• *Creating a Heart of Gratitude*

One of the most powerful emotions is gratitude. If we can find ways to be thankful and grateful throughout our life, we will find the power and emotional strength to walk through some of life’s hardest seasons.

It's not always easy to find ways to be thankful and grateful. But, one of the things Scripture teaches us throughout the Psalms is that there is always something to be grateful for.

The Psalms teach us various songs and poems for every season of our life. But more than that, they also teach us how to cultivate a heart of gratitude and worship towards God.

We belong to a God who loves us and cares deeply for us. God’s love and goodness will never end. *Psalm 100:5* praises God for these things:
*"For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."*

Through Psalms like this, we can begin to build a habit of gratitude towards God and all that He has done. We can thank God for what He has done in our lives, what He is currently doing, and what He will do in the future as we follow after Him.

Because God is always good, loving, and faithful, there is always something we can be grateful for—even in the midst of difficult seasons of life.

Let's take a few moments daily to strengthen the habit of gratitude in our life.

    - First, we begin by thanking God for who He is: that He is good, faithful, and loving towards us.
    - Next, we thank God for all that He has done. Thanking Him for the good things in our life, and that He has walked with us through the hard times.
    - Lastly, thankful to God for all He will continue to do in the days and years to come. He is trustworthy!

    *Thank God For His GoodNess*
Father God, nothing is impossible for You. You love us even when we are unloveable. You are good to us even when we don’t deserve it. You are kind and compassionate toward us even when we mess up. You show us what faithful love looks like. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking us! Today, remind us of all the ways You have shown up in our life. You are worthy of our worship. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

Theme: BUILDING A SAFE HOME: Creating a Marriage Where Love Respect and Peace Can Grow.

    Reflection
Money can easily become a source of tension when couples stop seeing it as a shared responsibility.
Today, take a quiet moment to remember that your spouse is not your financial opponent. You are partners, and the goal is not to prove who is right but to build a secure and responsible future together.
Even when resources are limited, unity, honesty and wise planning can help protect peace in the home.

    God's Word
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour." — Ecclesiastes 4:9

    Heart Check
Are we facing our financial challenges together, or are we allowing money to create distance between us?

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, give us wisdom and discipline in managing the resources You have entrusted to us. Help us communicate honestly about money and make financial decisions together. Keep greed, secrecy and resentment far from our home. May our finances serve our marriage rather than divide it. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    Remember
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.

  • There is no need too great, no wound too deep, no battle too fierce, and no valley too dark for the name of Jesus.

When I feel unseen, He is El Roi—the God who sees me.
When I am in need, He is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides.
When I am hurting, He is Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals.
When my heart is troubled, He is Jehovah Shalom—the Lord who is peace.
When the battle surrounds me, He is Jehovah Nissi—the Lord who is my banner.
When I lose my way, He is Jehovah Rohi—the Lord who is my Shepherd.
When I am weak, He is El Shaddai—God Almighty.
When sin condemns me, He is Jehovah Tsidkenu—the Lord my righteousness.
When the future is uncertain, He is Alpha and Omega—the Beginning and the End.

Different names revealing one faithful God. One truth. One Savior. Jesus—the Name above every name.

Whatever you are facing today, call upon His name. His name still saves. His name still heals. His name still provides. His name still protects. His name still brings peace.

“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” — Philippians 2:10–11

    Your Prayers Can Start Revival

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Ezekiel was a priest who had been carried away by King Nebuchadnezzar and forced to settle in Tel Abib on the Chebar Canal in Babylon. As this man grew older, he grew both hungry for God and lonesome for his homeland, one that we know as Israel today.

God revealed Himself to Ezekiel and told him of great things which were in the future for Israel. He explained, “The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’“ (Ezekiel 37:1-3). Talk about having to answer the Teacher! What do you say when God asks you a question? Dead bones are lifeless, hopeless—they’re finished.

Yet, and this is what Ezekiel knew, God alone can reverse the hopelessness of dead bones, and wisely, very wisely, Ezekiel answered, “O Sovereign LORD, you alone know!” Good answer! He passed the test. Then God told him to prophesy that breath would enter into them, tendons would be attached, then flesh, then life. Re-creation! It was a picture of Israel’s restoration. It is also a picture of what God does individually and corporately when He chooses to revive His people.

While revivals—genuine spiritual renewals born of the Holy Spirit—have been milestones of the church from the days of the book of Acts to the present, they are the exception, not the normal, day-by-day, year-by-year sort of thing. Question: Is it possible that in the immediate future, God may again bring revival to His people around the world?

Ezekiel called God, “Sovereign.” He knew that God answers to none, and that He is the one who responds to the cries of His people, asking Him to revive them and to restore them to the place of joy and service they once had.

A history of revivals shows that while a Sovereign God does revive His people, they come in response to the cries of His people. Long ago God outlined the conditions which are necessary for revival. He said, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Are revivals simply a display of emotionalism or fanaticism? Not at all. They are displays of repentance, a searching for God, and the desire to be rejuvenated spiritually.

In the early 1900’s, a revival swept the little country of Wales—it was birthed in a prayer meeting. An 18-year-old girl stood to her feet and she said, “I do love Jesus …” Starting to weep, she repeated those words, then sat down unable to speak. In the 1960’s, a spiritual awakening began at the FEBIAS College of the Bible, when missionary Chuck Holsinger spoke in the chapel and said, “The love of God, I cannot understand it,” and like a tidal wave which came from above, something swept over the students, who were confronted with the reality of God’s presence. What should have been a 50-minute service became an all-day prayer meeting that began something with far, far-reaching consequences.

If your church is a valley of dry bones, there is hope.

  • Conflict and Courage.
    Habakkuk
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:4.
At the time Josiah began to rule, and for many years before, the truehearted in Judah were questioning whether God's promises to ancient Israel could ever be fulfilled....

These anxious questionings were voiced by the prophet Habakkuk. Viewing the situation of the faithful in his day, he expressed the burden of his heart in the inquiry: “O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear!” ... And then, his faith reaching out beyond the forbidding prospect of the immediate future, and laying fast hold on the precious promises that reveal God's love for His trusting children, the prophet added, “We shall not die.” With this declaration of faith he rested his case, and that of every believing Israelite, in the hands of a compassionate God....

The faith that strengthened Habakkuk and all the holy and the just in those days of deep trial was the same faith that sustains God's people today. In the darkest hours, under circumstances the most forbidding, the Christian believer may keep his soul stayed upon the source of all light and power. Day by day, through faith in God, his hope and courage may be renewed. “The just shall live by his faith.” ...

We must cherish and cultivate the faith of which prophets and apostles have testified—the faith that lays hold on the promises of God and waits for deliverance in His appointed time and way. The sure word of prophecy will meet its final fulfillment in the glorious advent of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as King of kings and Lord of lords.... With the prophet who endeavored to encourage Judah in a time of unparalleled apostasy, let us confidently declare, “The Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.” Let us ever hold in remembrance the cheering message, “The vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.” 36Prophets and Kings, 384-388.

  • DAY 24 - Morning
Theme: BUILDING A SAFE HOME: Creating a Marriage Where Love Respect and Peace Can Grow

    Reflection
Money Should Not Become the Master

    Good morning,
Money can provide opportunities, but money can also become a source of serious tension in marriage.
One spouse may be a saver.
The other may be a spender.
One may believe in supporting extended family generously.
The other may be thinking about school fees, rent, investments and the future.
    These differences need conversation—not secrecy.
A marriage becomes stronger when couples can sit together and honestly discuss:
    What do we have?
    What do we owe?
    What do we need?
    What are we saving for?
How can we help family without damaging our own household?
    Money should serve the marriage.
    It should not rule it.

    God's Word
"The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." — Proverbs 21:5

    Today's Love Action
Have a calm conversation with your spouse about one financial goal you want to pursue together.

    Let's Talk
What financial habit would strengthen our marriage most?

    Prayer
Father, give us wisdom, discipline and unity in managing the resources You have entrusted to us. Amen.

    From The Counselor's Chair
Financial disagreements are often not only about money. They can involve security, expectations, family obligations and different experiences from childhood. Listen for the concern underneath the disagreement.

    Marriage Nugget
"Don't let money become the third voice controlling your marriage."

    Remember
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.

  • PROPHETIC DECREES

    1. I decree that this Monday, the Lord is shifting things in my favor. Situations that have remained stubborn shall begin to respond to divine intervention, in Jesus' name.

    2. I decree that no blessing prepared for me this week shall pass me by. I receive the wisdom to recognize my opportunities and the courage to walk through every right door, in Jesus' name.

    3. I decree that every cycle of near-success, repeated disappointment, and unnecessary delay is broken over my life. I enter a season where my efforts produce tangible results, in Jesus' name.

    4. I decree that my name shall be mentioned in rooms of opportunity, influence, and favor. I shall receive recommendations and invitations that move me forward, in Jesus' name.

    5. I decree that God is turning ordinary encounters into extraordinary opportunities. One conversation, one connection, or one decision this week shall become a doorway to greater things, in Jesus' name.

    6. I decree that every confusion concerning my next step is replaced with clarity. I shall know what to pursue, what to avoid, and when to move, in Jesus' name.

    7. I decree that the work of my hands shall not be wasted. Every genuine effort I make this week shall carry measurable fruit, and my labor shall speak for me, in Jesus' name.

    8. I decree that every good thing that appeared impossible is coming under the power of God's possibility. I refuse to measure my future by my present circumstances, in Jesus' name.

    9. I decree that unexpected good news shall locate me this week. I shall receive reasons to smile, celebrate, and give thanks for the faithfulness of God, in Jesus' name.

    10. I decree that this week shall not end the way it began. By the time these seven days are complete, I shall have visible evidence of progress, answered prayers, divine favor, and fresh testimonies, in Jesus' name.
