Jesus calls every thirsty soul to come to Him and receive the living water that only He can give. ✝️💧 There is a thirst in every human heart that money cannot satisfy, success cannot quench, relationships cannot completely fill, and worldly pleasures cannot permanently silence. Jesus stands as the answer to that deepest thirst. He does not merely offer us something to drink—He offers us Himself. ❤️‍🔥 🔥 THREE TRUTHS FROM JOHN 7 1️⃣ JESUS INVITES THE THIRSTY. 💧 «“If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” — John 7:37» Notice the words: “If any man.” The invitation is open to everyone. It does not matter how broken your past has been. It does not matter how far you have wandered. It does not matter how empty your heart feels. Jesus says: COME. Come with your weakness. Come with your questions. Come with your failures. Come with your burdens. Come with your thirst. The answer is found in Christ. 2️⃣ CHRIST IS THE SOURCE OF TRUE SATISFACTION. ❤️ The world constantly offers temporary solutions to spiritual hunger and thirst. It tells us to pursue possessions, pleasure, recognition and human approval. But everything the world offers eventually leaves us wanting more. Jesus offers something different. He gives living water—the life, presence and work of the Holy Spirit within the believer. When Christ becomes the centre of your life, you no longer have to depend on the world to define your worth or satisfy your soul. Jesus is enough. 🙏🏽 3️⃣ THE HOLY SPIRIT FLOWS THROUGH THE BELIEVER. 🔥💧 «“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” — John 7:38» Jesus does not intend for us to keep His life within ourselves. The living water is meant to flow. What God pours into you should become a blessing to others. Your testimony can encourage someone. Your prayers can strengthen someone. Your kindness can restore someone. Your witness can lead someone to Christ. A believer should not be a spiritual reservoir that only receives. We are called to become channels through which God's grace flows. ❤️‍🔥 🌿 TODAY'S REFLECTION What are you truly thirsty for? Are you thirsty for God—or are you constantly trying to satisfy your heart with the things of this world? Jesus is still calling: “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” Do not run to the world when your soul is thirsty. Run to Jesus. When you are empty—come to Jesus. When you are discouraged—come to Jesus. When you are spiritually dry—come to Jesus. When you need direction—come to Jesus. When you need peace—come to Jesus. The world may offer temporary refreshment, but Christ gives living water. And when you have received His living water, allow it to flow through your life and touch others. 🙏🏽 PRAYER Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving us Jesus Christ, the source of living water. Thank You that through Him we can receive true spiritual life and satisfaction. Lord Jesus, I come to You today with every thirst, every burden and every emptiness in my heart. Fill me with Your presence. Let the Holy Spirit refresh my soul and strengthen my faith. Remove every desire that has taken Your place in my heart. Teach me to seek You above everything else. Let the living water within me flow into my family, my relationships, my church, my workplace and everyone I encounter. Make my life a vessel through which Your love, grace and truth can reach others. May I never try to satisfy my soul with what can only leave me empty. Jesus, You are enough for me. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: 5 THINGS EVERY CHRISTIAN WOMAN SHOULD NEVER COMPROMISE. Key Scripture: Proverbs 31:30 «“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”» A Christian woman is not called to fit into the world; she is called to shine in the world without becoming part of its darkness. There will be pressure to compromise your convictions for a relationship, a job, money, acceptance, fashion, popularity, or social media approval. But remember this: What you compromise to gain today may become the very thing that destroys your testimony tomorrow. You can lose money and recover it. You can lose an opportunity and find another. You can lose popularity and still be fulfilled. But when you lose your character, convictions, and fellowship with God, the cost can be far greater. A godly woman must learn to say: “I would rather disappoint people than disappoint God.” 1. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Matthew 6:33 «“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”» Before you are a wife, mother, professional, entrepreneur, student, minister, or friend, you are first a woman created by God. Your relationship with God must not become secondary because life becomes busy. Do not abandon prayer because you have entered a relationship. Do not abandon the Word because you have become successful. Do not stop attending fellowship because you have become comfortable. Do not allow a relationship to replace your relationship with Christ. Deep Spiritual Insight Anything that takes God's rightful place in your heart eventually becomes an idol. A Christian woman must be able to say: “God is not part of my life; God is the foundation of my life.” Practical Action - Maintain a consistent prayer life. - Study God's Word. - Fellowship with other believers. - Guard your spiritual environment. - Put God first in your decisions. 2. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR PURITY AND CHARACTER 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 «“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification…”» The world may tell you that purity is outdated. It is not. Holiness is not old-fashioned. Holiness is still God's standard. Your body is not merely an instrument for attracting attention. It is a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Paul reminds believers that their bodies belong to God. Therefore, do not allow desperation for marriage, money, attention, or acceptance to push you into sexual immorality or compromising situations. A woman of God must understand: Your value is not determined by who desires you. Your value is determined by the God who created you. Biblical Example: Joseph and Potiphar's Wife Joseph was tempted privately when nobody appeared to be watching. But Joseph said: «“How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9» Notice what Joseph considered most important. He did not say, “What will people say?” He said, “I cannot sin against God.” That must also be the conviction of every Christian woman. 3. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR IDENTITY AND GOD-GIVEN VALUE Psalm 139:14 «“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”» Social media can make women compare themselves with other women. One woman looks more beautiful. Another appears richer. Another has a successful marriage. Another has thousands of followers. Another seems to have everything together. But remember: Comparison can make you despise what God created. You don't have to become somebody else to become valuable. God created you intentionally. Your identity should not be built on: - Physical appearance - Relationship status - Wealth - Social media validation - People's opinions - Titles - Material possessions Your identity must be rooted in Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 You are part of a chosen generation and a royal priesthood. Therefore, don't sell your identity cheaply for acceptance. You are God's workmanship before you are anybody's girlfriend, wife, employee, friend, or follower. 4. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR VALUES FOR MONEY OR SUCCESS Proverbs 11:1 «“A false balance is abomination to the LORD…”» There is nothing wrong with wanting success. There is nothing wrong with building a business. There is nothing wrong with becoming financially independent. But success without integrity is failure wearing expensive clothes. Never lie to make money. Never cheat to get ahead. Never sleep with someone to secure an opportunity. Never participate in corruption because “everybody is doing it.” Never allow financial pressure to destroy your principles. Biblical Example: The Virtuous Woman Proverbs 31:25 «“Strength and honour are her clothing…”» The woman described in Proverbs 31 was productive, hardworking, intelligent, business-minded, generous, and responsible. She was not weak. She was a woman of strength and honour. God does not require Christian women to be unsuccessful. He requires them to be faithful while pursuing success. 5. NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR PURPOSE AND GODLY INFLUENCE Esther 4:14 «“And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”» Esther was positioned in the palace for a purpose. Her position was not merely for comfort. It was an opportunity to influence history. Every Christian woman has influence somewhere. You may influence: - Your children - Your husband - Your workplace - Your church - Your community - Your generation - Your social media audience - Young people watching your life Never underestimate your influence. Titus 2:3-5 Older Christian women are instructed to teach and guide younger women. This means Christian women are not merely recipients of spiritual knowledge. They are also carriers and transmitters of godly wisdom. Your life is preaching something even when your mouth is closed. The question is: What is your life preaching? BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: HANNAH 1 Samuel 1:9-20 Hannah experienced deep emotional pain because she had no child. She was mocked and misunderstood. Yet she took her pain to God. She did not allow her disappointment to destroy her faith. She prayed. She waited. She trusted. And eventually, God answered her with Samuel. Lesson for Christian Women Your current situation is not necessarily your final chapter. You may be waiting for: - Marriage - Children - Financial breakthrough - Career advancement - Healing - Ministry growth - Restoration But don't compromise while waiting. Never exchange your destiny for temporary relief. Hannah waited before God, and her story changed. 5 QUESTIONS EVERY CHRISTIAN WOMAN SHOULD ASK HERSELF 1. What am I tempted to compromise because I desperately want something? 2. Has any relationship become more important to me than God? 3. Does my private life agree with my public Christian testimony? 4. Am I allowing society or social media to determine my value? 5. If Jesus examined my decisions today, would I be proud of them? PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS 1. Establish non-negotiable convictions. Decide beforehand what you will and will not compromise. 2. Choose relationships wisely. Anyone who constantly pushes you away from God is not helping your destiny. 3. Protect your private life. Character is revealed by what you do when nobody is watching. 4. Build your identity in Christ. Know God's Word concerning who you are. 5. Find godly women to learn from. Don't walk alone. Learn from mature Christian women who have walked with God through different seasons of life. POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, give me the grace to love You above everything else, in Jesus' name. 2. Lord, strengthen me to stand for righteousness when I am under pressure to compromise. 3. Father, protect my heart, mind, body, and destiny from ungodly influences. 4. Lord, deliver me from comparison, insecurity, and the need for human approval. 5. Father, give me wisdom to recognize relationships and opportunities that are not from You. 6. Lord, help me to pursue success without sacrificing my integrity. 7. Father, let my life become a godly example to the generation coming after me. 8. Lord, restore every woman who has fallen through compromise and give her the grace to rise again. CALL TO ACTION Dear woman of God, you don't have to compromise to be accepted. You don't have to compromise to get married. You don't have to compromise to become successful. You don't have to compromise to become beautiful. You don't have to compromise to become influential. You don't have to compromise to survive. God is able to bless you without destroying you. The world may tell you: “Everybody is doing it.” But you must say: “I am not everybody. I belong to Christ.” When everybody is bowing, stand. When everybody is compromising, stand. When everybody is pursuing popularity, pursue holiness. When everybody is choosing temporary pleasure, choose eternal purpose. Your beauty will fade. Your possessions will pass away. Your popularity may disappear. But a life that honours God will leave an eternal testimony. Final Declaration I will not compromise my faith. I will not compromise my purity. I will not compromise my identity. I will not compromise my integrity. I will not compromise my purpose. I am a woman of God. I belong to Christ. My life has purpose. My body is God's temple. My character is my treasure. My faith is my foundation. SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 (KJV) Heavenly Father, we come before You this Saturday morning with grateful hearts. Thank You for carrying us through another week. Through every early morning, long day, difficult assignment, unexpected problem, stressful moment, and responsibility we had to handle—You kept us. Lord, some of us made it through this week tired. Some faced pressure on the job, difficult conversations, deadlines, uncertainty, and situations that tested our patience. Yet here we are. We made it—not because everything was easy, but because Your grace was sufficient. Your Word declares, “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV) Father, thank You for employment and every provision You have placed in our hands. Thank You for giving us strength to work, wisdom to make decisions, patience to deal with people, and endurance when we wanted to quit. Thank You for every door You opened, every danger You prevented, and even the things You protected us from that we never saw. Now, Lord, as we enter this weekend, help us to release the weight of the week. Quiet our minds. Restore our bodies. Refresh our spirits. Give rest to those who are physically exhausted and peace to those whose minds are still carrying yesterday's responsibilities. We give You the unanswered questions. We give You the disappointments. We give You the things we could not fix. We refuse to carry into Saturday what You never intended us to carry alone. Bless our families and homes today. Protect our loved ones wherever they may go. Bring peace into every household, healing where there is sickness, restoration where relationships are strained, provision where finances are tight, and encouragement where someone has become weary. Lord, remember those who must still work today. Cover them on the highways and in the workplace. Give them strength, favor, wisdom, and protection. Let Your presence go before them and bring them safely home. And as we prepare for a new week, remind us that the same God who brought us through this week is already standing in our next one. We don't know everything Monday will bring, but we know Who holds Monday. Today we choose gratitude over complaining, peace over anxiety, faith over fear, and worship over worry. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: IS YOUR LIFE A STAGE OR AN ALTAR? Main Text: Romans 12:1 «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”» WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING WITH YOUR LIFE? Every day, we stand before an audience. People watch what we do. People listen to what we say. People observe our success, relationships, appearance, ministry and lifestyle. But there is an audience greater than humanity: God. The question is not simply, “What do people think about me?” The deeper question is: “What does God see when He looks at my life?” A stage is where people perform to be seen. An altar is where a person surrenders to God. On a stage, the question is: «“How do I look?”» At an altar, the question is: «“Lord, what do You want from me?”» Many people are living on a stage while believing they are standing at an altar. They pray publicly but disobey privately. They appear spiritual before people but live differently when nobody is watching. They want the applause of men but have lost the approval of God. Today, God is calling us from performance to surrender, from appearance to authenticity, and from the stage to the altar. 1. THE STAGE SEEKS APPLAUSE; THE ALTAR SEEKS GOD'S APPROVAL Jesus warned about religious performance. Matthew 6:1 «“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them.”» Jesus was not condemning good works. He was exposing the wrong motive. You can do the right thing for the wrong reason. You can preach because you want recognition. You can sing because you want applause. You can give because you want people to celebrate you. You can post Scripture because you want people to praise your spirituality. But God looks beyond the action and examines the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 «“Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”» The stage asks: “Who is watching?” The altar asks: “Is God pleased?” A person living at the altar does not need human applause to remain faithful. Spiritual insight: If your Christianity only works when people are watching, you may be performing rather than worshipping. 2. THE STAGE DISPLAYS TALENT; THE ALTAR REVEALS CHARACTER Talent can put you on a platform. Character determines whether you can remain there without destroying yourself. David had musical ability. David had courage. David had leadership ability. But before David stood before kings, he learned to stand before God in the wilderness. The altar develops what the stage cannot produce. The stage can reveal your gift. The altar reveals your heart. A person can be gifted and still lack character. A person can preach powerfully and live carelessly. A person can sing beautifully and still have an uncontrolled heart. A person can be celebrated publicly and be broken privately. That is why God is more interested in who you are becoming than merely what you are doing. Galatians 5:22–23 The fruit of the Spirit includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Notice that Scripture calls these fruit, not performance. Fruit grows from a life connected to God. Ask yourself: What happens to my character when nobody is watching? That question can reveal whether your life is a stage or an altar. 3. THE STAGE WANTS TO RECEIVE; THE ALTAR IS WILLING TO SURRENDER An altar is a place of sacrifice. Romans 12:1 says: «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”» God does not merely want your Sunday. He wants your Monday. He does not only want your voice in church. He wants your conversations at home. He does not only want your offering. He wants your heart. He does not only want your public ministry. He wants your private obedience. The stage says: “God, bless what I want to do.” The altar says: “God, I surrender what I want to do to Your will.” That is the difference. Jesus demonstrated this in Gethsemane. Luke 22:42 «“Not my will, but thine, be done.”» That is altar language. Sometimes the greatest worship you can give God is not a song. It is surrender. 4. THE STAGE CAN BE MAINTAINED BY APPEARANCE; THE ALTAR REQUIRES TRUTH A stage can be decorated. An altar cannot hide the condition of the sacrifice. God is calling His people back to authenticity. Psalm 51:6 «“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts…”» God wants truth in the hidden places. Who are you when the phone is off? Who are you when nobody is applauding? Who are you when you are angry? Who are you when you have money? Who are you when you have power? Who are you when temptation comes? Who are you when nobody can reward you? That is where character is tested. Christianity is not merely about looking holy. It is about becoming holy. 5. GOD DOES NOT WANT A PERFORMANCE; HE WANTS A LIVING SACRIFICE Romans 12:1 gives us the picture clearly: «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”» Notice the word living. The Christian life is not a one-time emotional experience. It is daily surrender. Every morning, we should be able to say: “Lord, my life belongs to You.” My plans belong to You. My career belongs to You. My relationships belong to You. My finances belong to You. My gifts belong to You. My body belongs to You. My future belongs to You. That is life on the altar. BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: SAUL AND DAVID Two men were anointed by God. Two men were given opportunities. But their responses to God were different. Saul became increasingly concerned about how he appeared before people. 1 Samuel 15:24 Saul admitted that he feared the people and obeyed their voice. David, despite his failures, repeatedly returned to God with a repentant heart. Psalm 51:10 «“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”» Saul was concerned about his image. David was concerned about his heart. One was more concerned about the stage. The other understood the altar. This does not mean David was perfect. He was not. It means that when confronted by God, David learned to return to Him. STAGE VS ALTAR THE STAGE| THE ALTAR Seeks applause| Seeks God's approval Focuses on appearance| Focuses on character Wants recognition| Wants obedience Performs before people| Surrenders before God Protects image| Pursues holiness Says “Look at me”| Says “Lord, use me” Lives for public approval| Lives for divine purpose PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS 1. Examine your motives Ask: “Why am I doing what I am doing?” 2. Build a private life with God Do not allow your public ministry to become larger than your private relationship with God. 3. Stop living for human applause People can praise you today and criticize you tomorrow. God's approval must become your anchor. 4. Repent where necessary If there are hidden areas of compromise, bring them before God. Do not protect what God is asking you to surrender. 5. Practice obedience when nobody is watching The secret place is where genuine Christianity is developed. 6. Make your whole life worship Your workplace can become worship. Your family life can become worship. Your business can become worship. Your ministry can become worship. Your private decisions can become worship. DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS 1. God is more interested in your heart than your platform. A bigger platform without a deeper heart can become dangerous. 2. Public success cannot compensate for private failure. You can impress thousands and still grieve God. 3. The altar comes before the platform. Before God uses a person publicly, He often works on that person privately. 4. Your greatest audience is God. People see moments. God sees the entire life. 5. The altar is where ambition dies and purpose is born. Sometimes God must remove our desire to be seen before He can trust us to be used. QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION 1. Am I living to please God or to impress people? 2. Who am I when nobody is watching? 3. Is my private life consistent with my public confession? 4. Am I more interested in being celebrated or being transformed? 5. What have I refused to surrender to God? 6. Have I allowed social media to become my stage? 7. Is my ministry flowing from intimacy with God or the desire for recognition? 8. If God removed the applause, would I still serve Him? 9. What area of my life needs to return to the altar? 10. Can God trust me with a greater platform? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer for a pure heart Father, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Let my private life please You. 2. Prayer against hypocrisy Lord, deliver me from every form of hypocrisy and spiritual performance. Let my public life agree with my private life. 3. Prayer for genuine surrender Father, I surrender my plans, ambitions, gifts, relationships and future to You. Have Your way in my life. 4. Prayer against the desire for human applause Lord, free me from the bondage of seeking human approval. Teach me to live for Your approval alone. 5. Prayer for character Holy Spirit, develop Christlike character in me. Let my character be greater than my platform. 6. Prayer for usefulness Lord, make my life an instrument in Your hands. Let everything You have placed in me bring glory to Your name. COME DOWN FROM THE STAGE. Perhaps the greatest question today is not: “How many people know me?” It is: “Does God know me?” Not: “How impressive is my life?” But: “How surrendered is my life?” The world says: “Build your platform.” God says: “Build your altar.” The world says: “Make people notice you.” God says: “Let your light shine so that people may glorify your Father.” The stage is temporary. The applause is temporary. Popularity is temporary. Titles are temporary. But what you do for God and who you become in Christ have eternal significance. So today, come down from the stage. Lay down the need to impress. Lay down the need to be celebrated. Lay down the hidden compromise. Lay down the pride. Lay down the fear of people's opinions. Lay down your plans. And say: «“Lord, here I am. My life is Yours.”» FINAL DECLARATION My life will not be a stage for human applause. My life will be an altar for God's glory. My gifts will serve His purpose. My character will reflect Christ. My private life will honor Him. My public life will glorify Him. And everything I am and everything I have will belong to Jesus. Amen. In today's text, Paul encouraged Timothy to stand out by being an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. He must accompany these qualities with sound doctrine and diligently live it out, for his salvation and that of others. These virtues should be lived out without compromise, regardless of one's age. Every believer, young or old, is called to live in a way that reflects Christ and inspires others to follow. Sadly, many young people today are influenced by vices, but Christians are urged to lead lives that model godly character. How is your testimony in your home, community, workplace, and church? On it you shall not do any work." - Exodus 20:8-10 The commandment to keep the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments, so a commandment from the Lord God. The reason I am talking about this is because we live in an incredibly hectic time. Life is so much different compared to fifty years ago. Everything is to be done quickly and in a hurry. This is also because of the increase in science (see Daniel 12: 4). People no longer have peace in today's society. There is also a lack of rest time in the lives of many Christians. A gift from God However, God has given us a day to rest. Exodus 16:29 states: 'The Lord has given you the Sabbath.' The Sabbath is a gift from God and has a holy purpose. Sabbath means to rest, to stop. Every now and then people have to rest from what they are doing. Otherwise you will overwork yourself and get a burnout. When God created heaven and earth, He rested. As His creation was not safe yet, God had a plan to secure His creation. God was able to rest only after Jesus had completed His work on Calvary and rose from the death on the first day of the week. This is why we Christians celebrate the Sabbath day on Sunday. Spiritual rest There is something even more important though and that is our spiritual rest. In Hebrews 4:10 we read about a Sabbath rest for God's people: 'Anyone who enters God's rest also rests from their works, just as God did from His.'When you come to Jesus, you will get complete rest in spirit, soul and body. Every day is a Sabbath day for the Christian who is in Jesus Christ. Let Your Faith Serve Others (Galatians 5:13) Faith is not only about what we believe. It is also about how we live. It is easy to talk about loving people. But Jesus calls us to show that love through our actions. The Bible says: “Serve one another humbly in love.” That means your faith should make a difference in the lives of the people around you. Sometimes we imagine that serving God requires something big. A microphone. A church position. A large platform. Thousands of followers. But service often begins with something much smaller. Helping someone who is struggling. Listening to a friend who needs someone to talk to. Encouraging someone who feels discouraged. Sharing what you have with someone in need. Visiting someone who feels forgotten. Praying for someone going through a difficult season. Giving your time when you could have chosen convenience. Choosing kindness when nobody is watching. These things may seem ordinary, but God can use ordinary acts of love to make an extraordinary difference. Jesus Himself demonstrated this kind of servant leadership. He didn't simply tell people to love. He showed them what love looks like. He welcomed the overlooked. He touched the hurting. He fed the hungry. He listened to people. He forgave. And ultimately, He gave His life for us. If we claim to follow Jesus, His example should influence the way we treat others. Your workplace can become a place where you serve. Your school can become a place where you encourage. Your home can become a place where you show patience. Your community can become a place where you demonstrate compassion. Even your social media presence can become a place where you spread hope instead of negativity. Don't underestimate the impact of one act of kindness. You may never know what someone is silently going through. A simple message could encourage them. A conversation could give them hope. A helping hand could remind them that they are not forgotten. And sometimes, your actions may create an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus. Serve first. Love sincerely. Point people to Christ. But remember something important: We don't serve others so that God will love us. We serve because He already loves us. Grace changes our hearts, and transformed hearts begin to reflect God's love. So today, look around you. Who needs encouragement? Who needs help? Who needs someone to listen? Who needs prayer? Don't wait for a perfect opportunity. Start with what you have. Start where you are. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 223 DATE: 11TH AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:2 CORINTHIANS 6:17 (NKJV) “Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.’” Devotional message God raises people within a generation to become instruments of transformation and deliverance. Therefore, we must arise and take our rightful place. But there is a condition: if you must become a deliverer, you cannot continue participating in the bondage from which you are called to deliver others. The Apostle Paul commands us, “Come out from among them and be separate.” This is a call to separation—not isolation from people, but separation from the sinful patterns, values, and practices that oppose God. Moses provides a powerful example. Although he had been raised in Pharaoh's household, there came a time when he refused to identify himself with the privileges and identity of Egypt. Hebrews 11:24–25 tells us that by faith Moses, when he had become of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin. Child of God, you cannot become a saviour while remaining a captive to the same darkness. You cannot effectively pull someone out of a pit while you are still sitting in the same pit. You cannot lead people into holiness while deliberately embracing immorality. You cannot preach freedom while remaining enslaved to sin. You cannot become light to a generation while continually participating in the works of darkness. Scripture says, “For you are a slave to whatever controls you.” (2 Peter 2:19). Whatever you continually submit yourself to can eventually gain mastery over you. Therefore, when others are complaining, do not automatically join them. When others are compromising, choose obedience. When others are engaging in immorality, choose purity. When others are embracing corruption, choose integrity. When others are walking in darkness, choose to walk in the light. This does not mean that we become self-righteous or condemn those who are struggling. Rather, it means that we position ourselves in Christ so that we can become instruments through whom God brings them out. Light does not overcome darkness by becoming dark. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14). The reason light is valuable in darkness is because it remains light. If the light becomes darkness, it loses its ability to illuminate. Child of God, your generation needs people who will be different. Your family needs someone who will break ungodly patterns. Your community needs someone who will choose righteousness. Your workplace needs someone who will uphold integrity. Your nation needs men and women who will refuse corruption and pursue justice. When a Christian goes to work each day, God holds them accountable for adding, enhancing and improving things in their workplace. Jesus told the story of three men who were each given money. One was given five bags of it, another two, and another one. The first two ‘…went and traded with them, and gained…’ (Matthew 25:16 NAS). They showed skill, initiative, and made 100 percent profit. So they were commended by their master. But the third man just punched the clock, called in sick, didn’t train, try, dare, or do. So his job review didn’t go too well. And Jesus said something that ought to make us all sit up and take notice: ‘To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.’ That means if your attitude and work ethic are poor, you’re in trouble with God. So, let’s stop and think about your job. If Jesus were your supervisor, would you do your work any differently? How would you answer the phone, type documents, treat your employees, or teach your pupils if Jesus were checking your work? As a citizen of God’s kingdom you need to periodically review your attitude on the job, solicit feedback on how you can grow, demonstrate love and grace to those you work with, make your company profitable, and enjoy the work you do. All these show man's deliberate responsibilities in order to keep the blessings of God for a long time . In 1948, a released christian newsletter during the time of revivalist Abraham Branham reads. “All the great outpourings of the past have had their outstanding truths. Luther’s truth was Justification by Faith. Wesley’s was Sanctification. The Baptists taught the premillennial coming of Christ. The Missionary Alliance taught Divine Healing. The Pentecostal outpouring has restored the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to its rightful place. But, the next great outpouring is going to be marked by all these other truths plus such a demonstration of the nine gifts of the Spirit as the world, not even the Apostolic world, has ever witnessed before. This revival will be short and will be the last before the Rapture of the Church.” The consolation and joy is that whatever great and wonderful experiences we have enjoyed in the past can still be restored by God if man does the needful. This is the message of Hosea to Israel and the godly. *1. Call to Return to God* a. Adam, representing the man of all ages, started with God, but departed from God and many woes followed. In order to vacate the woes, the message of God is simple, return to God. All the woes, challenges, calamities, anguish, backslidings and challenges of man have only one divine prescription: Return to God. Returning to God requires turning or change. Man is generally, reluctant to change. This is one of Newton's Laws of Motion. Willingness to turn is generally, where the problem of man lies. The turning to God requires acceptance of wrongs towards God, decisions with appropriate steps and asking God for forgiveness without self justification. It involves deliberate action of repentance. Repentance from what cause the loss of good old blessings, including repentance from sin, unforgiving spirit, bitterness against neighbours and perhaps God, love of the world, selective obedience to the command of God in any area etc., are just what God is looking for before He pours down His blessings afresh. God did not see that turning or repentance in Adam and Eve. Both of them were busy giving excuses and blaming each other. Neither fully admitted his/her obvious wrong and neither fully repented and returned to God. The repercussion was that they never got the blessing they lost back. They were driven from the beautiful, blessed and blissful garden. If they had returned to God with words of soberness and repentance, the story would have been different for them and the whole humanity. All lost blessings from God are only returned after turning and repentance from the root cause. b. The message of God is the same. *"Come, and let us return unto the LORD"*. Stop the blame game. Stop the murmuring and complain. The promise of God for the repentant is valid at all times and in all generations. *"For he hath torn, and he will heal us"*. When your garment of glory is torn, when your shining regalia of blessings is torn, when the source of your joy is torn, the immediate and uncompromisable demand of God and solution is to turn to God. *"He hath smitten, and he will bind us up"*. This is a word of assurance for those who take the courage to turn from their evil ways, carelessness and compromise. *Question* Assess your life where you have departed from God and your old consecration to God and His word. Are you willing to turn? Start today. *2. Comforting Revival Through Grace* a. Has Israel not gone too far to an irredeemable damnable and bitter experience? God, through Hosea says NO. When there is possibility and willingness to turn, the promise to restore and revive is always unbreakable. Jesus said, *"the scripture cannot be broken."* Hosea used the picture of Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus on the third day to show the reality and restoration of revival for dead bones. *"After two days will he revive us"*. After two days is the third day including all other days after the third day. It shows the beginning of revival on the third day and the continuity of revival after the third day. *"In the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight"*. The resurrection of Jesus Christ has assurably made possible the restoration of any dead soul and experiences even when it appears they are already stinking spiritually in the grave. b. The parable of dead bones in Ezekiel 37 shows that revival and restoration is possible when the Word of God is given a prominent and final say in the life of an individual, family, church or nation. All the revivals the Church has experienced in different ages at a time of total darkness were as a result of giving the Word of God the first and unquestionably place. The same applies to any individual that needs revival. Taking the Word of God at face values drives to repentance including burdened and persistent prayers. Once this is done, the rain will definitely fall and there will be repentance and restoration. *Question* Are you desirous of revival and restoration of past glories in your life? From the explanation above, what is your decision? *3. Continuous Refreshment unto Glory* a. Why blessings are lost and revival is gone is because of lack of continuity in the Old faith and consecration that brought the revival in the first place. Jesus said, *"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples in deed"*. Disciples in deeds are different from disciples in the mouth to profession. Continuity is the key. *"Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD"*. Continuous following leads to deeper knowledge and deeper knowledge is manifested by continuous following. *"His going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth"*. The former rain is to prepare the ground for planting while the latter rain is to prepare the crop for harvesting. It is the harvesting that is generally seen, but not the planting time of rigour and sacrifice. He that sows, though not seen by many should sow in hope because harvesting is certain. Rain of the Holy Spirit is needed to sow the seed of repentance, intercession and consecration while rain of the Holy Spirit is also needed to enjoy the harvest of refreshment, restoration and revival. Continuity in sowing the seed of the Word of God and wetting it with tears of prayers and acts of consecration will bring the abundant rain and there will be overflowing joy, revival and restoration again. *Question* Are you determined to continue getting deeper into the Word, prayer and consecration without giving up until the rain falls and there are blessings and visitations from heaven again? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord, open my eyes to areas that I need to turn to you afresh and make me willing to pay the price of turning 🙏. 2.Give me the rain of the Spirit that will help me to sow with tears and deeper consecration until the abundant rain falls on my soul, nation and church 🙏. 3.I ask for power and determination to continue seeking your face without giving up and backing out 🙏. 4.Father, send the rain and awaken your Church to true restoration and revival 🙏. *HYMN:* Come Holy Spirit. *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 9-12. 2. You were tempted in every way, just as we are, and understand what temptation is like. It comforts us to know that You understand our struggles and that we can rely on Your sympathy. Help us today, O Jesus, to overcome every temptation. Stand by us and do not let us fall into darkness in any moment of trial. We are also grateful that You know all about sorrow. You have experienced every depth of human pain. There is no sorrow unknown to You, no grief that You cannot understand. Life brings us sorrows, sometimes very deep ones. No human friend can fully understand them. Our loved ones want to help us but cannot take away our pain or give us true comfort. Earth has no sufficient consolation for us. So we turn to You, O Jesus, and ask for Your help in our sorrows. We want to bear them sweetly, without complaining. We want to receive the blessing that comes with every pain or suffering, a blessing that is often missed. Teach us how to suffer according to Your will. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 222 DATE: 10TH AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: ARISE AND TAKE YOUR PLACE ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: EXODUS 3:8 (NLT) “So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them up from Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land.” Devotional message: When the Israelites cried out because of the oppression they were experiencing under the Egyptians and Pharaoh, heaven responded by raising a deliverer. Moses was born, prepared, and eventually sent by God to lead Israel out of Egypt. This reveals a powerful truth: God often responds to the cries of a generation by raising people who will become part of the answer. Moses was not born by accident. His arrival was connected to a divine assignment. There was a cry in Egypt, and God had already prepared a deliverer. In the same way, your birth, location, family, community, and generation are not accidents. God has positioned you somewhere for a purpose. There may be a cry in your community for transformation, and God may have raised you to become part of the answer. There may be a cry for good governance, integrity, justice, and righteous leadership, and God may be preparing you to bring change. There may be a cry within your family for someone to arise and break cycles of poverty, oppression, ignorance, or darkness, and God may have positioned you to become that person. Sometimes we complain about the very things God has given us an assignment to address. We lament about corruption but do not pursue integrity. We complain about poverty but do not develop solutions. We complain about the condition of our families but do not take responsibility for becoming agents of change. We complain about the state of our communities, churches, workplaces, and nations while waiting for someone else to arise. Child of God, perhaps the cry you hear is the reason God positioned you there. Moses could have remained in Midian and continued with his own life, but God called him back to Egypt because there was a people who needed deliverance. Your assignment may require you to leave your comfort zone and step into the place where your generation needs you. Therefore, arise from sleep, slumber, fear, excuses, and procrastination. Discover what God has entrusted to you and begin to take faithful steps toward fulfilling it. That business you desire to establish, that ministry God has placed in your heart, that family you desire to transform, that community you desire to influence, or that change you desire to see may not happen through complaints and murmuring. Someone must arise and take the first step. Do not wait for perfect conditions before you begin. Moses had limitations, questions, and fears, yet God still called him. What matters is not that you have everything figured out, but that you are willing to surrender yourself to God and allow Him to work through you. The cry of a generation may be God's invitation to you.Arise. Take your place. Become the answer. God can raise a person to become an answer to the cry of a generation. Stop merely complaining about what is wrong around you and ask God how He wants to use you to bring the change you desire to see. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS. SERMON TOPIC: BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP FOR A BROKEN WORLD Leading with Character, Courage, Compassion and Christ Key Texts: Matthew 5:13–16; Mark 10:42–45; Nehemiah 2:17–18; 1 Timothy 4:12; Micah 6:8 THE WORLD DOES NOT JUST NEED MORE LEADERS We are living in a broken world. Families are broken. Trust is broken. Institutions are struggling. Young people are searching for direction. Many people have influence but lack character. Some have position but no compassion. Others have power but no wisdom. And here is the question: Who will stand in the gap? The answer is not necessarily people with titles. God is looking for men and women whose lives can become examples, whose character can become a message, and whose leadership can bring light into dark places. Biblical leadership is not about sitting at the top and commanding everybody beneath you. Biblical leadership is about serving people under the authority of God. Jesus did not define greatness by how many people served you. He said: > “Whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister.” — Matthew 20:26 The world says, “Climb to the top.” Jesus says, “Go down and serve.” The world says, “Protect your position.” Jesus says, “Use your position to bless others.” 1. BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP BEGINS WITH CHARACTER 1 Timothy 4:12 > “Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” Before God gives a person a platform, He develops the person. Position can introduce you, but character sustains you. A leader may have: Intelligence without integrity. Influence without wisdom. Authority without humility. Education without godliness. Money without compassion. But leadership without character eventually becomes dangerous. Joseph is an example. Joseph was given authority in Egypt, but his greatest qualification was not merely administrative ability. He had character. When temptation came through Potiphar's wife, Joseph said: > “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9 Joseph understood something important: A leader must know who he is when nobody is watching. Your public leadership should be an extension of your private walk with God. Spiritual insight: God is more interested in the person you are becoming than the position you are occupying. 2. BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP IS SERVANT LEADERSHIP Mark 10:43–45 Jesus said: > “Whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister.” Then He gave Himself as the ultimate example: > “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister.” Jesus had all authority, yet He served. He washed feet. He touched the rejected. He fed the hungry. He welcomed children. He listened to people. He carried the burden of humanity to the cross. True leadership asks: “How can I help?” Not: “What can I gain?” A father leads by serving his family. A mother leads by serving her home. A pastor leads by serving the flock. A teacher leads by developing students. A young Christian can lead by being a godly example among friends. You do not need a title before you can become a leader. Influence begins wherever responsibility begins. 3. BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP REQUIRES COURAGE TO REBUILD WHAT IS BROKEN Nehemiah 2:17–18 Nehemiah saw the broken walls of Jerusalem and said: > “Come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem.” He did not merely complain about the problem. He became part of the solution. That is leadership. Anybody can identify what is wrong. A leader asks: “What can I do to make it better?” Nehemiah saw destruction, but he also saw possibility. He saw broken walls, but he believed they could be rebuilt. He saw discouragement, but he mobilized people. We need Nehemiahs today. People who will say: “I will help restore my family.” “I will mentor a young person.” “I will speak truth with love.” “I will serve my church faithfully.” “I will use my gifts to bless society.” “I will not contribute to the corruption I complain about.” “I will rebuild instead of destroy.” God does not call leaders merely to criticize brokenness. He calls them to participate in restoration. 4. BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP SPEAKS TRUTH BUT WALKS IN LOVE Micah 6:8 > “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good... to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.” A biblical leader must balance truth, justice, mercy and humility. Truth without love can become cruelty. Love without truth can become compromise. Justice without mercy can become oppression Mercy without justice can become irresponsibility. But biblical leadership brings these qualities together under God's authority. Jesus was full of grace and truth. In a broken world, leaders must refuse two extremes: Compromise: “I don't want to offend anybody, so I will say nothing.” Harshness: “I will tell the truth, but I don't care who gets hurt.” Biblical leadership says: “I will speak the truth, but I will speak it in love.” 5. BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPS OTHER LEADERS One of the greatest failures of leadership is building a system where everything depends on one person. Moses learned this lesson. Exodus 18:17–23 Jethro told Moses: > “The thing that thou doest is not good.” Moses was trying to handle everything himself. Jethro instructed him to appoint capable people to share the responsibility. A great leader does not create followers who cannot function without him. A great leader develops people who can continue the mission after him. Jesus invested in twelve disciples. Paul invested in Timothy. Elijah invested in Elisha. Moses invested in Joshua. Ask yourself: Who am I preparing to succeed me? If your ministry, business, family responsibility or assignment will collapse the moment you leave, then you may have built dependence rather than leadership. 📖 BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: NEHEMIAH — A LEADER FOR A BROKEN GENERATION Nehemiah received terrible news. Jerusalem was broken. The walls were destroyed. The people were discouraged. But Nehemiah did four things. 1. HE CARED He did not become comfortable with the suffering of others. 2. HE PRAYED Before he acted, he sought God. 3. HE PLANNED He did not rush emotionally into the assignment. 4. HE ACTED Eventually he said: > “Let us rise up and build.” — Nehemiah 2:18 That is biblical leadership: Compassion + Prayer + Wisdom + Action. 🌍 REAL-LIFE APPLICATION: OUR BROKEN WORLD NEEDS WHOLE LEADERS Look around us. Young people need mentors. Families need godly fathers and mothers. Churches need faithful servants. Communities need honest leaders. Schools need teachers who care. Businesses need people of integrity. Governments need people who understand that leadership is stewardship. And the Church needs believers who understand that Christianity is not merely about attending services. We are called to become light. Jesus said: > “Ye are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14 Light does not argue with darkness. Light enters darkness and changes the environment. 🛠️ PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS 1. Lead yourself before trying to lead others. Control your words. Control your habits. Control your emotions. Strengthen your prayer life. Study God's Word. 2. Become trustworthy. Do what you said you would do. Keep your word. Be honest when nobody is watching. 3. Serve someone intentionally every week. Find someone you can encourage, teach, support or mentor. 4. Stop complaining about everything that is wrong. Identify one problem you can help solve. Don't just point at the broken wall. Pick up a brick. 5. Develop someone younger than you. Share knowledge. Give opportunities. Correct with love. Encourage growth. 6. Keep Christ at the center of your leadership. Never allow ambition to become your god. Your leadership belongs to God. 🔥 DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS 1. Leadership is stewardship, not ownership. Your influence belongs to God. Your position belongs to God. Your gifts belong to God. One day, you will give an account of how you used them. 2. Your character is your first ministry. Before you preach to people, your life is already preaching. People may forget your sermon. They may forget your title. But they will remember how you treated them. 3. Broken environments need whole people. You cannot heal everything around you, but you can refuse to become part of the brokenness. Don't allow a corrupt environment to corrupt your character. 4. Leadership is influence before it is position. You may not be the pastor. You may not be the chairman. You may not be the director. You may not have a political position. But if people are watching your life, you have influence. Use it for God. 🤔 QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION 1. What kind of leader am I becoming? 2. Can people trust my character? 3. Do I lead by serving or by controlling? 4. What broken thing around me am I called to help rebuild? 5. Who am I mentoring? 6. What would people say about my leadership when I am not present? 7. If Jesus examined my leadership today, would He find humility? 8. Am I building people or merely building my reputation? 🙏 POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, make me a leader of character. Let my private life agree with my public testimony, in Jesus' name. 2. Lord, deliver me from pride, selfish ambition and the desire for human applause. Give me the heart of a servant. 3. Father, give me wisdom to lead my family, ministry, workplace and community according to Your will. 4. Lord, make me an instrument of restoration wherever there is brokenness around me. 5. Father, give me courage to speak truth, defend what is right and stand for righteousness without hatred or compromise. 6. Lord, help me discover and develop the people You have placed around me. 7. Father, raise godly leaders among our young people who will carry truth, integrity and faith into the next generation. 8. Lord, let my life become a light in a dark world and a blessing to my generation. 🔥 CLOSING FACTS: WHO WILL STAND IN THE GAP? The world is broken. But God has not abandoned it. He has placed His people in it. You may look at your community and say, “Someone should do something.” Perhaps God is saying: “You are someone.” You may look at the Church and say, “We need better leaders.” Perhaps God is saying: “I am preparing you.” You may look at your family and see brokenness. Start rebuilding. You may see a young person without direction. Become a mentor. You may see injustice. Stand for truth. You may see discouragement. Speak hope. You may see darkness. Shine. Don't wait for a title. Don't wait for a microphone. Don't wait for an election. Don't wait for someone to recognize you. Start serving where God has placed you. Because biblical leadership is not about how many people are beneath you. It is about how many people become better because you followed Christ. And when history looks back at our generation, may it not say: “They saw a broken world and complained.” May it say: “They saw a broken world, trusted God, stood in the gap, served their generation, and helped rebuild.” Arise. Lead. Serve. Build. Shine.
