    TITLE: "FORGETTING THE PAST, PRESSING TOWARD THE PRIZE"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

    Philippians 3:13–14 (KJV) "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

    Hebrews 12:1–2 (KJV) "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

    "Do not let yesterday hold you back from what God has prepared for tomorrow."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

    Life is a journey, and every journey has a past, a present, and a future. Some people remain trapped by past failures, disappointments, regrets, or even past successes. But Paul teaches us an important principle in Philippians 3:13–14: keep moving forward.

    Paul says, "forgetting those things which are behind." This does not mean literally erasing the past from our memory. Rather, it means refusing to allow the past to control our present or determine our future. Past failures should teach us, not imprison us. Past successes should encourage us, not make us complacent.

    The phrase "reaching forth" speaks of stretching forward with determination. Paul was focused on what was before him. He understood that spiritual growth requires continual progress. The Christian life is not about becoming comfortable with yesterday's achievements; it is about continually pursuing God's purpose.

    Paul says, "I press toward the mark." To press means to pursue with determination despite difficulties. The mark is the goal or destination toward which he was moving. This teaches us that reaching God's purpose requires focus, perseverance, and discipline.

    Hebrews 12:1 uses the picture of a race. Runners cannot successfully complete a race while carrying unnecessary weights. Likewise, there are attitudes, habits, relationships, distractions, and sins that can slow our spiritual progress. We must be willing to lay them aside.

    The writer then gives us the secret of endurance: "Looking unto Jesus." Our eyes must remain fixed on Christ. People can disappoint us, circumstances can change, and our own strength can fail, but Jesus remains the author and finisher of our faith.

    Jesus Himself endured the cross because He focused on the joy that was set before Him. In the same way, we must look beyond temporary difficulties toward the eternal purpose God has prepared for us.

    Today, do not allow yesterday's failure to cancel tomorrow's opportunity. Learn from the past, release what must be released, remove every unnecessary weight, and keep your eyes on Jesus.

    The race is not over. Keep running. Keep believing. Keep pressing forward.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)

    Isaiah 43:18–19 (KJV) "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

    1 Corinthians 9:24 (KJV) "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. The past should be a lesson, not a prison.

    2. Spiritual progress requires letting go of unnecessary weights.

    3. God's purpose requires determination and perseverance.

    4. We must keep our eyes on Jesus rather than becoming distracted by circumstances.

    5. The Christian journey is a race that requires patience and endurance.

    6. There is a God-given prize ahead for those who faithfully continue.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

    Release one past burden, remove one distraction, and take one purposeful step toward God's will today.

    PRAYER

    Heavenly Father, help me release the past and press forward with faith. Remove every weight that slows me down and keep my eyes fixed on Jesus until I fulfil Your purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    DECLARATION

    I will not be controlled by my past. I press forward toward God's purpose and keep my eyes on Jesus. Every weight is removed, my faith is strengthened, and I will finish my race faithfully and receive the prize in Christ Jesus. Amen.

  • FOOLISH JEWS
    The Jews are foolishly being deceived by themselves and the Devil to run with the old agreement or old covenant patterns that have been fulfilled in the personality of the Messiah that came and they failed to realize it which was why they were dispersed and trampled upon all over the world(Luke 21:20 - 24,20:16,17,18,19,Mark 13:2)
    God's ultimate plan is for the universal church on earth to have a unified worship in Israel but the reality is that the Jews are still foolish fools who read the scriptures without understanding which was why God called them DENSE(Matthew 23) for they have eyes to see but do not see and have ears to hear but do not hear. They are blind guards. The Holy Scriptures in Isaiah 55:5 says,"You shall call a nation you do not know and nations who do not know you shall run to you because of the LORD your YHWH for HE has glorified you(God coming as human in flesh to bestow all what it takes) and verse 3/4 says," Incline your ears and come to ME(Leaving the old covenant and modernizing and upgrading).Hear, and your soul shall live; and I (YHWH) will make an everlasting covenant (New Covenant that is only on Christ the Messiah alone and no other) the sure mercies of David (Matthew 2:1-6, check chapter 1 on genealogy) with you which is the sure mercies of David(which is the plan from of old because even David could not keep the laws but walked in fleshly lusts and sin).I Indeed I(YHWH) have given HIM (CHRIST or Yahshua)as a witness to the people.A leader and commander for the people". The truth was that Christ prophesied about the dispersions, pulling down of Jerusalem and coming back plus the failures and the successes if the truth is realized that God cannot go back to the old method to give the Jews power and protection but only gathering and taking care of the universal church rather than Rome,the Idolatrous. Yahshuanisim is the only survival for the Jews as most of the talks of Jesus Christ are prophecies of that time and present but they thought that HE was raving mad but part of those words have come to pass. The curses declared by the Master are prophecies and every word HE uttered were fullfiled. Some thought that HIS curses,for example to that woman HE called a dog shouldn't be, but that woman knew so to be true, for she was truly a dog(metaphorically and spiritually Matt 15:25,27).
    Jews think that the way they want and go is the way God wanted them to go without realizing that they should have been the Body that gathers all diverse believers of non denominational believers for the Time for all in Christ the Messiah which was why a space was provided in the old pattern or old covenant temple for gentiles and when Jews realize this then that's when a new wave of universal outbreak in Yahshanism will expand. Jerusalem or Israel should be a kingdom like America but unlike it in impurity meant to gather Yahshuans (believers in the Messiah Yah is My Ishua(Yahshua, Immanuel, Jesus Christ, Yeshua or whatever the name of the Son of Man is called) from all over the world together, which is the Rome of our Time or of the current time.

  • Hearken unto thy father that begat that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old. -- Proverbs 23.22

    Honor your parents. Your life depends on it. Parents will weaken with age, but you still should honor them. God ordained parents, and He handpicked yours. He generously reward those who honor parents, but He will destroy rebels.

    God planned for children to arrive in life helpless, so they do. He also planned they would grow to successful maturity under the affectionate care, instruction, and rule of parents. But this wise family relationship also depends on children honoring their parents.

    God created the offices of father and mother, but He also chose the very persons who are your father and mother. When the great God brought you into existence, He did not ask you or your parents. He planned and executed a blind date for the three of you based on His perfect knowledge of all circumstances and possible outcomes of the arrangement. Humble yourself before your God-chosen parents. Obey them. Honor them. Love them.

    Proper growth and maturity to face life, the orderliness of society, and the peace of homes depend on honor to fathers. It is dangerous times when this basic standard is compromised.

    Daily life with a father for 20-30 years exposes you to his faults and weakness, which can lead to familiarity. But the God of heaven has a warning for you --I choose that man who brought you into existence, and I expect you to listen to him and obey him as you would Me. Do not let familiarity dull his honor, because I chose him as a god for your life. If you despise him, you despise Me.
    And I will not accept such scornful rebellion.

    The thing you should be content about is your father. God chose him.
    God chose his ability, education, wealth, intelligence, looks, personality, opportunities, successes, and failures for His own glory and your perfection. No other father would have worked as well for you. The eternal counsel of heaven connected you two, and any discontentment or disrespect from you is treason against the design of a benevolent and sovereign God.

    Hearken to your father. Listen to him, and obey his advice. He knows more about life than you can grasp, even if it were explained to you. He knows you better than you know yourself. He cares about you and your future more than you do. Your
    short-term of things is foolish and vain. His affection for you, his desire for your success, his sense of responsibility, and his experience and knowledge come together to form his advice. Save yourself a great deal of pain in life and judgment from God -- hearken unto your father.

    With age your father will lose his strength and wisdom, but he is still the one God chose to beget you. His declining abilities are no grounds for you to disrespect him.
    He might not have the power any longer to enforce his rule, but by this time you should be more conscious of his authority and right over you than ever before.
    Respect him in old age out of principle and thankfulness, rather than out of childish fear or habit or necessity.

    Your mother was introduced to you in the prime of her life. She was attractive, energetic, and intelligent. It was carrying you and bringing you up that dulled those traits. Her body gave you every nutrient for growth for nine months before you were born, and for nine months or more after you were born, and you cried for her after being born, as if you still needed and wanted that lifeline.

    She loved you and did more for you than ten wives could or would. She patiently adored, pampered, praised, and doted on you in ways a wife will not.
    She was a tirelessly servant in providing food, clothing, bedding, and countless other comforts for your existence, though you never gave her even a "thank-you" for years.
    She suffered through your infatuation with girlfriends, who combined and squared would never do as much for you.

    But as she gets older, taking care of you and then worrying about you, she will lose more strength and wit. She will fear things she once mocked. She will forget names, places, and how to do simple tasks. She spent herself caring for you, and now there is little time left. What will you do? Ignore her in her weakened condition, or give her greater glory and honor and care?

    If you hurt her in any way in her old age, the God of heaven will take retribution now and in the world to come. If you do not take fully take care of her in old age, then you have denied the religion of Jesus Christ and are worse than a pagan infidel, no matter
    what church you attend, or what Bible version you read.

    If you are a child, you have just read your duty. Let it be your great pleasure to attentively heed your father's advice, whether in his presence or on the other side of his grave.
    What should you do this very day to honor your aging mother? See to it quickly.
    If your parents are far away, you can call, text, email, mail or visit.
    If they are inaccessible, what about your in-laws? If you have honored your parents,
    what about any grandparents?

    If you are a Christian, you have another Father far greater than your earthly father, Almighty God Himself. He has done more for you than all natural fathers combined. You owe Him all the reverence and obedience you can possibly muster. You call on Him frequently, every time you need or want help, and He has never failed you a single time.

    "WHO GOD SAYS I AM"
    I AM PRECIOUS TO GOD
    Isaiah 43:4 (LLV) —
    “Because you are precious in My sight, honored, and I love you…”
    There are times
    when we wonder
    if we matter.
    We compare
    ourselves
    to others.
    We notice
    our weaknesses.
    We remember
    our failures.
    And quietly
    we ask,
    “Am I
    really
    valuable?”
    God answers
    that question
    with words
    that leave
    no room
    for doubt.
    “You are
    precious
    in My sight.”
    He does not say,
    “You will be
    precious
    when you succeed.”
    Or,
    “You will be
    precious
    when you stop
    making mistakes.”
    He simply says,
    “You are.”
    Our value
    does not come
    from what
    we accomplish.
    It does not come
    from the opinions
    of others.
    It does not rise
    or fall
    with our successes
    or our failures.
    Our value
    comes from
    the One
    who created us,
    redeemed us,
    and calls us
    His own.
    A jeweler
    recognizes
    the worth
    of a precious gem.
    Its value
    does not depend
    on whether
    others notice it.
    Its value
    is found
    in what it truly is.
    How much more
    does our Creator
    know
    the worth
    of those
    He has made?
    When God
    looks at you,
    He does not see
    someone
    to be discarded.
    He sees
    someone
    worth loving.
    Worth redeeming.
    Worth calling
    by name.
    You are
    precious
    because God
    says you are.
    And His Word
    is more trustworthy
    than every doubt
    our hearts
    may whisper.
    A new beginning begins by believing what God says about your worth instead of listening to the changing opinions of the world.
    Reflection: Whose voice has been shaping my sense of worth—God's voice, or the opinions of others?
    Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me precious in Your sight. When I am tempted to measure my worth by my achievements or by the opinions of others, remind me that my true value is found in You. Help me live each day with the quiet confidence that comes from knowing I am loved, honored, and precious because You have said it is so. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • QUAD-PALS: 002

    Nebuchadnezzar proved himself worthy of this appointment by forcefully advancing the nation’s territory. He practically transformed the military by introducing novel intelligent hierarchy and idealistic strategies to the Shinar Army.

    One of the new innovations was a list of 10 decrees made to be read out loud to the soldiers each morning. At first, the soldiers were critical of his far-fetched methodologies, but the numerous far-reaching successes that resulted from his mode of operation were rewarded by an unreserved vote of confidence from them to him.

    The new commander was not only brilliant and tactful, but also courageous, aggressive, and composed. He fought day and night, year in and year out, dethroning generals and rulers for the sake of his state.

    Prior to his era, the soldiers had been fighting with manageable morale. But his ever high spirit boosted the soldiers’ spirits, and this presented him before the soldiers, including seasoned senior officers who were once his trainers, as a worthy role model.

    As a matter of fact, every soldier and officer under his command willingly submitted their loyalty to him; he was indeed a king in the making. They now refer to him as a king even though his father, King Nebopolassar, was still on the throne.

    His father found no fault in this because everything had been working just as he had planned it. He knew he could have a long, sound sleep as long as his son was in charge.

    The past few months had been tough for him; he had been diagnosed with sibtu sa napisti, an ailment akin to tuberculosis, which had resulted from his carefree lifestyle even though it was believed to be caused by wicked spirits. Heaven knows that he was an addicted cannabis smoker, an unrepentant alcoholic and a hard drug patriot in the noon of his life.

    He had not sat on the throne seat for about five months in a row but had been confined to his bed with Ashpenaz sitting beside him to constantly offer him hopeful words, convey the king’s intentions and instructions while intimating him on the state of the nation.

    By the way, the king’s private room was built inside the palace, and only the king, the chief of staff, and the heir to the throne were allowed into this room; it was called the Eternal Portal. The room was supposed to be the bridge between the physical realm and the spiritual realm.

    It was one of the national monuments of Shinar; it had a spacious section where tombs were built for dead kings. Whenever a king’s ailment was tending towards death, he would be moved into a compartment of this room. If he survives the sickness, he will return to continue the kingdom business, but if he dies, he will be buried in the king's sepulcher.

    QUAD-PALS: 002 Nebuchadnezzar proved himself worthy of this appointment by forcefully advancing the nation’s territory. SERMON TOPIC:

    WALKING IN WISDOM EVERY DAY

    "Living a Life That Pleases God in Every Decision"

    Many people are intelligent, but not everyone is wise.
    Education can give knowledge. Experience can give skill. But only God gives true wisdom.
    We live in a world filled with confusion, deception, and countless voices competing for our attention. Every day we make decisions that shape our future, our families, our ministry, and our relationship with God.
    One wrong decision can bring years of regret. One wise decision can change generations.
    God is not only calling us to be believers; He is calling us to become people who walk in wisdom every single day.

    Key Bible Texts

    Proverbs 4:7
    > "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding."
    Explanation:
    God places wisdom above earthly possessions. Wisdom helps us know not only what is right but also when and how to do it.
    James 1:5
    > "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God..."
    Explanation:
    Wisdom is not earned by age alone. It is a gift from God to those who seek Him with humility.
    Ephesians 5:15–16
    > "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise."
    Explanation:
    Paul reminds believers that every day presents opportunities and dangers. Wisdom helps us redeem the time by living purposefully.
    1. Wisdom Begins with the Fear of God
    Proverbs 9:10
    > "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
    A wise person does not merely know about God; they honor Him.
    The fear of God means:
    Respecting His Word
    Obeying His commands
    Avoiding sin
    Living to please Him
    Without reverence for God, every other form of wisdom is incomplete.

    Spiritual Insight:

    The closer you walk with God, the wiser your decisions become.
    2. Wisdom Guides Every Decision

    Life is a series of choices.

    Whom will you marry? What career will you pursue? How will you spend your money? What friends will influence you?
    Wisdom asks:
    Is this God's will?
    Will this glorify Christ?
    What are the long-term consequences?
    Many problems come not because God failed us, but because we ignored His wisdom.
    Proverbs 3:5–6
    Trust in the Lord before trusting your own understanding.
    3. Wisdom Controls Our Words
    Proverbs 15:1
    > "A soft answer turneth away wrath..."
    One careless sentence can destroy years of friendship.
    Wise believers know:
    when to speak
    when to remain silent
    how to encourage
    how to correct in love
    Jesus Himself demonstrated wisdom in every conversation.
    Ask yourself before speaking:
    Is it true?
    Is it necessary?
    Is it loving?
    Is it the right time?
    4. Wisdom Chooses the Right Company
    Proverbs 13:20
    > "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise..."
    Your companions influence your character.
    The people you spend time with affect:
    your faith
    your habits
    your vision
    your destiny
    Choose friends who strengthen your walk with God rather than pull you away from Him.
    5. Wisdom Produces a Life That Honors God
    True wisdom is seen in daily living.
    It produces:
    humility
    patience
    integrity
    forgiveness
    generosity
    self-control
    People should see Christ in our choices, not only hear about Him in our words.
    A wise Christian becomes a light in a dark world.

    Biblical Case Study: Solomon

    (1 Kings 3)

    When God appeared to Solomon and offered him anything he desired, Solomon did not ask for wealth, long life, or victory over his enemies.
    He asked for wisdom to lead God's people.
    Because he valued wisdom first, God also gave him riches, honor, and influence.

    Lesson:
    When God's wisdom becomes your priority, He often entrusts you with other blessings in His perfect time.

    Real-Life Illustration

    Imagine two builders.
    One builds on solid rock. The other builds on loose sand.
    Both houses appear beautiful.
    When the storm comes, only the house built on the rock remains standing.
    Daily wisdom is like building on the rock. Every godly decision strengthens the foundation of your life. When trials come, wisdom helps you stand firm because your life is anchored in God's truth.

    Practical Action Steps

    1. Begin every day by praying for God's wisdom.
    2. Read and meditate on Scripture daily.
    3. Think before making important decisions.
    4. Seek counsel from mature believers.
    5. Avoid friendships and habits that weaken your faith.
    6. Let your words reflect the love and truth of Christ.
    7. Learn from both your successes and your mistakes.

    Deep Spiritual Insights

    Wisdom is not measured by age but by obedience to God.
    Every temptation is also an opportunity to choose wisdom.
    The Holy Spirit guides believers into wise living when we remain sensitive to His leading.
    God's wisdom often leads us in ways that differ from worldly thinking, but it always leads to life and peace.

    Questions for Reflection

    Do my daily decisions reflect God's wisdom?
    Am I seeking God's direction before making important choices?
    Are my words building others up or tearing them down?
    Who is influencing my spiritual life?
    What area of my life needs God's wisdom today?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1. Father, fill my heart with heavenly wisdom in Jesus' name.
    2. Lord, help me to fear You and walk in obedience every day.
    3. Give me wisdom to make decisions that honor You.
    4. Guard my mouth and let my words bring grace and healing.
    5. Remove every influence that leads me away from Your will.
    6. Holy Spirit, guide my steps and keep me from foolish choices.
    7. Let my life reflect the wisdom of Christ to everyone around me.
    8. Make me an example of godly wisdom in my home, church, workplace, and community.
    9. Let every decision I make today bring glory to Your name.
    10. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

    Call to Action

    Beloved, wisdom is not reserved for pastors, leaders, or the elderly. It is God's gift to every believer who seeks Him with a humble heart. Each day presents new decisions, and each decision is an opportunity to honor Christ.
    Choose to walk with God daily. Let His Word shape your mind, let His Spirit direct your steps, and let your life reflect the wisdom that comes from above. As you walk in God's wisdom every day, you will avoid many unnecessary sorrows, become a blessing to others, and leave a lasting legacy of faith.
    May the Lord grant you wisdom from above, establish your steps, and make your life a testimony of His grace and truth, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

    SERMON TOPIC:

    MESSAGE CONCERNING THE MONTH OF AUGUST

    Theme:

    "Step Into Your Appointed Season with Faith and Courage"

    A New Month Is More Than a Change of Calendar
    Beloved, today we stand at the doorway of a new month. August is not merely another page on the calendar—it is another opportunity given by God. Many began this year but are no longer alive to witness this moment. The fact that you are entering August is evidence that God is not finished with your life.
    Every new season carries new opportunities, new battles, new responsibilities, and new possibilities. The God who kept you through the previous months is able to carry you safely through this new one.
    Do not enter August with fear. Enter it with faith, because the God who controls time is already waiting for you in the days ahead.

    Key Bible Texts

    Isaiah 43:18–19

    > "Remember ye not the former things... Behold, I will do a new thing..."
    God specializes in new beginnings. He is able to open doors where none existed and make a way where there seemed to be no hope.
    Lamentations 3:22–23
    > "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed... They are new every morning."
    Our survival is not because we are stronger than others but because God's mercy has preserved us.
    Psalm 65:11
    > "Thou crownest the year with thy goodness..."

    God desires to surround every season of your life with His goodness and blessings.
    Philippians 3:13–14
    Paul reminds believers not to remain trapped by yesterday's failures or successes but to press toward God's calling.
    Point 1: Leave Yesterday Behind
    Many people enter a new month carrying the disappointments of the previous one.
    Leave behind bitterness.
    Leave behind fear.
    Leave behind regret.
    Leave behind unbelief.
    God cannot pour fresh wine into old wineskins.
    A new season requires a renewed mind.
    Point 2: Expect God to Do Something New
    God is never limited by your present situation.
    When Israel stood before the Red Sea, it looked impossible.
    When Lazarus had been dead for four days, everyone thought it was over.
    When Hannah had waited many years, people assumed she would remain barren.
    Yet God intervened.
    Your situation may appear impossible, but impossibility is the stage upon which God demonstrates His power.
    Point 3: Walk in Obedience Throughout August
    Blessings follow obedience.
    Many people pray for miracles but ignore God's instructions.
    Abraham obeyed.
    Noah obeyed.
    Peter obeyed.
    Their obedience positioned them for extraordinary blessings.
    If God directs you to forgive, forgive.
    If He directs you to serve, serve.
    If He directs you to give, give.
    Obedience unlocks divine favor.
    Point 4: Refuse Fear and Trust God's Presence
    Every new season comes with uncertainty.
    But God repeatedly says:
    > "Fear not."
    The future is unknown to us but fully known to God.
    He goes before you.
    He walks beside you.
    He remains behind you as your defender.
    Where God leads, He also provides.

    Biblical Story:

    Joshua Entering the Promised Land
    After Moses died, Joshua faced enormous responsibility.
    God spoke to him in Joshua 1:9:
    > "Be strong and of a good courage... for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

    Joshua entered a completely new season.
    The obstacles were real.
    The enemies were many.
    Yet God's presence guaranteed victory.
    Likewise, August may present challenges, but God's presence is greater than every obstacle.

    Practical Action Steps for August

    Begin the month with prayer and thanksgiving.
    Spend time reading God's Word every day.
    Make peace with people wherever possible.
    Set godly goals and pursue them diligently.
    Speak words of faith instead of fear.
    Remain faithful in your service to God.
    Trust God's timing even when answers seem delayed.

    Deep Spiritual Insights

    Every new month is a reminder that God's mercy has not expired.
    God's timing is always perfect.
    Delays do not cancel divine promises.
    Faith sees beyond visible circumstances.
    God often prepares us privately before promoting us publicly.
    The greatest miracle is not merely receiving blessings but growing closer to Christ through every season.

    Questions for Reflection

    1. What burdens from previous months do I need to surrender to God?
    2. Am I entering August with faith or with fear?
    3. Is there any area where God is calling me to greater obedience?
    4. What new opportunity might God be placing before me?
    5. How can I become more useful in God's Kingdom this month?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1. Father, thank You for preserving my life to see the month of August.
    2. Every blessing assigned to me this month, I receive it in Jesus' name.
    3. Every obstacle standing before my destiny, be removed by the power of God.
    4. Lord, direct my steps throughout this month.
    5. Give me wisdom to make godly decisions.
    6. Let every door You have opened remain open.
    7. Protect me and my family from evil and sudden calamity.
    8. Strengthen my faith to trust You in every circumstance.
    9. Let my spiritual life grow deeper this month.
    10. May August become a month of testimony, fruitfulness, divine favor, and peace, in Jesus' name.

    Call to Action

    As you enter the month of August, refuse to be controlled by fear or discouraged by the past. Walk confidently with God, remain faithful in prayer, diligent in your work, and steadfast in obedience. The Lord who has brought you this far is able to sustain you, strengthen you, and fulfill His purpose for your life.
    Go into August with this assurance:
    "The God who kept me yesterday will lead me today, and He will remain faithful tomorrow."
    May this month be marked by God's presence, divine guidance, spiritual growth, open doors, and testimonies that glorify the name of Jesus Christ.
    Happy and Blessed Month of August! Amen.

    "Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence]." — Psalm 105:4 (AMP)

    Life constantly competes for our attention. Responsibilities, worries, disappointments, and even successes can quietly pull our focus away from God. Yet Psalm 105:4 gives us a simple but life-changing invitation: seek the Lord, seek His strength, and seek His face continually.

    To seek the Lord means to pursue Him intentionally. It is more than asking for His help in difficult moments—it is choosing to know Him, trust Him, and walk with Him every day. God doesn't hide from those who sincerely seek Him. He delights in revealing His heart to His children.

    The verse also reminds us to seek His strength. We were never meant to carry life's burdens in our own power. God's strength sustains us when we feel weak, gives us courage when we are afraid, and fills us with peace when circumstances seem overwhelming.

    Finally, we are encouraged to seek His face continually. This speaks of a close, personal relationship. God desires more than occasional visits; He desires daily fellowship. His presence refreshes the weary soul, guides uncertain steps, and transforms us to become more like Christ.

    No matter where you are today, God's invitation remains open. Turn your heart toward Him. Spend time in His Word. Talk with Him in prayer. Worship Him in every season. As you continually seek His face, you will discover that His presence is your greatest treasure and His strength is always enough.

    Prayer:
    Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting me into Your presence. Help me to seek You above everything else. When I am weak, fill me with Your strength. Teach me to pursue You every day and to delight in Your presence. May my life reflect a heart that continually seeks Your face. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • Good Morning everyone in Lord's Jesus name Verse of the Day I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 Thoughts on Today's Verse...
    I've been told that the way to walk a tightrope is to keep one's eyes focused on the goal, never looking down at the ground or over one's shoulder at what lies behind. I know that is a pretty good way to live life — to keep our eyes focused on Jesus and his victory, which awaits us when he returns. We must not allow ourselves to look over our shoulder, focusing on our past successes or failures. Our goal must be to keep walking toward Jesus until we are transformed to be like him, and then walk with him into glory (Colossians 3:2-3; 1 John 3:1-3). My Prayer...
    Glorious and gracious Lord, I look forward to the day when you call me by name, as I see you face-to-face, and as you walk hand in hand with me in glory. Until that day, I ask the Holy Spirit to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and what you want me to do and become. By your grace and in the holy name of Jesus, I ask this. Amen.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    FRIDAY JULY 24, 2O26.
    "DON'T LOOSE YOUR COMPASSIONATE EDGE (2)"

    '…Faith…if it does not have works, is dead.’  James 2:17 NKJV

    MOTHER TERESA said, ‘The biggest disease today isn’t leprosy or cancer. It’s the feeling of being uncared for, unwanted—of being deserted and alone.’ As a result, she spent her life rescuing sick babies and giving dignity to the dying. Asked why she did it, she replied, ‘Because Jesus did.’ What a great answer! When simultaneous disasters hit different countries around the world, humanitarian organisations say we suffer from ‘donor fatigue’. Let’s add one more: ‘compassion failure.’ Philosopher Miguel de Unamuno wrote, ‘Warmth, warmth, more warmth! For we are dying of cold and not of darkness. It is not the night that kills, but the frost.’ Think about this: of the 1,189 chapters in the Bible, 250 contain the words of the prophets. That’s roughly 25 percent. Half of what they say denounces sin and the other half condemns those who see human suffering and do nothing about it. Yet events that horrified those same prophets take place in our world every day, and we’re immune to them. Like wearing a watch, you get used to it and after a while you don’t even notice it. But the prophets noticed! They never became desensitised to sin—or human suffering. And you mustn’t either. You say, ‘But my main focus at the moment is on building up my faith.’ That’s a good thing; but never forget that ‘Faith by itself, if it does not have works [of compassion], is dead.’

    FRIDAY 24TH JULY, 2026```

    *DON'T BE A COLLATERAL VICTIM* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```TEXT:JOSHUA 12:1-6```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east" (JOSHUA 12:1).*_

    *There are people who sleep walk into disaster, through either arrogance, pride or sheer hubris. It may be that they had recorded successes in previous battles, or have become famous for their accomplishments. They may deem themselves to be invincible, and either declare a war that's totally unnecessary, or inject themselves into other people's battles. In the end, they become the victims of their ego and exaggerated sense of power and importance.*

    *This is what happened to the kings of the nations on the east of River Jordan. The children of Israel were on a journey ordered by the Almighty God. They were heading to the land of Canaan, in fulfilment of the promise God made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Their land was not part of Canaan, and therefore, was not intended to be inherited by the Israelites. The inheritance of the Israelites was to be solely Canaan, the land flowing with milk and honey. But on their way, the Israelites encountered nations that had heard about the supernatural work of God in bringing them out of Egypt. Although the Israelites did not declare war against them, these nations, some out of unfounded fear of losing their territory, and others out of envy and hatred against this nation that had a God that can subdue, humble and defeat Egypt, the great world power of the time, took it on themselves to stop Israel from progressing towards their land of promise. One of such kings was Sihon, king of the Amorites, whose nation was mainly a lush vegetation sandwiched by rivers and plain land that was a haven for pastoralists and for other forms of agriculture. The other king was Og, king of Bashan, a land of the remnants of the giants, with similar topography as the land of the Amorites. When they rose against the Israelites, they were roundly defeated, their kingdoms destroyed and their land confiscated by Moses. He subsequently allocated the land to two and half tribes of Israel, which desired to settle there because it was suitable for their vocation as pastoralists. Had those nations stayed out of the way of the Israelites, they would have remained in their land.*

    *We must be wise and not take on battles that are not ours, whether out of sympathy with other people or to prove that we are powerful. As believers, we have more than enough battles against principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places, against sin and Satan. The armour Christ has given us is intended to defeat these adversaries. It is not to be wasted on self-imposed battles that do not benefit the kingdom of God. Those who engage in the wrong battles suffer great loss, and live to regret it for the rest of their lives. Let us focus on the assignment Christ has given us, namely, taking the gospel to the world of sinners, and endeavouring to bring as many as are willing, into the kingdom of God.*

    *God provides the means of drawing from His life for energy. Still, instead of utilizing the provision, they resort to the use of hard drugs and destructive substances for strength and vitality.*

    *Our passage for today unveils simple steps for young people to enjoy God's divine freshness. One, they must abstain from the way, walk, and counsel of the wayward and wicked. Two, they should delight in, read and meditate daily on God's word.*

    *Three, they should appropriate the avalanche of God's blessings and prosperity through prayer and faith. Four, they should not meddle with the ungodly. *THE FOOL IN FULL* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🫸🏽🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```PSALM 53:1-6```
    ```Key Verse:``` _*"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good" (Psalm 53:1).*_

    An extract from _Merriam Webster_ dictionary goes thus: *"Something is said to be 'in full' when it has come to the highest or the fullest state of degree, when it is at the uttermost extent or when it is complete, especially in details, number, or duration."*

    The fool in full is the greatest fool that will ever live on earth. He breathes in the air made by God, cultivates the soil created by God, and eats out of the produce thereof, lives in the world God created and enjoys the gift of life given by God, to mention a few; and yet, turns around to say "there is no God."

    The fool deliberately denies the existence of God despite the many proofs of God's existence. He sees the sun, the moon, the stars, the seas and the uncountable creatures in it, but never pauses to ask: *"Who made the world?"* The things he sees tell him there is God, but in his heart, he refuses to give Him the glory.

    There is, however, another fool who accepts there is God but refuses to accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This category of fools claim they can worship the Living God the way they like. They corrupt the way of worshipping Him; worshipping idols, the work of their hands. The fool can never do what is good before God.

    *You should not be a fool. Believe in the only true God and in Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. Turn away from all corrupt and abominable thoughts and actions. Then you will be saved from the foolishness of this world.*

    ```rayer:``` _*Thank You Lord, for delivering me from the foolishness of unbelief.*_ 🏽
    *REHEARSAL OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS*
    *TEXT:* JOSHUA 12:1-6.
    1.Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
    2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
    3 And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
    4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
    5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
    6 Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
    *Timeless Truth:*_"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits"_ (Psalm 103:2).
    *INTRODUCTION*
    From creation, God has been engaged in doing great and new wonders. Some are penned down in the Bible while there are many more that have been experienced by individuals, families, communities and nations since creation of man. The fact that God is immutable guarantees that those miracles can be repeated and increased in greatness and number. One of the greatest ways to strengthen faith is to deliberately rehearse God's faithfulness and meditate on those past wonders of God. Throughout Scripture, God often instructed His people to remember His mighty acts so that they would trust Him for future victories. Israel's conquest of the Amorites under Sihon and the later record of those victories in Joshua remind us that God's past interventions are powerful testimonies of His unfailing covenant. Every believer should cultivate the habit of recalling God's goodness instead of dwelling on past fears or failures. As we recount His faithfulness, our confidence in His promises grows.
    *1.Arrogant Courting of Battles*
    Israel peacefully requested passage through the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, but Sihon arrogantly rejected the request and chose war instead (Numbers 21:21–25). It is the norm in military warfare that you don't fight those who come and prefer peace to war. The worst is to lead them as captives. Sihon had taken pride in defeating Moab and taking her possessions (Numbers 21:26-2). Their victory over Moab was celebrated as it became a song in the land. He was optimistic and emboldened that he could repeat the same feat against Israel. However, he was thoughtless and proud. His pride blinded him to the fact that he was fighting against God's covenant people. It is dangerous and risky to fight against the covenant people of God. The battle ended in complete defeat of Sihon because no human strength can prevail against God's purpose.
    b. Believers have the domineering power of Jesus Christ to crush every power of the adversaries. However, this is not a license for believers to arrogantly court and tempt the people of darkness to unnecessary warfare. When Herod wanted Jesus to perform some miracles for a show of power, Jesus declined because it was unnecessary (Luke 23:8). When Satan tempted Jesus to jump down from the mountain, Jesus also declined because it was an unnecessary show of power. Believers should avoid unnecessary boasting and fight in the name of the Lord that is borne out of arrogance or pride. Believers should never fear opposition, for God remains the Defender of those who trust Him. At the same time, we must guard against pride, remembering that arrogance always invites destruction.
    *Question*
    Am I trusting God's strength in life's battles, or am I relying on human confidence and pride?
    *2. Appreciative Counting of Blessings*
    Joshua carefully recorded the kings and their land, whom God had delivered into Israel's hands (Joshua 12:1–5). These verses are more than historical records—they are memorials of divine faithfulness. God's people are encouraged to remember every victory and every answered prayer. Gratitude protects the heart from discouragement and unbelief. When we regularly count our blessings, we discover that God's mercies greatly outweigh our trials. Thanksgiving also prepares us to receive greater blessings from the Lord. As the psalmist puts it, *"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits."* This will take a diligent and deliberate effort like Joshua did when he wrote down and recalled the good wonders of God to himself and to the whole Israel.
    *Question*
    How often do I deliberately remember and thank God for His past faithfulness in my life?
    *3. Additions to Covenant for the Beloved*
    a. The conquered territories were not part of the promised Canaan inheritance. But Sihon and Og lost their land through their pride and arrogance and those blessings were taken from them and added to the children of Israel (Joshua 12:6).
    After getting victory, Moses assigned the conquered territory to the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh as their inheritance. God's faithfulness extends beyond victory in battle to the fulfillment of His covenant promises.
    b. There are several cases where God took away the assigned blessing of the arrogant and added them to the portion of the godly. Reuben and Esau were supposed to have the double blessings of their first born, but they both lost them through carelessness and profanity. Their blessings were added to Judah and Jacob respectively. Jesus warned the Ephesian Church of loss of ministry if they didn't repent from the loss of their first love and the immoral practices of the Nicolaitans(Revelation 2:5). He also warned the Pastor of Philadelphia that if he was not watchful, his crown would be taken from him and be given or added to another person.
    *"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown"* (Revelation 3:11). Remember, King Saul lost his crown, which was supposed to be generational, to David. The same with Esau and none of them could get his back. Fight and be watchful to retain and enjoy all your blessings and inheritance assigned to you by God.
    *Question*
    Am I very watchful and prayerful in ensuring that my blessings and inheritance are not taken from me and transferred to another person?
    *Prayer Points*
    1.Heavenly Father, help me always remember and celebrate Your faithfulness in every season of my life .
    2.Lord, deliver me from every form of pride, boasting and unnecessary show of power and grant me victory over every battle confronting my faith .
    3.Give me a grateful heart that continually counts Your blessings instead of focusing on life's difficulties.
    4.Give Your children grace to be watchful and prayerful and don't allow anyone to take their assigned blessings and inheritance .
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. ⏤ Proverbs 16:9
    To pray is to let go and let God take over. ⏤ Philip Yancey
    O God, our Father, we, Your children, wait for Your blessing before we go out to the work and care of this new day. We thank You for the blessings You gave us in our sleep. You have renewed our strength and restored what yesterday’s toil took from us. We are strong this morning and ready for another day’s work because of the blessings You gave us in our sleep.
    We consecrate our lives to You for this new day. Take us and use us as You will. We don’t want to make our own plans, for we are too short-sighted and would only plan for present comfort or earthly success. We would rather have You reveal Your plan for our day. It may not be easy, but we know it is wiser and better than our way could ever be, for You see the end from the beginning, and You choose the best things for us. We lay our plans at Your feet and ask You to use them if they are the best, but if not, to set them aside so that Your plan for the day may work unhindered in us.
    We pray for our neighbors. Some of them are sick. Remember them and grant them healing and restoration. Send them Your comfort in their pain, and let them be richly blessed by the experiences they are going through. Some of our neighbors have gone through sorrows. Heal their broken hearts and give them comfort that will make them stronger to bear their grief, and help them find the blessings You have hidden in their sorrow.
    Receive us now into Your care for this day; bless us, keep us, and use us as You will. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
He breathes in the air made by God, cultivates the soil created by God, and eats out of the produce thereof, lives in the world God created and enjoys the gift of life given by God, to mention a few; and yet, turns around to say "there is no God." The fool deliberately denies the existence of God despite the many proofs of God's existence. He sees the sun, the moon, the stars, the seas and the uncountable creatures in it, but never pauses to ask: *"Who made the world?"* The things he sees tell him there is God, but in his heart, he refuses to give Him the glory. There is, however, another fool who accepts there is God but refuses to accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This category of fools claim they can worship the Living God the way they like. They corrupt the way of worshipping Him; worshipping idols, the work of their hands. The fool can never do what is good before God. *You should not be a fool. Believe in the only true God and in Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. Some are penned down in the Bible while there are many more that have been experienced by individuals, families, communities and nations since creation of man. The fact that God is immutable guarantees that those miracles can be repeated and increased in greatness and number. One of the greatest ways to strengthen faith is to deliberately rehearse God's faithfulness and meditate on those past wonders of God. Throughout Scripture, God often instructed His people to remember His mighty acts so that they would trust Him for future victories. Israel's conquest of the Amorites under Sihon and the later record of those victories in Joshua remind us that God's past interventions are powerful testimonies of His unfailing covenant. Every believer should cultivate the habit of recalling God's goodness instead of dwelling on past fears or failures. As we recount His faithfulness, our confidence in His promises grows. *1.Arrogant Courting of Battles* Israel peacefully requested passage through the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, but Sihon arrogantly rejected the request and chose war instead (Numbers 21:21–25). It is the norm in military warfare that you don't fight those who come and prefer peace to war. The worst is to lead them as captives. Sihon had taken pride in defeating Moab and taking her possessions (Numbers 21:26-2). Their victory over Moab was celebrated as it became a song in the land. He was optimistic and emboldened that he could repeat the same feat against Israel. However, he was thoughtless and proud. His pride blinded him to the fact that he was fighting against God's covenant people. It is dangerous and risky to fight against the covenant people of God. The battle ended in complete defeat of Sihon because no human strength can prevail against God's purpose. b. Believers have the domineering power of Jesus Christ to crush every power of the adversaries. However, this is not a license for believers to arrogantly court and tempt the people of darkness to unnecessary warfare. When Herod wanted Jesus to perform some miracles for a show of power, Jesus declined because it was unnecessary (Luke 23:8). When Satan tempted Jesus to jump down from the mountain, Jesus also declined because it was an unnecessary show of power. Believers should avoid unnecessary boasting and fight in the name of the Lord that is borne out of arrogance or pride. Believers should never fear opposition, for God remains the Defender of those who trust Him. At the same time, we must guard against pride, remembering that arrogance always invites destruction. *Question* Am I trusting God's strength in life's battles, or am I relying on human confidence and pride? *2. Appreciative Counting of Blessings* Joshua carefully recorded the kings and their land, whom God had delivered into Israel's hands (Joshua 12:1–5). These verses are more than historical records—they are memorials of divine faithfulness. God's people are encouraged to remember every victory and every answered prayer. Gratitude protects the heart from discouragement and unbelief. When we regularly count our blessings, we discover that God's mercies greatly outweigh our trials. Thanksgiving also prepares us to receive greater blessings from the Lord. As the psalmist puts it, *"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits."* This will take a diligent and deliberate effort like Joshua did when he wrote down and recalled the good wonders of God to himself and to the whole Israel. *Question* How often do I deliberately remember and thank God for His past faithfulness in my life? *3. Additions to Covenant for the Beloved* a. The conquered territories were not part of the promised Canaan inheritance. But Sihon and Og lost their land through their pride and arrogance and those blessings were taken from them and added to the children of Israel (Joshua 12:6). After getting victory, Moses assigned the conquered territory to the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh as their inheritance. God's faithfulness extends beyond victory in battle to the fulfillment of His covenant promises. b. There are several cases where God took away the assigned blessing of the arrogant and added them to the portion of the godly. Reuben and Esau were supposed to have the double blessings of their first born, but they both lost them through carelessness and profanity. Their blessings were added to Judah and Jacob respectively. Jesus warned the Ephesian Church of loss of ministry if they didn't repent from the loss of their first love and the immoral practices of the Nicolaitans(Revelation 2:5). He also warned the Pastor of Philadelphia that if he was not watchful, his crown would be taken from him and be given or added to another person. *"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown"* (Revelation 3:11). Remember, King Saul lost his crown, which was supposed to be generational, to David. The same with Esau and none of them could get his back. Fight and be watchful to retain and enjoy all your blessings and inheritance assigned to you by God. *Question* Am I very watchful and prayerful in ensuring that my blessings and inheritance are not taken from me and transferred to another person? *Prayer Points* 1.Heavenly Father, help me always remember and celebrate Your faithfulness in every season of my life 🙏. 2.Lord, deliver me from every form of pride, boasting and unnecessary show of power and grant me victory over every battle confronting my faith 🙏. 3.Give me a grateful heart that continually counts Your blessings instead of focusing on life's difficulties. 4.Give Your children grace to be watchful and prayerful and don't allow anyone to take their assigned blessings and inheritance 🙏. *HYMN:* Count Your Blessings *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 26-29. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. ⏤ Proverbs 16:9 To pray is to let go and let God take over. ⏤ Philip Yancey O God, our Father, we, Your children, wait for Your blessing before we go out to the work and care of this new day. We thank You for the blessings You gave us in our sleep. You have renewed our strength and restored what yesterday’s toil took from us. We are strong this morning and ready for another day’s work because of the blessings You gave us in our sleep. We consecrate our lives to You for this new day. Take us and use us as You will. We don’t want to make our own plans, for we are too short-sighted and would only plan for present comfort or earthly success. We would rather have You reveal Your plan for our day. It may not be easy, but we know it is wiser and better than our way could ever be, for You see the end from the beginning, and You choose the best things for us. We lay our plans at Your feet and ask You to use them if they are the best, but if not, to set them aside so that Your plan for the day may work unhindered in us. We pray for our neighbors. Some of them are sick. Remember them and grant them healing and restoration. Send them Your comfort in their pain, and let them be richly blessed by the experiences they are going through. Some of our neighbors have gone through sorrows. Heal their broken hearts and give them comfort that will make them stronger to bear their grief, and help them find the blessings You have hidden in their sorrow. Receive us now into Your care for this day; bless us, keep us, and use us as You will. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/19/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
