"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." — Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) Faith means trusting God even when you cannot yet see the answer. It is believing that His promises are true, even when your circumstances seem difficult. Sometimes we pray for healing, a breakthrough, a new opportunity, or restoration, but nothing seems to change. Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that faith is choosing to believe that God is working behind the scenes, even when our eyes cannot see it. God has never failed to keep His promises. His timing is always perfect, and His plans are always for our good. Every delay has a purpose, and every trial can strengthen our faith. Don't give up because your breakthrough may be closer than you think. The Bible encourages us in 2 Corinthians 5:7"For we live by faith, not by sight."* We are called to trust God's Word instead of our fears or circumstances. God also promises in Jeremiah 29:11"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."Even when you don't understand what God is doing, you can trust that He is leading you toward His perfect plan. Finally, remember Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Today, choose faith over fear. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep moving forward. What God has promised, He is faithful to fulfill. Your season of waiting is not wasted—God is preparing something greater than you can imagine. Trust Him, because what is impossible with man is always possible with God.

Conflict and Courage. Esther 1:1-12 When the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded ... to bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on. Esther 1:10, 11. When this command came from the king, Vashti did not carry out his orders, because she knew that wine had been freely used, and that Ahasuerus was under the influence of the intoxicating liquor. For her husband's sake as well as her own, she decided not to leave her position at the head of the women of the court.37The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 3:1139. It was when the king was not himself, when his reason was dethroned by wine-drinking that he sent for the queen, that those present at his feast, men besotted by wine, might gaze on her beauty. She acted in harmony with a pure conscience. Vashti refused to obey the king's command, thinking that when he came to himself, he would commend her course of action. But the king had unwise advisers. They argued it would be a power given to woman that would be to her injury.38Ibid. However high their office, men are amenable to God. The great power exercised by kings, often leads to extremes in exaltation of self. And the worthless vows made to enact laws which disregard the higher laws of God, lead to great injustice. Occasions of indulgence such as are pictured in the first chapter of Esther, do not glorify God. But the Lord accomplishes His will through men who are nevertheless misleading others. If God did not stretch forth His restraining hand, strange presentations would be seen. But God impresses human minds to accomplish His purpose, even though the one used continues to follow wrong practices. And the Lord works out His plans through men who do not acknowledge His lessons of wisdom. In His hand is the heart of every earthly ruler, to turn whithersoever He will, as He turneth the waters of the river.39Ibid.

25-08-2026 The Lord Is My Portion Lamentations 3:24 (AMP) “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” There are seasons when everything around us seems uncertain. Plans change, people may disappoint us, and circumstances can leave us wondering what tomorrow will bring. Yet in the middle of his sorrow, Jeremiah makes a powerful declaration: “The Lord is my portion.” A portion is what belongs to you—your inheritance, your provision, your security. Jeremiah was reminding his soul that even when everything else felt unstable, God Himself remained enough. Our hope is not ultimately found in what we possess, how successful we are, or how comfortable our circumstances may be. Our greatest treasure is the Lord. When He is our portion, we can face uncertain days with confidence because our future rests in His hands. Notice that the verse says, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” Hope is a choice to trust God's character even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Waiting on God does not mean He has forgotten us. Sometimes the waiting is where He strengthens our faith, deepens our dependence, and teaches us to trust His timing. Today, remind your soul: God is still my portion. God is still my inheritance. God is still my hope. Whatever you may be facing, you don't have to have every answer today. You can place your confidence in the One who holds tomorrow. Prayer Father, thank You for being my portion and my inheritance. When life feels uncertain, help me remember that I have everything I truly need in You. Teach me to wait patiently and expectantly for Your perfect timing. Strengthen my faith when I cannot see what You are doing. Let my hope remain firmly anchored in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - TUESDAY, 25TH AUGUST, 2026.* 🌟*ONLY BELIEVE!*🌟 📖 Scripture: “And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.” — Mark 5:37 (KJV) 🔥*Reflection – Stay Close to Jesus When Faith Is Tested* Mark 5:37 comes in the middle of the story of Jairus, whose daughter was critically ill. Jairus had come to Jesus believing that Jesus could help. But as they journeyed, the situation became even worse. Jesus strategically chose only Peter, James, and John among the twelve disciples to accompany Him as He continued toward Jairus' house. You may what to ask why the three among the twelve? This Show us that even among the elected or selected there are favourites and disciples who are more closer to Jesus than the others. Are you among the inner circle of Jesus? Immediately after this, Jesus would challenge the atmosphere of fear and unbelief with the powerful command: “Be not afraid, only believe.” — Mark 5:36 The lesson is powerful: when circumstances become more difficult, stay close to Jesus. There will be moments when circumstances appear to contradict what you have prayed for. There may be voices telling you that your situation is finished, your opportunity is gone, or your dream is impossible. But Jesus is still present. Today, choose carefully whose voice you listen to. Stay close to Christ. Let faith speak louder than fear, and let God's promises speak louder than discouraging reports. 🔊*Prophetic Declaration:* Today, I declare that I will remain close to Jesus Christ regardless of what happens around me. I shall not allow fear, bad reports, disappointment, or the opinions of people to separate me from my faith in God. I declare that when circumstances become difficult, my faith shall become stronger. When the situation appears impossible, I will remember that nothing is impossible with God. I reject every voice of hopelessness, fear, confusion, and discouragement that tells me to give up. I choose to listen to the voice of Jesus, who calls me to trust Him. Today, I declare faith over fear in every area of my life. I shall walk by faith and trust God's character even when I do not understand His process. Today, I refuse to surrender my hope. I refuse to call dead what God has not called dead. I refuse to give up on what God has instructed me to continue pursuing. I will not be afraid. I will believe. I will remain close to Jesus. I will trust God's timing. I will believe. Jesus has the final word over my situation.” 4️⃣ Guard your atmosphere: Be intentional about the voices, conversations, and content you allow to influence your faith. 5️⃣ Surrender one impossible situation: Give it completely to Jesus and refuse to carry it through anxiety. 6️⃣ Take one step of faith: Continue doing what God has placed in your hands, even if the final result is not yet visible. 7️⃣ End with worship: Thank God for His presence and trust Him with the outcome. 🔥*Prayer:* Heavenly Father, Thank You because You are greater than every situation I may face.
