    TITLE: "FORGETTING THE PAST, PRESSING TOWARD THE PRIZE"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

    Philippians 3:13–14 (KJV) "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

    Hebrews 12:1–2 (KJV) "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

    "Do not let yesterday hold you back from what God has prepared for tomorrow."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

    Life is a journey, and every journey has a past, a present, and a future. Some people remain trapped by past failures, disappointments, regrets, or even past successes. But Paul teaches us an important principle in Philippians 3:13–14: keep moving forward.

    Paul says, "forgetting those things which are behind." This does not mean literally erasing the past from our memory. Rather, it means refusing to allow the past to control our present or determine our future. Past failures should teach us, not imprison us. Past successes should encourage us, not make us complacent.

    The phrase "reaching forth" speaks of stretching forward with determination. Paul was focused on what was before him. He understood that spiritual growth requires continual progress. The Christian life is not about becoming comfortable with yesterday's achievements; it is about continually pursuing God's purpose.

    Paul says, "I press toward the mark." To press means to pursue with determination despite difficulties. The mark is the goal or destination toward which he was moving. This teaches us that reaching God's purpose requires focus, perseverance, and discipline.

    Hebrews 12:1 uses the picture of a race. Runners cannot successfully complete a race while carrying unnecessary weights. Likewise, there are attitudes, habits, relationships, distractions, and sins that can slow our spiritual progress. We must be willing to lay them aside.

    The writer then gives us the secret of endurance: "Looking unto Jesus." Our eyes must remain fixed on Christ. People can disappoint us, circumstances can change, and our own strength can fail, but Jesus remains the author and finisher of our faith.

    Jesus Himself endured the cross because He focused on the joy that was set before Him. In the same way, we must look beyond temporary difficulties toward the eternal purpose God has prepared for us.

    Today, do not allow yesterday's failure to cancel tomorrow's opportunity. Learn from the past, release what must be released, remove every unnecessary weight, and keep your eyes on Jesus.

    The race is not over. Keep running. Keep believing. Keep pressing forward.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)

    Isaiah 43:18–19 (KJV) "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

    1 Corinthians 9:24 (KJV) "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. The past should be a lesson, not a prison.

    2. Spiritual progress requires letting go of unnecessary weights.

    3. God's purpose requires determination and perseverance.

    4. We must keep our eyes on Jesus rather than becoming distracted by circumstances.

    5. The Christian journey is a race that requires patience and endurance.

    6. There is a God-given prize ahead for those who faithfully continue.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

    Release one past burden, remove one distraction, and take one purposeful step toward God's will today.

    PRAYER

    Heavenly Father, help me release the past and press forward with faith. Remove every weight that slows me down and keep my eyes fixed on Jesus until I fulfil Your purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    DECLARATION

    I will not be controlled by my past. I press forward toward God's purpose and keep my eyes on Jesus. Every weight is removed, my faith is strengthened, and I will finish my race faithfully and receive the prize in Christ Jesus. Amen.

    TITLE: "STRENGTHENED BY GOD'S SPIRIT, NOT BY HUMAN POWER"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

    Ephesians 3:16 (KJV) "That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;"

    Zechariah 4:6 (KJV) "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

    "What human strength cannot accomplish, God's Spirit can."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

    Every journey has moments when our natural strength feels insufficient. We may have responsibilities to carry, challenges to overcome, or assignments that seem greater than our ability. At such times, God reminds us that we were never meant to depend entirely on ourselves.

    Paul prayed in Ephesians 3:16 that believers would be "strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man." The inner man refers to our spiritual life—our heart, faith, character, and relationship with God. God does not only strengthen us outwardly; He strengthens us from within so that we can remain faithful even when circumstances are difficult.

    To be strengthened means to receive divine ability, courage, endurance, and spiritual stability. Sometimes God changes the situation; at other times, He strengthens us to stand firmly in the situation until His purpose is accomplished.

    Zechariah 4:6 gives us the same principle: "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit." Human might can represent resources, influence, position, or physical strength, while power can represent human ability and effort. These things have their place, but they are not the ultimate source of spiritual victory.

    God was teaching Zerubbabel that the work before him would be accomplished through dependence on the Holy Spirit. Likewise, some assignments in our lives cannot be completed successfully through human effort alone. We need God's direction, strength, wisdom, and enabling grace.

    Life experience teaches us that determination can take us far, but there are situations where determination alone is not enough. When our strength is exhausted, God's strength remains available. When our resources are limited, God's resources are unlimited.

    Therefore, do not face today's responsibilities saying, "I cannot do this." Instead, say, "Lord, strengthen me by Your Spirit." Depend on Him in prayer, surrender your plans to Him, and allow His Spirit to empower you.

    Your victory does not depend solely on how strong you are. It depends on the God who strengthens you.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)

    Isaiah 40:29 (KJV) "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength."

    Philippians 4:13 (KJV) "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. God strengthens us from the inside through His Spirit.

    2. Human ability has limits, but God's power has no limits.

    3. Spiritual victory comes through dependence on God, not self-reliance.

    4. Weakness can become an opportunity to experience God's strength.

    5. Prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit are essential for fulfilling God's purposes.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

    Begin today by surrendering your plans to God and asking His Spirit to strengthen and guide you.

    PRAYER

    Heavenly Father, strengthen me by Your Spirit in my inner man. Help me not to depend on human strength alone, but to trust Your power and guidance in everything I do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    DECLARATION

    I am strengthened by the Spirit of God. I will not depend on human power alone. The Lord gives me strength, wisdom, courage, and grace to fulfil His purpose for my life. Not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. Amen.

  • Gideon had no idea what God was purpose, Gideon feel small weak and unworthy and afraid but God saw, not what Gideon was but what he become through Him that's how God sees you.
    We live in a time when fear and doubt often hold people captive, but the message of Gideon story is clear.
    When God's calls Gideon means God saw something different, he didn't need to be the strongest or the bravest he just needed to trust obey. You may feel weak, afraid or insignificant you may think your past mistakes or failures have disqualified you from God's purpose but the Lord says "I am with you mighty warrior" Mighty warrior means showed extreme bravery in battle, skill in battle unwavering determination, valor loyalty and ability to inspire a soldier.
    When God is with you, you are never defeated He takes the ordinary and does the extraordinary. Remember your weakness is perfect place for God to show His strength, the Lord is with you! He will fight your battles, strengthen your heart and make you victorious in His name.
    The lesson God can achieve things great things through smallest effort all He ask is your faith and obedience, without faith it is impossible to please God, success in life comes from God and is marked by purity, peace and good fruit.

  • DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 228
    DATE: 16TH AUGUST 2026
    TOPIC: PERSECUTION IS PART OF THE COST OF FOLLOWING CHRIST
    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 10:22 (NKJV)
    “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”
    Devotional message:

    Jesus never deceived His disciples concerning the cost of following Him. He did not promise them a life without opposition, rejection, hatred, suffering, or persecution. Instead, He prepared them beforehand so that when these things came, they would not abandon their faith.

    If our Master was rejected and opposed, we should not be surprised when those who faithfully represent Him experience similar opposition. Following Christ does not mean that everyone will celebrate you, understand you, or agree with your convictions.

    There will be moments when standing for righteousness will cost you relationships. There will be moments when refusing to compromise will make you unpopular. There may even be seasons when people misunderstand, reject, mock, or oppose you simply because you have chosen to remain faithful to Christ.

    But persecution does not mean that God has abandoned you.

    The presence of opposition does not mean the absence of God. In fact, Scripture gives us numerous examples of God's people experiencing persecution while simultaneously experiencing His presence.

    God promised through Isaiah:Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV)
    “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

    Notice that God did not say, “You will never pass through the waters.” He said, “I will be with you.” He did not say that His people would never encounter fire; He promised His presence in the fire.

    Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego experienced this reality. They refused to bow to the golden image even though they knew their decision could cost them their lives. They were thrown into the fiery furnace, but they were not alone. The king eventually saw a fourth man walking with them in the fire.The fire did not destroy them because God's presence was with them.

    Child of God, do not interpret persecution as a signal to abandon your testimony. If you are suffering because you have chosen righteousness, remain faithful. If people reject you because you refuse to compromise your convictions, continue standing. If your commitment to Christ costs you something, remember that Christ is worth more than whatever you may lose.

    Our calling is not merely to begin well but to endure to the end.Paul declared that he had fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). That should also be our determination.

    The world may hate us because we belong to Christ, but we must never allow the hatred of men to make us lose our love for God. We must continue preaching Christ, living righteously, loving people, and faithfully representing the Kingdom.

    Persecution may test your faith, but it does not have to terminate your faith.

    The same God who was with the three Hebrew men in the furnace is with you today. The same Christ who strengthened the apostles to endure persecution is still able to strengthen His Church.

    PRAYER

    Heavenly Father,Thank You for the privilege of following Jesus Christ. Give me grace to remain faithful even when I encounter rejection, hatred, opposition, or persecution because of Your name.In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • No matter how complex life or your calling becomes. Never forget, this is the foundation.

    I tried to do that for all my characters. I made a list of things that the enemy could throw at a person of faith, and tried to imagine the impact emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, and on all those around them.... then wrote it.... then God gave me more and more. But underlying it all, is who they find they REALLY are, their callings and tasks, and the determination to accomplish them. And who they are, will surprise you. I know it did me. God forget to give me a heads up on where it was all going, when he called me to start writing the story. That comes out, and God's hand upon their lives and family lines becomes even MORE evident.... and infuriates their unseen enemy...

    Alert: book one e-book for free got messed up. I fixed it yesterday, and it looks like its back ready today. I badly need reviews, for Amazon to show the series to a broader audience. If you'll help, please comment below, and show Amazon Christian books are still popular by getting it today, and leaving a review ASAP. I've love for at least 1,000 people to download it today.

    Free books go with my money management tips too. How much better is it on your budget, to have hours of free entertainment?

    In the meantime, I'm going to work on building a different webpage where I can sell them there. Who's onboard to help? It's a great saga of the human spirit sold out to God, and how those who fell truly hate us. Will you join me today to make it happen? And ask all your friends too? If so, just put yes in the comment. Then go find your bible and a puppy. When God pours His love into you, it'll give you a place to pass it on. I know. Even as I type, Emma, my chihuahua, is begging to go out. Only love keeps up with her constant demands... lol...

  • Daily Bible Lesson.
    “BEHOLD THE MAN!” THE INNOCENT SAVIOUR REJECTED FOR A CRIMINAL.

    Key Text: John 19:5
    “Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!”

    This is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the Bible. Pilate hoped that after seeing Jesus bruised, bleeding, and humiliated, the crowd would show mercy. Instead, they hardened their hearts and demanded His death.

    ① PILATE TRIED TO SAVE JESUS THROUGH COMPROMISE
    Pilate ordered Jesus to be scourged and mocked.
    Not because He was guilty...
    But because he hoped the cruel punishment would satisfy the angry crowd.
    Pilate thought:
    The people would pity Jesus.
    The priests would finally be satisfied.
    An innocent Man could be released.
    But compromise never satisfies evil.

    ② THE ENEMIES OF CHRIST SAW PILATE'S WEAKNESS
    The religious leaders quickly realized:
    Pilate was afraid.
    He wanted to avoid conflict.
    He lacked the courage to do what was right.
    Their determination only grew stronger.
    Every compromise gave them greater confidence to demand Christ's death.

    ③ “BEHOLD THE MAN!”
    Pilate presented Jesus before the multitude and declared:
    John 19:5
    “Behold the man!”
    Again he testified:
    John 19:4
    “I find no fault in Him.”
    Standing before the crowd was:
    The Son of God.
    Wearing a crown of thorns.
    His back torn by cruel scourging.
    His face covered with blood.
    Yet His expression revealed:
    Gentleness.
    Patience.
    Dignity.
    Compassion for those who hated Him.
    Even in suffering, Jesus displayed perfect love.

    ④ THE GREAT CONTRAST: JESUS OR BARABBAS
    Beside Jesus stood Barabbas.
    A hardened criminal.
    A rebel.
    A murderer.
    The contrast could not have been clearer.
    Jesus—the innocent Prince of Peace.
    Barabbas—the guilty lawbreaker.
    Yet the crowd chose the criminal...
    ...and rejected the spotless Lamb of God.

    ⑤ SOME HEARTS WERE TOUCHED
    Not everyone remained unmoved.
    Many spectators wept.
    Their hearts were filled with sympathy.
    Even the priests and rulers felt conviction deep within.
    They knew Jesus truly was who He claimed to be.
    But conviction without surrender leads to tragedy.

    ⑥ THE CHOICE STILL STANDS TODAY
    Every person must choose:
    Christ or the world?
    Truth or compromise?
    Obedience or rebellion?
    Eternal life or eternal loss?
    The crowd chose Barabbas.
    What will you choose?
    Joshua 24:15
    “Choose you this day whom ye will serve.”

    LESSONS FOR US TODAY
    Never reject Christ for the pleasures of this world.
    Do not silence conviction when the Holy Spirit speaks.
    Stand for truth even when the majority chooses otherwise.
    Jesus willingly suffered so that we might receive eternal life.
    Isaiah 53:5
    “But He was wounded for our transgressions... and with His stripes we are healed.”

    PRAYER
    Lord Jesus, thank You for enduring shame, suffering, and rejection to save me. Help me never to choose the world over You. Give me the courage to stand with You, even when others turn away. May my life always declare that I have chosen Christ above everything else. In Your precious name, Amen.
    Daily Bible Lesson. “BEHOLD THE MAN!” THE INNOCENT SAVIOUR REJECTED FOR A CRIMINAL. Key Text: John 19:5 “Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!” This is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the Bible. Pilate hoped that after seeing Jesus bruised, bleeding, and humiliated, the crowd would show mercy. Instead, they hardened their hearts and demanded His death. ① PILATE TRIED TO SAVE JESUS THROUGH COMPROMISE Pilate ordered Jesus to be scourged and mocked. Not because He was guilty... But because he hoped the cruel punishment would satisfy the angry crowd. Pilate thought: The people would pity Jesus. The priests would finally be satisfied. An innocent Man could be released. But compromise never satisfies evil. ② THE ENEMIES OF CHRIST SAW PILATE'S WEAKNESS The religious leaders quickly realized: Pilate was afraid. He wanted to avoid conflict. He lacked the courage to do what was right. Their determination only grew stronger. Every compromise gave them greater confidence to demand Christ's death. ③ “BEHOLD THE MAN!” Pilate presented Jesus before the multitude and declared: John 19:5 “Behold the man!” Again he testified: John 19:4 “I find no fault in Him.” Standing before the crowd was: The Son of God. Wearing a crown of thorns. His back torn by cruel scourging. His face covered with blood. Yet His expression revealed: Gentleness. Patience. Dignity. Compassion for those who hated Him. Even in suffering, Jesus displayed perfect love. ④ THE GREAT CONTRAST: JESUS OR BARABBAS Beside Jesus stood Barabbas. A hardened criminal. A rebel. A murderer. TITLE: "WAIT FOR GOD'S TIMING AND NEVER GIVE UP"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

    Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

    Galatians 6:9 (KJV) "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

    "God's promises may take time, but His timing is never late."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

    There are seasons when we pray, work, wait, and wonder why the answer has not yet come. Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that God's vision has an appointed time. What God has promised may not happen according to our preferred schedule, but His timing is purposeful and certain.

    The word "vision" represents what God has revealed or promised concerning His purpose. "Appointed time" reminds us that God has a specific season for its fulfilment. When Scripture says, "though it tarry, wait for it," we are being encouraged not to abandon faith simply because the answer seems delayed.

    Waiting on God is not wasting time. It is a season of preparation, strengthening, character development, and deeper dependence on Him. Sometimes God is preparing the blessing; sometimes He is preparing us for the blessing.

    Paul gives a similar encouragement in Galatians 6:9: "Let us not be weary in well doing." To become weary means to lose strength, enthusiasm, or determination. Life can make us tired, especially when we continue doing what is right without immediately seeing results. Yet God promises that "in due season we shall reap."

    The phrase "due season" teaches us that harvest has a proper time. A farmer does not abandon the field simply because the seed has not produced fruit immediately. He continues watering, cultivating, and waiting. Likewise, our prayers, obedience, service, kindness, and faithful labour are seeds whose harvest belongs to God's timing.

    The final instruction is powerful: "if we faint not." Do not quit at the point of breakthrough. Do not allow delay to turn into discouragement. Continue praying. Continue believing. Continue doing good. Continue trusting God.

    Whatever you are waiting for today, place it in God's hands. His delay is not His denial, and His silence does not mean He has forgotten you. The vision will speak at the appointed time, and the harvest will come if you refuse to give up.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)

    Psalm 27:14 (KJV) "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."

    Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. God's promises have appointed seasons for fulfilment.

    2. Delays can be seasons of preparation rather than rejection.

    3. Faithfulness requires perseverance when results are not immediate.

    4. Those who continue doing good will eventually reap God's appointed harvest.

    5. Never give up simply because the answer has not yet appeared.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

    Keep praying, keep doing good, and keep trusting God's timing without giving up.

    PRAYER

    Father, give me patience to wait for Your appointed time and strength not to become weary. Help me remain faithful until I see the fulfilment of Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    DECLARATION

    I will not give up. I trust God's appointed time. I will remain faithful, continue doing good, and reap my harvest in due season. God's promises concerning my life shall surely come to pass. Amen.

  • My name is Philippe Francois, and I am a Haitian entrepreneur. By God's grace and guidance, I have officially incorporated my business, SMIRNE VENTURE LLC, in the State of Delaware, USA. My company operates in the import, export, and manufacturing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), serving communities in Haiti and beyond. You can learn more about our mission at www.smve.net

    Running a business registered in the United States while living in Haiti has been a profound challenge. Like many of you, I believe that God opens doors that no man can shut. He has given me the vision, the legal structure, and the determination. However, I am now at a critical crossroads where I need financial resources to take the next step.

    My dream is not just to survive, but to thrive and create employment opportunities that will uplift families here in Haiti. To do this, I need to purchase inventory and protect my brand by registering trademarks. The minimum funding required to move forward is $50,000 USD.

    I am writing to you today because I believe in the power of prayer and the body of Christ. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. I trust that the God who gave me this vision will also provide the resources, whether through a loan, investment, or gift.

    How You Can Help:

    1. Pray for me and my business. Pray for wisdom, the right connections, and open doors. I need the covering of the Lord over every step I take.
    2. If God has blessed you with capacity, I humbly invite you to support this endeavor. As it is written in Proverbs 19:17, Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. I am not asking for a handout, but for a partnership in a business that seeks to honor God and serve others.
    3. I have a fundraising page where I have been expecting donations but God have not activated money flow button you can do it now https://gogetfunding.com/the-last-stand-of-a-haitian-son/

    If the Lord leads you to help, whether through a loan, an investment, or a gift, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. I am fully transparent and willing to share my business plan and all necessary documentation.

    Thank you for taking the time to read my request. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you have blessed me with your attention.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 2O26.
    "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (2)"

    ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given...’ Matthew 25:29 NLT

    YOUR VALUE in a job is determined by the value you add to the job. When a Christian goes to work each day, God holds them accountable for adding, enhancing and improving things in their workplace. Jesus told the story of three men who were each given money. One was given five bags of it, another two, and another one. The first two ‘…went and traded with them, and gained…’ (Matthew 25:16 NAS). They showed skill, initiative, and made 100 percent profit. So they were commended by their master. But the third man just punched the clock, called in sick, didn’t train, try, dare, or do. So his job review didn’t go too well. And Jesus said something that ought to make us all sit up and take notice: ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.’ That means if your attitude and work ethic are poor, you’re in trouble with God. So, let’s stop and think about your job. If Jesus were your supervisor, would you do your work any differently? How would you answer the phone, type documents, treat your employees, or teach your pupils if Jesus were checking your work? As a citizen of God’s kingdom you need to periodically review your attitude on the job, solicit feedback on how you can grow, demonstrate love and grace to those you work with, make your company profitable, and enjoy the work you do.

    *HEALING THROUGH REPENTANCE* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽🏽

    ```TEXT:HOSEA 6:1-3```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up" (HOSEA 6:1).*_

    *In 1949, a remarkable spiritual revival swept through the Scottish Hebrides Islands, known today as the Hebrides Revival. At that time, churches were nearly empty, and the younger generation had grown indifferent to the faith. Two elderly women, Peggy and Christine Smith, deeply burdened by the spiritual decline, began fervent prayer for God to awaken their community to righteousness. Their prayers were anchored in repentance and a return to the Lord. Soon, other believers joined them in prayer. One night, a young man leading the prayer meeting read from Psalm 24:3, 4: "Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart..." He cried out, "Is my heart clean? Are my hands pure?" That honest moment of repentance sparked a spiritual breakthrough, and soon people across the island began confessing their sins, turning back to God, and experiencing profound spiritual healing.*

    *In our text, the prophet calls God's people to repentance. The passage begins with a heartfelt plea for repentance and return to the Lord. It reflects Israel's realisation that they had strayed from God and were suffering the consequences of their rebellion. Yet, despite their waywardness, God desired to restore and revive them if they genuinely repented. The promises of being "revived after two days" and "restored on the third day" symbolised God's readiness to bring spiritual renewal to those who returned to Him.*

    *Christians today have important lessons to learn. True healing, whether it is healing from guilt, broken relationships, spiritual dryness or backsliding, begins with repentance. It is not just about feeling remorse but about acknowledging your sins, seeking God's forgiveness, and making a decisive turn toward Him.*

    *In our modern world, temptations and sin often pull people away from God. But just as the Hebrides Revival demonstrated, God responds powerfully to repentance. When believers humble themselves and call upon God for themselves or others, He is faithful to heal, restore, and pour out His blessings. For those who need healing today, they should return to the Lord, so He can bind up their wounds and revive their spirit.*

    *A haughty person is one who is proud of himself or herself. Many youths are guilty of pride because they fail to recognise God as the Giver of all things and to Him alone all glories must return. Pride is dangerous to your spiritual wellbeing, as God hates pride.*

    *Saint Augustine was correct when he affirmed that "It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels." Pride cost the devil the opportunity of living eternally with God after he revolted against the authority of God in heaven.*

    *Young people of nowadays demonstrate pride because of their beauty or handsomeness, wears, education, family wealth and position in the society. Pride cost the devil and the fallen angels the kingdom of God, and would cost those who still indulge it.*

    *God frowns on pride among His children because all are equal before God and no one should look down on others. His judgment awaits every single soul, whether rich or poor, educated or uneducated, and so on. If you fail to kill pride now, it will kill you later.*

    ```Key Verse:``` _*"Jesus wept" (John 11:35).*_
    *Jesus Christ is God in human flesh. He came into the world to identify with our sufferings and troubles. He came to bear our burdens and carry our sorrows.*
    Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, Prophet Isaiah spoke about what He would do. He said He would be a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. This was exactly what Jesus did when He was on earth. He is loving and compassionate.
    Our Bible passage shows one aspect of the nature of Christ. Getting to the house of His friends whose brother had died, Jesus, moved with compassion wept openly. It was the highest show of love from God to His creature.
    Jesus is teaching us here that weeping is not a sign of weakness. It is a way to identify with those who are hurting. At the end, Jesus raised Lazarus from death.
    *Are you sad or lonely? Are you suffering in any way? Remember, Jesus cares for you. He does not want you to suffer. Call upon Him in time of trouble, and you will experience His comforting arms of love.*
    *PATHWAY TO RESTORATION AND REVIVAL*
    *TEXT:* HOSEA 6:1-3.
    1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
    2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
    3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
    *Timeless Truth:*_"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"_ (Hosea 6:3).
    *INTRODUCTION*
    "Return, "Revival", "Refresh" and "Restoration" are some of the words used in Biblical and Christian circles that show that something good and precious have been lost or missing and appropriate efforts should be made to get those things back. All these show man's deliberate responsibilities in order to keep the blessings of God for a long time . In 1948, a released christian newsletter during the time of revivalist Abraham Branham reads. “All the great outpourings of the past have had their outstanding truths. Luther’s truth was Justification by Faith. Wesley’s was Sanctification. The Baptists taught the premillennial coming of Christ. The Missionary Alliance taught Divine Healing. The Pentecostal outpouring has restored the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to its rightful place. But, the next great outpouring is going to be marked by all these other truths plus such a demonstration of the nine gifts of the Spirit as the world, not even the Apostolic world, has ever witnessed before. This revival will be short and will be the last before the Rapture of the Church.” The consolation and joy is that whatever great and wonderful experiences we have enjoyed in the past can still be restored by God if man does the needful. This is the message of Hosea to Israel and the godly.
    *1. Call to Return to God*
    a. Adam, representing the man of all ages, started with God, but departed from God and many woes followed. In order to vacate the woes, the message of God is simple, return to God. All the woes, challenges, calamities, anguish, backslidings and challenges of man have only one divine prescription: Return to God. Returning to God requires turning or change. Man is generally, reluctant to change. This is one of Newton's Laws of Motion. Willingness to turn is generally, where the problem of man lies. The turning to God requires acceptance of wrongs towards God, decisions with appropriate steps and asking God for forgiveness without self justification. It involves deliberate action of repentance. Repentance from what cause the loss of good old blessings, including repentance from sin, unforgiving spirit, bitterness against neighbours and perhaps God, love of the world, selective obedience to the command of God in any area etc., are just what God is looking for before He pours down His blessings afresh. God did not see that turning or repentance in Adam and Eve. Both of them were busy giving excuses and blaming each other. Neither fully admitted his/her obvious wrong and neither fully repented and returned to God. The repercussion was that they never got the blessing they lost back. They were driven from the beautiful, blessed and blissful garden. If they had returned to God with words of soberness and repentance, the story would have been different for them and the whole humanity. All lost blessings from God are only returned after turning and repentance from the root cause.
    b. The message of God is the same. *"Come, and let us return unto the LORD"*. Stop the blame game. Stop the murmuring and complain. The promise of God for the repentant is valid at all times and in all generations. *"For he hath torn, and he will heal us"*. When your garment of glory is torn, when your shining regalia of blessings is torn, when the source of your joy is torn, the immediate and uncompromisable demand of God and solution is to turn to God. *"He hath smitten, and he will bind us up"*. This is a word of assurance for those who take the courage to turn from their evil ways, carelessness and compromise.
    *Question*
    Assess your life where you have departed from God and your old consecration to God and His word. Are you willing to turn? Start today.
    *2. Comforting Revival Through Grace*
    a. Has Israel not gone too far to an irredeemable damnable and bitter experience? God, through Hosea says NO. When there is possibility and willingness to turn, the promise to restore and revive is always unbreakable. Jesus said, *"the scripture cannot be broken."* Hosea used the picture of Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus on the third day to show the reality and restoration of revival for dead bones. *"After two days will he revive us"*. After two days is the third day including all other days after the third day. It shows the beginning of revival on the third day and the continuity of revival after the third day. *"In the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight"*. The resurrection of Jesus Christ has assurably made possible the restoration of any dead soul and experiences even when it appears they are already stinking spiritually in the grave.
    b. The parable of dead bones in Ezekiel 37 shows that revival and restoration is possible when the Word of God is given a prominent and final say in the life of an individual, family, church or nation. All the revivals the Church has experienced in different ages at a time of total darkness were as a result of giving the Word of God the first and unquestionably place. The same applies to any individual that needs revival. Taking the Word of God at face values drives to repentance including burdened and persistent prayers. Once this is done, the rain will definitely fall and there will be repentance and restoration.
    *Question*
    Are you desirous of revival and restoration of past glories in your life? From the explanation above, what is your decision?
    *3. Continuous Refreshment unto Glory*
    a. Why blessings are lost and revival is gone is because of lack of continuity in the Old faith and consecration that brought the revival in the first place. Jesus said, *"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples in deed"*. Disciples in deeds are different from disciples in the mouth to profession. Continuity is the key. *"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD"*. Continuous following leads to deeper knowledge and deeper knowledge is manifested by continuous following. *"His going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"*. The former rain is to prepare the ground for planting while the latter rain is to prepare the crop for harvesting. It is the harvesting that is generally seen, but not the planting time of rigour and sacrifice. He that sows, though not seen by many should sow in hope because harvesting is certain. Rain of the Holy Spirit is needed to sow the seed of repentance, intercession and consecration while rain of the Holy Spirit is also needed to enjoy the harvest of refreshment, restoration and revival. Continuity in sowing the seed of the Word of God and wetting it with tears of prayers and acts of consecration will bring the abundant rain and there will be overflowing joy, revival and restoration again.
    *Question*
    Are you determined to continue getting deeper into the Word, prayer and consecration without giving up until the rain falls and there are blessings and visitations from heaven again?
    *Prayer Points*
    1.Lord, open my eyes to areas that I need to turn to you afresh and make me willing to pay the price of turning .
    2.Give me the rain of the Spirit that will help me to sow with tears and deeper consecration until the abundant rain falls on my soul, nation and church .
    3.I ask for power and determination to continue seeking your face without giving up and backing out .
    4.Father, send the rain and awaken your Church to true restoration and revival .
    *HYMN:* Come Holy Spirit.
    *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 9-12.
    2. Morning Prayer fir today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. ⏤ Hebrews 4:15
    He is never nearer than when we are tempted. ⏤ E.M. Bounds
    O Jesus, we thank You for living this human life with us, knowing all about our experiences. You became a man. You were tempted in every way, just as we are, and understand what temptation is like. It comforts us to know that You understand our struggles and that we can rely on Your sympathy. Help us today, O Jesus, to overcome every temptation. Stand by us and do not let us fall into darkness in any moment of trial.
    We are also grateful that You know all about sorrow. You have experienced every depth of human pain. There is no sorrow unknown to You, no grief that You cannot understand. Life brings us sorrows, sometimes very deep ones. No human friend can fully understand them. Our loved ones want to help us but cannot take away our pain or give us true comfort. Earth has no sufficient consolation for us.
    So we turn to You, O Jesus, and ask for Your help in our sorrows. We want to bear them sweetly, without complaining. We want to receive the blessing that comes with every pain or suffering, a blessing that is often missed. Teach us how to suffer according to Your will. Give us true comfort that enables us to endure whatever pain or trial we must face. Help us to grow stronger and kinder in every affliction. May Your sympathy bless us, lifting us into deeper fellowship with You. We ask all this in Your precious name, Jesus our Savior. Amen.
    Good morning, brethren. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀🌺🌹🎁🎀💝 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 2O26. "WORKING IN THE KINGDOM (2)" ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given...’ Matthew 25:29 NLT YOUR VALUE in a job is determined by the value you add to the job. When a Christian goes to work each day, God holds them accountable for adding, enhancing and improving things in their workplace. Jesus told the story of three men who were each given money. One was given five bags of it, another two, and another one. The first two ‘…went and traded with them, and gained…’ (Matthew 25:16 NAS). They showed skill, initiative, and made 100 percent profit. So they were commended by their master. But the third man just punched the clock, called in sick, didn’t train, try, dare, or do. So his job review didn’t go too well. And Jesus said something that ought to make us all sit up and take notice: ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.’ That means if your attitude and work ethic are poor, you’re in trouble with God. So, let’s stop and think about your job. If Jesus were your supervisor, would you do your work any differently? How would you answer the phone, type documents, treat your employees, or teach your pupils if Jesus were checking your work? As a citizen of God’s kingdom you need to periodically review your attitude on the job, solicit feedback on how you can grow, demonstrate love and grace to those you work with, make your company profitable, and enjoy the work you do. At that time, churches were nearly empty, and the younger generation had grown indifferent to the faith. Two elderly women, Peggy and Christine Smith, deeply burdened by the spiritual decline, began fervent prayer for God to awaken their community to righteousness. Their prayers were anchored in repentance and a return to the Lord. Soon, other believers joined them in prayer. One night, a young man leading the prayer meeting read from Psalm 24:3, 4: "Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart..." He cried out, "Is my heart clean? Are my hands pure?" That honest moment of repentance sparked a spiritual breakthrough, and soon people across the island began confessing their sins, turning back to God, and experiencing profound spiritual healing.* *In our text, the prophet calls God's people to repentance. The passage begins with a heartfelt plea for repentance and return to the Lord. It reflects Israel's realisation that they had strayed from God and were suffering the consequences of their rebellion. Yet, despite their waywardness, God desired to restore and revive them if they genuinely repented. The promises of being "revived after two days" and "restored on the third day" symbolised God's readiness to bring spiritual renewal to those who returned to Him.* *Christians today have important lessons to learn. True healing, whether it is healing from guilt, broken relationships, spiritual dryness or backsliding, begins with repentance. It is not just about feeling remorse but about acknowledging your sins, seeking God's forgiveness, and making a decisive turn toward Him.* *In our modern world, temptations and sin often pull people away from God. But just as the Hebrides Revival demonstrated, God responds powerfully to repentance. When believers humble themselves and call upon God for themselves or others, He is faithful to heal, restore, and pour out His blessings. For those who need healing today, they should return to the Lord, so He can bind up their wounds and revive their spirit.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Repentance opens the door to restoration.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *JOB 9-12*📜📜 [10/08, 9:23 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```TUESDAY 11TH AUGUST, 2026``` *HUMILIATION OF THE HAUGHTY* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🤨⚠️‼️🛑❌👎🏽⚖️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:ISAIAH 3:14-26```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts" (ISAIAH 3:17).*_ *A haughty person is one who is proud of himself or herself. Pride is dangerous to your spiritual wellbeing, as God hates pride.* *Saint Augustine was correct when he affirmed that "It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels." Pride cost the devil the opportunity of living eternally with God after he revolted against the authority of God in heaven.* *Young people of nowadays demonstrate pride because of their beauty or handsomeness, wears, education, family wealth and position in the society. Pride cost the devil and the fallen angels the kingdom of God, and would cost those who still indulge it.* *God frowns on pride among His children because all are equal before God and no one should look down on others. He came to bear our burdens and carry our sorrows.* Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, Prophet Isaiah spoke about what He would do. He said He would be a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. This was exactly what Jesus did when He was on earth. He is loving and compassionate. Our Bible passage shows one aspect of the nature of Christ. Getting to the house of His friends whose brother had died, Jesus, moved with compassion wept openly. It was the highest show of love from God to His creature. Jesus is teaching us here that weeping is not a sign of weakness. It is a way to identify with those who are hurting. At the end, Jesus raised Lazarus from death. *Are you sad or lonely? Are you suffering in any way? Remember, Jesus cares for you. He does not want you to suffer. Call upon Him in time of trouble, and you will experience His comforting arms of love.* 🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥 ```🅿️rayer:``` _*Compassionate Jesus, give me the grace to lean on You in times of trouble.*_ 🙏🏽 ```📖 Further Reading:``` *Matthew 11:28* [10/08, 9:23 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* TUESDAY, 11TH AUGUST, 2026. *PATHWAY TO RESTORATION AND REVIVAL* *TEXT:* HOSEA 6:1-3. 1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. *Timeless Truth:*_"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"_ (Hosea 6:3). *INTRODUCTION* "Return, "Revival", "Refresh" and "Restoration" are some of the words used in Biblical and Christian circles that show that something good and precious have been lost or missing and appropriate efforts should be made to get those things back. All these show man's deliberate responsibilities in order to keep the blessings of God for a long time . In 1948, a released christian newsletter during the time of revivalist Abraham Branham reads. “All the great outpourings of the past have had their outstanding truths. Luther’s truth was Justification by Faith. Wesley’s was Sanctification. The Baptists taught the premillennial coming of Christ. The Missionary Alliance taught Divine Healing. The Pentecostal outpouring has restored the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to its rightful place. But, the next great outpouring is going to be marked by all these other truths plus such a demonstration of the nine gifts of the Spirit as the world, not even the Apostolic world, has ever witnessed before. This revival will be short and will be the last before the Rapture of the Church.” The consolation and joy is that whatever great and wonderful experiences we have enjoyed in the past can still be restored by God if man does the needful. This is the message of Hosea to Israel and the godly. *1. Call to Return to God* a. Adam, representing the man of all ages, started with God, but departed from God and many woes followed. In order to vacate the woes, the message of God is simple, return to God. All the woes, challenges, calamities, anguish, backslidings and challenges of man have only one divine prescription: Return to God. Returning to God requires turning or change. Man is generally, reluctant to change. This is one of Newton's Laws of Motion. Willingness to turn is generally, where the problem of man lies. The turning to God requires acceptance of wrongs towards God, decisions with appropriate steps and asking God for forgiveness without self justification. It involves deliberate action of repentance. Repentance from what cause the loss of good old blessings, including repentance from sin, unforgiving spirit, bitterness against neighbours and perhaps God, love of the world, selective obedience to the command of God in any area etc., are just what God is looking for before He pours down His blessings afresh. God did not see that turning or repentance in Adam and Eve. Both of them were busy giving excuses and blaming each other. Neither fully admitted his/her obvious wrong and neither fully repented and returned to God. The repercussion was that they never got the blessing they lost back. They were driven from the beautiful, blessed and blissful garden. If they had returned to God with words of soberness and repentance, the story would have been different for them and the whole humanity. All lost blessings from God are only returned after turning and repentance from the root cause. b. The message of God is the same. *"Come, and let us return unto the LORD"*. Stop the blame game. Stop the murmuring and complain. The promise of God for the repentant is valid at all times and in all generations. *"For he hath torn, and he will heal us"*. When your garment of glory is torn, when your shining regalia of blessings is torn, when the source of your joy is torn, the immediate and uncompromisable demand of God and solution is to turn to God. *"He hath smitten, and he will bind us up"*. This is a word of assurance for those who take the courage to turn from their evil ways, carelessness and compromise. *Question* Assess your life where you have departed from God and your old consecration to God and His word. Are you willing to turn? Start today. *2. Comforting Revival Through Grace* a. Has Israel not gone too far to an irredeemable damnable and bitter experience? God, through Hosea says NO. When there is possibility and willingness to turn, the promise to restore and revive is always unbreakable. Jesus said, *"the scripture cannot be broken."* Hosea used the picture of Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus on the third day to show the reality and restoration of revival for dead bones. *"After two days will he revive us"*. After two days is the third day including all other days after the third day. It shows the beginning of revival on the third day and the continuity of revival after the third day. *"In the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight"*. The resurrection of Jesus Christ has assurably made possible the restoration of any dead soul and experiences even when it appears they are already stinking spiritually in the grave. b. The parable of dead bones in Ezekiel 37 shows that revival and restoration is possible when the Word of God is given a prominent and final say in the life of an individual, family, church or nation. All the revivals the Church has experienced in different ages at a time of total darkness were as a result of giving the Word of God the first and unquestionably place. The same applies to any individual that needs revival. Taking the Word of God at face values drives to repentance including burdened and persistent prayers. Once this is done, the rain will definitely fall and there will be repentance and restoration. *Question* Are you desirous of revival and restoration of past glories in your life? From the explanation above, what is your decision? *3. Continuous Refreshment unto Glory* a. Why blessings are lost and revival is gone is because of lack of continuity in the Old faith and consecration that brought the revival in the first place. Jesus said, *"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples in deed"*. Disciples in deeds are different from disciples in the mouth to profession. Continuity is the key. *"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD"*. Continuous following leads to deeper knowledge and deeper knowledge is manifested by continuous following. *"His going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"*.   • NEVER BECOME TOO OLD FOR WAR
    Many believers think there comes a point where they can stop fighting. They have been in church for years, they know the Scriptures, they have experience, and they assume the battles are behind them. That is not the picture the Bible gives us.
    Look at Caleb. At eighty-five years old, he was not asking for an easy inheritance. He was asking for the mountain occupied by giants (Joshua 14:10–12). While others would have looked for somewhere peaceful to settle, Caleb asked for the hardest territory.
    His age had not changed his attitude. He said the same strength he had forty years earlier was still with him. He had not spent his life pursuing comfort. He had spent his life preparing to drive out God's enemies. That is the mindset believers are meant to have.
    The problem with many Christians is not that they have grown old. It is that they have grown comfortable.
    Some people have been born again for ten or fifteen years and already speak as though they have arrived. They assume maturity means the fighting is over.
    The question is not, "How long have I been saved?" The question is, "Is there still an enemy occupying territory that belongs to God?"
    As long as there is something resisting God's will in your life or around you, there is still work to do.
    That enemy may be sin. It may be fear. It may be pride. It may be a mindset that has survived for years. Whatever it is, your assignment has not changed.
    Caleb refused to let age become an excuse. Abraham fought kings in old age. David spent his life fighting the Lord's battles. These men did not retire from spiritual warfare because they had lived long.
    God is still looking for people who refuse to stop fighting until every enemy has been driven out.
    Ask God to show you the enemies still occupying space in your life. Then fight. Not with excuses. Not with resignation but with the determination of Caleb.
    It's my birthday today, pray with me so I will always be relevant and available in the battlefield.
    Shalom!
