WHEN GOD WRITES ON THE WALL A Call to Examine Your Heart Before God KEY SCRIPTURE “TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.” — Daniel 5:27 (KJV) Thought Of The Day... There are times when God whispers to our hearts. There are times when He sends warnings through His Word, through circumstances, and through people. And then there are moments when God makes His message so unmistakably clear that it can no longer be ignored. Daniel 5 gives us one of the most powerful and sobering examples in all of Scripture. King Belshazzar was surrounded by celebration. The palace was filled with people, food, wine, wealth, music, power, and prestige. To everyone looking from the outside, it appeared that the king had everything under control. But while Belshazzar was celebrating on earth, Heaven was examining his heart. While people were honoring the king, God was weighing the king. While Belshazzar was looking at what he possessed, God was looking at what he had become. Suddenly everything changed. “In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.” — Daniel 5:5 (KJV) The celebration stopped. The king's confidence disappeared. The man who commanded others suddenly had no control over himself. Scripture says: “Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him... and his knees smote one against another.” — Daniel 5:6 (KJV) Belshazzar discovered something that we must never forget: when God speaks, earthly power cannot silence Him. When God exposes something, money cannot cover it. When God pronounces judgment, human influence cannot reverse it. Belshazzar called for the astrologers, Chaldeans, soothsayers, and wise men of Babylon, but none of them could interpret the writing. All the intelligence of Babylon was powerless before a message that came from God. Eventually Daniel was summoned. Daniel had lived faithfully before God for years. Kings had changed. Governments had changed. Circumstances had changed. Daniel had grown older, but his commitment to God had remained. What a testimony! The queen said concerning Daniel: “...there is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods... light and understanding and wisdom... was found in him.” — Daniel 5:11 (KJV) Daniel had developed a reputation that when everybody else was confused, Daniel knew how to seek God. May that become our testimony. When people around us are confused, may they know that we know God. When families experience trouble, may they know there is somebody who knows how to pray. When darkness enters a situation, may our lives carry the light of Christ. Jesus declared: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” — Matthew 5:14 (KJV) Belshazzar offered Daniel wealth, clothing, jewelry, and political promotion if he could interpret the message. But Daniel answered: “Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another...” — Daniel 5:17 (KJV) Daniel's integrity was not for sale. He didn't need the king's money to tell the king God's truth. He wasn't seeking popularity. He wasn't chasing another title. Daniel understood that pleasing God was greater than pleasing people. That same conviction must live within us. There will be times when standing upon God's Word will not make us popular. There will be times when truth will challenge people. There will be times when obedience may cost us opportunities, relationships, applause, or acceptance. But we must be able to say: “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?...” — Galatians 1:10 (KJV) Daniel reminded Belshazzar about Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar had once become lifted up in pride, and God humbled him until he understood: “...that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.” — Daniel 5:21 (KJV) Then Daniel spoke words that should cause every believer to examine his or her heart: “And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this.” — Daniel 5:22 (KJV) Though thou knewest all this. Belshazzar had been given an example. He knew what pride had done before him, but he refused to learn from it. There is a dangerous difference between not knowing God's will and knowing God's will but refusing to obey it. The Bible says: “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” — James 4:17 (KJV) God's patience should never be mistaken for God's approval. Just because judgment has not come does not mean God approves of what we are doing. Sometimes God's delay is actually God's mercy giving us time to repent. “The Lord is... longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” — 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) Belshazzar had also taken the sacred vessels from God's temple and used them during his celebration. He treated what belonged to God as though it were common. Daniel told him: “...thou hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven...” — Daniel 5:23 (KJV) This should cause us to ask ourselves: Have we become too casual with the things of God? Have we become casual about prayer? Casual about worship? Casual about God's Word? Casual about holiness? Casual about our calling? Casual about the gifts God placed inside us? Casual about gathering with other believers? God is loving, gracious, merciful, and compassionate, but He is still holy. “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.” — 1 Peter 1:15 (KJV) Belshazzar praised gods made from silver, gold, brass, iron, wood, and stone. Yet when trouble entered the palace, none of those gods could answer him. How often do people still place their confidence in things that cannot save them? Money cannot save the soul. A career cannot save the soul. A title cannot save the soul. Popularity cannot save the soul. Possessions cannot save the soul. Human relationships cannot take God's place. Jesus asked: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 (KJV) Then Daniel revealed the handwriting: “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.” — Daniel 5:25 (KJV) MENE meant: “God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.” — Daniel 5:26 (KJV) Belshazzar thought he had more time. God said his time had been numbered. That should remind us that every day is a gift from God. Every morning is mercy. Every breath is grace. Every opportunity to pray is precious. Every opportunity to forgive matters. Every opportunity to tell someone about Jesus matters. Every opportunity to obey God matters. David prayed: “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12 (KJV) Then came TEKEL: “Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.” — Daniel 5:27 (KJV) What a frightening statement. Belshazzar had been weighed—not by public opinion, not by his friends, not by his servants, and not by the standards of Babylon. He had been weighed by God. People may celebrate what God is correcting. People may applaud what God is examining. People may be impressed by our gifts while God is concerned about our character. People may see our appearance while God sees our hearts. Scripture declares: “...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV) That brings us to a serious question: If God examined my heart today, what would He find? Would He find humility or pride? Would He find obedience or rebellion? Would He find forgiveness or bitterness? Would He find love or hatred? Would He find integrity when nobody is watching? Would He find genuine faith? Would He find someone seeking His glory—or someone seeking his or her own? This is not about earning salvation. We cannot save ourselves through our works. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works...” — Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV) Our hope is Jesus Christ. But when Christ truly transforms our hearts, our lives should produce evidence of that transformation. Finally came PERES: “Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.” — Daniel 5:28 (KJV) Then Scripture delivers the sobering conclusion: “In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.” — Daniel 5:30 (KJV) That night. Belshazzar started the evening sitting on a throne and ended it having lost everything. He thought he had tomorrow. He didn't. This is why Scripture says: “...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” — 2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV) Don't wait for tomorrow to surrender what God is asking for today. Don't wait until tomorrow to forgive. Don't wait until tomorrow to repent. Don't wait until tomorrow to pray. Don't wait until tomorrow to make things right. Don't wait until tomorrow to answer God's call. And above all, don't wait until tomorrow to come to Jesus. Daniel 5 is not merely about handwriting appearing on a wall. It is about a God who sees beyond appearances and examines the heart. Belshazzar's kingdom is gone. Babylon's glory faded. Its wealth could not last. Its power could not last. Its king could not last. But our God remains. “For I am the LORD, I change not...” — Malachi 3:6 (KJV) Before God ever has to write something on the wall, allow Him to write His Word upon your heart. “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” — Psalm 119:11 (KJV) Let His Word correct you. Let His Word convict you. Let His Word humble you. Let His Word guide you. Let His Word transform you. And when God reveals something in your heart that needs to change, don't run from Him. Run to Him. Because through Jesus Christ there is forgiveness, mercy, restoration, and new life. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9 (KJV) PRAYER... Most Holy and Eternal God, our Father, We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, humbled by Your Word and grateful for Your mercy. Father, search us today. Your Word declares: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.” — Psalm 139:23 (KJV) Lord, shine Your light into every area of our lives. Reveal anything within us that does not please You. If pride has entered our hearts, humble us. If bitterness has entered our hearts, cleanse us. If unforgiveness has taken root, help us forgive. If compromise has entered our lives, give us courage to turn away from it. If we have become casual concerning holy things, restore our reverence for You. If anything has taken Your rightful place in our hearts, tear down every idol and draw us back to You. Father, never allow us to become so comfortable with Your blessings that we forget the One who blessed us. Help us remember that every breath comes from You, every opportunity comes from You, every gift comes from You, and every good thing comes from You. Your Word says: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above...” — James 1:17 (KJV) Give us the spirit of Daniel. Give us wisdom when others are confused. Give us courage when others compromise. Give us integrity when temptation comes. Give us faith when circumstances become difficult. Give us boldness to speak Your truth with love. May we never sell our convictions for acceptance, promotion, popularity, money, or position. Father, teach us to number our days. Help us understand that tomorrow is not promised and today is an opportunity to glorify You. May our lives bring honor to Jesus Christ. May our homes glorify You. May our marriages and families glorify You. May our ministries glorify You. May our workplaces glorify You. May our words glorify You. May our decisions glorify You. And when You examine our hearts, may You find people who sincerely love You, trust You, obey You, and desire to walk according to Your Word. Thank You for Jesus. Thank You that where we have fallen short, the blood of Jesus still cleanses. Thank You that repentance is still available. Thank You that grace is still available. Thank You that mercy is still available. Thank You that restoration is still available. Create within us clean hearts and renew right spirits within us. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10 (KJV) We surrender ourselves completely to You. In the mighty, matchless, wonderful name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen and Amen! DECLARATION... I DECLARE IN THE NAME OF JESUS: My heart belongs to God! My life belongs to God! My family belongs to God! My gifts belong to God! My future belongs to God! My worship belongs to God! I will not allow pride to rule my heart. I will not allow the things of this world to become idols in my life. I will not compromise God's Word for popularity, acceptance, position, possessions, or applause. Like Daniel, I will walk with an excellent spirit. I will stand when others compromise. I will pray when others panic. I will trust God when others doubt. I will speak truth with love. I will honor God publicly and privately. MENE! I understand that my days are numbered, therefore I will make my days count for the glory of God. TEKEL! I understand that God examines the heart, therefore I will walk humbly and sincerely before Him. PERES! I understand that earthly kingdoms, possessions, titles, and accomplishments will pass away, but the Kingdom of God will stand forever. I declare that God's Word will be written upon my heart. I will not wait for the handwriting on the wall before I obey God. TODAY I CHOOSE JESUS! TODAY I CHOOSE HUMILITY! TODAY I CHOOSE OBEDIENCE! TODAY I CHOOSE HOLINESS! TODAY I CHOOSE FAITH! THE TRUE BREAD OF HEAVEN TEACHING SERIES THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (Part 11) ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Matthew 10:20 (NKJV) “For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.” Additional Scripture Reading: Exodus 4:10–12; Luke 12:11–12; Acts 4:8–13; 1 Corinthians 2:4–5; John 14:26 We continue with our series on the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. Another vital ministry of the Holy Spirit is that He gives divine utterance when we need it. Jesus assured His disciples that when they stood before authorities because of their testimony and were required to defend their faith, they should not be consumed with anxiety about what they would say. The Holy Spirit would give them the words to speak. This principle also applies to our ministry of the Gospel. We must not depend merely upon human eloquence, intelligence, education, experience, or natural ability. We need the Holy Spirit. When we surrender ourselves to Him, He can give us the right words, the right timing, and the spiritual power necessary to communicate Christ effectively. The words may come through our mouths, but the Holy Spirit is the One who supplies the divine utterance and brings conviction to the hearts of those who hear. We see this demonstrated in the early church. When Peter and John stood before the rulers and elders, Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke with such boldness and wisdom that those who heard them marvelled. Their confidence was not merely the product of human education or ability; they were vessels through whom the Holy Spirit spoke. Therefore, child of God, never minister merely from your natural ability. Before you speak, yield to the Holy Spirit. Before you teach, preach, counsel, evangelize, or testify, depend upon Him. There are moments when human wisdom will not be sufficient, but the Holy Spirit knows exactly what needs to be said. He knows the heart of the person listening, the need they carry, and the word that can bring light, conviction, encouragement, and transformation. Depend upon the Holy Spirit for divine utterance. Some of the most important doors God opens are doors for the Word. Paul was in prison, yet his prayer wasn’t just “get me out.” He said, “Pray that God may open to us a door for the word.” He wanted access to speak Christ. To share truth. To bring light. Divine Direction And Open Doors this week includes doors to: 1. Influence – A conversation where you can speak life 2. Impact – A platform to share what God has done 3. Purpose – A place where your testimony meets someone’s need God opens doors so the Word can run free. Your job, your business, your family, your social media — they can all be a “door for the Word.” Ask God today: “Lord, open a door for Your Word through me.” Because when the Word goes through, lives change. "DON'T MIX GOSPEL WITH QURAN." TRUTH & ERROR CAN'T WALK TOGETHER! Sermon Title: "Let the Light Shine: Preaching in Truth, Not in Mixture" Text: John 1:5, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Corinthians 6:14, John 17:17 Beloved, I want to speak to you today about how we carry the Gospel. The screenshots you shared are a burden for truth. The heart of the message is this: The light of Christ is enough. Do not mix it with darkness. 1. THE BATTLE OF PREACHING: LIGHT VS DARKNESS John 1:5 — “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” We are in a battle. The person in the message said it well: "I see your battle of preaching with unbelievers." But the battle is not won by compromise. It is won by light. Jesus is that Light. When we preach, we are not arguing opinions. We are bringing light into dark places. And John says the darkness has not overcome it. It cannot. It will not. The enemy’s strategy is to blind. 2 Corinthians 4:4 — “The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.” Satan is called "the father of lies" in John 8:44. His job is to keep people from seeing Christ. So our job as preachers is not to negotiate with darkness. It is to shine brighter. 2. NO FELLOWSHIP BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARKNESS 2 Corinthians 6:14 — “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” The message warns: "avoid to mix gospel with Quran teachings." Why? Because truth and error cannot walk together. Truth sets free - John 8:32 Error confuses - Mixing truth + falsehood creates confusion in yourself and in those who hear you. The apostles never mixed the Gospel with other religions to "make it easier." Acts 4:12 — “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” God of the Bible is enough. His Word is enough. His Spirit is enough to draw men. We don’t need to add to it. Revelation 22:18 warns us not to add or subtract. 3. THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD: OUR ONLY WEAPONS The message asks: "Why can't you only let your preaching be guided by Holy Spirit?" Because the Spirit and the Word never contradict. John 17:17 — “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” John 16:13 — “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” The Holy Spirit does not lead us to dilute the Gospel. He leads us to preach Christ crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:2 — “For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” The apostles preached in the power of the Spirit, and thousands were saved. They did not need another book. They needed the Name of Jesus. 4. BE ROOTED, OR THE ENEMY WILL DECEIVE The message reminds us of Jesus in the wilderness. Satan quoted scripture too, but twisted it. Matthew 4:1-11 “Satan is cunning and can use scriptures if you are not steadfast in thy faith.” When we add to the Word, we give the enemy ground. Truth + false = false. But when we remain rooted in truth, we overcome him just like Jesus did: "It is written..." Ephesians 6:17 — “...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” That is our only offensive weapon. APPLICATION: 3 CALLS FOR US TODAY Be marked by God: Like Revelation 14:1, let the Father’s Name be on your forehead. Live holy so your preaching has authority. Preach the pure Gospel: Use Scripture only. Let the Holy Spirit do the convincing. John 16:8 Pray for unbelievers: The problem is not that the Bible is weak. The problem is blindness. So we pray 2 Corinthians 4:6 — “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” CLOSING PRAYER Father, sanctify us in Your truth. Your Word is truth. Forgive us for times we tried to help You by adding to Your Word. Fill us with the Holy Spirit so we preach with boldness

Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀💝🌺🎁🌹🎀 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY FRIDAY AUGUST 14, 2O26. "PROMISES, PROMISES!' (1)" ‘…when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.’ Hebrews 10:36 NIV. MANY OF us remember singing in church, ‘Every promise in the Book is mine!’ Exciting words—but are they entirely true? If you’ve prayed for the fulfilment of a Bible promise that didn’t materialise, you may have wondered, felt disillusioned, or even stopped trusting. What’s true is that every promise in the Book intended for you, is yours! God is committed to keeping every promise He has made (Matthew 24:35). So how can you know which Bible promises are yours? Here are some scriptural guidelines to help you: 1) Be sure you understand the promise. God is committed to His Word, not to your interpretation of it. When Jesus said, ‘…Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up’ (John 2:19 NKJV), His audience completely misunderstood Him, thinking He meant the literal temple when He meant His body. 2) Walk in the Spirit, not the flesh. Walking in the Spirit, Peter received divine understanding of Christ’s deity. When Jesus asked, ‘Who do you say I am?’ Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘…this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father…’ (Matthew 16:15-17 NIV). Soon afterwards, walking in the flesh, the same man totally misunderstood Jesus and was severely rebuked by Jesus (Matthew 16:21-23). Why? Because ‘…the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God…nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned’ (1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV). Examining the periods of the Christian Reformation, Revival, and Renaissance, he concludes that the darkest hour is often just before the dawn. Consequently, we should always be people of hope and prayer rather than gloom and defeatism. God can turn the situation around in a moment.* *The cleric took lessons from the experience of Habakkuk, the prophet who was struck with terror on learning from the Lord that the land of Judah would be attacked by the fierce Chaldean troops from Babylon. Already disturbed by the iniquities of injustice and impunity around him, on which he expected the Lord to act, Habakkuk was now informed that more disquietude was on the way. The prophet was made to understand that even the Chaldeans, who were to be used as an instrument of punishment, were themselves to face the wrath of God for their wickedness. His anxiety was relieved when he realised that the God of mercy he served was at the point of reviving His people in the process. He went on to intercede for precisely that.* *With humanity now also traumatised by sporadic assaults coming through technological inventions like Artificial Intelligence (AI), wars, insecurity, dysfunctional governance, threats of nuclear conflagration, there are fears that man is on the brink, looking into the bottomless abyss. There are many contemporary cases of revival in addition to the one in Bible days. Jonah was used by God to bring Revival to the people of Nineveh where all the 120,000 inhabitants got convicted and converted. There were revivals in Israel during the time of king Hezekiah and Josiah. The Early Church also experienced great revival immediately after the Pentecost. When there is spiritual coldness and indifference to spiritual things, when there is no clear distinction between the world and the Church, when saints are distracted from heavenly desire to earthly preoccupation, then revival is needed. When the saints are weak, powerless and fainting in scriptural conviction and consecration, then we need revival. When formalism and entertainment fill our worship instead of true and holy devotion to God and heavenly things, revival is needed. In order to experience revival, there must be deep concern and burden for prayer coupled with passion for revival. It takes a revived person to be an instrument of revival. *1. The Man of Prayer* a. The man God uses must be a man of bended knees with power of prayer. *"A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.”* Habakkuk was not merely a prophet who preached; he was also a man who prayed. His direct communication with God was not clogged. God could express His mind and vision to him clearly and He also could hear from God and communicate with God effectively and fruitfully. He was a true servant of God that stood between God and man as mediator. He lived a life that was pleasing to God and God could speak to him about people. He dwelt in the midst of compromised and corrupted people without being defiled and with boldness to declare unto them their sins and evil as God had told him without fear or favour. His response to the difficult circumstances surrounding Judah was to seek God. The spiritual condition of a nation should drive God's servants to their knees. Revival begins when someone becomes sufficiently burdened to pray as he comes out of the cocoon of self seeking and self satisfaction. b. There is no revival that ever came in human history without people who had the passion and power of prayer from God. Habakkuk's prayer demonstrates that prayer is not a sign of weakness, but an expression of dependence upon the Almighty. The revival God wants to bring may begin with one person who is willing to stand before Him in persistent intercession. Churches need prayer warriors who will carry the burden of their generation before God. The praying saints or warriors that bring revival concentrate their prayers on heavenly things and not on earthly benefits and blessings. Earnest, consistent and persistent prayers by holy people with deep burden and passion for the glory of God, salvation of souls and perfection of saints are indispensable to a true God sent revival. *Question* Am I sufficiently burdened by the spiritual condition of my generation to become a man or woman of prayer? *2. The Manifestation of Passion* *"O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid"*. Habakkuk's prayer reveals intense spiritual passion. Having heard God's Word and understood His dealings with His people, he was moved deeply. He was such a person that was not indifferent to the Word of God. The Word of God moved, burned and melted his heart. It became fire in his bones that only revival could quench. First he heard the voice of God. Second he was afraid. He was like Noah who, after hearing the Word of God, believed and *"being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house"* (Hebrews 11:7). True passion for God is not passive. It actively engages in things that will bring change and revival. b. Passion for revival means longing to see God glorified, sinners saved, believers renewed and righteousness restored. Habakkuk did not ask God merely to improve circumstances; he asked Him to revive His work. True revival passion is therefore God-centred rather than man-centred. We must pray until spiritual hunger replaces spiritual complacency. *Question* Does my prayer life demonstrate a genuine passion for God to revive His work in my generation? *3. The Mercy from the Potentate* a. What does this world need desperately from God? Mercy! The degree of worldliness and ungodliness are inexcusable. Man deliberately lives his life, spurning His Word and commandments as if God does not exist. Saints' lives are soiled with carnality, worldliness and corruption. Their focus has shifted from serving the Lord to what mundane things the Lord will give to them. b. Passionate prayer for the mercy of God is an indication that we accept that God has been offended and He is angry at us because of our coldness and carnality. It should always be a prayer point constantly. *“In the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.”* Habakkuk recognized God as the sovereign Potentate who has authority to judge, revive, restore and show mercy. He therefore pleaded, *“in wrath remember mercy.”* Revival cannot be manufactured by human ability; it must come through divine mercy and sovereign intervention. The prophet understood that although God's people might deserve judgment, God's mercy could provide restoration. This should encourage us to approach God humbly and plead for mercy upon the Church, families, communities, and nations. When God shows mercy, dry bones can live again, cold hearts can burn again and His work can flourish again. *Question* Am I humbly pleading with the sovereign God to remember mercy and revive His work in our generation? 📘 Daily Devotion — August 14 | Acts 18:9 (NKJV) 💯 Courage to Keep Speaking As Paul ministered in Corinth, he faced opposition and uncertainty. The work of sharing the gospel was challenging, and there were many reasons he could have become discouraged. In the midst of these difficulties, the Lord appeared to Paul in a vision with a message of comfort and encouragement. God reminded him not to be afraid but to continue boldly proclaiming the gospel. The Lord's words assured Paul that he was not alone. God was with him, protecting him and accomplishing His purposes through his faithful service. This encouragement gave Paul the confidence to remain in Corinth, where many people came to believe in Jesus Christ. For believers today, this verse reminds us that fear should never silence our witness for Christ. Whether we face rejection, uncertainty, or opposition, God promises His presence with those who faithfully serve Him. We can speak the truth with courage because He is always with us.
