Here is a personal, heartfelt prayer for the children in your life, structured around 15 foundational themes and backed by Scripture references to pray over them.

A Prayer for the Children in Our Lives

    Heavenly Father,
I come before You today lifting up the precious children You have entrusted to my life and care. You know them by name, You knit them together, and Your love for them far exceeds my own. I lay their lives, their futures, and their hearts at Your feet, standing on the promises of Your Word.
    1. Salvation and Faith
Lord, above all else, I pray for their hearts. Open their eyes to Your truth at a young age. May they come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, trusting in Him for their salvation. For you Word states: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
    2. Spiritual Growth and Wisdom
Father, Grant them wisdom beyond their years. Help them grow daily in the grace and knowledge of our Lord, loving Your Word and seeking Your guidance in every decision. You says:"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18)
    3. Protection from Harm and Evil
I pray for Your divine hedge of protection around them Lord—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guard them from accident, illness, temptation, and the schemes of the enemy. For you said in your Word: "The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore." (Psalm 121:7–8)
    4. Godly and Wise Friendships
Surround them with friends who encourage them, sharpen them, and walk in righteousness Lord. Protect them from unhealthy influences, and give them the courage to be a light to those around them. Again, you said in your Word Lord: "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed." (Proverbs 13:20)
    5. Purity and Integrity
Father God, Keep their hearts, minds, and bodies pure. Give them the strength to stand against peer pressure and societal expectations, choosing integrity even when no one is watching. Your Word states: "How can a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed according to Your word." (Psalm 119:9)
    6. Emotional Health and Peace of Mind
Guard their minds against anxiety, fear, depression, and confusion. Lord, Fill them with the peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest securely in their identity in Christ. I stand on your Word: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6–7)
    7. Purpose and Calling
Unveil Your purpose for their lives. Show them the unique spiritual gifts, talents, and passions You have placed inside them, and give them the desire to use those gifts to serve You and others. I believe what you say in your Word: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)
    8. Respect and Obedience toward Authority
Father, I ask you to Teach them by your Holy Spirit to honor their parents, teachers, leaders, and mentors. Give them a teachable spirit that receives instruction, discipline, and counsel with grace and humility. Your Word plainly states: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with promise." (Ephesians 6:1–2)
    9. A Spirit of Kindness and Compassion
And Lord God, Fill their hearts with genuine love for others. Give them eyes to see those who are hurting or lonely, and grant them a generous, compassionate spirit that reflects Your mercy. Again I believe what your Word says: "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)
    10. Resilience and Perseverance
When trials, failures, or disappointments come, Father give them the grit and faith to bounce back. Help them understand that challenges refine their character and strengthen their hope. I stand on what is written in your Word: "We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." (Romans 5:3–4)
    11. Courage and Boldness
Make them strong and courageous in a world that often opposes Your truth. Give them the boldness to share their faith and stand up for what is right, without fear or shame. Lord God, As you Word states: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
    12. Self-Discipline and Diligence
Father, I am trusting you to Instill in them a strong work ethic, whether in their schooling, chores, or responsibilities. Help them steward their time, resources, and bodies with discipline and self-control. Again, I stand on your Word: "Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men." (Colossians 3:23)
    13. A Heart of Gratitude and Joy
Lord, I pray that you Keep their hearts free from discontentment, envy, and entitlement. Plant a deep sense of joy in their souls and a habit of giving thanks to You in all circumstances. As your Word states: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)
    14. Divine Guidance for Their Future
And Lord, I pray for their future—their education, careers, relationships, and ultimate life choices. Lead them step-by-step along the path You have ordained for them, keeping them from wrong turns. I stand on what your Word says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5–6)
    15. Godly Future Spouses and Households
Looking ahead to the years to come, Father God I ask that You prepare the hearts of their future spouses, if it be Your will. May they build families rooted in Christ, passing down a legacy of faith for generations to come. Again I agree with what your say in your Word Lord: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)
And in closing Father, I place these children securely in Your hands.(Name them). Work in them and through them, and grant me the grace, wisdom, and patience to love, guide, and support them as well in your sight. I trust and ask your Holy Spirit to guide me in this great and all important endeavor and I thank you and praise you for these precious young lives you have blessed me with and I give them over to your watchful eyes, love and care this day. Thank-you for hearing my prayer for them today.
In Jesus' precious and powerful name,
    Amen.

  • Fuyang: Challenges and Struggles
China Partnership: What are some common challenges, fears, and struggles that you and your church encounter as you minister to people in Fuyang? How can we pray?

    Evangelism and Shepherding
Song Xile: The first challenge is political. As control has tightened, evangelism has become harder. Fifteen years ago, we would go to a local park every few months to sing hymns, hand out gospel tracts, and hold a small outdoor worship gathering. This drew in Christians who hadn’t yet found a church. It also made the gospel and Christian faith visible, letting people know a community of believers existed here in Fuyang. That was part of our vision.

But after faith came under tighter control, we couldn’t do that. Even so, if we met someone who was curious about the gospel, we’d sit down and talk. People showed real interest, and some believed. It was actually quite fruitful. But after 2011, we stopped altogether. That is a big challenge: public evangelism has been shut down.

The government promotes the narrative that certain groups are “cults… Because of this, a lot of people are very wary of Christianity…. So, even when we try to share the gospel privately, many people are guarded and resistant.

Private evangelism also has challenges. The government promotes the narrative that certain groups are “cults” without directly saying house churches or mainstream Christianity are cults. Because of this, a lot of people are very wary of Christianity. The government also uses the “cult” label to spread false propaganda that includes regular house churches. So, even when we try to share the gospel privately, many people are guarded and resistant; they’ve been shaped by this narrative.

Another thing that makes Fuyang hard to reach is materialism. Fuyang’s economy developed pretty late, because Fuyang is inland. People are focused on material gain: buying a house, buying a car, looking prosperous. The culture of comparison is very strong. If you ask someone to believe the gospel, their instinct is, “The most important thing right now is earning money.”

The other challenge is shepherding. Ten years ago, we could give a simple sermon, and that was enough. Believers had limited theological knowledge, and basic biblical understanding. A good sermon could engage them. But now, urban believers are more educated, and their overall knowledge is higher. Pastoral care now can’t just stop at preaching or giving advice. More and more, people are dealing with the psychological wounds of modern urban life: marriage problems, infidelity, dissatisfaction, the pull toward other things to satisfy needs that faith alone doesn’t seem to fill. The challenge of secularization is very serious.

It’s more complex to shepherd people through these issues now than it was ten or even five years ago. Now, a simple pastoral visit is not enough. You might need to sit for a long time and just listen while people try to say things they themselves don’t fully understand and can’t quite put into words. I feel this deeply.

I personally went through a serious bout of depression last year. Several others in our church are dealing with it as well. In my experience, depression is one manifestation of psychological and spiritual distress, and it’s becoming more common. A brief conversation won’t help. Pastors today need deeper counseling skills and deeper understanding to shepherd well.

As for prayer, we need to stay open to learn truth, and pastors need to be continually equipped. Faith and knowledge grow hand in hand. We need to hold fast to our church’s original vision of gospel-centered shepherding of believers. Persecution can scatter and distract from that vision, instead drawing attention toward managing the crisis.

We say persecution is a grace from God – and it may well be – but it extracts a real spiritual cost from believers and the church. It shifts our gaze from the gospel to the crisis, from proclaiming the Word to managing fears and responses.

    Nurturing the Relationship with God
Tan Jianli: I totally agree with what Elder Song said – one Sunday sermon is not enough. Yet, I’m grateful that those believers who have stayed [in church despite persecution] are taking their personal walk with God more seriously. After everything we’ve gone through together, they treasure that personal relationship. I’m thankful for that. They are staying committed to the church, and holding onto each other like brothers and sisters. They share prayer requests, chat, care about their relationship with God, and read Scripture and pray. They don’t just show up on Sunday. So, what matters most is not just the Sunday sermon – it’s the personal relationship between each person and God.

We say persecution is a grace from God – and it may well be – but it extracts a real spiritual cost from believers and the church.

I don’t really know how to solve our challenges. Please pray for the servants who are leading our church through this challenging time.

    Bringing Hope Amid Persecution
Zhang Ping: Our main challenges come from two directions. The first is persecution. When we planted a new church, we grew quickly. People brought friends and family; the atmosphere was wonderful and everyone came enthusiastically. But once persecution started, seekers and friends who hadn’t fully committed got scared and stopped coming.

The second challenge is economic and cultural. People are focused on themselves and their freedom, and are drawn to material comfort. In this culture, people’s values are tilted toward the world. That makes evangelism really tough. The forces of economy and culture don’t just affect society, they also deeply affect the church. Pastoral care is harder, especially for young people – both new Christians and the adult children of believing families. You have to understand where people are coming from, how they’re responding to pressure, and then figure out how to use God’s word to shepherd them in a way that actually reaches them.

Some local pastors have been detained. We are told these pastors have been sharing the gospel with other prisoners in the jail – and it is actually going better than on the outside. In prison, people have more free time, and when prisoners hear the gospel, it’s like they’ve found a lifeline. Some are despairing, not knowing what lies ahead, and that’s their state when the pastors share with them. Many in jail are willing to listen, and some have come to believe. In prison, there is real grace to witness.

Looking at the whole picture, these times are genuinely challenging, and test the church. It brings real fear and struggle in people’s hearts. Think about it: what happens if your church is labeled as a “cult?” If your children’s schooling is threatened? Or your job and livelihood are endangered? If you don’t comply, you might lose everything because of your faith. That’s a heavy burden.

How do we, as pastors, shepherd? How do we bring hope? How do we help people realign their values so faith remains central?

    Persecution of Children and Teachers
Hu Laiyang: Our school was raided a few years ago. Since then, we have been basically unable to meet together in-person. Children and teachers face the most direct persecution of any group. Children need to learn every day; they’re not like adults, who just gather [to worship] once or twice a week.

In this situation, learning has been difficult. We have done different things: rent out-of-the-way spaces in rural areas; meet in family homes; hold outdoor classes. Through all this, the academic situation has not been good, and the children’s souls have been deeply wounded. Finally, we had to begin to meet online for much of our time together.

Some local pastors have been detained. We are told these pastors have been sharing the gospel with other prisoners in the jail – and it is actually going better than on the outside… Many in jail are willing to listen, and some have come to believe.

With all this, many children have developed tics, physical and psychological symptoms [of the intense stress]. For me, that’s the most heartbreaking thing. This all creates heaviness and darkness inside.

Certain things make it worse: if parents aren’t directing them, children can fall into phone addictions. Others are only children, and are very lonely. Some families have been repeatedly questioned by the authorities, which brings even further trauma.

The school also serious financial strain. Teachers face very difficult family situations, with teachers barely getting by [on the meager school salary]. We owe these teachers a great debt.

Pastoral care for children is tough, not like it used to be when children were simpler and less “cluttered” in their hearts. Now they have opened their eyes to screens, and endless stimulation everywhere.
Fuyang: Challenges and Struggles China Partnership: What are some common challenges, fears, and struggles that you and your church encounter as you minister to people in Fuyang? How can we pray? • Did you know?
YOU CAN CALL HER FALSE, BUT THEN EXPLAIN THE WISDOM.

Before anyone casually says, “Ellen White was a false prophet,” let one question stand before the conscience:

WHERE DID HER WISDOM COME FROM?

    A weak, wounded girl.
    Only limited formal schooling.
    Not trained as a theologian.
    Not trained as a doctor.
    Not trained as a scientist.
    Not trained as an educator.
Not trained as a family counselor.
    Not trained as a nutritionist.
    Not trained as a historian.
    Yet her pen touched:

    Bible prophecy.
    The life of Christ.
    Health.
    Family.
    Education.
    Science principles.
    Medical missionary work.
    Nutrition.
    Temperance.
    Publishing.
    Evangelism.
    Character.
    Last-day preparation.

If this was not heaven-sent wisdom, then critics must explain how one frail woman with little schooling produced counsel so broad, practical, Christ-centered, Bible-filled, and still life-changing more than a century later.
Her influence cannot be brushed away with mockery. Ellen G. White became one of the most translated religious authors in history, and in 2014, Smithsonian Magazine included her among the 100 Most Significant Americans of All Time.
That does not replace the Bible.
That does not prove inspiration by itself.
    But it does prove this:

HER LIFE CANNOT BE DISMISSED WITH A LAZY INSULT.
    ---

    1. TEST HER BY THE BIBLE—DO NOT MOCK FIRST

God never asks us to accept anyone blindly.
But He does command us to test honestly.

“Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
    — 1 Thessalonians 5:20–21

“To the law and to the testimony.”
    — Isaiah 8:20

“By their fruits ye shall know them.”
    — Matthew 7:20

The Bible test is not gossip.
    Not anger.
    Not prejudice.
    Not copied accusations.
Not one sentence torn from context.

    The real test is:

Does the message agree with Scripture?
    Does it exalt Jesus?
    Does it rebuke sin?
    Does it call to repentance?
    Does it produce holiness?
Does it lead to obedience, mission, and readiness?

If she is false, prove it by the Bible.
If she is true, do not reject light because the messenger was humble.
    ---

    2. HER WISDOM WAS FAR BEYOND HER EDUCATION

Ellen White’s formal education was small—
    but the message was vast.

She wrote with unusual depth on:

    Christ’s righteousness.
    The great controversy.
    The sanctuary.
    The judgment.
    The Three Angels’ Messages.
    The Sabbath.
    Health reform.
    Education reform.
    Family reform.
    Child training.
    Mental discipline.
    Temperance.
    Mission.
    Character building.
    Preparation for Jesus’ return.

Her public prophetic ministry began in December 1844.

Her major writings and themes stretched across decades:

    Early Writings — early material 1851 - 1882.w
The Great Controversy — expanded 1888; revised 1911.
    Steps to Christ — 1892.
Thoughts From the Mount of Blessing — 1896.
The Desire of Ages — 1898.
    Christ’s Object Lessons — 1900.
    Education — 1903.
The Ministry of Healing — 1905.
The Acts of the Apostles — 1911.
Prophets and Kings — 1917, published after her death.

Her education was small—but her message built minds, homes, schools, hospitals, churches, and missions.

IF SHE WAS FALSE, EXPLAIN THE SOURCE.
    ---

    3. HER HEALTH WISDOM OUTRAN SCIENCE

In the 1800s, when many medical ideas were confused and often harmful, Ellen White was already urging principles now widely recognized as wise:

    Fresh air.
    Clean water.
    Sunlight.
    Exercise.
    Rest.
    Temperance.
    Simple diet.
    Plant-based foods.
    Avoiding tobacco.
    Avoiding alcohol.
    Prevention before cure.
    Self-control.
The connection between body, mind, and soul.

Tobacco — warned in 1864, confirmed later

In 1864, Ellen White warned that tobacco was destructive and poisonous.
Science confirmed the deadly link much later: major smoking/lung cancer research came in 1950, and the U.S. Surgeon General’s report followed in 1964.

She warned while the world tolerated it. Science came late

Simple, temperate, plant-based living — taught in 1897/1905

In Healthful Living (1897) and The Ministry of Healing (1905), she urged simple food, temperance, exercise, fresh air, water, rest, prevention, and self-control.

Later research connected Adventist lifestyle patterns with better health and longevity, including Loma Linda as a recognized Blue Zone.

Long before “lifestyle medicine” became popular, she was calling people to it.

Mind-body connection — written in 1905, developed by science later

In The Ministry of Healing (1905), she taught that fear, anxiety, guilt, grief, and distrust weaken life—while courage, hope, faith, gratitude, and love promote health.

Science later developed whole fields around this connection, especially psychoneuroimmunology from the 1970s onward.

“The body is the only medium through which the mind and the soul are developed for the upbuilding of character.”
    — The Ministry of Healing, p. 130

Falsehood poisons. Her health counsel promoted prevention, temperance, clearer minds, stronger bodies, and longer usefulness for God.

FALSE PROPHET—YET HEALTH WISDOM A CENTURY AHEAD?
    ---

    4. HER WISDOM HELPED BUILD HOMES

Long before broken homes became common, Ellen White called families back to God.

She taught: parents as first teachers, home as the first school, character before display, tenderness with firmness, self-control, prayer, useful labor, and Bible-centered training.

Her family counsels were later compiled in The Adventist Home and Child Guidance.

Piercing truth: A false message destroys homes. Her counsel called homes back to prayer, purity, discipline, tenderness, and Christ.

If she was false, why did her counsel strengthen family life?
    ---

    5. HER WISDOM HELPED BUILD SCHOOLS

Ellen White taught that true education is not just degrees, pride, or worldly success.

“True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study.”
    — Education, p. 13

She emphasized mind, body, spirit, character, service, useful labor, Bible truth, and preparation for eternity.

    Education was published in 1903.

Piercing truth: Her education message was not mere schooling—it was character for eternity.

If she was false, why did her wisdom help build schools centered on service, Scripture, and character?
    ---

    6. HER WISDOM HELPED BUILD HOSPITALS AND MEDICAL MISSIONARY WORK

Her health message did not remain theory. It inspired medical missionary work, sanitariums, hospitals, health education, and healing ministry.

“Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people.”
    — The Ministry of Healing, p. 143

Her message was clear: treat the body, reach the heart, relieve suffering, teach prevention, and point souls to Christ.

Piercing truth: Her health work did not merely condemn disease—it built institutions of mercy.

If she was false, why did her message help build hospitals, clinics, health missions, and lives of service?
    ---

    7. HER WRITINGS EXALT CHRIST—NOT HERSELF

A false prophet draws attention to self. Ellen White pointed souls back to Jesus.

“Christ is the source of every right impulse.”
    — Steps to Christ, p. 26

“As the Son of man, He gave us an example of obedience; as the Son of God, He gives us power to obey.”
    — The Desire of Ages, p. 24

Her message does not say, “Look to Ellen.”

    It says: LOOK TO JESUS.

Piercing truth: Her writings make Christ precious, sin dangerous, Scripture urgent, and eternity real.

That is not the fruit of darkness.
    ---

    8. SHE LABORED UNTIL OLD AGE—AND DIED WITH FAITH ON HER LIPS

Ellen White’s ministry began in December 1844 and continued for about 70 years.

She spent her final years at Elmshaven, still writing and preparing counsel for the church.

She died on July 16, 1915, at 87 years old.

Her final major authorial work was Prophets and Kings, published after her death in 1917.

    Her last recorded words were:

“I KNOW IN WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED.”

Piercing truth: She did not end pointing to herself. She ended confessing confidence in Christ.

A life of labor. A message of Christ. A final confession of faith.

    ILLUSTRATION

Imagine a wounded girl with little schooling being handed a lamp.

She did not create the flame.
She did not own the light.
    She only carried it.

    But that light reached:

    Homes.
    Schools.
    Hospitals.
    Churches.
    Families.
    Sickrooms.
    Mission fields.
    Broken hearts.

    Critics may mock the carrier—
but they still must explain the light.

WAS THIS MERELY HUMAN LEARNING—OR HEAVEN-SENT LIGHT THROUGH A HUMBLE INSTRUMENT?
    ---

MY PERSONAL CHALLENGE TO THE CRITIC

Before calling her false, read her books honestly:

    Steps to Christ.
    The Desire of Ages.
    The Great Controversy.
    The Ministry of Healing.
    Education.
    Prophets and Kings.

    Read not to attack—
    but to test.

    Read prayerfully.
    Compare with Scripture.
    Examine the fruit.

I personally read her writings, and they did not pull me away from the Bible.
They made me love it more.

They made Jesus more beautiful, sin more hateful, duty clearer, obedience more meaningful, and the final warning more urgent.

That is why I cannot casually call her false.

FALSEHOOD DOES NOT USUALLY MAKE CHRIST DEARER, THE BIBLE BRIGHTER, AND HEAVEN NEARER.

❤ Beloved, do not worship Ellen White.
Do not place her above the Bible.
Do not use her writings to replace Scripture.

But do not despise what God may have sent because the messenger was humble, wounded, female, and poorly educated.

“God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”
    — 1 Corinthians 1:27

“Believe in the LORD your God… believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”
    — 2 Chronicles 20:20

    The question is not:

    Can critics insult her?
    Of course they can.

    The real question is:

DO HER WRITINGS LEAD TO CHRIST, SCRIPTURE, REPENTANCE, HEALTH, HOLINESS, FAMILY REFORM, EDUCATION REFORM, MISSION, AND READINESS FOR JESUS?

If the fruit points to Christ, Bible truth, obedience, purity, temperance, service, and preparation—be careful before calling light darkness.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.”
    — Isaiah 5:20---

If Ellen White was false, explain the wisdom.

    Explain the homes strengthened.
    Explain the schools inspired.
    Explain the hospitals built.
Explain the health counsels ahead of their time.
    Explain the family principles.
    Explain the Christ-centered writings.
    Explain the prophetic urgency.
Explain why her books still lead souls to Jesus, Scripture, repentance, reform, and readiness.

    Was it chance?
    Was it guesswork?
    Was it mere education?

Or was God using the weak to awaken the world?

    Do not worship the messenger.
But do not reject heaven’s message because the vessel was humble.

    Test her properly:

    By the Bible.
    By the fruit.
    By Christ.
    By obedience.
    By the prophetic message.

And when the evidence speaks, do not harden the heart.

**HER EDUCATION WAS SMALL—BUT THE MESSAGE WAS VAST.

HER BODY WAS WEAK—BUT THE LIGHT WAS STRONG.
HER NAME WAS HUMAN—BUT THE WISDOM POINTED TO HEAVEN.**
Did you know? YOU CAN CALL HER FALSE, BUT THEN EXPLAIN THE WISDOM. Before anyone casually says, “Ellen White was a false prophet,” let one question stand before the conscience: WHERE DID HER WISDOM COME FROM? A weak, wounded girl. Only limited formal schooling. Not trained as a theologian. Not trained as a doctor. Not trained as a scientist. Not trained as an educator. Not trained as a family counselor. Not trained as a nutritionist. Not trained as a historian. Yet her pen touched: Bible prophecy. The life of Christ. Health. Family. Education. Science principles. Medical missionary work. Nutrition. Temperance. Publishing. Evangelism. Character. Last-day preparation. • Dear Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, We need a special prayer; it has been more than 10 years going through trials, tests and hardship, although remember that the Lord brought out Moses from a comfortable life to a life in the wilderness and doing shepherd work in hot and cold weather for 40 years, which was totally opposite of his early 40 years at Pharaoh's house living like a prince.
same we had; we still pray that Lord keeps us firm in our faith in our saviour Jesus Christ.
Kids who were used to sleeping in air conditioning now sleep even without a fan in sweltering hot weather nowadays.
Kids who were used to sleeping on mattresses and in bed now sleep on the earth, on the floor, on the sheet.
Kids who were used to pray that the Lord bring some people who are in need and hungry to eat with us, now seek Lord to provide even a single time meal in a day for them
Kids who were used to sharing clothes with others in need now seek clothes for years.
Kids who were used to pay their pocket money for paying school fee of other students now no schooling because cannot afford the fees, books, uniforms, etc.
We were supporting several pastors and widows for their house rent and foodstuffs, but now our landlord is ready to kick us out.
Even though things are worse than this, praise the Lord that nothing can keep us away from the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
    Thanks for your prayers.

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Good morning and praise God. Today is my birthday, and I stand in awe of the goodness of the Lord. I was born in Nyeri, facing the majesty of Mt. Kenya, and through the years I have seen God’s hand move in miraculous ways. From schooling to work, from healing to daily provision, the Lord has carried me through challenges and turned them into testimonies. I feel this song sing in me : "Up the mountains down the valley ,on the land and in sea...the LORD is my shepherd in the land of the living, the LORD is good, forevermore....Jesus power, superpower, Satan power powerless power.."

The verse of today reminds me that today is not just another day—it is a day the Lord Himself has made for me to rejoice. Life is a gift, and each year is a chapter written by His hand. As I reflect on my journey, I see His faithfulness shining through every season. The valleys did not consume me, and the mountain tops revealed His glory. Truly, I have reason to be thankful.

I rejoice because God has given me the privilege to share His Word daily with people of all ages like you. That calling is not small—it is a seed planted in many hearts, and I trust Him to water it so that it bears fruit. I rejoice because the same God who has carried me this far will continue to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I ask or imagine.

So today, I lift my voice in thanksgiving. I celebrate not just the years behind me, but the grace that sustains me and the hope that lies ahead. This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I welcome you to rejoice with me . God loves you.

    Shalom. Shalom.

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent”—1 Corinthians 1:19

There is positive peril in advising students to pursue one line of education after another, and to leave them to think that by so doing they will attain perfection. The education that will be obtained will only be deficient in every way. The Lord says: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” This is God's devised plan; and through successive generations, through centuries of heathenism, this plan has been carried forward, not as an experiment, but as an approved way for the spreading of the gospel. Through this method from the beginning, conviction came upon humanity, and the world was enlightened concerning the gospel of God. The highest grade of schooling that any human being can attain to is the schooling given by the Divine Teacher. This is the knowledge that in a special sense we shall greatly need as we draw near the close of this world's history, and everyone will do well to obtain this kind of education. The Lord requires that men and women shall be under His training. There is a great work to be done in bringing human minds out of darkness into the marvelous light of God. As His human instrumentalities, we are by living faith to carry out His plans. Are we in a condition in which our faith will not work to the glory of God, or are we vessels meet for the Master's use, prepared for every good work?

Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. He received an education in the providence of God; but a large part of that education had to be unlearned, and accounted as foolishness....

The experiment of the world's wisdom had been fully tested at the advent of Christ, and the boasted human wisdom had proved wanting. Men and women knew not the true wisdom that comes from the Source of all good. The world's wisdom was weighed in the balances, and found wanting.—Fundamentals of Christian Education, 359-361.

Further Reflection: What will I learn from heaven's Divine Teacher today?

  • Testimony:
After my marriage, we were planning for a baby but not succeeded. So we went to a doctor, they treated us. But still we were struggling.
We never stopped in prayers, one day my wife conceived and few days after one prophet prophesied that my wife is bearing a son and Lord told him name him Samuel. The same thing was happened.
After 3 years, doctor diagnosed him features of Autism and ADHD. We knew that this is a satan plotting. Along with schooling 3 years we have given him therapy from 3 institutes and lot of costly medications and even international medical tests but there was no result.
I praise God for the church we are in, Ankit Sajwan Ministries under the grace of them through Christ Jesus now my son is well settled in his Class 1 in studies and other things. Also since I have connected with Pastor John Anosike life is changing and also in the spiritual realms.
