    LESSON: Genesis 21: 1-7

    TOPIC:
WHEN GOD DECIDES TO REMEMBER A MAN

    TEXT:
And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. Genesis 21:1 (NKJV)

    INTRODUCTION:
Divine remembrance is the moment God steps into a person’s situation to change their story forever.
When God remembers a man, delay breaks, shame disappears, and impossible doors begin to open. Throughout Scripture, every person God remembered experienced a visible turnaround. May Heaven remember you today through this message in
    Jesus powerful name.

    EXPOSITION:
    [1] DIVINE REMEMBRANCE ENDS
    LONG SEASONS OF DELAY
    Text: Genesis 21:1-2, Habakkuk 2:3, Luke 1:57
Sarah carried the promise for years before manifestation came. Humanly speaking, it was too late, but God’s remembrance operates beyond time and limitation. When heaven remembers a man, prophecy begins to manifest and waiting seasons suddenly expire.
Many believers today are discouraged because answers seem delayed, but God is never late. His promises may tarry, yet they will surely speak at the appointed time. One moment of divine remembrance can accomplish what years of struggle could not produce.

    [2]. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE BREAKS
    SHAME AND REPROACH
    Text: 1 Samuel 1:6-20, Luke 1:25, Psalm 126:1-3
Hannah was mocked because of her condition, but when God remembered her, the same mouth that cried in bitterness began to sing songs of victory. Elizabeth also testified that God removed her reproach among men.
There are battles people hide silently behind smiles, but divine remembrance brings public restoration. God can turn mockery into celebration and convert years of tears into testimonies that glorify His name openly.

    [3]. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE PROVOKES
    RESTORATION AND FAVOR
    Text: Esther 6:1-10, Joel 2:25, Nehemiah 13:14
Mordecai was forgotten after his good works, but one night God disturbed the king’s sleep and the book of remembrance was opened. What people ignore, God can suddenly announce before nations. When God remembers a person, lost opportunities are restored, helpers arise, and favor begins to speak where rejection once prevailed. Divine remembrance has the power to recover wasted years and reposition a man for honor.

    CONCLUSION:
    GOD NEVER FORGETS HIS OWN
Men may forget, systems may fail, and helpers may disappoint, but God never forgets His own. The same God who remembered Noah, Hannah, Sarah, and Mordecai is still alive today. Your season of divine remembrance shall not pass you by, in Jesus’ name.

    Prayer
Father, remember me for good. Let every long-standing delay, hidden reproach, and forgotten blessing in my life receive divine intervention. Open the book of remembrance concerning my destiny and let my testimony appear speedily, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

    Goodwill Message
May the God of divine remembrance visit your home, ministry, family, and destiny with uncommon favor and undeniable testimonies. What has delayed for years shall receive speedy manifestation in Jesus’ name.

    HAPPY EXCITING SUNDAY
    HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK.

    REMEMBERED OR NOT!
    JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN!!

  • CROSS THAT JORDAN

    By Pastor Samuel Apena

    Text: 2 Kings 2:1–14

There comes a moment in every believer’s life when God stands you before a “Jordan.”
Not a river of water—but a boundary between where you are and where God is taking you.
The story of Elijah and Elisha is not just a story of mentorship…
It is a story of transition, separation, and destiny crossing.

    1. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF DECISION
Elijah said to Elisha: “Stay here…”
But Elisha replied: “As the Lord lives, I will not leave you.”
    Jordan will test your hunger.
Many people admire destiny, but few are willing to pursue it beyond comfort.
Before you cross your Jordan, God will ask:
    “Do you really want this?”
Jordan separates the casual from the committed.

    2. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF SEPARATION
When they got to Jordan, Elijah took his mantle, struck the waters, and the river parted.
This was not just a miracle—it was a statement.
Jordan does not open for everyone.
It opens for those carrying divine authority.
Some things in your life will not shift until you step into who God has called you to be.
    Before you cross your Jordan:
    You must leave fear behind
    You must leave doubt behind
    You must leave distractions behind
Because you cannot carry yesterday into tomorrow.

    3. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF TRANSFER
    After crossing, Elijah said:
“Ask what I shall do for you…”
    Elisha said:
“Let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
    Listen carefully:
The request came AFTER the crossing.
Many people want the mantle, but they don’t want the journey.
    They want power without process.
    Glory without sacrifice.
But Jordan is the price for the double portion.

    4. JORDAN IS THE PLACE OF TRANSFORMATION
Elijah was taken up, and his mantle fell.
Elisha picked it up and returned to Jordan.
He struck the water and declared:
“Where is the Lord God of Elijah?”
    And the river parted again.
This is the moment everything changed.
He didn’t say: “Where is Elijah?”
He said: “Where is the God of Elijah?”
Because true power is not in men—it is in God.
Crossing your Jordan will shift you from:
    Following → Leading
    Asking → Commanding
    Watching → Manifesting

    5. YOUR JORDAN TODAY
    Your Jordan may be:
Fear of starting what God told you
    Leaving a toxic environment
    Stepping into ministry
    Letting go of the past
    But hear this:
You cannot step into your next level until you cross your Jordan.

    PROPHETIC DECLARATION
    I declare over your life:
    Every Jordan standing before you—
by the power of God, it shall part!
    Grace to pursue,
    strength to endure,
    and power to cross—
    is released upon you now!
    You will not stop halfway.
You will not settle in the familiar.
    You will CROSS your Jordan!

    PRAYER POINTS
Father, give me the grace to pursue my destiny without turning back, in Jesus’ name.

Every spirit of distraction and discouragement assigned to stop me at my Jordan—be destroyed by fire!

O Lord, give me the hunger and determination of Elisha to follow through, in Jesus’ name.

Every power saying “stay here” when God is saying “move forward”—I reject you now!

By the power of God, every Jordan standing before me—PART NOW in Jesus’ name!

Father, release upon my life the mantle for my next level, in Jesus’ name.

I receive strength to let go of the past and step into my future, in Jesus’ name.

O Lord, connect me to divine authority that will open my Jordan, in Jesus’ name.

After my crossing, let there be a visible transformation in my life, in Jesus’ name.

I receive my double portion of grace, power, and anointing, in Jesus’ name!

  • DEMAS

DON’T TRADE YOUR CALLING FOR THE WORLD

2 Timothy 4:10 — “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world…”

    Demas started strong.
    He was close to Paul.
    He was in ministry.
He was counted among the faithful.

    But something shifted…
    Not because of pressure—
    But because of attraction.

    Demas didn’t fall—he drifted.
    He didn’t crash—he walked away.

The danger is not always persecution…
Sometimes it’s the pull of the present world.
    • Comfort over calling
    • Pleasure over purpose
    • Convenience over commitment

You can be close to the anointing…
    and still lose your focus.

    Demas reminds us:
It’s not how you start—it’s how you finish
What you love will determine what you leave
You must guard your heart from subtle drift

    2 Timothy 4:7 — “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course…”

    DECLARE THIS:
I will not be a Demas!
I will not trade my destiny for temporary things!
I stay focused, faithful, and committed to my assignment!
    I will finish strong!

Stay locked in. Stay on fire. Stay faithful.

  • A Prophetic Reflection for the Journey of Life

It’s amazing when we choose to listen, to contemplate our actions, and to slow down before reacting — how quickly we realize that sometimes we were acting foolishly. The Word of God reminds us:

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who listens to counsel is wise.” — Proverbs 12:15

The beauty of maturity in Christ is this:

we learn to recognize the intelligence, wisdom, and good counsel of others. We learn to honor the voices God sends into our lives.

Because in the journey of life, our dangers are often clearer to those who walk beside us than to ourselves.

Many times, God uses people who care for us with the love of God in their hearts to protect us from paths that would wound us, delay us, or destroy us.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” — Proverbs 20:18

This is prophetic for someone today:

not every correction is an attack, and not every warning is rejection. Some voices are divine protection in human form.

Some advice is God’s mercy speaking through people.
    Choose humility.

    Choose discernment. Choose to listen.

Because God often answers our prayers through people who love us enough to tell us the truth.

“Let the wise hear and increase in learning.” — Proverbs 1:5

May the Holy Spirit give us hearts that are teachable, spirits that are humble, and eyes that discern love when it speaks through counsel.

    Selah.

  • “DESTINY OBSERVERS & DESTINY EATERS”

(A prophetic warning for this generation)

There are people who don’t pray for your progress… they monitor it.

They don’t celebrate your elevation… they study it.

They don’t support your growth… they consume it.

They are destiny observers and destiny eaters.

Destiny observers are those who stay close enough to watch, but never close enough to help.

They gather information, track your movement, and smile while silently taking notes.

They know when you’re rising, when you’re shifting, when doors open for you—yet they never contribute to what God is building in you.

    Destiny eaters go deeper.
They don’t just watch… they feed.

They feed on your testimony, your pain, your story, your weaknesses, your delays, your battles, and even your victories.

They turn your life into their entertainment, their gossip, their fuel.

But this is the prophetic truth:
No one can eat what God has sealed.

No one can destroy what God has ordained.

No one can stop what Heaven has backed.

A destiny observer can watch you… but they cannot reproduce your oil.

A destiny eater can mock you… but they cannot inherit your portion.

God is raising a people with discernment—who will stop confusing monitoring with love, and stop calling jealousy “friendship.”

This season, God is exposing the circle, breaking the pattern, and restoring the harvest.

Because what belongs to you will not be eaten.

Your portion will not be suspended forever.

Your destiny will not be delayed by watchers.

“When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” — Isaiah 59:19

    Declare this:

“My destiny is not food. My life is not a table for strangers. I am preserved by God, sealed by grace, and protected by fire.”

  • WHY SOME PEOPLE WILL NEVER SEE OR HEAR FROM GOD (UNTIL THEY SHIFT REALMS)

Many people desire to hear God, see visions, and walk in divine direction… yet they remain spiritually silent and blind—not because God is absent, but because they are trying to interact with a Spirit using the flesh.

    1) God Is a Spirit — So He’s Not Perceived by Flesh
The first reason some people struggle to encounter God is simple:

    God is a Spirit.

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:24

This means God cannot be contacted by human emotions, physical senses, logic alone, or religious activity without spiritual life.

You don’t “hear” God the way you hear people.

You don’t “see” God the way you see natural objects.

God is not hiding—He is in a realm your flesh cannot decode.

“The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God… they are spiritually discerned.” — 1 Corinthians 2:14

    2) Jesus Came in the Flesh—Not for Himself, But For Us
God entered the physical world through Jesus Christ, not because He needed a body, but because we needed a bridge.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14

“Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh…” — 1 Timothy 3:16

Jesus was God in a body—He came to restore what Adam lost: spiritual access.

    3) The Body of Christ Is a Gift — And It Produces Transformation
The body of Jesus was broken not only to forgive you—but to change you.

To take you from corruptible to incorruptible.

“This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” — 1 Corinthians 15:53

“He will transform our lowly body…” — Philippians 3:21
And those who truly believe don’t only confess Him—they pursue purification.

“Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” — 2 Timothy 2:19

“Purge… and you will be a vessel for honor… fit for the Master’s use.” — 2 Timothy 2:21

    Revelation:
Many want divine encounters, but refuse divine cleansing.
Yet revelation increases where purification is present.

    4) God Does Not Fellowship With Us In the Flesh — But In the Spirit
God doesn’t lead you through the noise of your flesh, feelings, and impulses.

He leads you through the Spirit.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” — Romans 8:14

God’s voice becomes clearer when your spirit becomes stronger.

“My sheep hear My voice…” — John 10:27

The tragedy is that many people want God to “shout” in the physical realm, but God prefers to whisper in the Spirit.

    5) Every True Vision of the Lord Is Spiritual
    Visions are not mental movies.
They are spiritual encounters, seen in the realm of the Spirit.

    “I was in the Spirit…” — Revelation 1:10

“The hand of the LORD was upon me… and brought me out in the Spirit…” — Ezekiel 37:1

If you are not trained to live in the Spirit, you will misinterpret God—or miss Him completely.

    6) The Days Are Evil — So Walk Circumspectly
We are living in times where darkness is aggressive, distractions are endless, and spiritual sensitivity is constantly under attack.

“See then that you walk circumspectly… redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:15–16

Walking carelessly in an evil day is dangerous, because what you tolerate in the flesh will eventually affect your ability to discern in the Spirit.

    7) Don’t Be Drunk With the World — Be Filled With the Spirit
Many people are intoxicated—just not with alcohol only.

    Some are drunk with:
    lust
    pride
    anger
    entertainment
    attention
    noise
    money
    bitterness
    comparison
    spiritual laziness

    But the instruction is clear:

“Do not be drunk with wine… but be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18

The Spirit-filled life is the life where God becomes normal.

    8) Flesh-Led People Cannot Walk With a Spirit God

    This is the dividing line:

“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16

“The flesh lusts against the Spirit… and the Spirit against the flesh.” — Galatians 5:17

God doesn’t operate according to carnality.

So when a person insists on living by flesh patterns, their spirit becomes dull.

“To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” — Romans 8:6

    Prophetic truth:
If you are led by the flesh, you will always interpret God wrongly.

But if you are led by the Spirit, God will begin to speak even through silence.

    9) God Manifests in the Physical Only After the Spirit Has Been Engaged
God may manifest in the natural realm—yes.

    But He usually does it:

as a confirmation of what was already revealed in the Spirit

    for the fulfillment of prophecy

    for divine assignment

“Surely the Lord GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” — Amos 3:7

So the physical manifestation is not the beginning—it is the evidence.

    FINAL WORD (WAKE-UP CALL)

No one can live in sin, carnality, fleshly distractions, and spiritual laziness… and still claim consistent divine encounters.
Because God is not found by flesh pursuit—God is found by Spirit hunger.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you… cleanse your hands… purify your hearts.” — James 4:8

PRAYER DECLARATION (WRITE “AMEN” IF THIS IS YOU)
Lord, baptize my spirit with sensitivity.
Deliver me from the rule of the flesh.
Teach me to walk circumspectly in evil days.
Fill me with Your Spirit until Your voice becomes clear, constant, and undeniable.
I receive the life of incorruption and immortality in Christ Jesus.
    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You can’t hear a Spirit God with a flesh ear.
    Shift realms—walk in the Spirit.

📌 WHY SOME PEOPLE WILL NEVER SEE OR HEAR FROM GOD (UNTIL THEY SHIFT REALMS) Many people desire to hear God, see visions, and walk in divine direction… yet they remain spiritually silent and blind—not because God is absent, but because they are trying to interact with a Spirit using the flesh. 1) God Is a Spirit — So He’s Not Perceived by Flesh The first reason some people struggle to encounter God is simple: God is a Spirit. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:24 This means God cannot be contacted by human emotions, physical senses, logic alone, or religious activity without spiritual life. You don’t “hear” God the way you hear people. You don’t “see” God the way you see natural objects. God is not hiding—He is in a realm your flesh cannot decode. “The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God… they are spiritually discerned.” — 1 Corinthians 2:14 2) Jesus Came in the Flesh—Not for Himself, But For Us God entered the physical world through Jesus Christ, not because He needed a body, but because we needed a bridge. “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14 “Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh…” — 1 Timothy 3:16 Jesus was God in a body—He came to restore what Adam lost: spiritual access. 3) The Body of Christ Is a Gift — And It Produces Transformation The body of Jesus was broken not only to forgive you—but to change you. To take you from corruptible to incorruptible. “This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” — 1 Corinthians 15:53 “He will transform our lowly body…” — Philippians 3:21 And those who truly believe don’t only confess Him—they pursue purification. “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” — 2 Timothy 2:19 “Purge… and you will be a vessel for honor… fit for the Master’s use.” — 2 Timothy 2:21 Revelation: Many want divine encounters, but refuse divine cleansing. Yet revelation increases where purification is present. 4) God Does Not Fellowship With Us In the Flesh — But In the Spirit God doesn’t lead you through the noise of your flesh, feelings, and impulses. He leads you through the Spirit. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” — Romans 8:14 God’s voice becomes clearer when your spirit becomes stronger. “My sheep hear My voice…” — John 10:27 The tragedy is that many people want God to “shout” in the physical realm, but God prefers to whisper in the Spirit. 5) Every True Vision of the Lord Is Spiritual Visions are not mental movies. They are spiritual encounters, seen in the realm of the Spirit. “I was in the Spirit…” — Revelation 1:10 “The hand of the LORD was upon me… and brought me out in the Spirit…” — Ezekiel 37:1 If you are not trained to live in the Spirit, you will misinterpret God—or miss Him completely. 6) The Days Are Evil — So Walk Circumspectly We are living in times where darkness is aggressive, distractions are endless, and spiritual sensitivity is constantly under attack. “See then that you walk circumspectly… redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:15–16 Walking carelessly in an evil day is dangerous, because what you tolerate in the flesh will eventually affect your ability to discern in the Spirit. 7) Don’t Be Drunk With the World — Be Filled With the Spirit Many people are intoxicated—just not with alcohol only.
