• The Unstoppable Hour.. Why Our Fight is Not with This World

There is a palpable anxiety in the air. We see it in the news, on social media, and in the hushed conversations at our kitchen tables. People are scrambling. They are organizing, petitioning, and protesting. They are trying to stop the political shift, the moral decline, and the geopolitical chaos. They are fighting against the current of the world, attempting to "save" a system that was always destined to collapse. But as believers, we must stop and take a sobering look at the reality of our calling. We are not here to stop the inevitable. We are here to walk through it.

The Apostle Paul made it crystal clear in Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness." When we see the governments of the world aligning, when we see corruption at every level, and when we see nations turning away from the truth, we are witnessing the fulfillment of prophecy, not the failure of humanity. The Bible predicted a time of great corruption (2 Timothy 3:1-5). It predicted that evil would be called good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20).

The tragedy of our time is not that the world is becoming corrupt; the tragedy is that the Church is wasting its energy trying to fix a world that is already under judgment. Those who are the most "active" in trying to save the culture are often the ones inadvertently bringing these things to pass, because they are fighting in the flesh, trying to build a Kingdom on Earth that was never meant to exist here permanently. To understand our role, we must look back at the history of our faith. The Scriptures are full of people who tried to "help" God fulfill His promises, and the results were devastating.

Consider Abraham and Sarah. God promised Abraham a son. But when the years dragged on, Sarah decided to "help" God by giving her servant Hagar to Abraham. The result? Ishmael was born. This decision did not bring the promise sooner; it brought discord, bitterness, and a conflict that has spanned millennia, a conflict we still see in the Middle East today. God did not need Abraham's "help" in the physical realm to bring about the spiritual miracle. He needed Abraham's faith and waiting.

Consider Moses. When Moses saw the oppression of his people, he acted in his own strength. He killed an Egyptian taskmaster, thinking he was delivering his people. Instead, he became a fugitive and delayed God's plan by forty years. Moses had to unlearn his own strength in the desert before God could use him to free Israel. In these times, it will be no different. We are prone to run ahead of God, to create political kingdoms, to try to legislate morality into the hearts of the unregenerate. We call it "saving the nation," but God calls it "strange fire", our own effort offered on His altar, a sacrifice He never asked for.

If we are not to fight the political tide, what are we to do? Good question. We are to be Witnesses. Jesus didn't tell us to take over the world; He told us to preach the Gospel to every creature. He said, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8). We are ambassadors of a Kingdom not of this world. We are to be Lighthouses. In a time of corruption, we are called to be blameless and pure, shining as lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15). Our focus is not on changing the behavior of the world, but on offering the soul of the world a way out.

We are to Pray. Instead of protesting the darkness, we should be praying for the souls of those in power, while trusting that God is sovereign over the rise and fall of nations. The spiritual battle is won on our knees, not on the streets. Look at the world today. Technology is advancing at a rate that allows for the global control and surveillance spoken of in Revelation. Nations are aligning in ways eerily reminiscent of the prophecies of Ezekiel and Daniel. The push for a one-world order, the moral relativism, and the hostility toward absolute truth are all box-checking the signs of the times.

When we try to stop this, we are fighting God's timeline. We are acting like children trying to stop the rain by screaming at the clouds. The rain is coming. The question is: have you built your house on the Rock? The times are serious. The world is racing toward a conclusion that has been written since the foundation of the earth. We must stop panicking over the headlines and start preparing our hearts. We are not called to be reformers of a dying world; we are called to be rescuers of dying souls. Don't waste your energy trying to stop the ship from sinking. Use your energy to get people into the lifeboats. The hull is breached. The prophecies must be fulfilled. But you, you have a job to do.

Do not be deceived by the illusion that you can fight the spiritual battle with physical weapons. The only thing that will save a soul is the Gospel. The only way to stand in the coming storm is to be rooted in the Word. Stop trying to save the world. Start trying to save the lost. The hour is late. The time is now. Choose your side and dig in.

  • On September 30, 2020, I saw in a vision of something I could not shake.

A swarm of flaming locusts sweeping across the globe.

Not cute. Violent swarm carried by the wind.

Not symbolic in some shallow religious way.

    It was violent in purity.
    Ordered in movement.
    Terrifying in holiness.

A living picture of a people seized by God and carried by wind.

Then I heard the Lord say:

“Even so must My people be. Prepare. Make ready. For there comes a final mighty wind of My Spirit to launch you as a flaming army.”

I have carried that word for years.
    Quietly.
    Carefully.
    Soberly.

Because not every vision is meant to be posted the moment it is seen.

Some things must sit in the fear of the Lord long enough to burn the pride out of the messenger.

And I am saying this now with trembling:

I believe the time of preparation is narrowing.

God is not raising up a casual people for a casual hour.

    He is not gathering performers.
    He is not anointing ambition.
He is not breathing on religious noise.

He is preparing a people who know how to wait until the wind comes.

Because locusts do not move alone.
    They move in swarms.
    They move by timing.

They move with a force greater than themselves.

And when the wind takes them, what was hidden becomes unstoppable.

That is what I believe the Spirit of God is doing in the earth.

He is forming a flaming army in the secret place.

    Not famous people.
    Faithful people.

    Not polished people.
    Prepared people.

    Not people addicted to platforms.
People who have been burned clean at the altar.

This is not the hour for borrowed oil.
This is not the hour for loud mouths and empty lamps.

This is not the hour to jump because something looks exciting.

This is the hour to discern the wind of God.

    To know when to wait.
    To know when to move.
    To know when to leap.

Jeremiah 51:10–16 speaks of the Lord bringing forth His righteousness and calling His people to declare His work.

Nahum 3:14–17 speaks of preparation, siege, fire, locusts, and scattering.

There is a pattern here for those with ears to hear.

    Preparation before release.
    Fire before movement.
    Discernment before assignment.
    Formation before harvest.
    And hear me clearly:

The darkness we are called to confront must first be burned out of us.

Because an unpurified vessel cannot carry holy fire without turning it into strange fire.

So I am praying this again.

    Lord, prepare us.

Strip the laziness out of us.
Burn the compromise out of us.
    Deliver us from spiritual performance.

Teach us to discern what is You and what is only noise wearing Your language.

Give us timing to jump so the wind can take us
    Give us obedience.
    Give us holy fire.

Let the mighty wind of Your Spirit come upon a prepared people.

    Make us one body.
    One swarm.
    One flaming army.

    Not to be seen.
    To be sent.

    Not to make a name.
    To bear Your name.
    Not to destroy people.
    To destroy darkness.
Not to consume souls with control.

To gather souls into the harvest of Jesus Christ.

    This is not hype.
    This is warning.
    This is preparation.

This is the sound before the wind.

I’ve seen enough to stay awake.
    I love enough to warn.
I fear God enough to speak.

  • "When the poor and the needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I The Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them."
[18]. "I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water." - Isaiah 41:17-18 KJV.

☆☆☆ Beloved, the poor and the needy are not just those who lack money or the material things of life.
☆☆☆ Somebody may have money, very wealthy and yet still be poor.
☆☆☆ Somebody who has any need in his/her life yet to be met, is poor. It doesn't have to be financial or material needs alone.
☆☆☆ For example, a very rich woman with million of dollars in her account but still trusting God for the fruit of the womb, is poor when it comes to childbearing.
☆☆☆ The fellow who is sick and yet to be free from that sickness is surely poor health wise.
☆☆☆ Beloved, I don't know your own area of needs but I have a God who knows and can meet all needs.

For you this day I therefore decree, every need of your life shall encounter God's divine provision from today in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, where the help of man has failed you, the Lord shall arise to meet your needs in Jesus name.
Once again I decree, fountains of manifold blessings shall spring forth to replace your valleys in Jesus name.
In the name of Jesus I prophesy, your dry land shall enjoy springs of water from today.
Every need in your life that has hitherto experienced delay, shall be promptly met from today in Jesus name.
No more delay for you are now unstoppable in Jesus name.
This is your season of joy and laughter.
It's your set time to manifest.

    Happy day

    Shalom.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    MONDAY AUGUST 10, 2O26.
    "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (1)"

‘…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. Mark10:43 NIV

DISNEYLAND IS referred to as ‘the Magic Kingdom.’ For those who work there, one value is emphasised above all others. It’s what puts the ‘magic’ into that kingdom. What is it? Servanthood! Employees are told that when you walk through those gates, you serve. You treat every encounter with people as if they were your personal guest. If they need directions, you escort them. If they ask a question you’ve heard a hundred times, you answer it as if you’d never heard it before. There’s a ride called the Jungle Cruise, and the most common question asked about it is, ‘How long is this ride?’ So the staff is given a prepared, standard answer: ‘The Jungle Cruise is an exciting adventure ride that lasts ten minutes.’ But one employee had been asked it once too often, so when a couple asked, ‘How long is the Jungle Cruise?’ he said, ‘Three days.’ The couple got out of the line, left the park, went back to Disney Hotel where they were on their honeymoon, packed up their suitcases, checked out, and came back to the line at the Jungle Cruise. The next day the Disneyland employee was gone, and someone else was standing at the line saying, ‘The Jungle Cruise is an exciting adventure ride that lasts ten minutes.’ When you represent God’s kingdom you’re supposed to go out of your way to facilitate people, love them and meet their needs. Why? Because Jesus, Who is the king in this kingdom, said, ‘…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…’ (Matthew 20:28 NIV).

    MONDAY 10TH AUGUST, 2026```

    *A PIVOTAL MOMENT* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```TEXT:ACTS 10:1-8```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God" (ACTS 10:4).*_

*Jack Wugman was walking down the beach one day. He saw an unusual glass bottle. He bent over and picked up the bottle. His life would be forever changed. There was a note inside, from a man named Singer, who invented and perfected the sewing machine. Singer penned a note, WHOEVER FINDS THIS BOTTLE SHALL INHERIT MY WHOLE ESTATE. The judge validated the note, and Jack inherited millions of dollars from a man he had never met. What if Jack never picked up the bottle? It definitely was a pivotal moment in Wugman's life.*

*Not everyone reading this today has a bottle floating out there with a million-dollar inheritance, no. But there are pivotal moments God has set for each of our lives. A life-changing moment that is not orchestrated by man, nor induced by any goodness or nobility any of us may have in our history. Cornelius was said to be a devout man who gave alms to support people. He was not an Israelite, but a Roman soldier, a gentile, outside of the commonwealth of Israel. Being a centurion means he was a leader over 100 men. An angel was sent to him by God to acknowledge his devoutness and alms giving. Knowing that that wasn't enough, he was directed to invite Apostle Peter to expound to him the gospel requirements for salvation more perfectly.*

*The text highlights the significance of understanding Cornelius's character as the key to his esteemed relationship with God, which transcended his position as a centurion. Despite his military rank and prestige, Cornelius's true legacy lay in his love for the Lord and his generosity. His devout lifestyle inspired others, yet it was emphasised that neither good deeds nor religious piety can secure salvation; faith in the Gospel is essential. The angel's visit to Cornelius was not intended to preach the Gospel, as it is divinely decreed that those who have experienced salvation share the Gospel message, underscoring that salvation is a matter of grace through faith, not works.*

*The main lesson here is the need to impact the world with our resources. We are remembered for what we do for others. God has left a far more valuable treasure for us than whatever was promised by Mr. Singer in our introduction. God wants to use us to tell other people about this treasure. We need to urgently preach Christ to our neighbours. He is the only way to eternal life.*

✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*He who shuns the offer of salvation makes vain the sacrifice of Christ.*_

    *ATTITUDE OF APPRECIATION* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```TEXT:LUKE 17:11-19```
    ``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan" (LUKE 17:15-16).*_

*Just like the nine lepers who were cleansed and healed but never returned to show appreciation to Jesus who healed them, so do many find it highly unnecessary to testify of the goodness of God after receiving miracles from Him today. Appreciation is pivotal in our interpersonal relationship with fellow men, needless to talk about our relationship with God.*

*Those who lack this virtue may not go far in their endeavours because appreciation attracts more blessings as we can find from our text that Jesus was pleased with the only person who came back to show gratitude when he was cleansed of his leprosy.*

*John F. Kennedy said, "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." This means our gratitude to God for the good things He has done for us must not be a mere lip service but from the bottom of our hearts.*

    MONDAY, 10TH AUGUST, 2026.

    *THE UNSTOPPABLE GOSPEL*

    *TEXT:* ACTS 10:1-8.

1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
    7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa

*Timeless Truth:*_"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God"_ (Acts 5:39).

    *INTRODUCTION*

There is no way of worshipping God that has faced so much oppositions from both powers and peoples as the gospel of Jesus Christ. If human powers and wisdom could destroy Christianity and the Bible, they would have been destroyed not long after it was birthed at pentecost. The Jewish leaders did all they could to stop the Gospel, but it was birthed by pentecostal power and became dominant among the Jews. The external powers could not stop the spread. Apostle Peter, by the Holy Spirit, opened the door for the evangelization of the Jews at Pentecost in fulfilment of Matthew 16:19 despite the stiff oppositions by the Jews. *"And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom..."* Though Jesus Christ commanded that the Gospel should be preached *"to the uppermost part of the world"*, the mindset of the Apostles was to preach the gospel to the Jews exclusively in *"the uppermost part of the world"*. Jesus had to break this mindset by using Apostle Peter to bring the gospel of salvation to the non-Jews or Gentiles, thus, breaking the internal barrier to the salvation of the Gentiles. This monumental breakthrough in the preaching of the Gospel is the subject of the text.
When God determines to save a soul, no barrier of race, culture, distance, status or tradition can ultimately stop Him. The Gospel advances because God Himself is committed to its fulfilment.

*1. Ardent and Faithful to God*

    a. Cornelius was not the first Gentile convert of the Gospel. Phillip, seven years before then, had preached the gospel that led to the conversion of the Eunuch of Ethiopia (Acts 8). That was made possible through the ministry of an angel. Were it left to Phillip to decide and preach to the Gentile Eunuch, he might have refused. Cornelius and his family were the first Gentile family or household to receive the Gospel and and got converted. Under the Law, we could claim that he was saved and righteous, though a Gentile. *“A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house.”* His deep devotion was backed up by works. *"Who gave much alms to the people and prayed always"*. Under salvation by works, he was a candidate for heaven. However, under the gospel of salvation by grace, he was not qualified for heaven. He needed to know Jesus Christ, the only way to God, and believe the Gospel. *"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If Cornelius had rejected the gospel, but relied only on his righteousness, he would have been damned. *"He that believeth not shall be dammed"*.
    b. The case of Cornelius reinforces the fact that good works and personal righteousness are not enough for salvation. In fact, faithful devotion to God in prayers, fasting and good works are too impotent to bring real salvation to the heart of man. There must be faith in the atoning work of Christ on the Cross and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Outside Christ, *"all our righteousness is as filthy rags"* (Isaiah 64:6).

    *Question*

Do you rely on your good works and self righteousness for salvation?

*2. Angelic Facilitators of the Gospel*

    a. When Phillip, the evangelist, first got a gentile converted, it took the ministry of an angel. The same to Apostle Peter and the conversion of the Cornelius and his family. The conversion of Cornelius was more celebrated and noticed by the Early Church because, unlike the Eunuch of Ethiopia, Cornelius was not only saved, his whole family was included and they also received the baptism with the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in unlearned and unknown language. None of these two ministers would have reached out to those Gentiles without the ministry of the angels because of their biases against Gentiles when it came to salvation of souls. Cornelius *"saw in a vision evidently...an angel of God coming"*. The angel called him by name and assured him that his prayers and charitable deeds had come before God as a memorial. Sinners who are sincere with God will always be given the opportunity to know the truth unto salvation. This throws a challenge to Christians to be sensitive to God as to who and when to reach out to a soul. This divine visitation demonstrates that heaven was actively working to bring Cornelius into contact with the Gospel. God was more eager to get him saved than anybody else including Apostle Peter. He is *"not willing that any should perish"*.
    b. God can employ extraordinary means to advance His saving purpose. Angels may facilitate God's work, but they do not replace the preaching of the Gospel. The angel did not preach Christ to Cornelius; instead, he directed Cornelius to send for Apostle Peter. God uses heavenly and earthly instruments together to accomplish His redemptive purposes. The divine-human partnertship are needed to effect the work of God and in particular the preaching of the gospel. Believers therefore, must be prayerful and sensitive to divine guidance in order to be fruitful. The less we rely on the arms of the flesh and the more we put our full confidence and trust in the guidance of the power of the Holy Spirit, the more fruitful we will be in the work of soulwinning.

    *Question*

Am I available for God to use me as an instrument through whom someone else may hear and receive the Gospel? Do I wait on God to receive divine guidance in soulwinning?

    *3. Assignment Towards Gospel Fullness*

Cornelius' salvation is rooted in his obedience to the voice of God and not the voice of any other. He was not only saved, but was baptized with the Holy Spirit. It must be observed that apart from the fact that Phillip did not publish the conversion of the Eunuch, he did not minister the baptism with the Holy Ghost to him. Cornelius and his household were baptized with the Holy Spirit while Apostle Peter was still preaching. There was an uproar and noise that the Gentiles could get the same experience of power of the Holy Spirit. The world cannot receive the Holy Spirit and the devils hate the power of the Holy Spirit too for obvious reasons. Salvation in Christ Jesus is a complete salvation. However, salvation without the power of the Holy Spirit is insufficient for a believer to do great exploits for God and be a terror to the kingdom of darkness. The Holy Spirit is given to them that obey Him. *"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him"* (Acts 5:32). Cornelius did not delay, debate or disregard the divine instruction. His obedience became an important link in God's plan to bring the fullness of the Gospel to his household.
This reminds us that divine instructions demand human cooperation. God may open doors, prepare hearts and arrange circumstances, but believers must respond obediently.

    *Question*

What Gospel assignment has God placed before me and am I faithfully obeying Him without delay like Cornelius and Apostle Peter did?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Lord, teach me more never to rely on my personal goodness and righteousness for divine favour and salvation .
2.Father, make me a willing instrument through whom You can facilitate the spread of the Gospel to others. Help me to be sensitive to divine guidance .
3.Lord, I ask for more power of the Holy Spirit for more fruitfulness in the preaching of the gospel .
4.Father, give understanding to the church goers (you can mention names) who are not yet saved because they are trusting their self righteousness and good works and help them to get real and genuine salvation in Christ.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. ⏤ 1 John 3:1

We are all missionaries. Wherever we go we either bring people nearer to Christ or we repel them from Christ. ⏤ Eric Liddell

O God, we are grateful that we are Your children. We are not just Your creations. You made the stars, the birds, and the flowers, but unlike them, You made us in Your own image and gave us immortal souls. We thank You for the special place we hold in creation. Help us to live up to the dignity of being Your children and to live as Your children should.

You created us with a purpose. You have a plan for each of our lives—something You intend for us to be and to do. We want to fulfill Your purpose for us. Help us to accept Your will and to do what You would have us do. As we go out into the world this morning, guide us in the path You have set for us. We want to serve our generation. Show us what You would have us do and enable us to do it.

Fill our hearts with Your love so that we may see the world as You see it. May we look upon others with Your compassion, patience, and a desire to help. Though our efforts may seem small in this vast world, help us to trust that no true work done for You is ever in vain. Help us to make our little corner of the world holier, brighter, sweeter, and happier. Help us to live out Your life in the place You have assigned us, serving those around us. In this way, we shall be a blessing to our small part of the world.

Give us a day filled with Your love and grace, our Father. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀💝🌺🎁🌹🎀 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY MONDAY AUGUST 10, 2O26. "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (1)" ‘…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant. Mark10:43 NIV DISNEYLAND IS referred to as ‘the Magic Kingdom.’ For those who work there, one value is emphasised above all others. It definitely was a pivotal moment in Wugman's life.* *Not everyone reading this today has a bottle floating out there with a million-dollar inheritance, no. Knowing that that wasn't enough, he was directed to invite Apostle Peter to expound to him the gospel requirements for salvation more perfectly.* *The text highlights the significance of understanding Cornelius's character as the key to his esteemed relationship with God, which transcended his position as a centurion. Despite his military rank and prestige, Cornelius's true legacy lay in his love for the Lord and his generosity. His devout lifestyle inspired others, yet it was emphasised that neither good deeds nor religious piety can secure salvation; faith in the Gospel is essential. The angel's visit to Cornelius was not intended to preach the Gospel, as it is divinely decreed that those who have experienced salvation share the Gospel message, underscoring that salvation is a matter of grace through faith, not works.* *The main lesson here is the need to impact the world with our resources. We are remembered for what we do for others. God has left a far more valuable treasure for us than whatever was promised by Mr. Singer in our introduction. God wants to use us to tell other people about this treasure. We need to urgently preach Christ to our neighbours. He is the only way to eternal life.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*He who shuns the offer of salvation makes vain the sacrifice of Christ.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *JOB 5-8*📜📜 A Pivotal Moment https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 158: COME BELIEVING; GHS 106: TELL THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD; GHS 107: GO AND TELL THEM; AND GHS 124 CHRIST RECEIVETH SINFUL MEN* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna10thAugust2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [09/08, 7:49 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```MONDAY 10TH AUGUST, 2026``` *ATTITUDE OF APPRECIATION* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:LUKE 17:11-19```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan" (LUKE 17:15-16).*_ *Just like the nine lepers who were cleansed and healed but never returned to show appreciation to Jesus who healed them, so do many find it highly unnecessary to testify of the goodness of God after receiving miracles from Him today. Kennedy said, "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." This means our gratitude to God for the good things He has done for us must not be a mere lip service but from the bottom of our hearts.* *Attitude of appreciation solidifies the miracles or breakthroughs we receive from the Lord. Help us to live up to the dignity of being Your children and to live as Your children should. You created us with a purpose. You have a plan for each of our lives—something You intend for us to be and to do. We want to fulfill Your purpose for us. Help us to accept Your will and to do what You would have us do. • HOW TO STIR THE ANOINTING AFTER THE WILDERNESS

What do you do when you once burned brightly for God, flowed freely in the Spirit, ministered with power—and then walked through a wilderness so long and painful that you barely recognize yourself anymore?

    Maybe you fell.

    Maybe you compromised.

    Maybe disappointment wore you down.

Maybe prayer became difficult, worship became quiet, and what once felt like a river now feels like a trickle.

And now God is calling you forward again.

    But you’re wondering:

    “Where did the anointing go?”

Here is something you need to understand:

You may not have lost everything you think you lost.

    Paul told Timothy:

“Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you…” — 2 Timothy 1:6

He did not tell Timothy to go find another gift.

He told him to stir what was already there.

    Sometimes the fire hasn’t disappeared.

It has become embers buried beneath exhaustion, disappointment, failure, shame, and years of spiritual warfare.

And God begins blowing on the embers again.

But this time, the fire may look different.

STOP TRYING TO BECOME WHO YOU WERE

This is one of the greatest traps after the wilderness.

You remember who you used to be.

    You remember how you prayed.

You remember how easily you heard God.

    You remember the boldness.

    You remember the manifestations.

    You remember the fire.

So every new experience gets compared to the old one.

“Why don’t I feel what I felt before?”

“Why am I not flowing like I used to?”

    “Why does everything feel harder?”

Because God may not be restoring the old version of you.

He may be revealing the man or woman who came THROUGH the wilderness.

Jacob went into his encounter walking normally.

    He came out blessed…

    but limping.

“The sun rose on him as he passed over Penuel, and he limped because of his thigh.” — Genesis 32:31

Sometimes you come out of the wilderness with a limp.

But you also come out carrying something you didn’t have before.

    Humility.

    Compassion.

    Discernment.

    Dependence on God.

    Mercy for broken people.

    Understanding for prodigals.

    You may move slower now.

But you may carry more weight.

    1. RETURN TO THE SECRET PLACE

The anointing is not primarily restored on a platform.

    It is cultivated in private.

    Get alone with Jesus again.

    Not to prepare a sermon.

Not to get a prophetic word.

    Not to produce content.

    Just to know Him.

    Read the Word slowly.

    Pray honestly.

Worship even when you feel nothing.

    Sit quietly.

    Talk to God.

    Cry if you need to.

Let the relationship become more important than the manifestation.

Before God restores public ministry, He often restores private intimacy.

    2. REPENT WITHOUT LIVING IN CONDEMNATION

If there was compromise, deal with it honestly.

    Call sin what it is.

    Confess it.

    Turn from it.

    Receive forgiveness.

Then stop digging up what the blood of Jesus has covered.

David fell terribly, yet he prayed:

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation… Then I will teach transgressors your ways.” — Psalm 51:12–13

    Notice what came after restoration:

    Ministry.

Failure did not have to become David’s final identity.

    Neither does yours.

    3. STOP CHASING THE FEELING OF THE ANOINTING

    The anointing is not goosebumps.

    It is not emotion.

It is not always trembling, crying, heat, electricity, or overwhelming spiritual sensation.

    Those things can happen.

But the Holy Spirit can be working powerfully when you feel almost nothing.

    Faithfulness is spiritual too.

    Obedience is spiritual.

    Love is spiritual.

    Serving is spiritual.

Showing up when you feel empty is spiritual.

    Jesus said:

“Apart from me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5

The goal is not to feel powerful.

The goal is to remain connected to the Vine.

    4. BEGIN OBEYING THE SMALL PROMPTINGS AGAIN

Don’t wait for the giant prophetic encounter.

    Start with the whisper.

Call the person God puts on your heart.

    Encourage someone.

    Pray for someone.

    Share the Gospel.

Give the word God gives you.

    Serve the hurting person.

Sit with the teenager nobody notices.

    Spiritual sensitivity grows through obedience.

Sometimes the river starts with one drop.

    Then another.

    Then another.

Until suddenly you realize you’re standing in water again.

    5. USE THE GIFT AGAIN

A muscle that has not been used in years feels weak.

That does not mean the muscle is gone.

    It means it needs strengthening.

    If you’re called to preach—preach.

    If you’re called to evangelize—evangelize.

If you’re prophetic—listen, test, pray, and speak when God genuinely gives something.

If you’re called to shepherd—love people.

    You may feel rusty.

    You may stumble.

    You may question yourself.

    That is okay.

    Don’t manufacture anything.

    Just practice obedience again.

The bicycle feels strange after ten years.

    But the balance comes back.

    6. LET THE WILDERNESS CHANGE HOW YOU MINISTER

Before the wilderness, you may have known the power of God.

After the wilderness, you know the mercy of God.

Before the wilderness, you knew how to preach to the broken.

    Now you may understand them.

Before the wilderness, you could tell the prodigal to come home.

Now you know what the road home feels like.

    That changes ministry.

    Peter denied Jesus.

    Yet Jesus restored him.

    And Jesus did not say:

    “Peter, prove you’re powerful again.”

    He asked:

    “Do you love me?”

    Then He said:

“Feed my sheep.” — John 21:17

    Love Jesus.

    Feed His sheep.

    That is restoration.

    7. ASK FOR FRESH OIL, NOT YESTERDAY’S EXPERIENCE

Don’t spend your prayer life begging God to recreate an old season.

“Lord, make it exactly like it was.”

    Instead pray:

“Holy Spirit, give me what I need for where You are sending me now.”

Yesterday’s oil was for yesterday’s assignment.

You need fresh grace for today.

    Fresh wisdom.

    Fresh compassion.

    Fresh courage.

    Fresh sensitivity.

    Fresh fire.

    8. DON’T DESPISE THE TRICKLE

This may be the most important part.

If all you feel right now is a trickle…

    Honor the trickle.

Don’t insult the beginning because you remember the river.

    Zechariah 4:10 says:

“Who despises the day of small things?”

Some of the greatest movements of God begin almost imperceptibly.

    One prayer.

    One tear.

    One act of obedience.

    One sermon.

    One person encouraged.

    One youth reached.

    One soul saved.

One morning when worship suddenly feels alive again.

And gradually the embers begin glowing.

THE ANOINTING AFTER THE WILDERNESS MAY BE DIFFERENT

Before, you may have walked boldly.

Now you walk with a limp.

Before, you may have felt unstoppable.

    Now you understand dependence.

    Before, you knew fire.

Now you know fire AND mercy.

    Before, you knew gifting.

    Now you understand grace.

And sometimes God can entrust greater weight to the person who has finally learned:

“I cannot do this without Him.”

    Paul wrote:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

    Maybe you aren’t returning weaker.

    Maybe you’re returning safer.

Maybe the wilderness stripped away the illusion that anointing belonged to you.

    Maybe now you understand:

    It was always His.

    FINAL THOUGHT

You do not have to recreate the person you were before the wilderness.

Let God introduce you to who you have become on the other side of it.

    Return to the secret place.

    Repent where necessary.

    Receive His mercy.

    Open your Bible.

    Pray again.

    Worship again.

    Serve again.

    Preach again.

    Love people again.

    Obey the whisper again.

And keep putting wood on the altar.

The fire may not roar immediately.

    But keep tending the flame.

Because buried underneath all those years of wilderness may still be glowing embers waiting for the breath of God.

    Stir up the gift.

    Fan the flame.

    Honor the trickle.

    Walk with the limp.

    And follow Jesus forward.

You are not being called backward into who you were.

You are being called forward into who the wilderness has prepared you to become.

  • QUAD-PALS: 004

Somewhere in Syria, about eight thousand soldiers encamped in an isolated valley.

Amongst the rank and file were some who stooped to roast beef, those who sharpened the swords, and others who stood at attention awaiting orders.

In addition to this, there were about 80 captives seated in a large square drawn on the ground, which was manned by ten guardian soldiers standing at strategic edges.

For weeks on end, they had been on the tail of Pharaoh Necho, the Egyptian emperor ruler, after he fled when his army suffered a colossal loss at the battle by the river Euphrates, in Carchemish, against the Shinar soldiers.

The Shinar army was planning an invasion against another Egyptian vassal, where the fleeing emperor had decided to take refuge.

King Nebuchadnezzar, the commander-in-chief, with certain selected senior army officers, was seated in the bivouac around a rectangular table, studying a hand-drawn map and strategizing on their next operation.

The invasion was tagged Operation Babylon XIX. The term "Babylon" was coined out of the word “Babel.” It was the codename given to Nebuchadnezzar’s vision, which was passed down to him from his forefathers that once inhabited Babel, the capital city of Shinar, hundreds of years back when the vision was first formed.

The vision was to bring all the human inhabitants of the earth and their gods under one jurisdiction. This vision was inscribed in a tablet named The Babela Treaty, which the king always carried around to be presented before conquered kings, rulers, or people.

Rising to his feet, King Nebuchadnezzar started off his briefings in a peremptory commanding fashion, “Attention officers! This battle may prove to be the toughest we have ever fought."

"Pharaoh Necho is not your regular puppet emperor that can be easily tamed; remember that it’s on record that the Egyptian Army once put out of action the late, articulate General Ashur-uballit, who acted in my capacity before my commissioning, with the 1000 seasoned soldiers under his command, all thanks to this Egyptian ruler!”

“Besides, the Egyptian Army boasts of possessing one of the best weapons and military minds in the world, which they have successfully employed in destroying other nations and in bringing them into subjection."

"However, that’s history now; we have torn them apart, and we are taking their leader down this time because we are stronger, insurmountable, and unstoppable!”

“Yes, we are! All the senior officers in the tent responded in unison, in vibrating voices that rent the air.
