*TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - SUNDAY, 23RD AUGUST, 2026.* 🌟*COME UNTO ME, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST*🌟 12th Sunday after Trinity | 4th Sunday in August. 📖 Scripture: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (KJV). 🔥*Reflection – Jesus Is Our Place of Rest* Life can become overwhelming. There are burdens we carry because of responsibilities, expectations, disappointments, unanswered prayers, family concerns, ministry demands, work, studies, and the uncertainties of tomorrow. Jesus does not tell the weary to struggle harder. He gives a gracious invitation: “Come unto me.” Christ does not promise that we will never face difficulties. Instead, He promises that when we bring our burdens to Him, He will give us rest. The rest Jesus gives is deeper than physical relaxation. It is the rest of a heart that knows it is no longer carrying everything alone. It is peace in the midst of pressure, confidence in the midst of uncertainty, and strength to continue when we feel weak. Today, whatever burden you are carrying, bring it to Jesus. Do not carry what Christ is asking you to surrender. Your burden may be heavy, but His grace is sufficient. 🔊*Prophetic Declaration:* Today, I declare that I come to Jesus Christ with every burden, concern, fear, and uncertainty in my life. THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SUNDAY AUGUST 23, 2026 STEADFAST UNTIL VICTORY A WORD FROM THE WORD: "So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures." 1 Corinthians 15:58 TPT. Faith is not only believing God for miracles, it's required steadfastly also when results are slow and answers seem to be delayed. Many believers start in faith but end up in the flesh, and unstable when pressure increases. Yet Scripture makes the call of God upon us to stand firm, that is to remain unmoved by situations, circumstances, opinions, and momentary setbacks. Steadfast faith is quiet but powerful. It is not given to panic, neither is it spasmodic or subject to mood swings. It does not quit or fluctuate with emotions. It is faith that remains rooted in God’s Word even when feelings disagree and situations resist. Those blessed with steadfast faith do not waste energy fighting fear, rather they stay and are focused on obedience. One undeniable product of steadfast faith is undeniable results. God is strengthening your spiritual footing, to give you undeniable and unshakable victory. May you not be distracted, and remain firmly focused until your victory manifests. When a calling feels overwhelming and the pressure begins to rise, it’s easy to question whether you’re enough. Drawing from Acts 13 and Paul, this devotional reminds us that God initiates the calling and sustains the work. Find peace in knowing the results are in His hands and discover the strength that comes from obedience.

Did you know? Joseph runs Potiphar's entire household, trusted with everything except one thing, his master's wife. And she wants him. Not once, the text says she propositioned him day by day. This wasn't a moment of weakness. It was sustained pressure, day after day, that Joseph resisted every single time. When she confronts him directly, Joseph doesn't just refuse. He explains why. How could he do this great evil, and sin against God? Not fear of Potiphar. Not fear of punishment. A line he wouldn't cross, because of who he answered to. Then one day, alone in the house, she grabs his garment. Joseph doesn't argue. He runs, leaving the garment behind in her hands. That garment becomes the evidence used to falsely accuse him. Joseph loses his position, his reputation, and his freedom, for doing the right thing. Scripture doesn't rush to rescue him. He sits in prison, for the crime of running from sin. Sometimes integrity costs you everything, before it costs you nothing.

Young people today are under a lot of pressure. The pressure to: Succeed quickly. Make money quickly. Get married quickly. Find a job quickly. Become famous quickly. Build a business quickly. Have life figured out in their 20s. You see your friends succeeding, travelling, getting married, buying cars, building businesses—and suddenly you begin to ask: “What am I doing with my life?” But everybody's journey is different. Galatians 6:9 “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Message to the Youth: Don't allow another person's success to make you give up on your own process. You need enduring grace to survive the season when: You have the dream but not yet the resources. You have the vision but people don't understand it. You have qualifications but no job yet. You started a business but customers are few. You are working hard, but progress seems slow. Grace helps you continue when results are not yet visible.

THE FIRE WILL NOT CONSUME YOU God Will Be With You in the Fire Key Scriptures: Isaiah 43:2; Daniel 3:16–27; Psalm 66:12 Life can sometimes feel like you’re walking through a raging fire—full of intense pressure, painful trials, rejection, disappointment, financial woes, or challenges that seem insurmountable. But here’s the good news: God doesn’t promise that you’ll never face the fire. Instead, He promises that you won’t have to face it alone. He reassures us, "When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee" (Isaiah 43:2). The fire may be very real, but it won’t have the final say in your life. Take the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were thrown into a fiery furnace for standing firm in their faith (Daniel 3:16–18). The king thought he would see them perish, but when he peered into the flames, he was astonished to find four men walking around unharmed (Daniel 3:24–25). God didn’t keep them out of the furnace; instead, He joined them in the fire. When they emerged, they were completely unscathed—not even a hint of smoke lingered on them (Daniel 3:27). Sometimes, God’s most profound presence is not in preventing the fire but in being right there with you in the midst of it. Your fire may be testing your limits, but it doesn’t have the power to consume you. What was meant to break you can actually become the very place where your faith grows stronger. Psalm 66:12 reminds us, "We went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place." Notice the phrase "through fire." You’re moving through it, not getting stuck there. Your trial has an end date. Your pain serves a purpose. Remember, your current situation doesn’t define where you’re headed. So, don’t give in to the pressure. Don’t let the heat of the moment shake your faith. Keep praying, keep believing, and hold tight to God’s promises. The fire might test you, but it won’t take you down. The flames may be all around, but remember, God’s presence is even closer. You’ll emerge from this stronger, wiser, and with a story that glorifies Him. Closing Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for being by our side in every fiery trial we encounter. When the flames rise and the pressure mounts, remind us of your promise that we will not be consumed. Lord, bolster our faith during these tough times. Grant us the courage of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to stand firm without wavering. Surround us with your presence in every challenging situation, and rescue us from every fire that the enemy has set to bring us down. Father, transform every trial into a powerful testimony. Let the fire refine us without destroying us, strengthen us without breaking us, and prepare us for the next chapter of your purpose. We declare: We will walk through the fire, but it will not consume us. We will come out stronger.

Three Angels Broadcasting Network Devotional A Wrinkled Wardrobe By Deborah Shaffer August 21st, 2026 “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 I have a love-hate relationship with my spring and summer wardrobes. I’m always excited to pack up my heavy winter garments and replace them with the light colorful fabrics of springtime. However, what I don’t like are the wrinkles. It doesn’t seem to matter how carefully I fold or hang them after washing, my wardrobe is plagued by ugly wrinkles—and that’s when I have to reach for that dreaded iron. It is one of my most hated chores! However, I know that without the pressure of this heated tool, those wrinkles will remain. The article of clothing will stay in its unsightly condition and will not be worn, rendering itself useless. That’s how it is for Christians, too. Even though we’re heaven-bound, we live in a world damaged by sin; and, at times, we allow it to contaminate our lives, causing ugly “wrinkles.” It’s at those times that the application of heat may be needed! Our Father knows exactly what it takes to get our wrinkles out. Pressure from the heat of trials—so unbearable when we’re going through them—may just be the exact thing needed to perfect us. The heat is not meant as punishment. The heat is a tool. Maybe we’re going through a time in our lives when we’re feeling the heat. We know we are God’s children, we have called upon Jesus for salvation, we follow after Him; but life is hard. Let’s not get discouraged. After the ironing is finished, we will be a beautiful garment—unwrinkled and pleasant to those around us.

🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 233 DATE: 21ST AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: RELY ON THE LORD ANCHOR SCRIPTURE2 Chronicles 13:18 (NKJV) “Thus the children of Israel were subdued at that time; and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD God of their fathers.” Devotional message: Scripture is filled with testimonies of men and women who placed their confidence entirely in God and experienced victory. Their strength was not in their human ability, resources, experience, or influence; their confidence was in the Lord. Our anchor Scripture gives us a powerful explanation for Judah's victory: “They prevailed because they relied on the LORD.” Their victory was connected to their dependence upon God. Consider Jehoshaphat. When three nations came against Judah and the situation appeared impossible, he did not place his confidence in military strength. He sought the Lord. As Judah worshipped, God intervened and caused their enemies to fight against one another. What Judah could not accomplish through human strength, God accomplished through His divine intervention. We also see this principle in the battle against Amalek. Moses stood on the mountain with the rod of God, while Joshua fought below. As Moses lifted his hands, Israel prevailed; when his hands became heavy and came down, Amalek prevailed. Aaron and Hur therefore supported his hands until victory was secured. There are battles where our greatest strength is not what we can do, but our posture of dependence upon God. David lived by this principle. Before many battles, he inquired of the Lord. Even when he encountered Goliath, his confidence was not in his previous victories, weapons, or military experience. David understood that the size of the enemy could never be greater than the power of the God he trusted. Child of God, where is your confidence today?Perhaps you are facing an examination, a business challenge, difficulties in your marriage, a ministry assignment, financial pressure, opposition, or a situation that appears beyond your ability. Do not make yourself your ultimate source.Your education is valuable, but it is not your ultimate source.Your experience is valuable, but it is not your ultimate source.Your connections are valuable, but they are not your ultimate source.Your resources are valuable, but they are not your ultimate source. The Lord is your source.This does not mean that we abandon preparation, wisdom, diligence, planning, or responsible action. Rather, it means that we do all these things while depending upon God instead of depending upon ourselves. Our confidence is ultimately in Christ, who has already overcome the world.Therefore, when you rely upon the Lord, you do not enter your battles as someone fighting for victory—you enter knowing that Christ has already overcome. Make the Lord your King. Make Him your confidence. Seek Him before you move. Depend upon Him while you work. Give Him the glory when victory comes. And when you rely upon Him, you can face tomorrow with confidence, knowing that the God who was faithful to your fathers is still faithful today.
