• Dear Father,

While reading through the book of Jeremiah, I came across his prophecy against Babylon. It says, "Therefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations." It has been almost 2,700 years since this prophecy was made, and Babylon, which was once the greatest city of its age, is no longer a living city but is filled with archaeological ruins.

How deeply profound, Father. After 2,700 years! I've come across several other biblical prophecies that are now our reality, and it almost feels right to ask, how did You not forget? How has everything fallen into place just as You said it would? And whenever there was a change, a word from You preceded it. How are You so detailed, and yet so faithful?

Look at what this implies. Time has a way of convincing us that silence means forgetfulness. So much that our greatest temptation in seasons of waiting is amnesia. We forget Your goodness long before You ever forget Your word, and we act as though the God who governs galaxies might overlook one small life. So we stop counting the days, stop expecting, and slowly stop believing. But do You forget?

I think unbelief is a side effect of our humanity. We often measure divine promises with human scales, forgetting to put our humanity aside. So, in our limitations, we try to measure You, concluding that the weight of the world has somehow pushed our story to the bottom of Your priorities. Yet, do You ever forget?

  • โ€ Gโ€™day

    DAY 2 โ€“ A Generational Testimony
What story will your children sing about God?

    #WorshipAndTheWord โ€“ A Generational Testimony
    #GoodnessOfGod #BethelMusic
You were born to carry a testimony that outlives you.
Through the cross, Jesus turned judgment into mercy. He bore our consumption so we could inherit compassion that never fails. Because He lives, the goodness of God is not a moment, it is a Person running after your family line, in every language and every home.

This changes how we mother, father, and disciple. You don't just survive the day, you steward a sound. In English, en Espaรฑol, sa Tagalog, the same testimony rises: God has been faithful. Your life becomes the lyric your children learn before they learn doctrine.

    One Generation to the Next
Faith is not meant to be private, it is meant to be passed.
    Psalm 145:4 (BSB)
"One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts"
Parents don't just tell stories, they transfer encounter. What you commend today becomes what they confess tomorrow.

    New Every Morning
Mercy doesn't run out when the night is long.
    Lamentations 3:22-23 (BSB)
"Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!"
Across every culture and kitchen table, His compassions reset with the sunrise. Great is Your faithfulness, yesterday, today, and for your children's children.

    Goodness That Follows
His goodness doesn't visit, it pursues.
    Psalm 23:6 (BSB)
"Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
This is the anthem of a generational life, not chased by fear, but followed by goodness.

    Beloved:
Rise and take your place as a testimony carrier. Your womb, your home, your voice is an altar where the next generation meets the Faithful One.
You are not just a survivor of hard seasons, you are a witness. Reject the lie that your past disqualifies your children, reject the fear that culture will steal them, reject the silence that says God was good once. Walk in the truth that His mercy is new this morning and His goodness is running after your bloodline. Let's live it out today, sing it in your language, pray it over their pillows, declare it at your table.
Your life will preach louder than your sermons. Let them hear you sing "all my life You have been faithful" until it becomes their first language of faith.

    Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for Your great love that has kept my family, and for Your faithfulness that never fails.
I reject the lie that my story ends with me. I reject generational cycles of fear and forgetfulness. I receive Your commission to commend Your works to the next generation.
Holy Spirit, empower me to live a loud testimony in English, Spanish, and Tagalog, in word and in worship. Make my home a house of remembrance where Your goodness is sung daily.
I declare I am a generational witness, my children will know the Lord, and surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives.
    In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
