• Day - 24 - Evening

Theme: BUILDING A SAFE HOME: Creating a Marriage Where Love Respect and Peace Can Grow.

    Reflection
Money can easily become a source of tension when couples stop seeing it as a shared responsibility.
Today, take a quiet moment to remember that your spouse is not your financial opponent. You are partners, and the goal is not to prove who is right but to build a secure and responsible future together.
Even when resources are limited, unity, honesty and wise planning can help protect peace in the home.

    God's Word
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour." — Ecclesiastes 4:9

    Heart Check
Are we facing our financial challenges together, or are we allowing money to create distance between us?

    Prayer
Heavenly Father, give us wisdom and discipline in managing the resources You have entrusted to us. Help us communicate honestly about money and make financial decisions together. Keep greed, secrecy and resentment far from our home. May our finances serve our marriage rather than divide it. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    Remember
In marriage, it is not about winning the argument; it is about winning each other's hearts.

  • THE POWER OF UNITY

    Together We Are Stronger

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE

Psalm 133:1 (KJV) “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

    1. UNITY BRINGS STRENGTH

Unity produces peace, strength and progress.

Where there is unity, there is strength.

    2. UNITY DOESN'T MEAN UNIFORMITY

We may have different opinions and gifts, but we can still have one heart and one purpose.

You don't have to agree on everything to walk together.

    3. AVOID DIVISION

Pride, gossip, jealousy and unforgiveness destroy relationships.

Proverbs 16:28 (KJV) “A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.”

Don't be the source of division.

    4. UNITY ATTRACTS BLESSING

Psalm 133:3 (KJV) “...for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

Where God's people walk in unity, God commands blessing.

    5. BE A BUILDER OF UNITY

    1. Forgive.
    2. Love.
    3. Communicate honestly.
    4. Pray for others.
    5. Promote peace.

    KEY LESSON

    1. Unity brings strength.
    2. Division brings weakness.
    3. Forgiveness protects relationships.
    4. Love overcomes differences.
    5. Unity creates room for blessing.

    FINAL CHARGE

Be a bridge, not a wall. Be a peacemaker, not a troublemaker.

    Build unity.
    Protect relationships.
    Walk together in love.

    SHORT PRAYER

Father, give me a heart that values unity and peace. Remove pride, jealousy, bitterness and unforgiveness from me. Help me to love, forgive and respect others. Make me a builder of unity wherever I go. In Jesus' name, Amen.

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
4 because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all the saints—
5 the faith and love proceeding from the hope stored up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel
6 that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood the grace of God.
7 You learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,
8 and who also informed us of your love in the Spirit.

  • There is no need too great, no wound too deep, no battle too fierce, and no valley too dark for the name of Jesus.

When I feel unseen, He is El Roi—the God who sees me.
When I am in need, He is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides.
When I am hurting, He is Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals.
When my heart is troubled, He is Jehovah Shalom—the Lord who is peace.
When the battle surrounds me, He is Jehovah Nissi—the Lord who is my banner.
When I lose my way, He is Jehovah Rohi—the Lord who is my Shepherd.
When I am weak, He is El Shaddai—God Almighty.
When sin condemns me, He is Jehovah Tsidkenu—the Lord my righteousness.
When the future is uncertain, He is Alpha and Omega—the Beginning and the End.

Different names revealing one faithful God. One truth. One Savior. Jesus—the Name above every name.

Whatever you are facing today, call upon His name. His name still saves. His name still heals. His name still provides. His name still protects. His name still brings peace.

“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” — Philippians 2:10–11

  • The command by God to the people of Israel who were taken captive and exiled to Babylon was not to rebel, hate or isolate themselves, but to pray for peace, so that they too can lead peaceful lives.

As believers in Jesus, we too have a responsibility to pray for God's peace and blessings on those around us, and a greater call to pray for their salvation so they too can be at peace with God.

This prayer for peace should extend to all the war-torn nations, and every country where hatred, violence and communal disharmony are rampant.

Have a peaceful day, and let the _'Shalom'_ or _'Peace'_ that Jesus offers rule our hearts and reign over our homes, cities, nations and the world.

  • Yesterday I preached about God's covenant with David and how personal this was; He promised to make David's name great. This occurred just after David asked to build the temple for God, he wanted God to be central within Israel; then he was blessed. When we put God first in our lives, he gives us many promises also; like Be with you; Provide for your needs; Peace amid chaos; Everything will work for good; forgive your sins' strength in weakness, rest, and finally, to never leave you.
These promises are for believers and contain conditions. If you remain in me then I will remain in you. ie.

  • Did you know?
Nothing in this world is more valuable than knowing Jesus Christ personally. Success, possessions, and achievements may satisfy for a season, but they cannot save the soul or give the hope of eternal life. Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me"(John 14:6). God has already shown the depth of His love by giving His only Son, "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"(John 3:16).

To know Christ is more than agreeing with facts about Him—it is trusting Him, following Him, and allowing Him to transform every part of our lives. As Paul wrote, "Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord" (Philippians 3:8). When Jesus becomes the center of our lives, we receive forgiveness, peace with God, and the sure hope of eternal life, a treasure far greater than anything this world could ever offer.

  • Thank You, Lord, for Your Presence
Scripture: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5

Reflection: God’s presence is the steady anchor in every storm. You may not always feel Him, but He is always there — guiding, comforting, protecting, and whispering peace into your spirit. His presence turns fear into courage, loneliness into companionship, and uncertainty into trust. You are never walking alone, not for one moment, not in one valley, not in one struggle. His presence is your constant, your comfort, and your quiet strength.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being near to me in every moment. Let Your presence fill my heart with peace and confidence today. Amen.
