Topic: AFFLICTION IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY

    Bible Reading: ISAIAH 54

    _. _Meditation:
Nahum 1:9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

    Therefore I decree:
    * Let every affliction troubling your life come to an end today
    * Let every recurring affliction in your family never rise again
    * Let every cycle of failure and disappointment break
    * Let every power assigned to prolong affliction in your life, be silenced forever
    * Let every evil pattern repeating itself in your life, seize their operation
    * Let every battle that has followed you from year to year, end now
    * You shall never experience the same affliction again
    * What God has terminated in your life shall never be resurrected in your children's life
    * Let there be permanent victory over every affliction, in the mighty name of Jesus. Good Morning............

    MONDAY AUGUST 24, 2026

    THE STEPS OF THE GODLY

    A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"The LORD directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives." Psalm 37:23 BBE.

For you as a believing child of God, life becomes lighter, easier and more meaningful when you give the LORD God full control and allow Him to direct your steps (and stops too). Diverse experiences and frustrations arise not because God is absent, but because decisions are made without His guidance. When God orders your steps, He goes ahead of you to arrange outcomes, remove traps, and align (your) helpers (of destiny) along the way.

God is not only interested in your destination, but also in your journey first and foremost.
Every step matters, and some delays are divine protections, and some redirections are answers to prayers you did not know how to pray. What may look like a detour could be God preserving your destiny. Those who walk with God do not rush blindly; they move discerningly. David often inquired of the LORD before battle and never lost when he followed divine direction. When God orders your steps, even mistakes are redeemed, and losses are restored.

As you move forward, surrender your plans, pathways and pace to God. Endeavour to trust Him enough to lead, correct, and guide you, because any life ordered by God cannot end in confusion.

    PRAYER BULLETS:

Father LORD, thank You for the privilege of ordered steps. Lead me away from error and guide me into paths of peace and purposeful progress.

    FURTHER READING:

    Proverbs 3:5-6; Jeremiah 10:23; Isaiah 30:21; Romans 8:28.

  • LEP'S FAITH QUOTES: Easier to Criticize 8/24 Monday Meditation
I found most Christians did not want to take on a burden of prayer. It was too hard on the flesh. I was carrying this burden now in ever increasing volume, night and day. The ministry was intense... Most believers find it easier to criticize than to pray.

  • Are you allowing the devil to pull your strings. There is no temptation that God hasn’t given you a way of escape. Cut the strings!

  • NOTHING IS WASTED IN GOD’S HANDS!

Everything you have gone through is not meaningless. The mountain, the valley, the breakthrough, the delay, the tears, the laughter—God can use it all for your becoming!

Some seasons teach you through joy.
    Some lessons come through pain.
Some doors close because God is preparing you for a better one.
Some people leave because their assignment in your life is over.

You may not understand everything now, but one day you will look back and say, “Indeed, God was in the process all along!”

Your becoming is not an accident. It is a divine process. God is molding your character, strengthening your faith, deepening your roots, and preparing you for the purpose He has ordained for your life.

    So don't despise the process.
Don't give up in the valley.
Don't lose faith because of the delay.

What looks like a setback may be a divine setup!
What broke you may be what God uses to build you.
What you thought was the end may become the beginning of your greatest testimony.

Keep trusting God. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep becoming.

Your story is still being written, and the Author has not finished with you yet!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” — Romans 8:28

  • WHEN GOD PUTS A DESIRE IN YOUR HEART, DON’T GIVE UP TOO SOON!

Sometimes, waiting on God can be painful. You pray, you believe, you hold on, yet nothing seems to be changing.

It is hard to wait for something you desperately desire when you don't know whether it will ever happen. But sometimes, it is even harder to walk away when deep within your spirit, you still believe God is not finished!

Listen, child of God: delay is not denial. Silence is not abandonment. And waiting is not wasting.

There are promises God has spoken concerning your life that will require faith, patience, prayer, and perseverance. Don't let the length of the waiting season make you question the faithfulness of the God who gave you the promise.

If God gave you the vision, keep believing.
If God gave you the promise, keep praying.
If God gave you the desire, surrender it to Him.
And if He says, “Wait,” then wait with faith!

Your testimony may be taking longer than you expected, but that does not mean God has forgotten you.

What God has ordained for you will arrive in His appointed time.

Don't quit in the waiting room.
Don't bury your faith because of delay.
Don't let disappointment make you abandon your destiny.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting.
    Your “suddenly” can still come!

“Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3

  • When a brother or sister comes to you genuinely in need, and you have the means to help, telling them, “God will provide,” “I can’t help you, but I’ll pray for you,” while you have what they need, is not character of Christ.

Prayer is powerful, and we should always pray for one another. But sometimes God intends to answer someone’s prayer through us. We should not use spiritual words as an excuse to ignore someone’s genuine need when we are in a position to help.

    The Bible says:

“If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, be warmed and filled,’ without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?”
    James 2:15–16

    And again:

“Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.”
    Proverbs 22:9

    Jesus Christ also taught us:

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink…”
    Matthew 25:35

Christianity is not only about saying, “I will pray for you.” It is also about showing the love of Christ through our actions.

“Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
    1 John 3:18

If God has blessed you with the ability to meet someone’s need, don't always tell them to wait for God to provide. Sometimes, you are the provision God has placed in their path.

May our faith be seen not only in our words, but also in our compassion, generosity, and willingness to help.

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17
