• How many plans have you made that completely fell apart?

Now ask yourself this: before making those plans, did you truly seek God's counsel?

Throughout Scripture, the people who walked in victory didn't move until God spoke. David sought the Lord before going into battle. Solomon sought His wisdom. The prophets spoke and acted at His command.

    There's a pattern.

When you invite God into your plans, it doesn't always mean the outcome will look the way you imagined. It means His purpose will prevail—and His way always leads to victory.

So before your next decision, stop and ask Him first.

Make God your Partner in every plan. Seek His counsel, trust His direction, and then move in obedience.

Father, thank You that I can seek Your wisdom in every decision. Help me to stop relying on my own understanding and to seek Your counsel before I move. Lead me in Your perfect will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • Have you ever wondered if you've really left your old life behind? Especially when you stumble again or when people remind you of who you used to be?

I love the word "depart" in the NKJV. It doesn't just mean to turn away—it means to leave. Pack your bags. Move away. Don't keep visiting what God called you out of.

Then comes the next instruction: do good. They belong together. Leave evil behind and fill your life with what is good. If you're busy doing good, you'll have far less room for what pulls you back.

Then we're told to seek peace and pursue it. For us, that means pursuing Jesus, the Prince of Peace. The deeper you go into His presence, the more you'll discover the peace only He can give.

So today, leave the old behind, do good, and keep pursuing Jesus.

Father, thank You for the wisdom of Your Word. Help me to leave evil behind, to continually do good, and to pursue Jesus, the Prince of Peace, every day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • Reading this passage reminds me how often people turn the Sabbath into a religious burden, when God actually gave it as a gift.

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

God didn't rest because He was tired. He rested to set an example for us. He blessed the day, made it holy, and showed us that we need time to stop creating, producing, and striving.

Rest isn't laziness. It's taking time to enjoy God, His creation, and the people He's placed in your life.

So this week, follow His example. Step away from your work for a while. Enjoy your family. Go for a walk. Sit in His presence. Let your soul be refreshed.

God designed rest because He knows what we need.

Father, thank You for being intentional in everything You do. Teach me to follow Your example and to receive the gift of rest You've given me. Help me to enjoy You, enjoy what You've created, and trust You enough to stop striving. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • How do you decide whether something is possible or impossible?

Most of us base it on experience, logic, or what we've seen before. But God isn't limited by any of those things.

If God's Word says nothing is impossible for Him, then nothing means nothing.

Just because you haven't seen God do it yet doesn't mean He can't.

So instead of letting your circumstances tell you what's possible, let God's Word tell you what's true.

Find what the Bible says about your situation, and speak that truth until your doubt has no voice left.

God is leading you into victory. Read His Word. Pray. Believe Him. Then live like His promise is true—not because you can see it yet, but because you trust the One who made it.

Father, thank You that nothing is impossible for You. Renew my mind with Your truth and help me to speak what You say instead of what I see. Teach me to trust You completely and walk in the victory You've already prepared. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • I've been thinking lately about how easily we worry about what we have, what we might lose, and whether we have enough to give.

But today's verse reminds us that giving isn't just about money.

Kindness comes in many forms. Your time, your attention, a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or simply sitting with someone who feels forgotten. These are all gifts.

God says that when we're kind to the poor, it's like lending to Him—and He doesn't just repay us, He rewards us. What an incredible promise.

So don't focus on the reward. Focus on being obedient.

Here's today's challenge: What do you already have that you can give?

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you. If He prompts you to give something, don't fear the loss. Trust the One who owns everything and rewards those who walk in obedience.

Father, thank You for all that You've given me. Open my eyes to what I already have that I can give. Remove every fear of loss and teach me to be a cheerful, generous giver who trusts You completely. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • When you truly love something, you sacrifice for it. You gladly give your time, your energy, and sometimes even your own comfort.

Following Jesus is no different. Except He doesn't want to be just another item on your priority list—He wants to be at the center of everything you do.

Jesus loved you so much that He gave His life so you could spend eternity with Him. If He gave everything for us, shouldn't it be our joy to give everything to Him?

Denying yourself isn't about missing out. It's about laying aside what you want so you can walk in what He wants. That's where life is found.

Jesus said if you lose your life for His sake, you'll find it. It may not make sense to the world, but not everything God asks us to do will. Our job isn't to understand everything—it's to obey and watch Him work.

Father, thank You for Jesus' sacrifice. Help me deny myself daily, take up my cross, and follow You. Teach me to trust You even when I don't understand. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • Have you ever held back from telling someone about Jesus because you didn’t know what to say? Or wondered why someone claims to follow Him, yet nothing changes?

    The Gospel is simple.

We’ve all sinned against a holy God, and the result is separation from Him. But because God loves us, He sent Jesus to pay the debt we could never pay. Salvation is a gift, received by grace through faith.

But that freedom isn’t permission to keep living in sin—it’s freedom from sin.

When Jesus truly comes into your life, He changes you. You begin to look like Him. And Jesus served.

That’s why Paul tells us to use our freedom not for ourselves, but to serve one another in love.

If someone asks you about the Gospel, start there.

Father, thank You for sending Jesus to pay my debt and set me free. Help me to share Your Gospel boldly and to use my freedom to serve others in love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • We all put our trust in something. People, money, jobs, vehicles... and if we're honest, every one of those has let us down at some point. Yet we keep trusting them.

But when people think God has let them down, they often pull away from Him. That's exactly what the enemy wants.

The truth is this: God has never failed. He doesn't fail, and He never will. He alone is worthy of our complete trust.

Trusting God doesn't mean doing nothing. It's like starting your car—you make sure it's in neutral, the clutch is in, the key is turned... then the car does what you can't.

Do your part. Obey what God has shown you to do. Then trust Him with what only He can do.

If you're unsure what your next step is, ask your Father. He is faithful, and He will show you.

Father, thank You that You have never failed and never will. Help me to trust You above everything else. Show me where I need to obey, and give me the faith to leave the rest in Your hands. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • It amazes me how often our faith in the one true living God is mocked and challenged. Yet when you think about it, it makes sense—Jesus calls us to live completely opposite to the world.

Our natural reaction is to love those who love us, be kind to those who are kind to us, and repay people the way they treat us. But that's not the way of Jesus.

He tells us to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us.

When someone does evil to you, respond with good. That's what sets us apart. That's how the world sees Jesus through us.

Never forget—you are Christ's representative. You are His ambassador. Shine for Him today.

Father, thank You that while I was still a sinner, You loved me, showed me mercy, and gave Your life for me. Help me to love like Jesus, to repay evil with good, and to be a true ambassador for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • I'm reminded again this morning that the world constantly pushes us toward worry, fear, and anxiety, but Jesus calls us to something completely different.

I've come to a place where I seek peace in every decision I make. If I don't have peace, I pause.

Are you lying awake at night? Maybe anxiety follows you everywhere you go. Why? Are you carrying something Jesus never asked you to carry?

Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light. If you're heavy, stop holding onto what belongs in His hands.

Today, make the decision to surrender it all to God. Ask Him what He wants you to do, obey Him, and trust Him with the outcome. Don't entertain anxious thoughts—take them captive and listen to Jesus instead.

You've heard countless testimonies of God working everything out for others. Now let Him write yours.

Father, thank You for the peace, rest, and safety that only You can give. Today I choose to lay every burden at Your feet. Help me to trust You, obey You, and walk in Your peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
