MESSAGE: In Proverbs 31:1-9, one of the things King Lemuel's mother taught him was that there were certain things that kings should not do. She told him that kings should not give their strength to women, nor should they follow the ways that destroy kings, nor should they drink wine or strong drink. If a fellow does the things that kings shouldn't do, it is expected that such a person would either never become a king or would be dethroned if he or she is already a king. To fully enjoy the gains of any covenant with God, you must be ready to fulfil its terms and conditions by surrendering totally to Him and obeying all His instructions. Once you decide to serve God with all your life and do whatever He says, sooner or later, people will come to you and say, "Tell us your secret; how are you flourishing in every area of your life?!" Many people attribute the remarkable progress of RCCG to my academic background; however, they are unaware that we are reaping the benefits of the founder's covenant with God. God called the founder of the church, Pa Josiah Akindayomi, a man who never attended school, and told him that if he could meet certain conditions, He would establish a church through him that would spread around the world. God helped Pa Akindayomi, and before his death, he fulfilled all the conditions that God gave him. Today, the RCCG is present in over 195 nations worldwide. The church is where it is today because of God's covenant with my Father in the Lord. God cannot be mocked. Anyone who obeys the terms of His covenant will reap its gains. In today's memory verse, Moses told the Israelites that if they kept God's commandments, they would prosper in all that they did. Prosperity is a major gain that those who keep God's covenant will enjoy. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all enjoyed abundant prosperity as a result of God's covenant with Abraham. Father Abraham was described as a man who was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1), Isaac was described as being very great (Genesis 26:13), and Jacob was described as a prosperous man (Genesis 30:43). Beloved, God has given His children all things to enjoy richly (1 Timothy 6:17). However, you must fulfil the terms and conditions of God's covenant with His children to truly enjoy prosperity in all areas of your life. ❤️HOW TO KNOW GOD'S WILL FOR IMPORTANT DECISIONS IN YOUR LIFE. Part 6 of 6. How God Makes Known His Will for Specific Decisions and Needs. Continued. In both instances, what we experience by-passes the mind or intellect. Both the witness within our spirits, and the inner voice of the Holy Spirit may at times go contrary to our personal feelings and emotions" regarding some matter but we will know, nevertheless, what God's will is concerning the situation and what we should do. Feelings and emotions can deceive or confuse us if we rely entirely upon them, for this is the realm in which both Satan and the intellect reign; whereas the enlightened spirit of a Christian, and the voice of God's Spirit within will always guide us correctly if we will listen to them (Jn. 16:13) 1 Cor. 2:10-16; 1 Jn. 2:27). Of course, usually what we feel about a situation will be in harmony with what we are inwardly impressed to do, but it is not our feelings or emotions through which God's will is imparted to us. Inasmuch as God frequently desires to alert us to some spiritual or physical danger, prepare us with regarding some event that is about to occur, or inform us concerning His will about some present or future matter, then it is imperative that we become sensitive to the inner voice of the Spirit if we are to hear Him when He speaks. It is a real blessing to be so sensitive to the Spirit's voice that you know when you are moving in the will of God. Being yielded to the Spirit is the secret of being "fruitful in every good work." When we are fully yielded to Him, and sensitive to His voice, then we can always move with Him, fulfilling God's will, and we will not have to waste time planning and scheming, or running all over the place hoping that we are doing God's will and fulfilling His purpose. By Prophecy Occasionally God will inform us of His will regarding some matter, or concerning some problem about which we are praying, through prophecy or the ministry gift of the prophet. Generally, this will be a confirmation of what He has already been speaking inwardly to us about, and not the giving of guidance by prophecy as such. It cannot be overemphasized that it is God's purpose to lead the Christian inwardly by His Spirit or the inward witness (Rom. 8:14; 1 Cor. 2:14-16). Christians are not to seek guidance through prophecy or visions, inasmuch as some people have been misdirected or led astray, sometimes with serious consequences, on the basis of an alleged prophecy or revelation given to them by some overzealous individual who felt that he (or she) had an anointing to "prophesy" to them. In one case a minister who was sure that he had been led of the Spirit to leave a certain church to minister in another place was then prophesied to by a self-appointed prophetess and told that the Lord wanted him to return to the former church which he had recently left. This left him thoroughly confused as to what he was supposed to do, not knowing which of the two conflicting "revelations" was from the Lord. In two other instances, certain individuals who were seeking guidance were informed by overzealous Christians with an "anointing" that they were to move to a certain city and state as this was God's will for them. In neither case was the guidance from the Lord. Some Christians have actually been appointed to some office such as prophet, teacher, elder, or evangelist, and some Christian groups have been set in "divine order" by misguided individuals who interpret emotional feeling, spiritual enthusiasm, or actual delusion by Satan, as an anointing to prophesy. In other instances, a genuine anointing to speak in tongues or to minister the simple gift of prophecy to the church for "edification, and exhortation, and comfort" (1 Cor. 14:3) was misdirected to some particular individual and ended up as personal guidance coming forth from their own spirits instead of the Holy Spirit. In another instance, a woman "prophesied" to the leader of a group that it was time to discontinue teaching them, as God wanted them to begin to stand on their own feet without teaching. Shortly after his ministry was terminated, the leader of the group realized the mistake and contacted him three times wanting to know if he thought the prophecy had been genuine, inasmuch as it was obvious to all that they had not reached such a place of spiritual maturity where they no longer needed Biblical teaching. Christians should not seek guidance by prophecy or visions. We have reference here only to the attempt to seek or give guidance by means of personal prophecy or revelation through some over zealous individual, not to prophecy and visions in general which God does give to His Church for edification, exhortation, and comfort (1 Cor.14:3; Joel 2:28-29). Occasionally, God Himself chooses to speak to us through prophecy and vision in order to lead us, but in every case it will be in harmony with His Word, and it will authenticated by the fact that it is usually a confirmation of what the Spirit has already shown to us personally. Also, occasionally, prophecy becomes the means by which God leads us in order to fulfill His will about some important matter. By Scriptural Teaching; One of the most important channels through which God desires to speak to His people and reveal His will to them is one that few people recognize and appreciate as they should, and that is through the ministry of biblical teaching. Frequently, in a meeting people will come and ask for an appointment for spiritual counseling concerning some question or problem confronting them. Instead, they should first plan to attend all the teaching sessions, inasmuch as God has sent this ministry into their midst at this time to help solve such problems as this for which they feel they need counseling, and that He often gives the necessary guidance through the teaching. On several occasions people who have taken such advice have come afterward and stated that they no longer were in need of counseling as God had given them the answers they needed through the teaching ministry. Certainly God knows the various problems and needs of His people, and that it would be impossible for any one minister to deal with everyone individually who requests counseling and help. Therefore, through the teaching ministry He provides the solution for those who are willing to pay the cost of sacrificing some of their time and interest in other things to avail themselves of it. Sadly, there are some individuals who will not do this. They will insist that you give them individual attention and special time, as they believe that their problems are of such a nature to warrant it, but at the same time they will not avail themselves of the ministry God has sent into their midst to help them. It is useless to expect God to give you special guidance and revelation about some matter when you do not avail yourself of the biblical ministry that He is sending into your locality for precisely this purpose. Your problems and the decisions you must make are not really much different from those of most other Christians. It is only because they affect you personally that you think this. And even if your problems were unusually different, nevertheless, there are certain spiritual principles set forth in God's Word which can be brought forth through teaching which will show you how to deal with your situation and what your responsibility is with regard to it. We have found this to be true time and again. For example, some faith principle which can be applied for healing a disease can also be used to solve a financial or marital problem, if you know what it is and how to apply it. But one must be willing to avail himself of the teaching ministry and literature available in order to learn these truths, for "faith cometh by hearing the Word" (Rom. 10:17). For instance, such passages as Matthew 18:19, Mark 11:22-24; John 14:14; 1 John 5:14-15; Philippians 4:19, and Psalm 37:4 have almost limitless potential for fulfilling practically any need of every description when the believer knows how to apply them and accepts their validity for today. For the thousands who accept the responsibility of learning how to live and walk by faith themselves, they discover that they are able, not only to help themselves, but also liberate others from their problems and oppression. God desires for us to mature to the place where we do not constantly need to be ministered to, but can minister to others and their needs. Through Circumstances; Sometimes God confirms His will to us through circumstances, controlling or changing events in such a way that we are able to recognize His providential hand at work to fulfill His purpose in our lives. God informed Abraham that his descendants would spend 400 years in Egypt before He would bring them forth to inherit the Promised Land (Gen. 15). At the time God told him this, Abraham did not have a single descendant, for as yet Isaac had not been born. From this time, we see God beginning to bring His will for Israel to pass through the providential control of circumstances and events. Twenty-five years later Isaac is born by a miracle to Sarah, who is barren. His son Jacob in turn has twelve sons, one of whom is Joseph, his favorite. Because of envy his brothers sell him into slavery into Egypt, which begins a new phase of the fulfillment of God's plan to get Abraham's descendants into Egypt, a famine later compelling Jacob and all of his descendants to migrate there to live. After several years of hardship and adversity, Joseph had been miraculously elevated to a high position in Egypt by Pharaoh, a divine foresight to prepare the way for the Israelites. Thus, their arrival in Egypt was no accident, nor were they merely victims of circumstances, but we are clearly shown the providential control of God throughout, a fact which Joseph himself discerned (Gen. 50:20). The fulfillment of God's plan for our lives often depends, to some degree at least, upon our awareness of His providential working and controlling our daily affairs and experiences. As stated previously, God's plan for your life did not begin when you were born or when you were converted, but the Scriptures declare that the believer was chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world and called to fulfill His glorious plan and purpose (Rom. 8:28-30, Eph. 1:3-6), Moreover, God has often been working in the circumstances of your life for months or years before He reveals some aspect of His purpose to you. We are not to seek guidance by asking God to reveal His will to us through outward circumstances generally, but as we pray for His leading, usually He will impress upon us what course of action to take. Frequently, He will then confirm this inward leading through circumstances and events in our lives, which, if we are spiritually observant enough, can be discerned. CONCLUSION. We do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Col. 1:9) The Apostle prays. It is not sufficient just to have a knowledge of God's will, but as the quotation above indicates, we must also have spiritual wisdom and understanding to be able to apply it and profit from it. Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge correctly and effectively. Solomon knew God's will for his life - he was chosen to be the King of Israel. But he was also aware that if he was to succeed in this task and fulfill God's will as he should, then he would need more than mere human wisdom and the limited understanding man acquires through study and by experience so he prayed for the impartation of divine wisdom, discernment, and understanding. Thus, it is one thing to know God's will; it is another to have the wisdom and understanding to apply it. A man may know a very great deal, and yet not be a wise man. Occasionally, for example, we see a student who graduates from college with a high academic standing sometimes fail completely in some career or profession which he has chosen, simply because he lacks the wisdom to apply his knowledge in a practical way to his life. A wise Christian, therefore, is not just one who knows His Lord's will, but he is one who also understands how to use this knowledge in the proper place, in the proper way, and at the proper time. For instance, every believer knows, on the basis of Jesus' clear teaching in John 15, that the Christian is called to "bear fruit." But the mere possession of the knowledge of this fact does not impart to the believer the wisdom to accomplish it, for the churches are literally exhausting themselves in all manner of religious programs and activities in an effort to accomplish God's will in this regard, without any significant achievement. It is one thing for the Christian to know that he has been called to bear fruit, but only the Holy Spirit can reveal to him the understanding that it is not in doing, but in dying that we bear fruit (Jn. 12:24). Paul's prayer is that "you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding ... being fruitful in every good work" (Col. 1:9-10), revealing, thereby, that fruitfulness does not lie merely in knowing God's will, but also in possessing the spiritual wisdom and understanding to apply it. As was shown earlier, fruitfulness is not merely religious activity, such as serving in two or three offices in the church, visiting as many homes as possible in the community to invite people to church, giving out tracts, busyness with churchwork, attending all the services, reading the Bible through at least once a year, and so on. Fruitfulness does not come by religious commotion, but through crucifixion; not by doing, but by dying. God calls no one to work for Him, but to learn to move with Him. This truth is not something one can discern with reason or intellect, but comes as a result of the impartation of divine wisdom and understanding to those who ask for it, "For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding" (Prov. 2:6 ). Again, it is one thing to know that the believer is called to experience a measure of trials and tests of his faith (1 Pet. 2:19f; Jam. 1:2-4), but human wisdom will never help him to see the eternal purpose in those trials, nor enable him to respond in such a way that he will profit and not lose by such sufferings and testing. It requires divine wisdom and understanding to meet temptations, and to bear trials, so that such testing, instead of depressing and defeating the believer, will be able to accomplish God's will and purpose in his life. It requires divine understanding for him to see that Romans 8:28 is valid for him in time of trial and adversity, as well as in time of prosperity and blessing. Thus, when you seek a knowledge of God's will for your life, and for making decisions in important matters, also ask Him for wisdom and spiritual understanding to apply the knowledge He imparts to you, for the Scriptures tell us– Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Prov. 4:7). Are You an Intentional Christian? By Pastor Joseph Clark Life does not simply happen to us. At least, it should not. There are circumstances we cannot control. There are things that happen to us that we never anticipated, and there are seasons when we have little choice over what comes our way. But within all of that, God has given us something extraordinarily important: The freedom to choose how we will live before Him. We should never be content merely to hope that our faith is genuine. We are called to deliberately follow Christ, deliberately obey His Word, deliberately love others, deliberately serve, deliberately grow—and deliberately bear fruit. The Christian life is not a spectator sport. Let me be absolutely clear: we are not saved by our good works. The Bible teaches that salvation is by grace through faith, not something we earn through religious accomplishments or our own efforts. We cannot purchase forgiveness by doing enough good deeds. We cannot impress God into saving us. Paul writes: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works.” Ephesians 2:8–9 Amen. But sometimes Christians stop reading there. The very next verse says: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 Notice the order. We are not saved by good works. We are saved for good works. Works are not the root of our salvation; they are supposed to be the fruit of our salvation. That distinction is absolutely essential. A person does not become a Christian because he produces fruit. Rather, because he has been brought into Christ, his life should increasingly begin to produce fruit. I have observed that some Christians use the “by faith, not works” argument as a cop-out to justify a lazy, fruitless walk. Jesus Himself said: “By their fruit you will recognize them.” Matthew 7:16 He did not say, “Don’t worry about fruit because you believe.” He said: “Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.” Matthew 7:17 There is a dangerous misunderstanding that can sometimes enter Christian thinking. A person says, “I am saved by faith and not works.” That statement is true. But then he concludes, “Therefore, it doesn’t matter whether my life produces anything.” That conclusion is not biblical. James puts the matter bluntly: “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17 James isn’t teaching that we purchase salvation by our deeds. He is teaching that genuine faith is living faith. If I tell you that I have a fire burning in my house, but you enter the house and find no heat, no light, no flame, and no evidence whatsoever of fire, you would have good reason to question my claim. In the same way, if someone claims to belong to Christ but deliberately refuses to grow, refuses to obey, refuses to serve, refuses to love, refuses to forgive, and refuses to bear any spiritual fruit, we should not simply congratulate that person by saying, “Well, you’re saved by faith, so none of that matters.” Jesus never taught such complacency. Consider one of the most sobering statements Jesus ever made. In Matthew 7:21–23, Jesus describes people who will stand before Him on the day of judgment. They will say that they did things in His name. And Jesus will say: “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” Matthew 7:23 That should cause every professing Christian to pause. Jesus did not say, “You weren’t sincere enough.” He did not say, “You didn’t perform enough religious deeds.” He said, “I never knew you.” The issue is ultimately relationship with Christ. Likewise, Jesus gives a similar warning in the Parable of the Ten Virgins. Some of the virgins were complacent and unprepared for the bridegroom. When he arrived, they were shut out of the wedding feast. The warning is unmistakable: we must not live carelessly or presume upon the grace of God. A person can say the right things, use Christian vocabulary, attend church, perform religious activities, and even speak about Jesus—and yet not actually belong to Him. This is why we should never merely sit back and say, “I hope my faith is genuine.” We should examine our lives. We should pursue Christ. We should repent when we sin. We should seek holiness. We should love our neighbor. We should forgive. We should serve. We should pray. We should study God’s Word. We should proclaim the Gospel. We should bear fruit. Not because these things purchase our salvation—but because Christ has saved us and called us to live differently. Our fruitfulness should also be expressed through obedience to Christ’s Great Commission. Jesus said: “I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.” John 15:16 That is not passive language. Go. Bear fruit. Christ did not save us so that we could sit comfortably on the sidelines of Christianity. He called us into a life of purpose. Jesus also said: “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” John 15:8 There is that word again: fruit. Fruit is evidence of life. Wake Up and Bear Fruit Do you see what is happening in this fallen world today? Paganism. False religions. They are boldly, deliberately, and intentionally seeking to influence and claim the hearts and minds of people throughout the world. Our answer should be bold, fruitful evangelism! Wake up! Use your God-given gifts in any way you can to share His Gospel. An apple tree doesn’t produce apples in order to become an apple tree. It produces apples because it is an apple tree. Likewise, Christians don’t perform good works in order to become God’s children. We bear fruit because, through faith in Christ, God has made us His children. This brings us back to our central question: What are you going to do with the life God has given you? You cannot choose every circumstance. But you can choose whether you will trust God in those circumstances. You can choose whether you will forgive. You can choose whether you will serve. You can choose whether you will encourage someone who is discouraged. You can choose whether you will open your Bible. You can choose whether you will pray. You can choose whether you will share your faith. You can choose whether you will repent. You can choose whether you will obey Christ when obedience is difficult. You can choose whether your Christianity will be merely something you claim—or something you deliberately live. Paul told the Philippians: “Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12 Paul did not mean, “Work for your salvation.” He was writing to people who were already Christians. The meaning is that the salvation God has worked into your life should be worked out in the way you live. Your faith should become visible. Your character should change. Your priorities should change. Your relationships should change. Your choices should change. Your life should increasingly resemble the Christ you profess to follow. There is a difference between saying, “I hope I’m a faithful Christian,” and saying, “By the grace of God, I will deliberately seek to become a faithful Christian.” The first can become passive. The second is intentional. What Will You Do With What God Has Given You? Do you remember the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14–30? Are you the servant who was given one talent and buried it in the ground rather than using it? To that servant, the master said: “You wicked, lazy servant!” Matthew 25:26 The judgment concludes: “And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 25:30 Or are you the servant to whom the Lord will say: “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” Matthew 25:21 Let me pause and ask you right now: Is this message off-putting to you? Does this message offend you? If so, ask yourself: Why? Why does God’s Word—and a message consistent with His Word—bother you? And don’t misunderstand me: you cannot manufacture spiritual fruit through human strength. Jesus said: “Apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 Fruit comes from abiding in Christ. But abiding in Christ is not passive indifference. We choose to remain close to Him. We choose obedience. We choose repentance. We choose prayer. We choose service. We choose faithfulness. We choose to say yes when Christ calls. In the Parable of the Talents, one servant received one talent and buried it. He did not steal it. He did not destroy it. He simply did nothing with it. When the master returned, the servant had an excuse. But the master condemned him. Why? Because what had been entrusted to him was intended to be used. There is a warning here for Christians who have been given time, abilities, opportunities, spiritual gifts, knowledge, and resources but deliberately refuse to use them for God’s purposes. God did not give you your life merely to consume it. He gave you a life that can be offered back to Him. Jesus also told of a fig tree that was not producing fruit. The owner came looking for fruit and found none. The tree was occupying valuable ground, but it was not fulfilling the purpose for which it existed. That should make us think. What is your Christian life producing? Are people encouraged because you know Christ? Are people helped because you serve? Are people forgiven because you have learned to forgive? Are people hearing the Gospel because you are willing to speak? Are people seeing Christ in your conduct? Are you becoming more patient? More loving? More humble? More truthful? More generous? More courageous? More obedient? Has God given you talents or resources such as public influence, good oratory, conversational skills, a good computer, social media, or other online tools? Use them for Christ. Do you enjoy Christian podcasts, Christian articles, or Christian music? Share them online with others. Do you know someone who is in need or grieving? Be present to them. Let them know you are praying for them. Pray for them! Make a prayer list and pray daily. Pray for this fallen world. Reassure others of the coming of Christ. Use whatever God has entrusted to you to advance His Kingdom and proclaim His Gospel. What fruit is your life producing? You Don’t Have to Be Famous to Be Fruitful You don’t have to be famous to be fruitful. You don’t have to preach to thousands. You don’t have to write books. You don’t have to stand behind a pulpit. A mother raising her children in the faith can be fruitful. A man encouraging a discouraged neighbor can be fruitful. A Christian visiting the lonely can be fruitful. Someone praying faithfully for another person can be fruitful. A believer forgiving an enemy can be fruitful. A Christian refusing to participate in gossip can be fruitful. Someone quietly giving to help another person can be fruitful. Fruitfulness isn’t necessarily spectacular. Sometimes the greatest Christian fruit is produced quietly, where only God sees it. Jesus said: “Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:4 Your life will not be perfect. You will fail. You will sin. You will sometimes become discouraged. You will occasionally make terrible decisions. But don’t confuse failure with fruitlessness. A fruitful Christian is not a perfect Christian. A fruitful Christian is an obedient Christian who keeps turning toward Christ. When he falls, he gets back up. When he sins, he repents. When he fails, he seeks God’s grace. When he becomes discouraged, he keeps walking. When God opens a door, he walks through it. When Christ calls, he responds. That is deliberate Christianity. So don’t merely sit back and hope that your faith is genuine. Pursue Christ. Don’t use salvation by faith as an excuse for spiritual laziness. Bear fruit. Don’t try to earn God’s love through good works. Serve because you have already received His grace. Don’t live as though your life is something that merely happens to you. By the grace of God, choose to make it count. Jesus said: “By their fruit you will recognize them.” And He also said: “I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.” The Christian life is not about earning salvation. It is about living out the salvation you have received. So get up. Pray. Believe. Repent. Obey. Serve. Love. Forgive. Speak. Give. Go. Create content. Share content. Practice charity. Use your talents in any way you can to share the Kingdom of Christ and reach pagans, non-believers, and those who do not yet know Jesus Christ. Bear fruit. You have been given one life. Don’t merely wait to see what happens to it. With Christ, deliberately choose what you will do with it. And may your life bear fruit—not for your own glory, but for the glory of the One who saved you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. AMEN. AMEN. AMEN!

TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS. SERMON TOPIC: 5 THINGS EVERY CHRISTIAN MAN SHOULD NEVER COMPROMISE. A Christian man is not measured by how loud he speaks, how successful he becomes, how much money he makes, or how many people respect him. A Christian man is measured by what he refuses to compromise when nobody is watching. We live in a generation where compromise is often called wisdom, holiness is called extremism, and standing for truth is considered foolishness. But there are moments when a man must say: “I may lose the opportunity, but I will not lose my integrity. I may lose the money, but I will not lose my testimony. I may stand alone, but I will not deny my God.” Joseph was tempted, but he refused. Daniel was pressured, but he refused. Job was tested, but he held on. The question today is not, “What are you willing to gain?” The question is: “What are you unwilling to lose?” KEY TEXT Proverbs 4:23 — “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Your heart is the control center of your life. When the heart is compromised, character eventually follows. When character falls, destiny can be damaged. 1. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Matthew 6:33 — “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…” God must remain first. Not your career. Not your business. Not your relationship. Not your political connection. Not money. Not popularity. A Christian man who puts everything before God may gain the world but lose his spiritual direction. Biblical Example: Daniel Daniel was surrounded by a culture that wanted to reshape his identity. Yet Daniel 1:8 says: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…” Notice the phrase: “purposed in his heart.” Daniel decided before the pressure came. That is wisdom. Don't wait until temptation comes before deciding what you believe. Spiritual Insight Private convictions produce public strength. If your relationship with God is strong in private, you will have the courage to stand for Him in public. Practical Action Steps - Maintain a consistent prayer life. - Study God's Word daily. - Attend fellowship. - Make decisions according to biblical principles. - Never allow success to replace your devotion to God. 2. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR INTEGRITY Proverbs 10:9 — “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely…” Integrity means who you are when nobody is watching. A man may deceive people, but he cannot deceive God. Don't lie because the truth may cost you. Don't steal because others are doing it. Don't manipulate people because you have power. Don't falsify documents because you want quick success. Don't betray someone's trust for personal gain. Biblical Example: Joseph Joseph was in Egypt when Potiphar's wife tempted him. Nobody from his family was there. Nobody from his community was watching. Joseph could have said, “Nobody will know.” Instead, he said: “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9 Joseph understood something powerful: Sin is not primarily about who is watching you. It is about who you belong to. Spiritual Insight Your character is building your future even when nobody applauds you. Never sacrifice a permanent testimony for a temporary pleasure. 3. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR PURITY 1 Thessalonians 4:3 — “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification…” Sexual temptation is one of the areas where many men have destroyed marriages, ministries, businesses, reputations and destinies. A Christian man must understand that not every attractive opportunity is a divine opportunity. You need boundaries. You need discipline. You need accountability. You need the fear of God. Joseph's Example Joseph didn't negotiate with temptation. He didn't say: "Let me think about it." He ran. Genesis 39:12: “And he left his garment in her hand, and fled…” Sometimes the most spiritual thing a man can do is run away. Run from compromising relationships. Run from pornography. Run from secret affairs. Run from conversations that weaken your convictions. Run from environments designed to destroy your purity. Spiritual Insight You cannot repeatedly feed your flesh and expect your spirit to remain strong. What you watch affects what you desire. What you desire influences what you pursue. What you pursue eventually shapes your character. 4. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY A Christian man must learn to take responsibility. 1 Timothy 5:8 says: «“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith…”» Biblical manhood is not about domination. It is about responsibility, sacrifice, protection, leadership and service. A Christian man should not run away from responsibility. Be responsible with: - Your family - Your finances - Your words - Your spiritual life - Your work - Your commitments - Your children - Your calling Biblical Example: Joshua Joshua declared: “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15 Joshua didn't say, “As for me, whatever my family decides.” He took spiritual responsibility. Spiritual Insight Leadership begins with responsibility before it becomes authority. Don't demand to be respected as a leader while refusing to carry responsibility. 5. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR FAITH IN TIMES OF PRESSURE Anybody can praise God when everything is working. But what happens when the prayer has not yet been answered? What happens when business is struggling? What happens when people misunderstand you? What happens when your friends abandon you? What happens when obedience becomes expensive? That is when genuine faith is revealed. Job 13:15: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him…” Job lost much, but he refused to lose his faith. Biblical Example: The Three Hebrew Men Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were commanded to bow before Nebuchadnezzar's image. They refused. Daniel 3:17–18 shows their confidence: «“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… But if not… we will not serve thy gods.”» That is powerful faith. They were essentially saying: “Even if God does not answer the way we expect, we will still remain faithful.” Spiritual Insight Faith is not proven when God gives you what you want; faith is proven when you continue trusting Him when you don't understand what He is doing. REAL-LIFE LESSON Imagine a Christian man who receives a lucrative business opportunity. The money is excellent. But he discovers that the business requires him to falsify records and deceive customers. He has two choices: Profit with compromise or obedience with integrity. The world may tell him: "Everybody does it." But heaven asks: “Will you remain faithful?” Sometimes obedience will cost you money. Sometimes integrity will cost you opportunities. Sometimes holiness will make you unpopular. But remember: Anything you gain by compromising your relationship with God is too expensive. FIVE THINGS TO REMEMBER 1. Your relationship with God Never replace God with success. 2. Your integrity Never exchange character for temporary gain. 3. Your purity Never sacrifice holiness for temporary pleasure. 4. Your responsibility Never run away from what God has entrusted to you. 5. Your faith Never abandon God because the journey becomes difficult. PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS This week: 1. Examine your heart. Ask God to reveal areas of compromise. 2. Identify your greatest temptation. Don't pretend it doesn't exist. 3. Set boundaries. Remove people, places, habits or media that continually pull you away from God. 4. Strengthen your spiritual life. Pray, study Scripture and maintain fellowship. 5. Find a trustworthy spiritual accountability partner. 6. Make one difficult decision based on biblical conviction rather than convenience. 7. Teach the next generation by your example. QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION 1. What am I currently tempted to compromise? 2. Is God truly first in my life? 3. Who am I when nobody is watching? 4. Have I allowed money or success to weaken my convictions? 5. Are there relationships that are pulling me away from God? 6. Am I taking responsibility for what God has entrusted to me? 7. Would my private life agree with my public testimony? 8. If obedience costs me something, will I still obey God? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, give me the grace to remain faithful to You when nobody is watching. 2. Lord, strengthen my character and make me a man of integrity. 3. Every power pushing me toward compromise, be broken in Jesus' name. 4. Father, deliver me from every secret temptation that can destroy my testimony. 5. Give me strength to flee from every appearance of evil. 6. Lord, make me a responsible spiritual leader in my family and generation. 7. When pressure comes, give me the courage to stand for truth. 8. Father, let my private life and public testimony agree. 9. Give me grace to finish my Christian journey faithfully. 10. Lord Jesus, let my life become an altar that brings glory to Your name. CALL TO ACTION Christian man, the world does not need another man who can simply make money. It needs men who can be trusted. Men who can pray. Men who can stand for truth. Men who can keep their word. Men who can control their desires. Men who can protect their families. Men who can say NO when everyone else is saying YES. Men who will choose righteousness when compromise appears profitable. Men who will choose Christ when the world offers them another throne. Remember: Joseph refused compromise and preserved his destiny. Daniel refused compromise and maintained his influence. The three Hebrew men refused compromise and experienced God's presence in the fire. Your greatest victory may not be what you acquire. Your greatest victory may be what you refuse to surrender. So today, make a decision: “I will not compromise my God. I will not compromise my integrity. I will not compromise my purity. I will not compromise my responsibility. I will not compromise my faith.” Because a man who stands with God may stand alone for a moment, but he will never stand without God. Stand firm. Stay pure. Walk faithfully. Sadly, many youths today compromise their sanctification through exposure to immoral content, substance abuse, and other defiling influences. Unwanted pregnancies, abortions, and eloping marriages are rampant. These affect the Christian testimony adversely. God desires pure vessels for His glory. Are you trapped in such vices? For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me." - Romans 7:21-23 Many people find it difficult to pray because they are struggling. You want to pray, read the Bible and go to the church meeting. You want to obey God and follow Him. But it seems like a battle has started in you. It seems as if there is an inner struggle between the light and the darkness and you do not know what to do. You had such a need to do the abovementioned, but it is as if the evil one is whispering all kinds of wrong things to you. You got up in the morning with the best intentions but a few hours later they are all gone. The struggle between two natures There was a time when the great apostle Paul was also bothered by this: 'For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do — this I keep on doing' (Romans 7:19). There is a law of the flesh which pulls you down and a law of the Spirit which pulls you up. This means that there are still two natures working in your life. It means that the 'old man' has not died yet. It means that the process to Calvary has not yet taken place in you. The 'old man' is still too strong. This struggle must end in your life and Jesus wants to help you with that. You have to go from Romans 7 to Romans 8, which starts with: 'Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.' Only people who desire to live in this new and redeemed life of Romans 8 are able to be real intercessors and prayer warriors. On September 30, 2020, I saw in a vision of something I could not shake. A swarm of flaming locusts sweeping across the globe. Not cute. Violent swarm carried by the wind. Not symbolic in some shallow religious way. It was violent in purity. Ordered in movement. Terrifying in holiness. A living picture of a people seized by God and carried by wind. Then I heard the Lord say: “Even so must My people be. Prepare. Make ready. For there comes a final mighty wind of My Spirit to launch you as a flaming army.” I have carried that word for years. Quietly. Carefully. Soberly. Because not every vision is meant to be posted the moment it is seen. Some things must sit in the fear of the Lord long enough to burn the pride out of the messenger. And I am saying this now with trembling: I believe the time of preparation is narrowing. God is not raising up a casual people for a casual hour. He is not gathering performers. He is not anointing ambition. He is not breathing on religious noise. He is preparing a people who know how to wait until the wind comes. Because locusts do not move alone. They move in swarms. They move by timing. They move with a force greater than themselves. And when the wind takes them, what was hidden becomes unstoppable. That is what I believe the Spirit of God is doing in the earth. He is forming a flaming army in the secret place. Not famous people. Faithful people. Not polished people. Prepared people. Not people addicted to platforms. People who have been burned clean at the altar. This is not the hour for borrowed oil. This is not the hour for loud mouths and empty lamps. This is not the hour to jump because something looks exciting. This is the hour to discern the wind of God. To know when to wait. To know when to move. To know when to leap. Jeremiah 51:10–16 speaks of the Lord bringing forth His righteousness and calling His people to declare His work. Nahum 3:14–17 speaks of preparation, siege, fire, locusts, and scattering. There is a pattern here for those with ears to hear. Preparation before release. Fire before movement. Discernment before assignment. Formation before harvest. And hear me clearly: The darkness we are called to confront must first be burned out of us. Because an unpurified vessel cannot carry holy fire without turning it into strange fire. So I am praying this again. Lord, prepare us. Strip the laziness out of us. Burn the compromise out of us. Deliver us from spiritual performance. Teach us to discern what is You and what is only noise wearing Your language. Give us timing to jump so the wind can take us Give us obedience. Give us holy fire. Let the mighty wind of Your Spirit come upon a prepared people. Make us one body. One swarm. One flaming army. Not to be seen. To be sent. Not to make a name. To bear Your name. Not to destroy people. To destroy darkness. Not to consume souls with control. To gather souls into the harvest of Jesus Christ. This is not hype. This is warning. This is preparation. This is the sound before the wind. I’ve seen enough to stay awake. I love enough to warn. I fear God enough to speak. This is THE WATCH

Why is following God vital? We follow God and His servants that we might know His ways. The Scripture reminds us that, “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him and He will show the His covenant.” (Psalm 25:14). For this reason, “He made His ways known to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.” (Psalms 108:7). His servant teaches, “Then shall we know if we follow on to know the Lord: His going forth is prepared as the morning; He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and the former rain to the earth” (Hosea 6:3). When God comes to us in His glory, we manifest His greatness. Signs, wonders and miracles become the norm in our lives. The Scripture also teaches that, “That at the name of Jesus should bow of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father”(Philippians 2:10). Not only has God come to us in glory; now He in duels us in the Holy Spirit. And where God is, nature being creature is subject. To the bodies that the almighty God has made His temple, we read that, “God also bearing them witness both with signs and wonders and with diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost according to His own will”(Hebrews 2:4). Much of my book "The Seven Steps to Dominion with Christ Jesus" deals with issues of following the Lord God to dominion; but let us for a moment turn our attention on those He has put us under to take us forward – the leaders. True success comes from following the Lord God Almighty. But we can also follow God through His servants-the men and women He has walked with. Such great people are the mentors.

🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 227 DATE: 15TH AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: COME BACK TO THE FATHER ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:Psalm 103:3 (NLT) “He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Devotional message: One of the greatest revelations we can receive about the heart of God is that His mercy is greater than our failures. The Psalmist declares that the Lord forgives all our sins, reminding us that no matter how far we have wandered or how seriously we have fallen, there is still an invitation to return to God through genuine repentance. Perhaps you have drifted far from the Lord. Perhaps there are things you have done that you are ashamed of, or secret failures that have made you believe that God could never receive you again. But child of God, your sin is not a reason to remain in sin. It is a reason to return to the Father. God gives us a beautiful invitation through the prophet Isaiah:Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV)“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow.” Notice that God does not tell the sinner to clean himself before coming. He says, “Come.” Restoration begins when we respond to His invitation. The Apostle John gives us further assurance:1 John 1:9 (NKJV)“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God's forgiveness is not based on how deserving we feel. It is based on His faithfulness and the finished work of Christ. Therefore, do not allow shame and condemnation to keep you hidden from the One who desires to restore you. Consider the prodigal son. He believed that his failure had disqualified him from being a son and that perhaps the best he could become was a servant. Yet when he returned, his father ran to meet him, embraced him, clothed him, and restored him to his place. This is a picture of the heart of our Heavenly Father. The enemy may tell you, “You have gone too far.” God says, “Come back.”The enemy may tell you, “You are no longer worthy to be called His child.” The Father says, “Return to Me.”The enemy may tell you, “You must remain in your shame.” Christ offers forgiveness, cleansing, and restoration. Child of God, do not continue hiding in the same sin simply because you have already fallen. Do not allow one failure to become a lifestyle. Come back to the Lord. Confess your sin. Repent. Receive His forgiveness. Allow Him to cleanse you and begin again. When God forgives, He does not forgive you so that you can continue living in the same bondage; He forgives you so that you can rise and walk in freedom. As Jesus said:John 8:36 (NKJV)“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” Your past may explain where you have been, but it does not have to determine where you are going. There is restoration in the Father's house. PRAYER Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your unfailing mercy and abundant forgiveness. Thank You that my failures do not make You stop loving me. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: IS YOUR LIFE A STAGE OR AN ALTAR? Main Text: Romans 12:1 «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”» WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING WITH YOUR LIFE? Every day, we stand before an audience. People watch what we do. People listen to what we say. People observe our success, relationships, appearance, ministry and lifestyle. But there is an audience greater than humanity: God. The question is not simply, “What do people think about me?” The deeper question is: “What does God see when He looks at my life?” A stage is where people perform to be seen. An altar is where a person surrenders to God. On a stage, the question is: «“How do I look?”» At an altar, the question is: «“Lord, what do You want from me?”» Many people are living on a stage while believing they are standing at an altar. They pray publicly but disobey privately. They appear spiritual before people but live differently when nobody is watching. They want the applause of men but have lost the approval of God. Today, God is calling us from performance to surrender, from appearance to authenticity, and from the stage to the altar. 1. THE STAGE SEEKS APPLAUSE; THE ALTAR SEEKS GOD'S APPROVAL Jesus warned about religious performance. Matthew 6:1 «“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them.”» Jesus was not condemning good works. He was exposing the wrong motive. You can do the right thing for the wrong reason. You can preach because you want recognition. You can sing because you want applause. You can give because you want people to celebrate you. You can post Scripture because you want people to praise your spirituality. But God looks beyond the action and examines the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 «“Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”» The stage asks: “Who is watching?” The altar asks: “Is God pleased?” A person living at the altar does not need human applause to remain faithful. Spiritual insight: If your Christianity only works when people are watching, you may be performing rather than worshipping. 2. THE STAGE DISPLAYS TALENT; THE ALTAR REVEALS CHARACTER Talent can put you on a platform. Character determines whether you can remain there without destroying yourself. David had musical ability. David had courage. David had leadership ability. But before David stood before kings, he learned to stand before God in the wilderness. The altar develops what the stage cannot produce. The stage can reveal your gift. The altar reveals your heart. A person can be gifted and still lack character. A person can preach powerfully and live carelessly. A person can sing beautifully and still have an uncontrolled heart. A person can be celebrated publicly and be broken privately. That is why God is more interested in who you are becoming than merely what you are doing. Galatians 5:22–23 The fruit of the Spirit includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Notice that Scripture calls these fruit, not performance. Fruit grows from a life connected to God. Ask yourself: What happens to my character when nobody is watching? That question can reveal whether your life is a stage or an altar. 3. THE STAGE WANTS TO RECEIVE; THE ALTAR IS WILLING TO SURRENDER An altar is a place of sacrifice. Romans 12:1 says: «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”» God does not merely want your Sunday. He wants your Monday. He does not only want your voice in church. He wants your conversations at home. He does not only want your offering. He wants your heart. He does not only want your public ministry. He wants your private obedience. The stage says: “God, bless what I want to do.” The altar says: “God, I surrender what I want to do to Your will.” That is the difference. Jesus demonstrated this in Gethsemane. Luke 22:42 «“Not my will, but thine, be done.”» That is altar language. Sometimes the greatest worship you can give God is not a song. It is surrender. 4. THE STAGE CAN BE MAINTAINED BY APPEARANCE; THE ALTAR REQUIRES TRUTH A stage can be decorated. An altar cannot hide the condition of the sacrifice. God is calling His people back to authenticity. Psalm 51:6 «“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts…”» God wants truth in the hidden places. Who are you when the phone is off? Who are you when nobody is applauding? Who are you when you are angry? Who are you when you have money? Who are you when you have power? Who are you when temptation comes? Who are you when nobody can reward you? That is where character is tested. Christianity is not merely about looking holy. It is about becoming holy. 5. GOD DOES NOT WANT A PERFORMANCE; HE WANTS A LIVING SACRIFICE Romans 12:1 gives us the picture clearly: «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”» Notice the word living. The Christian life is not a one-time emotional experience. It is daily surrender. Every morning, we should be able to say: “Lord, my life belongs to You.” My plans belong to You. My career belongs to You. My relationships belong to You. My finances belong to You. My gifts belong to You. My body belongs to You. My future belongs to You. That is life on the altar. BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: SAUL AND DAVID Two men were anointed by God. Two men were given opportunities. But their responses to God were different. Saul became increasingly concerned about how he appeared before people. 1 Samuel 15:24 Saul admitted that he feared the people and obeyed their voice. David, despite his failures, repeatedly returned to God with a repentant heart. Psalm 51:10 «“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”» Saul was concerned about his image. David was concerned about his heart. One was more concerned about the stage. The other understood the altar. This does not mean David was perfect. He was not. It means that when confronted by God, David learned to return to Him. STAGE VS ALTAR THE STAGE| THE ALTAR Seeks applause| Seeks God's approval Focuses on appearance| Focuses on character Wants recognition| Wants obedience Performs before people| Surrenders before God Protects image| Pursues holiness Says “Look at me”| Says “Lord, use me” Lives for public approval| Lives for divine purpose PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS 1. Examine your motives Ask: “Why am I doing what I am doing?” 2. Build a private life with God Do not allow your public ministry to become larger than your private relationship with God. 3. Stop living for human applause People can praise you today and criticize you tomorrow. God's approval must become your anchor. 4. Repent where necessary If there are hidden areas of compromise, bring them before God. Do not protect what God is asking you to surrender. 5. Practice obedience when nobody is watching The secret place is where genuine Christianity is developed. 6. Make your whole life worship Your workplace can become worship. Your family life can become worship. Your business can become worship. Your ministry can become worship. Your private decisions can become worship. DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS 1. God is more interested in your heart than your platform. A bigger platform without a deeper heart can become dangerous. 2. Public success cannot compensate for private failure. You can impress thousands and still grieve God. 3. The altar comes before the platform. Before God uses a person publicly, He often works on that person privately. 4. Your greatest audience is God. People see moments. God sees the entire life. 5. The altar is where ambition dies and purpose is born. Sometimes God must remove our desire to be seen before He can trust us to be used. QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION 1. Am I living to please God or to impress people? 2. Who am I when nobody is watching? 3. Is my private life consistent with my public confession? 4. Am I more interested in being celebrated or being transformed? 5. What have I refused to surrender to God? 6. Have I allowed social media to become my stage? 7. Is my ministry flowing from intimacy with God or the desire for recognition? 8. If God removed the applause, would I still serve Him? 9. What area of my life needs to return to the altar? 10. Can God trust me with a greater platform? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer for a pure heart Father, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Let my private life please You. 2. Prayer against hypocrisy Lord, deliver me from every form of hypocrisy and spiritual performance. Let my public life agree with my private life. 3. Prayer for genuine surrender Father, I surrender my plans, ambitions, gifts, relationships and future to You. Have Your way in my life. 4. Prayer against the desire for human applause Lord, free me from the bondage of seeking human approval. Teach me to live for Your approval alone. 5. Prayer for character Holy Spirit, develop Christlike character in me. Let my character be greater than my platform. 6. Prayer for usefulness Lord, make my life an instrument in Your hands. Let everything You have placed in me bring glory to Your name. COME DOWN FROM THE STAGE. Perhaps the greatest question today is not: “How many people know me?” It is: “Does God know me?” Not: “How impressive is my life?” But: “How surrendered is my life?” The world says: “Build your platform.” God says: “Build your altar.” The world says: “Make people notice you.” God says: “Let your light shine so that people may glorify your Father.” The stage is temporary. The applause is temporary. Popularity is temporary. Titles are temporary. But what you do for God and who you become in Christ have eternal significance. So today, come down from the stage. Lay down the need to impress. Lay down the need to be celebrated. Lay down the hidden compromise. Lay down the pride. Lay down the fear of people's opinions. Lay down your plans. And say: «“Lord, here I am. My life is Yours.”» FINAL DECLARATION My life will not be a stage for human applause. My life will be an altar for God's glory. My gifts will serve His purpose. My character will reflect Christ. My private life will honor Him. My public life will glorify Him. And everything I am and everything I have will belong to Jesus. Amen.
