EUPHORIA Devotional (The spirit of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God) August 27, 2025 BECAUSE OF THE ANOINTING REV. AROME E. TOKULA Isaiah 10:27 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his BURDEN SHALL BE TAKEN AWAY from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be DESTROYED BECAUSE OF THE ANOINTING.” The anointing is the power of God that removes yokes from people’s necks and burdens from off their shoulders. Sicknesses, oppression and poverty are yokes and burdens that the devil puts on people but thank God for the anointing of His Spirit. The Bible tells in Acts 10:38 that this yoke-removing, burden-removing power was upon Jesus and through this anointing, He was able to do good to many by healing their sicknesses and freeing all that were oppressed by the devil. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and this same anointing is still available today to do good by destroying any kind of sickness, satanic manipulation and oppression. The Bible says the yoke will be destroyed or obliterated by the anointing. The Bible didn’t say that the yoke will be destroyed because you have a university degree. It won’t be destroyed because you visited a renowned doctor. (I don’t have a problem with doctors, I believe there are anointed doctors). Financial institutions or political affiliations cannot destroy yokes because the answer to yokes and burdens is the anointing. The New International Version renders Isaiah 10:27 thus: “In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken BECAUSE YOU HAVE GROWN SO FAT.” This gives us the picture of someone outgrowing something such that it no longer fits. This means when the anointing comes certain things like sickness and disease will no longer fit on you! By the power of the anointing, you are fattened (in the spirit) that you outgrow sickness. In those days, yokes were put on the necks of animals to plough farms but a time comes when those yokes don’t fit on the necks of those animals any longer because they become so fat. Do you remember the clothes you used to wear when you were in your teenage years? If you try wearing them; what do you think will happen? I am sure they will be ‘destroyed!’ It is not the clothes that changed, it is you that has changed. In the same way, the anointing changes you! 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says, “Do not be YOKED together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between CHRIST AND BELIAL? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?” (NIV) This scripture draws clear lines between righteousness and wickedness, light and darkness, CHRIST and BELIAL and the believer and the unbeliever. It says they can’t be YOKED together. Now the word ‘Christ’ means ‘the anointed One’ or ‘the anointing.’ It means that the believer is righteousness, light and Christ. As a child of God, you are CHRIST. The anointing is IN you and you cannot be yoked with ‘Belial’ – satan. There’s no communion between Christ and between Belial- because sickness emanates from Belial and healing and health come from Christ. Verse 16 says “…and what agreement has the TEMPLE OF GOD with idols.* Your body is now the temple of God. Sickness cannot dwell in you. You have become too big for that germ, virus or bacteria in the name of Jesus DECLARE The anointing is IN me. Christ dwells in me by the Holy Spirit. I am the temple of God and sickness and disease cannot reside in me. I’m too big to be sick so I command my body to be whole and function according to perfection in the name of Jesus. EUPHORIA Devotional (The spirit of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God) August 23, 2025 - SAFE IN THE ARK REV. AROME E. TOKULA Genesis 6:18 (TPT) - But AS FOR YOU, I will establish MY COVENANT OF FRIENDSHIP, and YOU WILL ESCAPE DESTRUCTION by coming into the ark, you and your wife, your sons and their wives. The book of Genesis 18 records that the cup of the city of Sodom and Gomorrah was full because of sin and judgement was inevitable, yet God wanted to save the people. God passed by Abraham’s tent because He wanted an intercessor that could stand in for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah so that judgement will be averted. If it was only for judgement God was going to Sodom and Gomorrah, there wouldn’t have been any need for Him to have the conversation that He had with Abraham after two of the angels with Him proceeded because Genesis 18:17 says, “And the LORD said, “SHALL I HIDE FROM ABRAHAM WHAT I AM DOING,” The ‘LORD’ i.e. God Himself unveiled His mission to Abraham to the end that he (Abraham) could intercede and He (God) will show the people of Sodom and Gomorrah mercy! God said in Genesis 18:32, “… I WILL NOT DESTROY it for the SAKE of ten.” God is always looking for ways to save and deliver people! The bible says in 1 Timothy 2:4, “who (God) DESIRES ALL MEN TO BE SAVED and to come to the knowledge of the truth” and God declares in Ezekiel 33:11 “… As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, I have NO PLEASURE in THE DEATH of the WICKED, but that the wicked turn from his way and LIVE...” In our text, it is recorded that God was sorry for making man (Genesis 6:5-8) yet His grace found Noah like His grace for salvation is towards everybody today (Titus 2:11). To save Noah from judgement, God asked him to make an ark. To form the ark, the wood had to be cut from the gopher tree, nailed together and afterwards covered with pitch – inside and outside – to form the ark (Genesis 6:14-16). This ark is a type of Jesus who laid down His life for us by being nailed to a wooden cross! The word translated “pitch” is the Hebrew word “kopper” which comes from the root word 'kapar' and it means to “atone or appease.” This means that through the death of the tree (the cross), our sins have been atoned for within and without. When you believe what Jesus has done for you, God sees you flawless inside and outside and you are safe from corruption and judgement because you are in the perfect one - Christ Jesus. Judgement is averted and you won’t have to pay for your sins or go to hell. Noah and his family weren’t all perfect, but the waters of judgment didn’t overflood them because they were IN a perfect ark built according to God’s design! In the same way, we are IN the perfect One and because of Jesus, we are safe from judgment! This is the beauty of God’s grace! Jesus has become the ark that we enter, and the judgment of sin is removed from our lives because our greatest safety is the ark of God’s love built for us in Jesus’ sacrifice! DECLARE I put no trust in my self-efforts. I recognize that it is only the grace of God that saves. I am safe and secure in Christ, my eternal ark. Nothing can swallow me because Jesus is my escape from every corruption, negativity and curse. Thank You, Jesus! *EUPHORIA Devotional* (The spirit of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God) *August 22, 2025* THERE ARE PREPARED PLACES! TEV. AROME E. TOKULA *Exodus 23:20* *20 "Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I HAVE PREPARED.* In the believer’s walk of faith, all that is required to do the impossible is to trust and obey! The reason it is sometimes difficult for some to act upon God’s Word in obedience is that they don’t know God and how He operates. It is not in the character of God to instruct you to do anything that He hasn’t first gone ahead and finished. The Bible says in Isaiah 46:9-10, _*“9 Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,”*_ God only begins what He has ended! In our text, He told the children of Israel that He was bringing them into a place that He had prepared – not a place He was going to prepare. This means that the destination is certain and He has every detail factored in. The Psalmist says in Psalms 23:5, _*“You PREPARE a TABLE before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.”*_ It is because there is a prepared table that God anoints our heads. He doesn’t anoint our heads so that we can prepare a table. The anointing is the reason the enemies cannot stop us from partaking of the table! As the children of Israel came to the Red Sea on the way to their prepared place, they cried unto God because they didn’t know that the God who led them through that route is a God that has seen the end from the beginning. When Moses cried out to God, the Bible says in Exodus 14:15, _*“And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel TO GO FORWARD.”*_ Considering the situation on ground, the way forward was to go into the Red Sea and that sounds like God was sending them to an early grave. When David was recounting this miracle, the Bible says in Psalms 77:19 (TPT), _*“YOUR STEPS FORMED A HIGHWAY through the seas with footprints ON A PATHWAY NO ONE EVEN KNEW WAS THERE.”*_ I want you to notice that Scripture says that God’s steps formed (paste tense) a highway through the sea. Though they couldn’t see it, it was there because He is a God that sees the end from the beginning! Never be afraid of taking those bold steps of faith as you launch out on the things that God has told you because if He didn’t finish them, He wouldn’t have told you to start. This understanding should stir faith in you to trust and obey Him when He tells you to do anything because there are places He has prepared for you in Jesus' Name. DECLARE I know the plans God has for me, they are plans of good and not of evil to give me hope and a future. I will trust and obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit because I know that God has prepared places for me. I am anointed and no enemy will stop me from partaking of my table in Jesus’ Name. PONDER God has prepared a destination for you and He has every detail factored in.
