• KENNETH COPELAND PAID FOR 800,000 TENT - Reinhard Bonnke
On Saturday, February 18, 1984, we prepared for the dedication service for the world’s largest tent. As I waited with Anni and my father in a nearby trailer a knock came at my door. My friend Ray McCauley stood there with Kenneth and Gloria Copeland from Ft. Worth, Texas. I asked them to come in. They had been drawn to the reports of our work and had come to see it for themselves. “I want to support CfaN,” Kenneth said. “I preach to the saved, you preach to the unsaved. We should be partners. ”I thanked him for that. But honestly, I had no idea how incredibly powerful his words would prove to be over the decades to come.
Later the news arrived from Cape Town. On Saturday, May 5, the tent erection was complete. That afternoon a storm of wind and rain descended. A few rips appeared in the fabric. They had been quickly repaired. As evening fell the wind increased. Gerhard Ganske, who was in charge of the tent’s anchor system, circled the tent checking the security of the cement reinforced anchors.
    Everything held securely.
Milton Kasselman, the chief electrician, went inside the tent. It held the wind at bay. Overhead the twelve masts swayed slightly, as they should. He checked the mounted flood lamps and the speaker towers. All was well.
Tent master, Kobus de Lange, and his assistant, Horst Kosanke, checked the miles of cables that counterbalanced all the forces of wind and gravity. They were doing their job. He ordered the crew back to their quarters to sleep and wait out the storm.
Suddenly, at 4 a.m., they were awakened by the sound of ripping fabric. As they rushed outside, winds were ripping the tent to shreds. It was not a hurricane. It was not even a wind strong enough to cause normal alarm. The damage they were seeing seemed supernatural, as if evil demonic forces in the wind were violently attacking the structure.
They watched helplessly as pieces came loose and flew across the surrounding city of Cape Town. By 9:30 a.m. only a few strands of fabric remained. All of the steel and cable structure remained unhurt. It looked like a huge skeleton with no skin or meat remaining on the bones. Some of the crew were reduced to uncontrolled weeping.
Five years of focused labor was destroyed in five hours.
The atmosphere became like being at a funeral. That Sunday morning churches across Cape Town mourned the loss. Their hopes had been raised so high only to be dashed to pieces by the demonic wind. Shreds of the world’s largest tent became collectors items for the residents of Cape Town. They were found scattered for miles downwind of the tent site.
Curiosity seekers came to the sports field to see the destruction. Some laughed at the calamity. They stood in the high-rise balconies and on bridges and other vantage points from which to view it. Christians gathered on the grounds, weeping, falling to their knees beneath the steel structure, praying. News media made the story front page all that day and the next.
I told my crew chief that God had given me a great peace about this event. He was to encourage the crew and to clean up the site and wait for my return.
I returned to my office I found telephone calls, telegrams, cards, and letters from around the world waiting for me. The news of the disaster had gone as far as the news of the big tent. Most of the response was overwhelmingly encouraging. But a large minority of naysayers had their day.
From the beginning I had dealt with the normal array of critics. Many people criticized the size of the tent. They said it wasn’t practical. It was too risky. The project ate money like a gambling machine. It was not good stewardship. The entire endeavor was ego driven.
With this disaster, those people had much more to say.
“This is God’s judgment on you.” “You’re out of the will of God.” “You’ve moved out from under the umbrella of divine protection.” “There is sin in your camp.” The one that hit the lowest came from a dear Pentecostal sister back in Germany. This lady had supported our work faithfully and substantially over the years. She wrote to tell me that she had seen pictures of the tent dedication in Soweto. The pictures showed that Anni had cut her hair. This sin, she said, had led to this disaster. She pledged that she would no longer send money to CfaN. She would only pray for our repentance. I must confess, that fiery dart of the Enemy got through my armor for a few days.
Even some of my co-workers lost heart. They felt that we’d been overcome by the Enemy. This was one of our darkest days. A rumor circulated that Muslims from Valhalla had marched around our tent site and had called down a curse on it. No one could offer me proof, and I gave no credence to this report. I find that when people believe an urban legend like this, it is because they desperately want to believe it. They have lost sight of their God and Savior and His unlimited power and have looked at the wind and the waves. Like Peter, who started out so well in his walk on water, he began to sink. Some of our people sank right here.
But here is the greater story of the Cape Town disaster. It was not a disaster at all! It was our greatest triumph!
First, God held the weather at bay for a full three weeks.
Local weathercasters described it as an “Indian summer.”
Furthermore, the destruction of our canopy had made us a household word in Cape Town. The media had trumpeted our story to everyone. Incredible stories of believers taking pieces of our canopy and laying it on sick people and seeing them healed were told. Believers and sinners came by the droves to our meetings.
I caught a flight to America. On the long trip I had a new surge of excitement in my soul. I reflected again on Kenneth Copeland’s prophecy that I would see a million souls won in a day. A million? It still seemed unthinkable. But if we were to see a million decisions in one crowd, the entire crowd would have to exceed that number considerably. Not everyone responded in a meeting. To accomplish it, many things about the way we ran a campaign would have to change. I began to feel sure that one of those changes involved moving CfaN from South Africa. The vision of the blood-washed Africa was coming closer to reality.
Unfortunately, with so many powerful thoughts running through my head, I was too excited to sleep on the intercontinental flight.
I had no sooner landed at the Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport than I was whisked away to a pastors’ conference hosted by Kenneth Copeland, already in progress. They seated me on the front row, and Kenneth greeted me. The TV cameras turned my way, and I was on the spot. This was not good. As he preached I was so hammered by jet lag that I pinched myself black and blue to keep my eyes open. It was sheer torment.
After the meeting Kenneth and Gloria invited me to join them at a nice restaurant for dinner. I was too far gone to say no. Somehow I managed to keep moving and not fall prostrate. At dinner Kenneth told me he had heard about the tent. He asked me to tell him what happened. I told him how the fabric had failed in the wind. We had discovered that it had a design flaw. An insurance settlement was tied up in court. It would be years before we saw the verdict. In the meantime, Peter van den Berg had found a new fabric through a company in England that would hold in a hurricane.
    “How much will it cost?”
    “$800,000.”
“The Lord has told me to give you what you need. I am giving you $800,000. Go buy a new top for the tent.”
I was too stunned and too jet lagged to reply at first.
“When God tells me to give, I get excited. He’s telling me to plant a seed in good soil with CfaN. My faith puts the seed in the ground where God directs. The harvest belongs to the Lord. And let me tell you, His harvest will sweep my little financial troubles away like so much chaff on the wind.
    Hallelujah! Praise God.”
It did my heart good to hear this man of faith. “I believe that too,” I said.
When I finally closed my eyes that night my happiness and exhaustion were complete and total. I felt like a body surfer picked up by a tsunami. As I drifted into fitful sleep, I heard my own voice speaking to Anni when we were in Singapore, “I am not worried about the tent. That’s what worries me. I should be worried about it, but I’m not. I feel nothing but peace.”
The schedule for completing our new tent was set, thanks to the generous check from Kenneth Copeland. It allowed us to plan beyond 1985. The new canopy would be delivered and tested in time to erect both tents side by side in Harare. The big tent for the main meetings; the smaller yellow tent for counseling and follow-up.
The Harare Sheraton and Conference Center would house our Fire Conference for evangelists with an auditorium seating 4,500.

    Where Did It Go?

    By Deborah Shaffer

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8 verse 1

“Never look back.” I’ve heard this statement so many times, but I don’t agree with it. However, I do agree that we should not look back and allow condemnation over past sins and mistakes to bring us to despair. There are times though that looking back can be valuable, and a trip to the golf course one summer morning taught me this lesson.

It was very early and the sun was just coming up. As I approached the second hole, the sun was directly in my eyes, blinding me. I hit the ball with a perfect and mighty swing. The sound of the club striking the ball was like music to my ears, and I just knew it was one of the best hits I’d ever made. As I watched it fly straight down the fairway, the rays from the bright sun made me lose sight of the ball. I knew the general direction, but I had no clue where it had landed, even though I’d watched it until it hit the ground. I treaded off on the wet grass right down the middle of the fairway. I knew it went straight.

I carefully scanned the area around me as I eagerly anticipated my next superb shot. I searched every inch of where I thought the ball had landed, but to no avail. That’s when I decided to turn around. (Maybe it wasn’t as great a shot as I had imagined.) Much to my dismay, as soon as I turned around, I saw the bright yellow fluorescent ball much further back than I had thought.

You see, if I hadn’t looked back, I would have never come face-to-face with the truth. The truth was that I had hit the ball straight, and that was great! But the truth also was that I didn’t hit it very far—I needed to improve on that. No condemnation. Just facts.

In my daily walk with God I need to keep my eyes focused on my goals and hopes—God’s purpose for my life. I need to strive and push forward to achieve all that God is leading me to do. But I also need to stop and look back at times. It’s a good way to measure my progress—as well as making sure I’m still on the right course.

When I get discouraged, when I think I’m getting nowhere, I look back and see how far I’ve really come. I remember the good and ask God to help me improve where improvement is needed. Only after facing the truth can I deal with my next challenge with the confidence only God can give.

    A Living Masterpiece

    By Teresa Bonilla

“… ‘Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!’ ….” Psalm 118:23

The first day of spring had arrived and with it the beautiful blooming flowers. It seemed as if all of southern Illinois were a garden. Red flowers, yellow flowers, green grass—they all suddenly appeared outside my window. And while it was impossible for me to picture it, every time there was a change of season I got a glimpse of how our Earth’s first week went.

Yes, spring is my favorite season. Only a talented, merciful Being like God can take a dead, broken, hopeless world and transform it into the most beautiful piece of art in the blink of an eye! A long time ago, I concluded that if He can take a dead tree and bring it to life, He can do the same work in us; and the Lord continues to change my life from dreary winter darkness into sun-soaked spring.

During times of loneliness or discouragement, He strengthens and renews me. He paints a new picture for me each day, making the sun shine in my heart—even when it rains. I can’t help but say, “I love you, Lord, my source of strength! The Lord is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.” Psalm 18:1–2 (NET).

I have many talented friends that can draw the unimaginable, and I’ve seen many amazing works of art. But nothing has amazed me as much as God’s artwork! He doesn’t just exhibit His art on gallery walls, either—we all have the opportunity to observe His designs in the clouds, the flowers, the animals, and even in the wind.

But His best paintings are the ones He does inside our hearts. When we allow Him to do His work, we will never find anything less than a masterpiece in there! The condition He finds us in doesn’t matter. His creativity transforms any broken, filthy stone into a shining jewel.

Before He begins, He considers every damaged and torn part of our lives, in order to restore it. He even chose to live like we do in order to sympathize with us completely. “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:15–16). His undivided attention to every detail makes each piece of art unique and precious.

Will you let Christ into your heart to make it into a most beautiful work of art? It will be a painting anyone can look at and admire—and others will recognize His work, because it will have His signature all over it!

  • Knowing YHWH In An Intimate Way
    Exodus 34:6-7

    INTRODUCTION:

    1. Do you know YHWH in an intimate way? It is possible that we can go through this life obeying YHWH and His commandments, but yet not have an intimate relationship with Him.

    2. Moses, in the beginning of his ministry, had this type of relationship with YHWH.

    In Exodus 33:12-13

    a. At that point in Moses’ life, he had obeyed YHWH’s instructions. For example:

    (1) He had delivered the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage.
    (2) He had helped the Israelites pass through the Red Sea.
    (3) He had led the Israelites to Mount Sinai where YHWH gave them the Ten Commandments.

    b. Moses had obeyed YHWH’s instructions, but yet, he still did not know YHWH in an intimate way.

The sad truth to this story is that some believers today still follow YHWH’s commands and instructions, but yet do not know Him in a personal and intimate way.

YHWH is going to introduce himself to us so that we may have a more intimate relationship with him.

    Exodus 34:5-7

From this passage, YHWH reveals himself in a personal way.

I would like to share three wonderful characteristics of YHWH that I hope will help us better understand YHWH which will help us develop a more intimate relationship with him.

    I. FIRST, TO KNOW YHWH IN AN INTIMATE WAY, WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT YHWH IS A COMPASSIONATE AND GRACIOUS YHWH.

    1. The Psalmist expressed it best in Ps. 145:7-9

    ILLUSTRATION:

In 1975 a child named Raymond Dunn, Jr., was born in New York State. The Associated Press reports that at his birth, a skull fracture and oxygen deprivation caused severe retardation. As Raymond grew, the family discovered further impairments. His twisted body suffered up to twenty seizures per day. He was blind, mute, and immobile. He had severe allergies that limited him to only one food: A meat-based formula made by Gerber Foods.

In 1985, Gerber stopped making the formula that Raymond lived on. Carol Dunn scoured the country to buy what stores had in stock, accumulating cases and cases, but in 1990 her supply ran out. In desperation, she appealed to Gerber for help. Without this particular food, Raymond would starve to death.

The employees of the company listened. In an unprecedented action, volunteers donated hundreds of hours to bring out old equipment, set up production lines, obtain special approval from the USDA, and produce the formula—all for one special boy.

In January 1995, Raymond Dunn, Jr, known as the Gerber boy, died from his physical problems. But during his brief lifetime he called forth a wonderful thing called compassion.

    2. YHWH has the kind of compassion for us as the Gerber company had for this boy. YHWH looks down upon us with care, and concern, and He will do everything in His power to help us.

    3. YHWH is a compassionate and merciful!

    a. He is so compassionate that when we sin and ask for forgiveness, He forgives us.

    b. He is so compassionate that He heals our illnesses.

    c. He is so compassionate that He blesses us with food, shelter, and jobs.

    4. Words cannot express how great YHWH is.

    James 5:11

This week why don’t you focus on YHWH’s compassion and mercy? Go to Him in prayer and thank Him for being so wonderful to you.

II. SECOND, TO KNOW YHWH IN AN INTIMATE WAY, WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT YHWH IS SLOW TO ANGER.

    1. Some people think that YHWH is quick to become angry with us when we make a mistake. However, the truth is that when we make a mistake, YHWH is patient with us and slow to anger.

The scriptures say in Ps. 103:8-11

    2. YHWH is not like us. When we get angry our natural inclination is to get even. Retaliate with vengeance. However, YHWH is not that way at all. In fact, YHWH is a loving Elohim who is slow to anger who does not treat us as our sins deserve.

III. THIRD, TO KNOW YHWH IN AN INTIMATE WAY, WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT YHWH IS ABOUNDING IN LOVE.

    1. The greatest act of love that YHWH has shown us is when He sent His son Messiah to die on the cross for our sins.

    John 3:16-17

    2. No greater act of love has ever been demonstrated than when Messiah gave His life in order to save ours. It is through His blood that we have forgiveness of our sins, which enables us to be reconciled to YHWH and have a relationship with Him. If you want to know about love, then look to the cross.

    ILLUSTRATION:

Jason Tuskes was a 17-year-old high school honor student. He was close to his mother, his wheelchair-bound father, and his younger brother. Jason was an expert swimmer who loved to scuba dive.

One Tuesday morning, Jason left home to explore a spring and underwater cave near his home in west central Florida.

While scuba diving, Jason became lost in the cave. Then, in his panic, he apparently got wedged into a narrow passageway. When he realized he was trapped, he shed his yellow metal air tank and unsheathed his diver’s knife. With the tank as a tablet and the knife as a pen, he wrote one last message to his family: I love you mom, dad, and Christine. Then he ran out of air and drowned.

    3. YHWH's final words to us are etched on a Roman cross. They are blood red, and they scream to be heard. They, too, say, "I love you."

    The scriptures say Rom. 5:8

    4. Aren’t you glad that YHWH is so loving? The Bible says that YHWH is love in 1 John 4:8

    CONCLUSION:

    1. If you do not have an intimate relationship with YHWH then it is probably because you don’t know Him very well.

    2. YHWH has introduced Himself to us. He has made known to us His goodness. He personally proclaimed Himself to us.

    Exodus 34:5-7

    3. YHWH has introduced Himself to us. He has shown us who He is. It is my prayer that you have gotten to know Him better so that you will have a more intimate relationship with Him.
Knowing YHWH In An Intimate Way Exodus 34:6-7 INTRODUCTION: 1. Do you know YHWH in an intimate way? It is possible that we can go through this life obeying YHWH and His commandments, but yet not have an intimate relationship with Him. 2. Moses, in the beginning of his ministry, had this type of relationship with YHWH. In Exodus 33:12-13 a. At that point in Moses’ life, he had obeyed YHWH’s instructions. For example: (1) He had delivered the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage. Exodus 34:5-7 From this passage, YHWH reveals himself in a personal way. 145:7-9 ILLUSTRATION: In 1975 a child named Raymond Dunn, Jr., was born in New York State. James 5:11 This week why don’t you focus on YHWH’s compassion and mercy? Go to Him in prayer and thank Him for being so wonderful to you. II. SECOND, TO KNOW YHWH IN AN INTIMATE WAY, WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT YHWH IS SLOW TO ANGER. 1. Some people think that YHWH is quick to become angry with us when we make a mistake. However, the truth is that when we make a mistake, YHWH is patient with us and slow to anger. • Your Feet May Be Telling You Something Important

Our feet carry us through life, yet they're often one of the most overlooked parts of our health. Changes in your feet can sometimes be early warning signs of underlying medical conditions.

Watch for signs such as: Cold feet Swelling Numbness or tingling Slow-healing wounds Blue or pale toes Thick, yellow toenails

These symptoms may be related to circulation problems, diabetes, nerve damage, or fungal infections. Early recognition and proper care can help prevent serious complications.

As Proverbs 4:23 reminds us: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." While this verse speaks of our spiritual lives, it also reminds us to be good stewards of the bodies God has entrusted to us. Caring for our health allows us to better serve Him and those around us.

    Bird Rescue.

    By Cari Christian

    July 2nd, 2026

Depression silently laid itself over my being like a leaded cloak. Sadness engulfed me; it was the anniversary of my mother’s death and though I hadn’t given it any conscious thought, something deep inside of me just knew.

People praised me for my stoicism during Mom’s illness, and for returning to work immediately after she died. Stress and shock prevented me from realizing the terror I felt before she died, and how devastated and alone I felt afterward. When physically injured, we seek medical attention, but often ignore injuries of the mind and heart. I needed help. Professional help. But learning that I’d have to wait two weeks before seeing a Christian counselor deepened my depression.

Dusk settled as I plunked onto the steps and picked up the neighbor’s kitten, Misty. “God help me,” I breathed. Suddenly Misty leaped from my lap and into the grass, puzzling over something completely invisible. I stepped off the porch and felt the grass in front of her. There, my fingers encountered a lump of scraggly fluff attached to a wide, yellow smile—a baby bird.

Would this tiny creature live overnight without nourishment? Once inside, I poked wet millet bread into its throat. Its gullet bulged. Is that normal? I wondered. I hope I haven’t harmed it.

Soon I was searching the Internet on the care and feeding of nestlings, and a moment later, it stirred. Anxiously, I peered into the box. The little bird shuffled around, stuck it’s behind into the air, and … well, let’s just say that all its vital systems were functioning. As it snuggled into a nest of tissue and slept, I concocted a mash of kitten chow and egg for the following day.

The next morning an open beak greeted me. Advised by the wildlife center to keep the bird, this was the first of many feedings that would happen at least every half hour, from dawn till dusk, for the next three weeks.

Feedings were incessant. Cleaning was constant. My chirping companion demanded continual attention, and claimed the attention and affection of others, too. Many took interest in seeing it survive and thrive and willingly gave their time and resources to help a seemingly insignificant nestling that could have easily been a cat’s amusement and snack.

God was interested in seeing me survive and thrive too, so he sent a baby bird to rescue me until I could learn to take better care of myself. As it turns out, all of Heaven is interested in me—and in you, too! Luke 12:6–7 says, “‘Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.’” Just as the many people eagerly contributed to my little nestling’s maturing into a healthy bird, so all of Heaven’s resources are poured out for God’s little ones, you and me, right down to God giving us His continual attention and sending His own Son to rescue us and teach us how to live and survive.

Just so you know, Cedar, as we came to call him, took to the treetops with other birds, but came back for rides on my shoulder and supplemental feedings for a number of weeks after he began living outdoors. He even came inside to escape the summer heat or to dry off after a rainstorm a few times, but those are stories for another time. Now that spring is rolling back around in North America, I just hope he’ll bring the grand-birdies by for a visit.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY TUESDAY June 23, 2026. "YOUR FAITH IS A CATALYST"

‘…The message…did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith…’ Hebrews 4:2 AMP

A CATALYST facilitates change; it makes things happen! For example, Alka-Seltzer without water has no effervescence, flour without yeast produces no bread, seeds without sunshine means no flowers, blue without yellow means no green, an egg without sperm means no baby, a spark without air produces no flame. Faith makes God’s Word work in your life. Without it nothing happens. Talking about the Israelites, Paul said, ‘When the good news of deliverance…came to them…the message…did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith.’ One author says: ‘Without specific catalysts certain results can never be achieved. To make spiritual progress, it’s not enough to read the Bible or listen to sermons. The activating ingredient to understanding is faith. After we hear God’s message, we must act on it…Maybe you’re experiencing bitterness or anger because of a failed relationship and God told you to put those emotions behind you, but you lack the will to do it. Let me encourage you; trust God’s Word and act in faith. His promises will bloom in your life, once you activate your faith.’ Faith is not intellectual assent, or paying lip service to what you read in God’s Word. It’s acting on it, confident that God will do what He promised. There’s a difference between faith and trust. You may believe a chair will hold you, but, only when you sit down and put your full weight on it, are you trusting it. Getting the idea?

    MD.ii. IN THE BEGINNING GOD

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" - Genesis 1:1

Christians, similar to God's chosen people of Israel, have separate laws and customs. They have different thoughts and do not worship wooden or stone gods, but they worship the God of Israel, who is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They believe that God is the Creator of heaven, earth and man. When we read the history of Israel, we see that God set His people apart and that they had nothing to do with the customs of the gentiles around them.

The gentiles did not understand the habits of God's people. They were engaged in sorcery, fortune telling, and they consult the spirits of the dead. Christians, like the Jews, are set apart. We are 'strangers' here on earth. We believe the first verses of the Bible: 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth' and 'So God created mankind in His own image' (Genesis 1:27). Jesus, the Word of God became flesh. There is certainly no other way to find God than through Jesus.

Many people still believe that we have evolved from the monkey. We, the believers in God, know better. You might ask 'Where are the proofs and facts of this Biblical theory?' There is much more evidence that God speaks the truth than all evidence scientists use to try to demonstrate the 'big bang' theory. This theory can only be accepted if you believe in it.

In Psalm 53:1 we read: 'The fool says in his heart: there is no God.' When you look at the nature and you realize how your body works, you know that there must be a great Architect, and this is God! No scientist dares to say that his theories are unquestionable. This is not the case with the Bible. The creation story is still real and unchanged. We are created in the image of God and are also spiritually connected to Him. Even my mind tells me 'There must be, there must be, there must be a Creator!'

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

The steps of a Goodness Osondu man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. ⏤ Psalm 37:23

God’s guidance is clearest when our trust in Him is steadfast. ⏤ Elisabeth Elliot

Graciously come to us this morning, O God, and bless us. We deserve no favor at Your hand—but You are a God of mercy. Out of the depths, we have cried unto You. Lord, hear our cry, and let Your ear be attentive to the voice of our supplication. If You should mark iniquities against us—we could not stand before You, for we have sinned in manifold ways. But there is forgiveness with You—that You may be feared. We wait for Your mercy, for with You there is redemption.

You have a purpose for each one of our lives today, something You would have us to do. May You make it plain to each of us as we go out, and go through the hours, what it is You have in Your plan for us. We would do Your will and not our own all the day. Show us what You will have us to do. Teach us to do Your commandments. Let us not follow the foolish counsels and devices of our own hearts. Let us not lean unto our own understanding. Incline our hearts to follow You, and to walk in the way of Your commandments. So may we please You and glorify Your name.

We desire to be blessings in the world, and we ask You for grace to show to all who see us, Your beauty in our own lives. Fill us with Your Spirit and then Your life shall shine in us. May the joy of Jesus be in our hearts. Help us to be comforters to those who are in sorrow. May we be enabled to help others with the burdens that are too heavy for them. Teach us how to sympathize with those who are suffering. Help us to be winners of souls. Bless our home, and keep us while absent one from the other, bringing us all together in the evening. And may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with us. Amen.
