  • A HIDDEN LIFE WITH CHRIST

    Colossians 3:3-4

"For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."

Paul reminds believers that their union with Christ has changed their identity. Their old life is dead, and their true life is now bound to Christ. This life will find its full realization when Christ appears in his glory.

What is hidden with Christ is not lost: it is secure in God. The world may not understand what God is doing in you, and your progress may even seem invisible, but your true life does not depend on human perception. It is kept safe in Christ.

Your future is also bound to Christ. You do not need to build your worth on recognition, success, or applause. Christ is your life today, and Christ will be your glory tomorrow.

Today, let go of seeking your identity in what you possess or in what others think of you. Cling to Christ, nurture your communion with Him, and live for what has eternal value.

Lord Jesus, be truly my life. Help me to die to the ambitions that draw me away from You and to live each day in the security of my identity in Christ, with my eyes fixed on the glory to come.

  • GOD WILL SHOW YOU HIS PATH

Psalm 16:11 reveals a powerful truth: God is not only the giver of life, but also the guide of life. When the Psalmist says, “You will show me the path of life,” it emphasizes divine direction—God leads us in the way that brings purpose, fulfillment, and eternal significance. This “path” is not merely about physical living, but about walking in alignment with God’s will.
The verse continues with the promise of fullness of joy in God’s presence. This teaches that true joy is not found in circumstances, possessions, or human approval, but in a close relationship with God. Finally, “pleasures forevermore” points to the eternal reward and satisfaction that come from abiding in Him—both now and in eternity.
In essence, this scripture assures us that when we follow God, we are led into a life of purpose, joy, and everlasting fulfillment.

  • When God Reveals Himself
When God reveals Himself, the revelation is not given only according to the needs of humanity; because the revelation of the Self is a complete revelation for all generations of humans. And the needs of humans differ, even change.
God revealed His life, which is what we mean by the phrase "one essence," i.e., the one life in which there is no division... He who descends into a pit to save his son does not lose his dignity and status, but becomes great and powerful; because he saved a life. And thus the revelation of the one life came for our sake, for us; so that we may learn from God how to live?... And those who seek life choose the gift of life from Christ, so that through the life He lived, they may perceive the unity of the essence of the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • The First Adam and The Second Adam

    1 Corinthians 15:45–49

“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 15:45 (KJV)

From the beginning of creation, God’s plan for humanity was for man to have dominion and live in fellowship with Him.

However, through the first Adam, sin and death entered the world. But through the Second Adam, Jesus Christ, righteousness and eternal life have been made available to all who believe.

This sermon reveals the contrast between Adam of the flesh and Christ of the Spirit — one brought death, the other brings life.

    1. The First Adam — The Man of Earth

Genesis 2:7 — “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

The first Adam was formed from the dust — earthly and natural.

He was given authority and dominion but lost it through disobedience (Genesis 3:6).

Through his fall, sin entered the world, and with sin came death (Romans 5:12).

Adam’s disobedience brought separation between God and man (Isaiah 59:2).

Lesson: Disobedience to God’s word always brings death, not only physical but spiritual separation from God.

    2. The Second Adam — The Lord from Heaven

1 Corinthians 15:47 — “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”

The Second Adam is Jesus Christ, who came not from the dust but from heaven.

Where the first Adam failed, Christ triumphed.

Jesus came to restore man’s relationship with God through His obedience unto death (Philippians 2:8).

Through the Second Adam, we receive the Spirit of life and reconciliation (Romans 5:18–19).

Lesson: Obedience to God brings eternal life. Jesus’ obedience reversed the curse of Adam’s disobedience.

    3. The Contrast Between the Two Adams

    First Adam
    Origin Formed from dust.

    Second Adam
    Came from Heaven.

    First Adam
    Nature Living soul

    Second Adam
    Life-giving Spirit

    First Adam Act Disobedience
    Result Death and condemnation

    Second Adam
    Act Obedience Life and justification

    First Adam
    Legacy Sin, shame, and separation

    Second Adam
    Grace, glory, and reconciliation

Romans 5:19 — “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

    4. The Purpose of the Second Adam

To restore dominion lost by the first Adam (Luke 10:19).

To make us new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17).

To bring us into eternal fellowship with God (John 14:6).

To destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).

Lesson: In Christ, we regain what Adam lost — righteousness, authority, and eternal life.

    5. Living as a New Creation in the Second Adam

Ephesians 4:22–24 — “Put off the old man... and put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

We are no longer to live in the nature of the first Adam (sinful flesh).

We are to walk in the Spirit and live in obedience to the Word.

The life of Christ must reflect in our character, conduct, and conversation.

The resurrection power of the Second Adam now works in us (Romans 8:11).

Lesson: You cannot live in victory while still carrying the old Adamic nature. You must put on Christ daily.

The first Adam brought death through sin, but the Second Adam brought life through His sacrifice.

If you remain in the first Adam, you remain in death; but if you are in Christ, the Second Adam, you have eternal life.

Choose today to live in the life-giving Spirit of Christ and not in the death of Adam’s disobedience.

Romans 5:21 — “That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

    Pray This Prayer

Lord, thank You for sending Jesus, the Second Adam, to give me life.

Father, deliver me from every Adamic nature of sin.

Lord Jesus, help me to walk in obedience as You did.

Holy Spirit, empower me to live in the newness of life.

I declare I am a new creation — old things are passed away, and all things are new in Christ.

  • HAVE YOU BEEN BORN AGAIN?

John 3:3 — “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

To be born again is not just a church slogan; it is a divine command from Jesus Christ Himself.

Many attend church, sing in the choir, or even preach, yet have not experienced the transforming power of the new birth.

Jesus told Nicodemus, a religious man, that he must be born again to see God’s kingdom. This shows that religion, morality, or position cannot replace spiritual rebirth.

    1. What Does It Mean to Be Born Again?

To be born again means to experience a spiritual rebirth — a change of heart and nature through the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

When you are born again, your old sinful life is crucified with Christ, and you begin a new life of holiness and righteousness.

    2. Why Must You Be Born Again?

    * Because of Sin: Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Everyone is born into sin through Adam. Therefore, we all need redemption.

    * Because It Is a Requirement for Heaven: John 3:5 — “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Without being born again, no one can enter Heaven.

    * Because It Brings a New Relationship with God: Being born again restores fellowship with God, which sin had broken.

    3. The Process of Being Born Again
Conviction of Sin – The Holy Spirit makes you realize your sinful state. (John 16:8)

Repentance – You must confess and turn away from your sins. (Acts 3:19)

Faith in Christ – Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. (Romans 10:9-10)

Confession and Acceptance – Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and accept Him into your heart. (John 1:12)

Transformation by the Holy Spirit – The Spirit renews your heart and mind. (Titus 3:5)

    4. Evidence of a Born Again Life

    - A desire to please God. (1 John 3:9)

    - A hatred for sin. (Romans 6:1-2)

    - A changed lifestyle. (Galatians 5:22-23)

    - Love for others. (1 John 4:7)

    - Consistent fellowship with God through prayer and His Word. (Psalm 119:11)

    5. The Danger of Not Being Born Again.

    * Separation from God now and in eternity. (Isaiah 59:2)

    * Eternal condemnation. (Revelation 20:15)

    * No access to the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

There is no neutral ground — you are either born again or not.

Church membership cannot save; only the blood of Jesus can.

    6. How to Stay Born Again

    * Daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:16)

    * Feed on the Word of God. (1 Peter 2:2)

    * Fellowship with other believers. (Hebrews 10:25)

    * Live a life of obedience and holiness. (1 Peter 1:15-16)

Being born again is the foundation of your Christian journey.
Without it, every other spiritual activity is meaningless.

Jesus is calling you today: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock...” (Revelation 3:20).

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, do it now. Tomorrow might be too late.

    Salvation Prayer.

Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again for my salvation. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart, wash me clean, and make me a new person. From today, I am born again. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.

If you are blessed comment and share.
