JULY 2026🔥* *THEME: UNFORGIVENESS—A HIDDEN DOOR TO SATAN'S OPPRESSION* *TEXT: Ephesians 4:26-27* *"Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil."* *DAILY READING* Matthew 18:21–35; Ephesians 4:26–32 🔥 Not every prison has iron bars. Some people are imprisoned by bitterness, resentment, hatred, and unforgiveness. They smile in public but carry deep wounds in their hearts. Satan delights when people refuse to forgive because unforgiveness becomes fertile ground for his destructive work. Many people have been deeply wounded by betrayal, abuse, abandonment, false accusations, family conflicts, or broken relationships. God does not ignore such pain. He understands it. However, He warns us not to allow our wounds to become weapons that Satan uses against us. The devil knows that an unforgiving heart gradually hardens. Prayer becomes difficult, love grows cold, peace disappears, and joy is replaced by anger. Broken relationships often multiply, and many people remain emotionally and spiritually bound for years because they refuse to release those who have offended them. In many African families, and globally, long-standing disputes over inheritance, marriage, land, or tribal differences have divided generations. Some families have refused to speak to one another for decades. Such bitterness destroys homes, churches, friendships, and communities. While people often blame witches or curses, they sometimes overlook the destructive power of hatred and unforgiveness. The Bible says, "Neither give place to the devil." One of the ways believers give him a foothold is by refusing to forgive. Forgiveness does not mean pretending that evil never happened, nor does it always remove earthly consequences. It means releasing the offender into God's hands instead of allowing bitterness to rule your heart. Jesus Christ is our perfect example. Even while suffering on the cross, He prayed, *"Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."* If Christ forgave us our countless sins, He also gives us the grace to forgive others. Today, ask yourself: Is there someone I need to forgive? A Nugget of Truth. REVELATION’S TWO WOMEN. The Pure Church of Christ and the Harlot System of Babylon Revelation shows two women because prophecy shows two kinds of religion. One is faithful to Christ. One is unfaithful with the world. One is clothed with heaven’s light. One is decorated with earthly glory. One keeps God’s commandments. One makes nations drunk with error. THE PURE WOMAN — CHRIST’S FAITHFUL CHURCH 📖 “A woman clothed with the sun…” — Revelation 12:1 The pure woman represents God’s faithful people—covered with Christ’s righteousness, standing on Bible truth, and loyal to God’s commandments. 📖 “The dragon… went to make war with the remnant… which keep the commandments of God.” — Revelation 12:17 TRUTH: The true church is not proven by popularity, wealth, or state approval. The fall began when human tradition, church authority, and worldly power rose above Scripture. 📖 “The mystery of iniquity doth already work…” — 2 Thessalonians 2:7 Historically, Christianity gained legal standing under Constantine in A.D. 313, and the church’s civil influence grew in later centuries. That history matters because when religion gains the sword of the state, conscience becomes vulnerable. ✍️ “It was by departure from the Lord, and alliance with the heathen, that the Jewish church became a harlot.” — The Great Controversy, p. 382 TRUTH: A church begins to fall when she stops depending on Christ and begins depending on power. THE HARLOT IS BORN WHEN RELIGION MARRIES THE WORLD. 🟢 4. HOW DOES BABYLON WORK NOW? Babylon works through unity without truth. “Let us unite.” “Let us heal the world.” “Let us set doctrine aside.” “Let us cooperate for peace.” But the question is: UNITY AROUND CHRIST—OR COMPROMISE? The World Council of Churches traces its modern ecumenical work to its 1948 founding and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. Vatican II’s Unitatis Redintegratio also said restoring unity among Christians was one of the council’s chief concerns. TRUTH: Unity is beautiful only when truth remains supreme. UNITY THAT SILENCES GOD’S COMMANDMENTS IS NOT REVIVAL—IT IS BABYLON. 🔵 5. WHAT DO CURRENT HEADLINES SHOW? Current headlines are not the final fulfillment by themselves, but they show religion, politics, and conscience-pressure drawing closer. Pew reported in 2026 that 37% of U.S. adults say religion is gaining influence in American life, the highest level in its surveys going back to 2002. AP reported that the U.S. “Rededicate 250” prayer event drew criticism from groups warning it blurred church-state boundaries and promoted Christian nationalism. Globally, Pew found that 59 countries had high or very high government restrictions on religion in 2022, a new peak in its tracking. TRUTH: The world is not becoming spiritually neutral. RELIGION, POLITICS, IDENTITY, AND CONTROL ARE MOVING CLOSER TOGETHER. 🟣 6. WHAT IS MEN’S DESIGN? Men’s design says: Unity above doctrine. Peace above obedience. Majority above Scripture. Power above conscience. Tradition above commandment. The Advent Truth. Many people sincerely love Jesus within the Roman Catholic system. This is not about attacking individuals. But when we compare Scripture with Scripture, the Bible gives specific identifying marks for God’s final remnant church — and Catholicism does not fit them. Revelation 12:17 says the remnant: “keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” The end-time remnant would: Keep ALL of God’s commandments — including the seventh-day Sabbath. Have the “testimony of Jesus,” which Revelation 19:10 defines as “the spirit of prophecy.” Rise after the 1,260 years of papal persecution (538–1798). Proclaim the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14 to the whole world. Call people out of Babylon and back to Bible truth. Roman Catholicism cannot be that remnant because historically it openly claims authority to change God’s law regarding the Sabbath. Even Catholic sources admit Sunday observance is based on church tradition, not a command of Scripture. The remnant church, however, would uphold God’s commandments — not alter them. The Bible also describes the woman of Revelation 17 as a church clothed in worldly power, sitting on many waters, ruling over kings, and intoxicated with false doctrine and persecution. That system cannot simultaneously be the pure remnant woman of Revelation 12. Only the Seventh-day Adventist Church uniquely fits ALL the prophetic marks together: ✔️ Emerged after 1798. ✔️ Keeps the seventh-day Sabbath. ✔️ Emphasizes obedience through faith in Christ. ✔️ Possesses the prophetic ministry associated with Ellen G. White. ✔️ Proclaims Revelation 14 globally. ✔️ Teaches the heavenly sanctuary, judgment, and Christ’s soon return. This is not a claim of superiority because Adventists are better people. The remnant is not about human perfection — it is about a movement God raises up to restore forgotten truths before Jesus returns. God has faithful children in many churches, including Catholicism.
