God Can Use What You Have (Exodus 4:2)
Have you ever felt like you don't have enough to make a difference?
Not enough money.
Not enough knowledge.
Not enough influence.
Not enough talent.
You look at what others have and wonder how God could possibly use you.
But God asked Moses a simple question:
“What is that in your hand?”
Moses only had a staff.
Nothing impressive.
Nothing powerful by itself.
But when Moses surrendered what he had to God, it became a tool for God's purpose.
The problem is not always that we don't have enough.
Sometimes we fail to recognize what God has already placed in our hands.
Your voice.
Your skills.
Your smartphone.
Your social media platform.
Your creativity.
Your time.
Your testimony.
Your willingness to serve.
God can use ordinary things when they are surrendered to Him.
You don't need thousands of followers to share the Gospel.
You don't need to be wealthy to help someone.
You don't need to be a pastor to encourage a struggling friend.
You don't need to know everything about the Bible to tell someone what Jesus has done for you.
Stop comparing what you have with what others have.
God is not asking you to use someone else's gifts.
He is asking you to faithfully use what He has given you.
David had a sling.
The widow had a little oil.
The boy had five loaves and two fish.
Moses had a staff.
And God used what they were willing to surrender.
What seems small in your hands can become significant when placed in God's hands.
Today, look at your gifts, opportunities, resources, and influence differently.
Ask God:
“Lord, how can I use what You have given me to serve others and point someone to Jesus?”
Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Serve faithfully.
Trust God with the results.
What has God placed in your hands that you can use for His glory today?
