear the Lord. I pray that your life and those of your descendants will be filled with blessings and not curses, in Jesus' name.

The fear of the Lord guarantees God's blessings for you and your lineage.

1.God of all wisdom and might, the One who made the heavens and earth with no pillars in between; You laid the foundations of the earth that it should not be removed

2.Father, the earth and the fullness thereof is in Your care, and by You we have the fullness of life through Christ Jesus.

3.Father, by Your wisdom You made the sun to rule the day, and the moon and stars to rule the night. The heavens declare Your glory, and the firmament shows Your handywork.

4.Father, please help me to fear You, and to walk in complete obedience to Your word, so I can become wiser, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, please help me to walk in Your fear, so I can be delivered out of the hands of all my enemies, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please help me to walk in holiness and in Your righteousness so it will become practically impossible for me to commit sin, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please help me to fear You so I won't miss the opportunity to be great and be exposed to blessings rather than curses, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please help me not to purchase trouble for my children for lack of fear for You, in Jesus' name.

Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. 8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. 9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. MESSAGE: The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10); therefore, anyone who does not fear God is not wise. He is a Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29), and those who do not fear Him are truly foolish because even a mad dog fears fire. Psalm 111:10 also means that those who fear God become wise. Apart from wisdom, however, there are many other benefits to fearing God, and today's Bible reading outlines many of them. One of the benefits is that the seed of a person who fears God will be mighty upon the earth (Psalm 112:2). That same verse also tells us that the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Psalm 112:3 says that you will have access to wealth and riches when you fear God. Also, Psalm 112:7 says that you will not be afraid of evil tidings. People who fear God do not need to be afraid of anything because He will deliver them out of the hands of all their enemies and everything that can harm them. Those who do not fear God will find it easy to commit sins, and this can bring a curse upon them and their descendants. For example, Gehazi's lack of fear for the Lord caused him and his descendants to become carriers of the leprosy that was previously upon Naaman (2 Kings 5:20-27). Whenever a person acts in a way that shows that he or she does not fear God, such a person robs his or her children of the opportunity to be great and exposes them to curses rather than blessings. Joab was another person whose lack of fear for the Lord brought curses upon his lineage. In (2 Samuel 3:27-29), the Bible details how he tricked Abner and murdered him in cold blood. When David heard about it, he placed a curse on Joab's lineage that sicknesses, leprosy, poverty, weakness, and untimely death would befall Joab's family and his descendants. People who do not fear God purchase trouble for their children. Beloved, if you want your future and that of your children to be glorious, you need to have the fear of God in you. If you're going to have peace of mind in your old age, you must fear God. The reason I am sure that my tomorrow and those of my children will be alright is that I fear the Lord. "LEARN TO WAIT"

‘They that wait upon the Lord...’ Isaiah 40:31KJV

THE WORD ‘wait’ can give us a picture of two things. The first is of a waiter at your table attending to your needs. The second is making a request of a judge or someone in power. Your success depends on approaching them the right way, and on their willingness to grant your request. Since they hold the power, you must be patient and wait for them. Are you getting the idea? Our problem is twofold. First, we want God to wait on us, instead of the other way round. Second, we don’t want to wait for anything! We drive to work listening to the radio and talking on the phone; some of us even put ourselves and others at risk by text-messaging. Vance Havner points out that in the Old West if someone missed a stagecoach they said, ‘That’s okay, another one will come around in three or four weeks. Now we don’t even want to wait for a revolving door.’ What God does in you while you are waiting is often more important than what you’re asking God to do. Waiting on God brings rewards that nothing else will. Here are a few of them: 1) Vindication. ‘Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong… Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart’ (Psalms 37:1-4 NIV). 2) Strength. ‘Wait on the Lord…and He shall strengthen your heart…’ (Psalms 27:14 NKJV). 3) Deliverance. ‘I…waited for God…He lifted me out of the ditch…’ (Psalms 40:1-2 TM). So relax, wait on God and He will come through for you.

*BLESSING OUR BOUNTIFUL GIVER*

*TEXT:* PSALM 103:1-22.

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

*Timeless Truth:*_"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name"_ (Psalm 103:1-22).

*INTRODUCTION*

God gives us blessings. Does He need our blessings? To "bless the Lord" means to praise, worship, and speak well of God's greatness and goodness from a deeply grateful heart. The opposite of blessing God is to speak negatively of God, blame, insult, complain against or even curse Him. While humans usually receive blessings from God, we "bless" Him in return by honoring, thanking and adoring Him for who He is and what He has done.
Psalm 103 is a beautiful hymn of praise in which David calls his soul to remember the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of God. The Lord is not only the source of our blessings; He is Himself the Bountiful Giver who forgives, heals, redeems, satisfies, and crowns His children with lovingkindness. As we reflect on His goodness, our appropriate response is to bless His holy name with a grateful heart.

*1. Call to Bless the LORD*

a. How do you feel when people commend, appreciate or speak well of you right in your presence or in the presence of others? You feel encouraged, satisfied and happy. God feels the same as the Person who created us in His image. David begins by addressing himself: *“Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”* He didn't say bless the LORD with his lips. That, as good as it can be, may be mechanical and for people to see. But he said his soul would bless the LORD. The blessings must be from his inner being and must affect all that is within him. It should be wholehearted praise.
b. He repeats the command, *“Bless the LORD,”* emphasizing that worship must come from the whole person. He warns himself not to forget God’s benefits. *"And forget not all his benefits"*. It is possible, human and natural to forget some of His benefits, but it is ingratitude to forget ALL. A recollection of a few of His benefits should cancel all forms of complaints due to hardship and delayed blessings. Many times, we remember our problems more readily than God’s goodness; but thanksgiving becomes powerful when we deliberately recall His blessings. Every breath, provision, protection, opportunity, and answered prayer is evidence of His mercy. We should, therefore, bless God not merely with our lips but with our entire being.

*Question*

Am I deliberately remembering and praising God for His benefits, or have I allowed my challenges to make me forget His goodness?

*2. Covenant Blessings from the LORD*

a. The divine covenant blessings are those blessings God gives to those who have come into covenant relationship with Him through the Lord Jesus. Such blessings are not for the general populace. David identifies some of the covenant benefits of the Lord: *“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things.”* Our greatest blessing is forgiveness. This forgiveness doesn't put into consideration the gravity of the sin, the foolishness of the offender, etc. It is freely and fully forgiven once there is evidence of repentance. He restores our relationship with Him and gives us a new beginning. He is also our Redeemer, preserving us from destruction and surrounding us with lovingkindness and mercy. He satisfies our lives with good things so that we may experience renewed strength like the eagle. The healings we received freely are part of God's covenant blessings. The irony of life is that many erroneously think they are mere general blessings and as a result, they are weak in pleasing the Lord.
b. God's blessings are not accidental; they flow from His covenant faithfulness. Therefore, let us trust Him, appreciate His benefits and remain faithful to Him. Deliberate efforts should constantly be made to recall the uncommon benefits we have received from the Lord.

*Question*

Which of God's covenant benefits have I received that I should consciously thank Him for today?

*3. The Character of the Bountiful LORD*

God is not a hypocrite. His blessings flow from His nature and character. The remaining verses reveal the character of our Bountiful LORD. He is righteous and just, defending the oppressed (v.6). He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy (v.8). He does not treat us according to our sins, but removes our transgressions far from us (vv.10–12). His compassion is like that of a loving father toward his children (v.13).
God understands our frailty because He remembers that we are dust (v.14). Though human life is temporary, *“the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting”* (v.17). His throne is established in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all (v.19). The psalm, therefore, ends with a universal call for angels, heavenly hosts and all God's works to bless His holy name (vv.20–22).
The appropriate response to such a generous and compassionate God is continual praise, obedience, trust and thanksgiving. Blessing God invites further divine blessings and draws the souls to God as well as scare the devil and his agents.

Does the character of God revealed in this Psalm inspire me to trust Him more deeply and bless His name continually?

1Lord, give me a grateful heart that will continually remember and bless You for all Your benefits .
2 Father, I thank You for Your forgiveness, redemption, mercy, healing, provision and preservation in my life .
3 Lord, help me to trust and always recall Your unfailing mercy and blessings and help me to remain faithful to You in every circumstance

*The story was told of a young boy who was given writing materials to write everything God and Satan had done for him within an hour. He set out to write about the blessings he received from God. He kept on remembering new things to write about the goodness of God in his life, and by the time he was done with that, the entire time was taken. So, he wrote at the bottom of his script "NO TIME FOR SATAN".*

*It is difficult to itemise all benefits we receive from God as His children. David, in the text, listed several of them, but the list is endless: He forgives all our sins, heals all our diseases, redeems our lives from destruction, satisfies our mouths with good things, provides justice for the oppressed, shows mercy to people, and retains not His anger forever. Attention was then shifted to His throne in heaven, where the angels worship Him and do all His commandments. His dominion is universal and His Kingdom rules over all.*

*David, the psalmist, wrote this psalm from his wealth of experience as Israel's king. He could tell and sing of God's mercies because he experienced them. He spoke from personal experience when God took Him from following the sheep as a shepherd to set him up as king in Israel. He saved him from the many battles he had to fight to maintain as well as expand the nation's territory. And when he fell into sin, with the devastating consequences on his family and kingship, he cried to God in penitence and received forgiveness. David knew that God's kingdom is not like that of man. He reigns and rules over the entire universe.*

*Like David, we should recall, remember and count our blessings, naming them one by one. We must deliberately focus our attention on the wonderful things He has done for us and stop worrying over the unresolved problems in our lives. As we praise God for His past mercies and blessings, we can be sure that He will arise and do more in our lives.*

*A scale is one of the symbols of the judiciary where justice was beautifully represented by the ancients as holding a pair of scales equally balanced. It depicts the principle of equity and fairness, balance and objective outlook. Justice ought to be without prejudice or passion.*

*Our text today condemns partiality in its entirety. God expects His children to treat everyone without prejudice or favouritism. We are expressly commanded in the Bible to do "nothing by partiality" (1 Timothy 5:21). Christians must avoid double standard in dealing with issues. Partiality makes someone a transgressor. "But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors."*

*Believers should act impartially when mediating between two people. Avoid emotional impressions when dealing with issues among people. We must give fair hearing to both parties in dispute. Issues should be treated on merit, not personal attachment, friendship, or fondness. Same punishment should be for same offence; same reward for same good deed, no matter whose ox is gored. Preconceived bias against any man is unrighteousness. Say no to partiality.*

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. 6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. 7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. 8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. 14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. 15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. 17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. 19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. 21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul. *Timeless Truth:*_"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name"_ (Psalm 103:1-22). *INTRODUCTION* God gives us blessings. Does He need our blessings? To "bless the Lord" means to praise, worship, and speak well of God's greatness and goodness from a deeply grateful heart. The opposite of blessing God is to speak negatively of God, blame, insult, complain against or even curse Him. While humans usually receive blessings from God, we "bless" Him in return by honoring, thanking and adoring Him for who He is and what He has done. Psalm 103 is a beautiful hymn of praise in which David calls his soul to remember the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of God. The Lord is not only the source of our blessings; He is Himself the Bountiful Giver who forgives, heals, redeems, satisfies, and crowns His children with lovingkindness. As we reflect on His goodness, our appropriate response is to bless His holy name with a grateful heart. *1. Call to Bless the LORD* a. How do you feel when people commend, appreciate or speak well of you right in your presence or in the presence of others? You feel encouraged, satisfied and happy. God feels the same as the Person who created us in His image. David begins by addressing himself: *“Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”* He didn't say bless the LORD with his lips. That, as good as it can be, may be mechanical and for people to see. But he said his soul would bless the LORD. The blessings must be from his inner being and must affect all that is within him. It should be wholehearted praise. b. He repeats the command, *“Bless the LORD,”* emphasizing that worship must come from the whole person. He warns himself not to forget God’s benefits. *"And forget not all his benefits"*. It is possible, human and natural to forget some of His benefits, but it is ingratitude to forget ALL. A recollection of a few of His benefits should cancel all forms of complaints due to hardship and delayed blessings. Many times, we remember our problems more readily than God’s goodness; but thanksgiving becomes powerful when we deliberately recall His blessings. Every breath, provision, protection, opportunity, and answered prayer is evidence of His mercy. We should, therefore, bless God not merely with our lips but with our entire being. *Question* Am I deliberately remembering and praising God for His benefits, or have I allowed my challenges to make me forget His goodness? *2. Covenant Blessings from the LORD* a. The divine covenant blessings are those blessings God gives to those who have come into covenant relationship with Him through the Lord Jesus. Such blessings are not for the general populace. David identifies some of the covenant benefits of the Lord: *“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things.”* Our greatest blessing is forgiveness. This forgiveness doesn't put into consideration the gravity of the sin, the foolishness of the offender, etc. It is freely and fully forgiven once there is evidence of repentance. He restores our relationship with Him and gives us a new beginning. He is also our Redeemer, preserving us from destruction and surrounding us with lovingkindness and mercy. He satisfies our lives with good things so that we may experience renewed strength like the eagle. The healings we received freely are part of God's covenant blessings. The irony of life is that many erroneously think they are mere general blessings and as a result, they are weak in pleasing the Lord. b. God's blessings are not accidental; they flow from His covenant faithfulness. Therefore, let us trust Him, appreciate His benefits and remain faithful to Him. Deliberate efforts should constantly be made to recall the uncommon benefits we have received from the Lord. *Question* Which of God's covenant benefits have I received that I should consciously thank Him for today? *3. The Character of the Bountiful LORD* God is not a hypocrite. His blessings flow from His nature and character. The remaining verses reveal the character of our Bountiful LORD. He is righteous and just, defending the oppressed (v.6). He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy (v.8). He does not treat us according to our sins, but removes our transgressions far from us (vv.10–12). His compassion is like that of a loving father toward his children (v.13). God understands our frailty because He remembers that we are dust (v.14). Though human life is temporary, *“the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting”* (v.17). His throne is established in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all (v.19). The psalm, therefore, ends with a universal call for angels, heavenly hosts and all God's works to bless His holy name (vv.20–22). The appropriate response to such a generous and compassionate God is continual praise, obedience, trust and thanksgiving. Blessing God invites further divine blessings and draws the souls to God as well as scare the devil and his agents. *Question* Does the character of God revealed in this Psalm inspire me to trust Him more deeply and bless His name continually? *Prayer Points* 1Lord, give me a grateful heart that will continually remember and bless You for all Your benefits 🙏. 2 Father, I thank You for Your forgiveness, redemption, mercy, healing, provision and preservation in my life 🙏. 3 Lord, help me to trust and always recall Your unfailing mercy and blessings and help me to remain faithful to You in every circumstance🙏 4 O Bountiful Giver, let our lives become a testimony of Your goodness and may everything within us continually bless Your holy name🙏 *HYMN:* Praise the Lord *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* NAHUM 1-3. David, in the text, listed several of them, but the list is endless: He forgives all our sins, heals all our diseases, redeems our lives from destruction, satisfies our mouths with good things, provides justice for the oppressed, shows mercy to people, and retains not His anger forever. Attention was then shifted to His throne in heaven, where the angels worship Him and do all His commandments. His dominion is universal and His Kingdom rules over all.* *David, the psalmist, wrote this psalm from his wealth of experience as Israel's king. He could tell and sing of God's mercies because he experienced them. He spoke from personal experience when God took Him from following the sheep as a shepherd to set him up as king in Israel. He saved him from the many battles he had to fight to maintain as well as expand the nation's territory. And when he fell into sin, with the devastating consequences on his family and kingship, he cried to God in penitence and received forgiveness. David knew that God's kingdom is not like that of man. He reigns and rules over the entire universe.* *Like David, we should recall, remember and count our blessings, naming them one by one. We must deliberately focus our attention on the wonderful things He has done for us and stop worrying over the unresolved problems in our lives. ( Proverbs 24)

1. Do not be envious of evil men,
Nor desire to be with them;

2. For their heart devises violence,
And their lips talk of troublemaking.

3. Through wisdom a house is built,
And by understanding it is established;

4. By knowledge the rooms are filled
With all precious and pleasant riches.

5. A wise man is strong,
Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;

6. For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

7. Wisdom is too lofty for a fool;
He does not open his mouth in the gate.

8. He who plots to do evil
Will be called a schemer.

9. The devising of foolishness is sin,
And the scoffer is an abomination to men.

10. If you faint in the day of adversity,
Your strength is small.

11. Deliver those who are drawn toward death,
And hold back those
stumbling to the slaughter.

24. He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,”

And a good blessing will come upon them.

27. Prepare your outside work,
Make it fit for yourself in the field;
And afterward build your house.

28. Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause,
For would you deceive with your lips?

29. Do not say, “I will do to him just as he has done to me;
I will render to the man according to his work.”

30. I went by the field of the lazy man,
And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;

31. And there it was, all overgrown with thorns;
Its surface was covered with nettles;
Its stone wall was broken down.

32. When I saw it, I considered it well;
I looked on it and received instruction:

33. A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest;

34. So shall your poverty come like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.

Loving and Gracious in All Things

“There are those people who would say, ‘I’d rather deal with somebody who is rude, antagonistic and sarcastic, but when it really matters, is there for us in the big challenges of life.’

But when one reads the Holy Bible, Old and New Testament, the character of God is such that He expects us not only to be loving and gracious on the big things, but also on the little things. To be loving and gracious only when it really matters, or only when it is convenient, is not the character of Christ. We must be loving and gracious in all things—big and small.”

Christian Character Is Revealed in the Little Things

It is easy to admire someone who stands beside us during a great crisis. Faithfulness in difficult times matters. But Christianity calls us to something deeper.

God does not ask us to love only when the circumstances are serious. He calls us to love in the ordinary moments of everyday life.

Jesus said:

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” — Luke 16:10

The little things matter because the little things reveal the heart.

How do we speak when we are irritated?
How do we treat someone who inconveniences us?
How do we respond when someone disagrees with us?
How do we speak about people who aren’t present?

These things may seem insignificant to the world, but they are not insignificant to God.

Love Is Not Selective

Jesus gave His followers a standard far higher than simply being decent when it is convenient:

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you.” — John 13:34

Christ’s love was not reserved for emergencies. It was woven into everything He did.

Paul says:

“Let all your things be done with charity.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

Notice the word all.

Not some things.

Not the important things.

All things.

Our speech, our attitudes, our reactions and our relationships are all opportunities to reflect Christ.

Paul also says:

“Let your speech be always with grace.” — Colossians 4:6

Always.

Not only when we are preaching.

Not only when we are dealing with someone we love.

Not only when someone is watching.

Always.

Even When People Are Difficult

Christian love is tested most when people are difficult.

Jesus said:

“Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you.” — Matthew 5:44

This does not mean Christians must tolerate abuse or refuse to confront wrongdoing. But even when we must establish boundaries or correct someone, we are not permitted to abandon Christlike love.

Proverbs tells us:

“A soft answer turneth away wrath.” — Proverbs 15:1

And Paul commands:

“Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” — Ephesians 4:32

Kindness is not weakness. Grace is not weakness. Forgiveness is not weakness.

These are marks of someone being transformed by Christ.

The Fruit of the Spirit Should Be Seen Every Day

Paul describes the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit:

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.” — Galatians 5:22–23

Notice how many of these qualities are revealed in ordinary interactions.

Longsuffering. Gentleness. Goodness. Meekness.

A person may demonstrate extraordinary courage during a crisis and still need the Holy Spirit to teach them patience in everyday life.

Someone may sacrifice greatly for another person and yet continually wound others with their words.

Christianity is not merely about doing great things occasionally. It is about becoming a person whose ordinary life reflects Jesus Christ.

Christ in the Big and the Small

Paul writes:

“Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” — Colossians 3:17

Whatever you do.

That includes the dramatic moments of life—and the mundane ones.

So yes, be the person who stands beside someone when tragedy strikes.

Be the person who answers the call when someone is hurting.

But also:

Be kind when nothing important is happening.

Be patient when you are irritated.

Speak graciously when you could speak harshly.

Forgive the small offenses.

Refuse to return sarcasm with sarcasm and hostility with hostility.

Because the Christian calling is not simply to be loving when “it really matters.”

It is to be loving because Christ lives in us.

Jesus said:

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” — John 13:35

The world should see Christ not only in how we respond to life’s greatest tragedies, but in how we behave on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon.

Love in the big things.

Love in the little things.

Grace in the big things.

Grace in the little things.

Mercy in the big things.

Mercy in the little things.

Because there are no insignificant moments when we are called to represent Jesus Christ.

“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

That is the Christian life: not occasional goodness, but a life increasingly shaped by the character of Christ.

SERMON TOPIC:-

WHEN GOD CLOSES A DOOR.

Understanding Divine Closure, Redirection, and the Next Move of God.

Key Scripture:

Revelation 3:7 —
“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

There are times in life when you pray for a door to open, you believe God has answered, you prepare yourself to walk through it—and suddenly, the door closes.
The job opportunity disappears.
The relationship ends.
The business deal fails.
The application is rejected.
The opportunity goes to someone else.
The plan you prayed about does not work.
And you ask, “God, why?”
But here is a truth every believer must understand:
A closed door is not always a sign of God's absence. Sometimes it is evidence of God's protection.
We often celebrate God when He opens doors, but mature Christians must also learn to trust Him when He closes them.
Sometimes God closes a door because what is behind it would destroy what He is building inside you.
Sometimes God closes a door because the next chapter of your life requires you to leave the previous chapter behind.
And sometimes God closes a door because He is preparing to open another one that you could never have opened for yourself.
1. GOD CAN CLOSE A DOOR FOR YOUR PROTECTION

Scripture: Proverbs 16:9

«“A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”»
There are things we desperately want because we can only see what is in front of us.
But God sees what is beyond the door.
You may see an opportunity.
God may see a trap.
You may see a relationship.
God may see the pain it will produce.
You may see a promotion.
God may see the pride it could create.
You may see a business opportunity.
God may see the consequences you cannot yet see.

Biblical Example:
Balaam

In Numbers 22, Balaam was travelling in a direction he thought was acceptable, but God placed an angel in his path.
Balaam could not see the danger.
His donkey could.
What Balaam considered an obstacle was actually divine protection.
Sometimes you are frustrated because something is blocking your way, while heaven is saying:
“I am blocking this because I know what you don't know.”
Don't curse every closed door.
Some closed doors are mercy.
2. GOD MAY CLOSE ONE DOOR TO REDIRECT YOU TO ANOTHER

Scripture: Acts 16:6–10

Paul and his companions wanted to preach in certain regions, but Scripture says:
«“They were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia.”»
Then Paul received a vision of a man from Macedonia saying, “Come over into Macedonia, and help us.”
Notice something powerful:
Paul was doing God's work, yet God still closed a door.
This teaches us that:
A good idea is not necessarily a God idea for this particular season.
You can be sincere and still be moving in the wrong direction.
You can have a legitimate opportunity and still not have divine permission.
You can pray, plan, prepare—and God can still say:
“Not this way.”
The closed door redirected Paul toward Macedonia, where God had prepared a greater assignment.

Spiritual Insight

Never allow disappointment to make you disobey divine direction.
When God closes a door, ask:
“Lord, where are You directing me?”
Not merely:
“Lord, why did You stop me?”
3. A CLOSED DOOR DOES NOT MEAN A CLOSED FUTURE

Scripture: Revelation 3:7

«“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”»
One closed door does not mean your entire future has been cancelled.
David was rejected by his family.
Joseph was rejected by his brothers.
Moses experienced rejection before returning to Egypt.
Paul experienced opposition throughout his ministry.
Yet God's purpose for them continued.
Remember this:
A closed chapter is not a closed destiny.
You may lose an opportunity without losing your purpose.
You may lose a relationship without losing your future.
You may lose a position without losing your calling.
You may experience rejection without becoming rejected by God.
The enemy wants you to interpret one disappointment as the conclusion of your entire story.
But God says:
“I am still writing.”
4. SOMETIMES GOD CLOSES A DOOR BECAUSE YOU HAVE OUTGROWN THE ROOM

Scripture:

Isaiah 43:18–19

«“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing.”»
There are seasons you cannot enter while continuously holding onto the previous one.
The children of Israel could not remain in Egypt forever.
Ruth had to leave Moab.
Abraham had to leave his father's house.
The disciples had to leave their nets and follow Jesus.
Growth requires movement.
Sometimes the door closes because God is calling you forward.
You keep asking God to reopen what He has already closed.
But God may be saying:
“Stop trying to return to where I am trying to take you from.”
Some people are praying for restoration when God is offering transformation.
Some are asking God to rebuild yesterday when God is preparing tomorrow.
5. LEARN TO TRUST GOD WHEN YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND HIM
Scripture: Romans 8:28
«“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.”»
Notice that Scripture does not say everything that happens is good.
It says God can work all things together for good.
The rejection can become redirection.
The disappointment can become development.
The delay can become preparation.
The closed door can become protection.
The ending can become the beginning of something greater.
Faith says:
“God, I don't understand this, but I trust You.”
That is mature faith.
Anyone can praise God when everything is working.
But there is a deeper level of worship when you can say:
“Even when I don't understand Your decision, I still trust Your character.”

BIBLICAL CASE STUDY:

JOSEPH

Joseph received a dream from God, but his journey did not immediately look like the dream.
He was hated by his brothers.
He was thrown into a pit.
He was sold into slavery.
He was falsely accused.
He was imprisoned.
Door after door seemed to close.
But God was not abandoning Joseph.
God was positioning Joseph.
The pit was not the palace.
The prison was not the promotion.
The rejection was not the conclusion.
Eventually, Joseph stood before Pharaoh.
Genesis 50:20 captures the revelation:
«“Ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.”»
What looked like destruction became divine positioning.
Somebody needs to hear this:
Your current closed door may be part of a larger story that you cannot see yet.
Don't abandon God because you don't understand the chapter.
Keep walking.
Keep praying.
Keep serving.
Keep believing.
The God who gave you the promise is still working on the process.

DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

1. Not every closed door is an attack.
Some are divine interventions.
2. God's “NO” can be as loving as His “YES.”
A parent who loves a child does not give the child everything they request.
God is your Father.
3. Timing matters.
Something can be good but wrong for your present season.
4. Never force what God has closed.
When God closes a door, human manipulation cannot make it God's will.
5. Look for God's presence beyond the door.
Sometimes we become so focused on what we lost that we fail to notice where God is leading us.

PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS

When God closes a door:
1. Don't panic.
Take time to pray before making emotional decisions.
2. Don't force it open.
What God has closed does not need manipulation.
3. Examine your heart.
Ask whether the closure is correction, protection, preparation, or redirection.
4. Seek God's Word.
Don't interpret your circumstances without Scripture.
5. Ask for direction.
Pray: “Lord, show me what You want me to do next.”
6. Keep moving.
A closed door should not become an excuse to stop your entire life.
7. Trust God's timing.
What you cannot understand today may become clear tomorrow.

QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION

1. What closed door am I currently struggling to accept?
2. Am I trying to force open something God may have closed?
3. Could this disappointment actually be divine protection?
4. What might God be redirecting me toward?
5. Am I more committed to God's will or to my own plans?
6. What lesson is God teaching me in this season?
7. Can I still trust God even when I don't understand Him?

POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS

1.
Father, give me the grace to recognize when You are closing a door for my protection.
2.
Lord, deliver me from forcing doors that You have closed.
3.
Father, when one door closes, give me spiritual eyes to see the door You are opening.
4.
Lord, heal every disappointment caused by rejection, delay, and closed opportunities.
5.
Father, redirect my steps into Your perfect will.
6.
Every door that must remain closed for my protection, give me the grace to leave it closed.
7.
Lord, open the doors that align with Your purpose for my life.
8.
Father, strengthen my faith when I cannot understand what You are doing.
9.
Every good thing You have ordained for my life, let no power of darkness permanently hinder it.
10.
Lord Jesus, let my life become a testimony that even through closed doors, You were working for my good.

CALL TO ACTION

Beloved, don't spend the rest of your life standing in front of a door God has already closed.
There is a time to knock.
There is a time to wait.
There is also a time to walk away.
If God closed it, trust Him.
If God blocked it, thank Him.
If God redirected you, follow Him.
If God is preparing another door, wait for Him.
You may not understand the closure today.
But one day you may look back and say:
“Thank God that door did not open.”
The door you are crying over today may be the very door God closed because He saw something you could not see.
So dry your tears.
Strengthen your faith.
Lift your eyes.
Your story is not over.
There is still purpose.
There is still grace.
There is still a future.
And there are doors that only God can open.

DECLARE BY FAITH:

“I will not die at a closed door.
I will not force what God has closed.
I will not allow rejection to destroy my faith.
I will trust God's direction.
I will follow His purpose.
And when my appointed door opens, no man will be able to shut it!”

God was positioning Joseph. The pit was not the palace. The prison was not the promotion. The rejection was not the conclusion. Eventually, Joseph stood before Pharaoh. Genesis 50:20 captures the revelation: «“Ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.”» What looked like destruction became divine positioning. Somebody needs to hear this: Your current closed door may be part of a larger story that you cannot see yet. Don't abandon God because you don't understand the chapter. Keep walking. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep believing. The God who gave you the promise is still working on the process. DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS 1. Not every closed door is an attack. Some are divine interventions. 2. God's “NO” can be as loving as His “YES.” A parent who loves a child does not give the child everything they request. God is your Father. 3. Timing matters. Something can be good but wrong for your present season. 4. Never force what God has closed. When God closes a door, human manipulation cannot make it God's will. 5. Look for God's presence beyond the door. Sometimes we become so focused on what we lost that we fail to notice where God is leading us. PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS When God closes a door: 1. Don't panic. Take time to pray before making emotional decisions. 2. Don't force it open. What God has closed does not need manipulation. 3. Examine your heart. Ask whether the closure is correction, protection, preparation, or redirection. 4. Seek God's Word. Don't interpret your circumstances without Scripture. 5. Ask for direction. Pray: “Lord, show me what You want me to do next.” 6. Keep moving. A closed door should not become an excuse to stop your entire life. 7. Trust God's timing. What you cannot understand today may become clear tomorrow. QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION 1. What closed door am I currently struggling to accept? 2. Am I trying to force open something God may have closed? 3. Could this disappointment actually be divine protection? 4. What might God be redirecting me toward? 5. Am I more committed to God's will or to my own plans? 6. What lesson is God teaching me in this season? 7. Can I still trust God even when I don't understand Him? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, give me the grace to recognize when You are closing a door for my protection. 2. Lord, deliver me from forcing doors that You have closed. 3. Father, when one door closes, give me spiritual eyes to see the door You are opening. 4. Lord, heal every disappointment caused by rejection, delay, and closed opportunities. 5. Father, redirect my steps into Your perfect will. 6. Every door that must remain closed for my protection, give me the grace to leave it closed. 7. Lord, open the doors that align with Your purpose for my life. 8. Father, strengthen my faith when I cannot understand what You are doing. 9. Every good thing You have ordained for my life, let no power of darkness permanently hinder it. 10. Lord Jesus, let my life become a testimony that even through closed doors, You were working for my good. CALL TO ACTION Beloved, don't spend the rest of your life standing in front of a door God has already closed. There is a time to knock. There is a time to wait. There is also a time to walk away. If God closed it, trust Him. If God blocked it, thank Him. If God redirected you, follow Him. If God is preparing another door, wait for Him. You may not understand the closure today. But one day you may look back and say: “Thank God that door did not open.” The door you are crying over today may be the very door God closed because He saw something you could not see. So dry your tears. Strengthen your faith. Lift your eyes. Your story is not over. There is still purpose. There is still grace. There is still a future. And there are doors that only God can open. DECLARE BY FAITH: “I will not die at a closed door. I will not force what God has closed. I will not allow rejection to destroy my faith. I will trust God's direction. I will follow His purpose.
