• Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

Today’s verse is one that should make us pause and consider our lives and how we are living them. It is a warning from Jesus to a spiritually complacent church - a church that looks right on the outside but is spiritually dead on the inside. He commands them to remember the Gospel they heard in the beginning and to remember what they felt, what they learned, and to seek that again in repentance. And not doing so will bring consequences.

The church that was being warned in today’s verse is in the city of Sardish. It was a wealthy trade center that was secure and boasted proudly of their city. But they were prone to sudden attacks that came when they grew overconfident and apathetic. It is this historical overview that Jesus used to mirror the spiritual blindness of the church there.

What about you? How is your heart? Are you growing apathetic in your spiritual walk? Are you overconfident in your beliefs that you are secure and living in God’s will? It is important that we pause and evaluate our hearts periodically and seek God’s guidance and direction anew.

Do you remember the excitement you felt when you first became a believer? The joy and peace that filled your heart, the eagerness to know more, the desire to learn and grow… It is easy for us to lose sight of that, to grow complacent and take grace for granted. And the more complacent we grow, the harder it is to find that excitement again.

    But it is not impossible.

And Jesus warns us that we need to repent when we find ourselves in a state of spiritual decline and stagnation and to seek Him once again, to turn to the Gospel that brought us joy in the beginning. We must make the choice to turn from spiritual apathy and to align ourselves with God once again.

Failing to repent and turn back to God can bring consequences. Jesus warned the church of Sardis that He would come like a thief in the night. That is not a reference to His second coming, of His return to earth or the Rapture, though the wording is similar to other passages found in Scripture. Instead, it is a warning that He will come swiftly and unexpectedly to discipline the spiritually sleeping believers. Judgement and discipline come when we least expect it, so it is better to get right with Him now and change those patterns in our lives.

This verse serves as a wake-up call to anyone who has grown overconfident and overly comfortable. It is time to evaluate our internal reality and our heart posture and determine if it is in the right place. Just because we look good on the outside doesn’t mean we are right on the inside. External reputations and appearances don’t matter when it comes to obedience and surrender. Instead, it is our heart that matters and we need to give it to Him fresh and new each day, choosing to align our lives with His will and not our own.

@20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
The Seven Churches weren’t just seven ancient congregations—they’re seven mirrors for every believer today.

Jesus didn’t only speak to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. He is still speaking to hearts today.

Some have lost their first love.
    Some are suffering.
    Some are compromising.
Some tolerate what God calls sin.
Some look alive but are spiritually asleep.
    Some remain faithful.
    Some have become lukewarm.

The question isn’t “Which church was I born into?”

    The question is:

“Which message is Jesus speaking to me today?”

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” — Revelation 2:7

If Jesus wrote a letter to your life today, which of the seven churches do you think it would resemble most?

  • OKAY, LET'S SHAKE THIS TABLE A LITTLE BIT.
ONCE SAVED, FOREVER SAVED!!! HOW TRUE? AND HOW UNTRUE?

Read carefully before casting that stone...

I think we should be very sensitive and conscious of over-emphasizing the narratives on the scriptures in the guise of "revelation." Most Bible passages are as simple as they sound. Let's not over-interpret them first. Let's look at them word for word.

So this is the first question that came to mind, while meditating on the subject of salvation....

Why would names be blotted out from the book of life?

    Revelation 3:4-5
You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.[4][5]

Note: "Who have not defiled their garments" — meaning they were saved (symbolized by the white garment). Secondly, "He who overcomes." What does that mean?

    Let's look further.

    Revelation 21:27
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life

Note: "Anything that defiles." Let's not give that another context. What are the things that defile? Things that cause abomination and lies.

Let's also not forget that this was written to the church, not unbelievers.

    See this too:

    Revelation 22:19
and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

The above reveals the danger in what we supposedly call "revelation" but which has driven us away from the simplicity of this gospel. That alone can cause one’s name to be blotted out. This is why believers must be careful of certain teachings, as they can remove the good conscience left in a believer and lead to deliberately disregarding Christ and His ordinances.

    Now let's move to Repentance.

    Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Four Fishermen Called as Disciples[17]

This was Jesus' first preaching after His wilderness experience, as revealed in the book of Matthew.

Why do we even need to repent? Because salvation doesn't just happen to people on the road. What are we repenting from, even though Christ paid the price?
That means eternal life through salvation is encapsulated in a certain life — which is in Christ Jesus. Therefore, you must first repent and desire that life, embrace it, and be ready to live by it. (Remember Jesus also said, "If any man must follow me, he must first deny himself.")

We all know what the works of the flesh are from the Scriptures, and the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit is the testimony of the life that we have received, and the manifestation of eternal life in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Let's also look at the thief on the cross beside Jesus. Jesus was not just moved out of pity for him, but because he genuinely asked and admitted they had committed the crime — repentance and acceptance of Christ on display — unlike the other thief who spoke otherwise.

JESUS ALSO SAID, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Why should people who are already saved keep His commandments?

Finally, you can see what the Bible says about the last days — that some believers would fall away from the faith. This is why Paul urged us to examine ourselves, to be sure we are still in the faith.

This is where I am heading now:
Salvation is eternal, yes! I can agree it cannot be lost in this sense: No man or spirit can undo what JESUS has done or given. No man or being can take your salvation because it is eternal. So you can't lose it if you hold on to it firmly according to the Scriptures. How do you hold it?

    It is written in:
    Revelation 3:3
Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

    Revelation 2:25-26
But hold fast what you have till I come.
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations

    Revelation 3:11
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

Also, by watching out for false teachers, testing all spirits, and more.

    The point is this:
You cannot lose it because you are in Christ. For Christ saved you into eternity through His Spirit. So we have eternal life because the life of Christ is in us, as shown in Scriptures. And that also means there are certain lives not found in Christ. This is the basis of repentance!!

Can I sin and still be saved? Yes, if I repent according to the Scriptures.
    Proverbs 24:16
For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

Note: He didn't remain on the floor but rose because of the Spirit within him.

What if I continue in sin, my conscience did not reprove me and I refused to repent though I confessed Christ as my Lord and savior? Well then, where is that life of Christ which you received by His spirit through salvation?

And so without apology you can loose salvation Sir/Ma, JESUS DID His part by giving you eternally, you lost it when you refuse accept that life not in Him...

If those that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, then the people THAT Jesus will respond to that "you workers of iniquity, I know you not" even after they called Him Lord "by your name we cast out demons, prophesied and healed the sick" were saved yet He knew them not...

    Revelation 9:20-21
But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Anything outside this, I believe, is dangerous and should be carefully looked into through discernment. You can't just say you don't lose something you repented to receive. If not, the whole world would be considered saved.

And which is better, to endeavor and strive to live a Christ life through the consciousness of the Spirit of God within us or to accept I can do anything with my life even after confessing Christ and still be saved plus settling for the life that will always displease God.

When you plan for the next sin and the next one and assume you are forgiven even for future sins, it means sinning has become habitual, delibrate and a conscious act, so what if you die in the last one?

These writings are plenty, but the subject is just as sensitive as it is. We need to seek to learn and understand the faith we profess. A little excess and a little touch of extremity is all Satan needs to put us in ignorance.
The Scriptures are for one purpose, and that is: To reveal Christ and expose Satan.

May God continue to strengthen our understanding in JESUS' NAME!

OKAY, LET'S SHAKE THIS TABLE A LITTLE BIT. Revelation 3:4-5 You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.[4][5] Note: "Who have not defiled their garments" — meaning they were saved (symbolized by the white garment). Secondly, "He who overcomes." What does that mean? Let's look further. Revelation 21:27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life Note: "Anything that defiles." Let's not give that another context. What are the things that defile? Things that cause abomination and lies. Let's also not forget that this was written to the church, not unbelievers. See this too: Revelation 22:19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Four Fishermen Called as Disciples[17] This was Jesus' first preaching after His wilderness experience, as revealed in the book of Matthew. (Remember Jesus also said, "If any man must follow me, he must first deny himself.") We all know what the works of the flesh are from the Scriptures, and the fruit of the Spirit. • Revelation 3:3 (NLT)
Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great day. Hallelujah.

Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for this new day. Thank You for Your Word that guides us, for Your mercy that sustains us, and for Your Spirit that awakens us. Speak to our hearts today. Amen.

In this passage, Jesus speaks to the church in Sardis, warning them to return to the faith they first embraced. He calls them to hold firmly to the truth, repent, and turn back to Him. The warning is clear: if they remain spiritually asleep, He will come suddenly, like a thief, catching them unprepared. I pray you'll not be among those mentioned in Matthew 7:21-23 that Jesus said "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven"

This message is not only for Sardis but for us today. Many times, we begin our walk with Christ full of zeal, but over time distractions, complacency, or sin creep in. Jesus reminds us to go back to that first love—the faith, joy, and devotion we had when we first believed.

To “wake up” means to be spiritually alert, to guard our hearts, and to live in readiness for Christ’s return. Repentance is not a one-time act but a continual turning back to God whenever we drift.

The promise is powerful: if we hold firmly to the truth and remain awake, we will be ready when He comes. Let us therefore rekindle our faith, renew our devotion, and walk daily in obedience.

God loves you. Stay awake in faith, and have a blessed day and week ahead. Shalom. Shalom.

  • Psalms 73:18, 25-28 NIV My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great morning. Hallelujah. Let's talk about spiritual burnout. We have this theme appearing clearly in the Bible. Here are some examples: Elijah giving up when Ahab's wife , Jezebel, looked forward to kill him. Israelites in wilderness wishing going back to Egypt. Disciple's after Jesus' death going back to their former careers. In most cases, all these characters handled this human weakness badly by loosing faith and then either complaining to God or backsliding. We experience spiritual burnout when we forget to fuel ourselves in God's presence. It is very important for every believer to feed themselves in God's presence like David and Daniel if one wishes to overcome this weakness. It is a big problem when a believer faces this and tries to seek answers from this world. The world has no answers but rather more questions and confusions that only drive you further away way from God though might be promising you to be taking you back to God. When this grows too much, it leads to rebellion to Sovereign God! Joshua at one time became so tired of people backsliding and he sternly told Israelites to choose for themselves who they wanted to serve. Either Almighty God who had rescued them from Egypt or gods of their forefathers. He however stated that he and his family will serve Sovereign God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth who'd had saved him. In conclusion, I leave you with Word of Jesus to church at Sardis in Revelation 3:2 "Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. " Take action child of God and save yourself! God loves you, have a blessed day. Shalom. Shalom.

  • TODAY'S MESSAGE

MANY PEOPLE ARE BUSY IN CHURCH, BUT EMPTY SPIRITUALLY.

    Activity Is Not Always Spirituality
One of the greatest deceptions in the body of Christ today is this: many people are active in church, but disconnected from God internally.
Some sing in the choir but no longer sing in their hearts to God.
Some preach sermons but no longer hear God personally.
Some attend every program but have lost intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Some are busy with titles, meetings, and church activities, yet empty of prayer, holiness, love, and power.
A man can stand in the river and still die of thirst if he never drinks.
God is not only looking for workers in His house — He is looking for worshippers who truly know Him.
Jesus warned the church about this danger. External activity without inward life leads to spiritual dryness.

    Key Bible Verses

    Matthew 7:22–23
    > “Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name… and in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you.”
Jesus was speaking about people who were active spiritually but lacked genuine relationship with Him. They had ministry without intimacy.
    Revelation 3:1
    > “You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.”
The church in Sardis looked alive outwardly, but spiritually it was dying inwardly.
    2 Timothy 3:5
    > “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.”
    This is religion without transformation.
    John 15:5
    > “Without Me, you can do nothing.”
Church activity without Christ produces emptiness.
    1. BUSYNESS IN CHURCH DOES NOT EQUAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH
A person can be occupied with church programs and still be spiritually weak.
Martha was busy serving Jesus, but Mary sat at His feet and received life.
    Luke 10:41–42
    > “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed…”
Jesus was not condemning service. He was correcting misplaced priorities.
    Many believers today:
Know church schedules but not Scripture
Know church politics but not prayer
Know religious language but not God’s voice
God never called us to replace intimacy with activity.
    Spiritual Insight
The devil is comfortable with believers being busy — as long as they remain spiritually empty.
    2. IT IS POSSIBLE TO MINISTER TO OTHERS AND NEGLECT YOUR OWN SOUL
Many workers are pouring out publicly while drying up privately.
A preacher can preach powerful messages and secretly struggle with prayerlessness.
A chorister can lead worship and still not worship God personally.
An usher can organize people while their own spiritual life is disorganized.
    1 Corinthians 9:27
    > “I discipline my body… lest after preaching to others, I myself should become disqualified.”
Even Apostle Paul understood this danger.

    Biblical Example: Samson

Samson carried power outwardly, but spiritually he became careless inwardly. Eventually, he lost strength without realizing it.
    Judges 16:20
    > “He did not know that the Lord had departed from him.”
That is one of the most dangerous spiritual conditions: losing God’s presence without noticing it.
    3. GOD DESIRES RELATIONSHIP MORE THAN RELIGIOUS PERFORMANCE
Christianity is not merely attendance; it is fellowship with Christ.
    God wants:
    Your heart before your service
    Your devotion before your performance
    Your surrender before your sacrifice
    Hosea 6:6
    > “I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”
Many people are performing for God without walking with God.
    Church can become routine:
    Sing songs without meaning them
    Pray without faith
    Read the Bible without meditation
    Attend services without transformation
But God is calling His people back to genuine intimacy.
    4. SPIRITUAL EMPTINESS SHOWS IN DAILY LIFE
When a believer is spiritually empty:
    Little temptation overcomes them
    Prayer becomes a burden
    Worship becomes mechanical
    Sin becomes easier
Anger, bitterness, jealousy, and pride increase
They depend on motivational messages instead of God’s presence
A spiritually empty believer may still look religious externally, but internally there is no fire.
    Galatians 5:22–23
The fruit of the Spirit disappears when intimacy with God is neglected.

    Real-Life Illustration

A phone may look beautiful outside, but without battery power it cannot function.
Many believers look spiritually fine publicly, but privately they are disconnected from the Source.
Church attendance cannot replace daily fellowship with God.
    5. GOD CAN RESTORE THE EMPTY SOUL
The good news is this: spiritual emptiness is not the end.
God specializes in reviving dry hearts.
    Psalm 23:3
    > “He restores my soul.”
    Ezekiel 37:1–10
God brought dry bones back to life again.
No matter how dry, cold, or distant a believer has become, revival is still possible.
    When prayer returns, fire returns.
    When repentance returns, power returns.
    When intimacy returns, joy returns.

    Practical Action Steps

    1. Return to Personal Prayer
Stop depending only on church services for spiritual strength.
Develop a private altar with God daily.
    2. Study the Word Deeply
Do not only listen to sermons — study Scripture personally.
    3. Examine Your Heart Regularly
    Ask yourself:
    Am I growing spiritually?
Do I still hunger for God?
Is my service flowing from love or routine?
    4. Reduce Spiritual Performance
Do not focus on appearing spiritual before people.
Focus on being genuine before God.
    5. Ask the Holy Spirit for Fresh Fire
Revival begins when believers become honest about their condition.

    Questions for Reflection

    1. Am I busy for God but disconnected from God?
    2. When last did I truly enjoy prayer?
    3. Is my spiritual life real privately or only public?
    4. Do I seek God’s presence more than church recognition?
    5. If all church activities stopped today, would my relationship with God still remain strong?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1. Father, deliver me from empty religion in Jesus’ name.
    2. Lord, restore my hunger and passion for You.
    3. Holy Spirit, revive every dry area of my spiritual life.
    4. Father, let my relationship with You become deeper than my church activities.
    5. Lord, remove hypocrisy, spiritual pride, and routine from my life.
    6. Let fresh fire fall upon my prayer life again.
    7. Father, make me spiritually alive and fruitful.

    Call to Action

God is not impressed by mere activity. Heaven is not moved by titles, appearances, or religious performance.
    What matters most is this:
    Do you truly know Him?
    Do you walk with Him?
Is your heart alive toward God?
The church does not only need busy workers. The church needs spiritually alive believers filled with truth, holiness, love, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today, God is calling His people back:
    Back to prayer
    Back to holiness
    Back to intimacy
    Back to genuine Christianity
Do not settle for looking spiritual while dying internally.
May your heart burn for God again.
May your spiritual life come alive again.
May your relationship with Christ become deeper than ever before.
    In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Study the Word Deeply Do not only listen to sermons — study Scripture personally. 3. Examine Your Heart Regularly Ask yourself: Am I growing spiritually? Do I still hunger for God? Is my service flowing from love or routine? 4. Reduce Spiritual Performance Do not focus on appearing spiritual before people. Focus on being genuine before God. 5. Ask the Holy Spirit for Fresh Fire Revival begins when believers become honest about their condition. Questions for Reflection 1. Am I busy for God but disconnected from God? 2. When last did I truly enjoy prayer? 3. Is my spiritual life real privately or only public? 4. Do I seek God’s presence more than church recognition? 5. If all church activities stopped today, would my relationship with God still remain strong? Powerful Prayer Points 1. Call to Action God is not impressed by mere activity. Heaven is not moved by titles, appearances, or religious performance. What matters most is this: Do you truly know Him? Do you walk with Him? Is your heart alive toward God? The church does not only need busy workers. The church needs spiritually alive believers filled with truth, holiness, love, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, God is calling His people back: Back to prayer Back to holiness Back to intimacy Back to genuine Christianity Do not settle for looking spiritual while dying internally. May your heart burn for God again. May your spiritual life come alive again. May your relationship with Christ become deeper than ever before. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. Stay on Your Toes.

    May 14th, 2026

Today’s Bible passage was written and read some two thousand years ago, since Christ first spoke this warning to the church at Sardis. Since we are near the close of history and the return of Jesus—the blessed hope which believers pray to see fulfilled—how much more these words do apply!

Until that great day arrives, the followers of Jesus need to be watchful and vigilant against evil. Just as a railroad train can be derailed by tracks that have been damaged through neglect or vandalism, our journey toward heaven can be thrown off when we succumb to evil.

The Bible often reminds us to keep watch: “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:42). A Christian must keep an eye out for potential pitfalls and stumbling blocks along the way. Even though he was defeated at Calvary, Satan still wants to ensnare those who lose sight of the heavenly prize. This is why the Bible tells us, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

Peter warns us, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Today, we might use the phrase, “Stay on your toes.” Those who are alert are less likely to be deceived than a person who assumes all is well and no dangers are lurking.

Of course, this isn’t to suggest we should walk around in a state of paranoia, thinking everyone or everything is going to come against us. God loves the believer; His angels are there to help. But it’s important to recognize the potential for evil to intrude and to take steps to guard against this. “Be watchful,” Jesus said, and that command is as valid for us today as it was in Sardis those many years ago.

    Apply It:

By believing in Jesus and following His commands, you’ve received an eternal future of happiness and joy. Protect that relationship as diligently as you would anything of great value.

    Dig Deeper:

    Psalm 24:8; Ephesians 6:13–15; Revelation 14:2

    Key Bible Texts
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. (Revelation 3:2 KJV)

  • Revelation 7:9-17 NKJV

    Read Revelation 7:1-8 then

Revelation 7:9-17 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

saying, Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever, Amen."

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"

And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb.

"Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

    "They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;

"for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Revelation 5:9-14 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

And every creatures which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying; "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"

Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped Him who lives forever and ever.

Revelation 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the might men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

"For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

Psalm 3:8 Salvation belongs to the LORD, Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah

Revelation 4:6-11 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creatures was like a flying eagle.

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. and they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!"

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

"You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created."

Revelation 2:22 "Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.

Revelation 3:4-5 "You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.

"He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Revelation 21:3-4 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Isaiah 4:4-6 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning,

then the LORD will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, and cloud and smoke by day and the shinning of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering.

And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storn and rain.

Psalm 121:5-8 The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand.

The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Isaiah 49:10 They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of water He will guide them.

  • Revelation 6:9-11 NKJV

Revelation 6:9-11 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Revelation 8:3-6 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand.

Then the angel took the censer, filed it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Revelation 20:1-6 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

    He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who have been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Revelation 3:1-11 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, "These things says He who has seven Spirits of God and the seven stars; "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.

"Remember therefore how you have received and heard, hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

"You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.

"He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."'

    "And to the angel of the church of Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens";

"I know your works, See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

"Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

"Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

Revelation 11:16-18 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God,

saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth."
