The captives are yearning for freedom and God has appointed you to accomplish that mission. How far about it? wake up, sleeping giants. Wake up your anointing. HOW TO WAKE THE GIANT IN YOU. 1. The point of the text is that God manifests his righteousness in the fullest sense of the word. Again, this implies God’s work of faith. But Holstege left his hearers with a general righteousness of Christ at the cross, with only a possibility of righteousness, and so therefore, in his sermon the question is entirely fitting. The crux of Holstege’s sermon is not the cross of Christ, but the crux of the matter is whether or not man believes.
