Through God's miraculous power, Paul embraced him, and the young man was restored to life, bringing great comfort and encouragement to everyone present. While this passage highlights God's miraculous power, it also serves as a reminder of the importance of remaining spiritually alert. Just as physical weariness affected Eutychus, believers must guard against spiritual complacency that can cause us to drift from close fellowship with God. For believers today, God calls us to remain attentive to His Word and active in our relationship with Him. Through regular prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers, our faith is strengthened, and we are prepared to faithfully follow Christ each day. Reflection Questions 1. A Nugget of Truth. The most life-changing decisions don't always begin with a major event. Sometimes they start with a whisper, a seemingly harmless idea, or a voice presenting error as the best path. This is what happened to Eve in the Garden of Eden. The serpent didn't resort to force or reveal its true intentions from the start. It approached with carefully chosen words, sowing doubt about what God had said. Little by little, deception made what was forbidden seem desirable. What began as a conversation ended up becoming a decision that changed the course of human history. The story of Eve reminds us that deception rarely presents itself openly. It often takes on a convincing appearance, offering paths that seem good while concealing consequences that aren't immediately apparent. That's why the Bible emphasizes the importance of remaining attentive to God's truth, which stands firm above any voice that tries to distort it. Eve's story remains an invitation to value the wisdom that comes from the Lord and to recognize that His Word continues to be a sure guide in a world where many ideas seek to take the place of truth. Not every voice deserves our attention, and not every message deserves a place in our hearts. Therefore, Christ calls us to become intentional listeners—people who listen to God's Word, receive it with faith, and put it into practice. The Wisdom of God Beyond King Ahasuerus' Kingship Esther chapter 10 closes with what seems like an ordinary political report, yet it quietly reveals the wisdom and providence of God after the great deliverance of His people. King Ahasuerus was not consumed by the chaos that had unfolded throughout his kingdom. He did not allow the presence of death, political tension, or even the victory of Queen Esther's people to keep him from fulfilling his responsibility as king. Instead, Scripture records that he continued ordering the affairs of his kingdom. He laid a tribute upon the land and the islands of the sea (Esther 10:1). While many lives had been lost during the conflict, the kingdom still needed stability. Taxes supported the administration, defense, and welfare of the empire so that the nation would not collapse into disorder. Wise leadership does not ignore tragedy but restores order after it. God also positioned Mordecai in a place of authority. His promotion was not merely a reward for faithfulness but a provision for the people. Mordecai was described as great among the Jews, accepted by his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his descendants (Esther 10:3). He possessed a heart that cared for people, attentive ears that understood what was happening around him, and wisdom to act on matters that truly affected his community. Interestingly, Queen Esther quietly fades into the background in this final chapter. Her silence does not diminish her importance. Rather, it suggests that she had fulfilled the specific assignment God had entrusted to her. After risking her life, revealing her identity, and interceding for her people, she now enjoys the peace that follows faithful obedience. God often calls His servants to step forward for a season and then quietly step back once His purpose has been accomplished. This points us to the Lord Jesus Christ. Unlike earthly rulers who merely restore temporary order, Christ establishes an everlasting Kingdom. He not only rescued His people from death but secured eternal salvation through His cross and resurrection. Today, He reigns at the Father's right hand, continually interceding for His people until He returns. His Kingdom is marked by righteousness, peace, and justice that will never end. As believers awaiting Christ's return: - Remain faithful in the responsibilities God has given you, even after seasons of difficulty. - Seek the welfare of others rather than personal recognition, following Mordecai's example. - Accept that some assignments are seasonal. Like Esther, be willing to step forward when God calls and step back when your task is complete. - Trust that God continues ordering history even when His work appears quiet. His providence never stops. "For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations." (Psalm 22:28) May we faithfully serve our King until the day the Lord Jesus Christ returns to establish His perfect and eternal Kingdom.

Lord, let Your light shine through my words and actions today. Keep me humble, make me attentive to those who need kindness, and may everything good in me lead others toward You. Amen.

“A heart filled with God’s Word will not be easily filled with the noise of the world.” Our heart is never an empty space. It will always listen to something, receive something, and follow something. The question is—who is filling that space? God’s Word? Or the noise of the world? Today, the world is constantly speaking to us—through people’s opinions, fear, comparison, desires, social pressures, and many other voices that try to fill our thoughts. But God’s Word does not speak only to our ears; it speaks deep into our hearts. Psalm 119:11 — “I have hidden Your word in my heart.” Simply reading God’s Word is not enough; we must hide it in our hearts. Because whatever we store most deeply in our hearts will eventually shape our thoughts, influence our decisions, and determine the direction of our lives. When a room is filled with light, we do not have to fight the darkness to drive it out. When the light comes, the darkness simply disappears. In the same way, when our hearts are filled with God’s Word, even though the noise of the world may surround us, it cannot easily control our lives. The noise of the world changes every day, but God’s Word never changes. Therefore, we must become people whose hearts are more attentive to what God says than to what the world says. Hepsi Sam ✍️

Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 29 juillet 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. (Acts 17:11) How do we listen? The people in Berea set us a good example of how to listen to the preaching of the Word of God. They received the word with all readiness and then searched the Old Testament to find confirmation of the preached word. Their attitude is worthy of imitation:  – Receiving the word with all readiness means being attentive. We pay attention to what God wants to tell us and follow the preaching with great interest. We make every effort to receive the blessing so that we can benefit from the Word.  – Receiving the word with all readiness also means being open. Although the preached word sometimes convicts or rebukes us, we accept it because it comes from God. Instead of resisting the word, we are ready to apply it to our lives so that we can make spiritual progress.  The follow-up at home deepens the blessing we receive from the preaching of the Word. When we carefully reconsider the topic based on the Bible passages presented, and compare the words read with other sections, we recognise whether it is indeed as we have heard. As a result, we can firmly hold onto the good and implement it in our daily lives. How useful is a careful, positive review of what we have heard based on the Bible! This strengthens us in our faith. July 29, 2026 (day 210/365) WEDNESDAY GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY “Listening to God's Voice” Jeremiah 11:4 “Obey My voice, and do according to all that I command you; so shall you be My people, and I will be your God.” This is the Word of God. Jeremiah 11 reminds God's people of the covenant He made with them. His desire was not merely outward religion but hearts that would listen to His voice and walk in obedience. Blessing was found in a faithful relationship with Him. God still calls us to hear His Word and obey it daily. True faith is revealed not only by what we believe but by how we live. As we listen to His voice, we grow closer to Him and experience the joy of walking in His will. May God give us attentive hearts to hear His voice and the courage to obey Him faithfully each day.
