A Word Fitly Spoken By Shelley Quinn August 27th, 2026 “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.” Proverbs 25:11 God has given me a consistently positive attitude—a heart that overflows with thanksgiving. He taught me the power of life and death is in the tongue. I confess His Word over my life and speak it into the lives of others. I know His Word is living and powerful and will not return to Him void but will accomplish the purpose for which He sent it. I’m telling you this to establish that faith is an essential aspect of my being. A false teaching on faith caused me to walk away from God for a time in my twenties. My non-denominational church taught me to have faith “in faith.” In other words, if I could ratchet up enough faith, God was obliged to act. Hoping my mother would be healed of her bi-polar condition, I was convinced my faith would bring her healing. It didn’t. Disillusioned, I turned my back on God until He chased me down with His love. God must be the object of our faith. Trusting His unfailing love and His faithfulness is true biblical faith. Faith is not a denial of facts—it’s reliance upon God in the midst of troubling circumstances. Which brings me to my point. A “positivity” wave has rolled over some Christian circles. Their insistent demand on avoiding all negativity deeply troubles me because it is a toxic additive to biblical faith. Authentic expression of emotion is rejected, labeled as lack of faith, and met with positive platitudes. Personal feelings are invalidated with quick responses like, “It could be worse” or “Count your blessings,” bringing shame on those who are gripped by pain. Are we guilty of using God’s Word to silence others? Rather than intentional listening, do we gush out positivity with the pressure of a firehose? Like the calloused “comforters” of the patriarch Job, do our words hurt—rather than heal? Emotional distress is our shared human experience. It will not be denied! Try suppressing it, and it will rear its ugly head in sleeplessness, crying jags, anxiety, panic attacks, prolonged stress, and spiritual paralysis. Oh, may we be authentic communicators like Jesus! He wept with Martha over Lazarus’ death. He wept over Jerusalem. He told of His impending death and warned His followers of tribulations. May we freely express our laments as the saints of old recorded in Scripture. Granting ourselves permission to speak our discomfort can provide release and open the way for God’s healing. Just read the Psalms to see how honest laments led to an acknowledgment of our all-loving God and hope in His rescue. Scripture advises we “weep with those who weep” and be “swift to hear, slow to speak.” We owe it to others to listen with the intention of understanding their pain and offering compassion. Only then can we speak a word in due season—the right word at the right time. A word fitly spoken can shine God’s light into the darkness of the soul and restore hope.

It is when the rent is due, the baby is sick, you lost your job, or your friend betrayed you that you’ll lean on God the most! Leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus is a great place to be! Daily Devotional Be eyes to the blind; Feet to the lame. I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. Job 29:15 Watch carefully, prayerfully, conscientiously, lest the mind become so engrossed with many important business transactions that true godliness is overlooked and love is quenched from the soul, notwithstanding the great and pitiful need of your being God’s helping hand to the blind and to all others who are unfortunate. The most friendless demand the most attention. Use your time and strength in learning to be “fervent in spirit,” to deal justly, and to love mercy, “serving the Lord.” Remember that Christ says, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.” God requires His people to be far more pitiful and considerate of the unfortunate than they are.... God requires that the same consideration which should be given to the widow and fatherless be given to the blind and to those suffering under the affliction of other physical infirmities. Disinterested benevolence is very rare in this age of the world.... It is strange that professed Christian men should disregard the plain, positive teachings of the Word of God and feel no compunction of conscience. God places upon them the responsibility of caring for the unfortunate, the blind, the lame, the widow, and the fatherless; but many make no effort to regard it. There is a great work to be done in our world, and as we approach the close of earth’s history, it does not lessen in the least degree; but when the perfect love of God is in the heart, wonderful things will be done. August 27, 2026 (day 239/365) THURSDAY GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY “God Is Greater Than Our Understanding” Job 12:13 “With God are wisdom and might; He has counsel and understanding.” This is the Word of God. Job 12 reminds us that God possesses wisdom and understanding far beyond human knowledge. Job was suffering deeply, yet he recognized that God remained sovereign and wise even when he could not understand what was happening. There are times when life brings questions for which we have no answers. We may wonder why God allows certain things to happen or why our prayers seem unanswered. In such moments, we may not understand God's ways, but we can still trust His wisdom. Our limited understanding sees only a small part of the story, while God sees the beginning, the middle, and the end. Faith means trusting Him even when we cannot see the whole picture. May God give us humble hearts that trust His wisdom, especially when we do not understand His ways, and help us rest confidently in His sovereign care. Amen. NOW YOUR TURN — JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION NOW ON YOU 1 Pet 4:17 — if it begins with us first, what will be end of you? Because God finished with His house, He now turns to you. Your judgement of correction is now set — now subjected on you — this is order of God — Ezek 18:30 — Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. This is not accident — this is ORDER on you. And hear warning: This punishment to you will be harsher than that subjected on His house. Luke 12:47-48 — that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare... shall be beaten with many stripes. For everyone to whom much is given, much will be required. To His house — bleach hedge — wound — but spare life — to preserve for calling. To you evil doers — many stripes — because you knew — you built altars — you sent voices — Eph 6:12 — you fought calling that fights Satan — 1 John 3:8 — you persecuted to make calling fail — Rev 12:17 — you knew. Now unless you repent and live pure before God through faith in Christ, harsher correction falls — disease beyond wound — torment beyond voices — shame beyond nakedness — loss beyond flesh — Ps 11:6 — Upon wicked He will rain coals; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be portion of their cup. WHAT GOD DEMANDS NOW: Repent — Acts 17:30 — God now commands all men everywhere to repent. Believe in faith — 1 John 1:7 — blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin — 1 Tim 4:5 — sanctified by Word and prayer. Live pure — Rev 14:4-5 — These are ones not defiled... without fault before throne of God — 1 John 3:9 — whoever born of God does not practice sin. Be true Israel — not practising sin — Matt 6:33 — seek first Kingdom and His righteousness, and much more shall be added. IF YOU REFUSE — JUDGEMENT OF DESTRUCTION FOLLOWS If you refuse to repent now in this correction — judgement of destruction is already appointed. Prov 11:21 — Though hand join in hand, wicked shall not go unpunished. 1 Pet 4:18 — If righteous one scarcely saved, where will ungodly and sinner appear? 2 Thess 1:8-9 — In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thursday, 27th August, 2026 TITLE: "FAITHFUL IN LITTLE, TRUSTED WITH MUCH" ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S) Luke 16:10 (KJV) "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much." Psalm 75:6–7 (KJV) "For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another." QUOTE TO REFLECT ON "Faithfulness in small things prepares you for greater things." DAY'S REFLECTION Many people desire great opportunities, promotion, influence, wealth, and recognition. But God's Word teaches us that greatness is often preceded by faithfulness in small things. Jesus says in Luke 16:10, "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much." The word "faithful" means dependable, trustworthy, loyal, and consistent. "That which is least" refers to things that may appear small, ordinary, or insignificant in our eyes. God watches how we handle what we have before giving us responsibility for what we desire. A person who is careless with small responsibilities may also become careless when entrusted with greater ones. Sometimes people think, "When I get a better job, I will work harder," or "When God gives me more money, I will become generous." But biblical principles teach the opposite: be faithful now with what you already have. Be faithful with your time. Be faithful with your work. Be faithful with your relationships. Be faithful with money. Be faithful in serving God. Be faithful even when nobody is watching. Psalm 75:6–7 reminds us that promotion ultimately comes from God. The psalmist says that promotion does not come simply from geographical directions or human sources, but "God is the judge." He has the authority to "putteth down" one and "setteth up" another. This does not mean that effort, preparation, excellence, or wise relationships are unnecessary. Rather, it reminds us that human connections cannot replace God's sovereignty. We should work diligently while trusting God with the outcome. Life experience teaches us that small responsibilities often reveal a person's true character. Someone who cannot be trusted with a small assignment will struggle when given a greater one. Conversely, consistent faithfulness builds a reputation for reliability and prepares a person for greater responsibility. Therefore, do not despise your present season because it seems small. Your current assignment may be God's training ground for your future. If you are serving in a small capacity, serve faithfully. If your business is still growing, work honestly. If your opportunity seems insignificant, give it your best. If recognition has not yet come, continue doing what is right. God sees your faithfulness. Your responsibility is to be faithful; God's responsibility is to determine the time and manner of promotion. PRAYER Heavenly Father, make me faithful, trustworthy, and diligent in every responsibility You give me. Help me honour You in small things and trust You for promotion in Your perfect time. Seek God First (Matthew 6:33) What are you chasing? Success? Money? A better job? A relationship? Recognition? A bigger house? More followers? A better future? There is nothing wrong with having goals and dreams. God has given us abilities, opportunities, and responsibilities that we should use wisely. But there is a danger when the things we want become more important than the God who gave us the ability to pursue them. Jesus said: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Notice the order: Seek God first. Not after your career. Not after your relationships. Not after you've achieved your goals. Not only when you are in trouble. First. The world tells us: “Build your career first.” “Make money first.” “Become successful first.” “Get everything you want first.” Then we can easily begin treating God as something we fit into the remaining space in our lives. But God doesn't want to be an afterthought. He wants to be at the centre. Think about your daily schedule. What receives your best attention? What occupies your thoughts? What determines your decisions? What do you spend most of your time pursuing? Your priorities reveal what matters most to you. You can say that God is first, but your life will eventually show whether that is true. Seeking God first means making Him central to your decisions. Before accepting an opportunity, ask: “Does this honour God?” Before entering a relationship, ask: “Will this relationship help me grow closer to Christ?” Before making a major financial decision, ask: “Am I handling what God has given me responsibly?” Before choosing how to use your time, ask: “What does God want me to do with this day?” Seeking God first doesn't mean abandoning your ambitions. It means surrendering your ambitions to Him. You can pursue a career and still honour God. You can build a business and still honour God. You can become successful and still remain humble. You can have financial goals and still put God first. The question isn't whether you have goals. The question is: Who is at the centre of those goals? Are you pursuing success so people will admire you? Or are you pursuing excellence so you can use your gifts to serve God and others? Are you chasing money because you believe it will finally make you happy? Or are you learning to manage resources faithfully and generously? Are you seeking recognition? Or are you content knowing that God sees your work even when people don't? Jesus also warned us about constantly worrying about material things. We worry about food. Clothing. Money. Tomorrow. Our future. And sometimes our pursuit of these things becomes so intense that we forget the God who sustains us. You don't have to ignore your responsibilities. Work hard. Plan wisely. Save. Learn. Build. Prepare. But don't let anxiety become your master. Trust God while you do your part. There will always be something else to chase. Another achievement. Another purchase. Another milestone. Another level. If your heart is always saying, “I'll be happy when I get that next thing,” you may spend your entire life waiting for happiness. But contentment begins when you recognize that God is enough. Paul learned this kind of contentment. He experienced abundance and hardship, yet his confidence wasn't ultimately based on his circumstances. His strength was found in Christ. And that's the kind of foundation we need. Because everything we own can disappear. Positions can change. Money can come and go. People can leave. Opportunities can close. But God remains. And if you have Jesus, you possess something far more valuable than anything this world can offer. Salvation. Forgiveness. Grace. A relationship with God. A hope that extends beyond this temporary life. So today, examine your priorities. Maybe you've been so busy building your future that you've neglected your relationship with God. Maybe your career has become your identity. Maybe money has become your security. Maybe your relationship has become your source of happiness. Maybe social media has become your source of validation. It's time to put things back in their proper place. Seek God first. Pray first. Read His Word. Listen to His voice. Obey Him. Serve Him. Love people. Work faithfully. And trust Him with the results. Don't build a successful life and discover later that you left God out of it. Build your life with God at the centre. When God is first, everything else can find its proper place. Today, ask yourself: “What has been competing with God for first place in my heart?” Then surrender it to Him. Not tomorrow. Devotion: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.’ I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ’s power over me. I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” We are nothing compared to Christ. It would do us well to remember that we are, after all, God’s creations, and while He made us in a perfect way, we live in an imperfect and sinful world, a world that we often find seductively attractive and even drawn to. God made us perfect, but we, because of our human nature tend to tread a wider road than the one He intends for us. We always want the ‘easy’ way out. This ‘easy’ way often involves atrocious acts, things that we never thought we’d be capable of. This is our weakness, our human nature, but luckily for us, we serve a powerful God. * God is infinitely more powerful than weak man – Daniel 4:35: “He looks on the people of the earth as nothing; angels in heaven and people on earth are under his control. No one can oppose his will or question what he does.” * Man was born weak – Job 14:1-2: “We are all born weak and helpless. Alle lead the same, short, troubled life. We grow and wither as quickly as flowers; we disappear like shadows.” * God is all powerful – Jeremiah 32:27: “I am the LORD, the God of the whole human race. Nothing is too difficult for me.” * God holds our lives in His hands – Job 12:10: “It is God who directs the lives of his creatures; everyone’s life is in his power.” * God will show mercy to all so that His Name can be glorified – Acts 10:35: “Those who worship him and do what is right are acceptable to him, no matter what race they belong to.” * In our weakness we have received redemption, sowe owe our life to God – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: “You do not belong to yourselves but to God; he bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God’s glory.” Do you understand that your weakness is proof of God’s glory? Do you know your trials and troubles are proof of His patience and mercy? They are not punishment for a worldly life, they are tests that each Christian must endure to prove his worth. Are you prepared to take up your cross, carry your burden, and show the world that you can thrive in the Name of the Father? Red 7 vision came to me — not curse — but disciplinary act on me — Ps 37:23 — steps of good man ordered by Lord. Punishment = 1 Pet 4:17 — judgement begin at house of God first. 1. SPIRITUAL WARFARE : EVIL— VOICES — EPH 6:12 Before accident, evil altar with voices already existing in my life — voices I heard when no one present — causing confusion, disturbance, threatening---spiritual warfare. Eph 6:12 — we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness. I fought them with Word of God — Eph 6:17 — sword of Spirit, which is Word of God — 2 Cor 10:4-5 — mighty to pull down strongholds. Why this spiritual warfare? Because my calling fought Satan & works of Satan. 1 John 3:8 — For this purpose Son of God manifested, that He might destroy works of devil. That purpose is my calling. Acts 26:18 — to turn them from darkness to light, and from power of Satan to God. Rev 12:17 — dragon enraged, went to make war with offspring who keep commandments and have testimony of Jesus. Aim of evil altar: persecute me so that to fail that calling God had put for me before Him — servant , & a witness of Jesus of last days testifying to what the son shown me.--- abort Green 7, vision Red 7, vision , skeleton vision & abort 144,000 dream. Acts26:16 2. GOD CAN BLEACH HEDGE FOR, TESTING, PURIFICATION God can bleach hedge — not remove. Thus l prayed for hedge protection & believed that l received it. And b'se true faith is tested to prove if it's pure. God allowed the hedge l had to be bleached to test my faith if it's pure but not removing the it. through using the accident. and though accident occurred on me but my life was preserved from facing physical death.. by the hedge. and people who heard this accident said it's a curse. which l didn't accept believing that the hedge was still on me. thus my faith never failed with negative words of people instead was made pure. & 1peter1:7 was fulfilled in my life. Job 1:10 — Have You not made hedge around him? Job 2:6 — Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life. Bleach = thin for two reasons: Testing — 1 Pet 1:7 — genuineness of faith tested by fire — to prove pure. Purification — Mal 3:3 — He will purify sons of Levi as gold and silver — 1 Tim 4:5 — sanctified by Word and prayer. 3. ACCIDENT = TESTING OF FAITH — BUT FAITH FAILED NOT — GOLD PURE Then accident came — motorcycle hitting dog — body wounded. People said negative: curse. I insisted: NOT curse to me. Because hedge though bleached, protected me to not go into death — Ps 118:18 — Lord chastened me severely, but has not given me over to death — Ps 34:7 — Angel encamps around those who fear Him. This accident was about testing faith — but fortunately never failed it. Luke 22:32 — I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail. 2 Cor 4:9 — struck down, but not destroyed. Flesh wounded — faith held — Word held — Blood held. Result: Gold came out pure — That's the thing. Job 23:10 — When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. Zech 13:9 — I will refine them as silver, test them as gold is tested. 1 Pet 1:7 FULFILLED IN MY LIFE — faith more precious than gold, tested, found to praise. I repented & got cleansed by blood — purified — faith clean through prayer — 1 Tim 4:5. 4. RED NO.7 MEANS COMPLETE — ORDER FINISHED Red No.7 means complete — Gen 2:2 — on seventh day God ended His work — John 19:30 — It is finished. Disciplinary action of suffering, testing, bleaching hedge — done/complete in my life now by Red No.7. Order finished.
