(long post ahead📖) There is a profound lesson I learned when I read this passage of Scripture: “said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him. And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭14‬-‭15‬, ‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬ This passage takes place during Jesus’ trial. He was falsely accused of many things, yet we know that He was completely innocent. He had no sin. Everything He taught was truth, and everything He did, reflected the will of the Father. Jesus could have defended Himself. After all, He possessed the very nature of God. He had every power and every right to prove His innocence. Yet He chose to remain silent and willingly submit Himself to the Father’s plan. Even Pilate declared before the crowd that he could find no fault in Jesus. Herod found no crime worthy of death either. Still, the people refused to listen. Instead, they shouted louder, demanding that Jesus be crucified. This reminds me of a sobering reality: 😔 Even if God Himself stands before people and speaks the truth, there will still be hearts that choose not to believe. Miracles, truth, and evidence alone cannot change a heart that refuses to surrender. Then came the moment of decision. The people were given a choice: ❓❓Jesus Christ or Barabbas. ❓❓ One was completely innocent. The other was a guilty criminal. Yet the crowd cried out for Barabbas to be released, while demanding that Jesus be condemned to die. 😢 As I reflected on this, something deeply touched my heart. I realized that Barabbas is a picture of us. We are the guilty ones. ✅ We are the sinners. ✅ Yet Jesus took our place. The punishment that should have fallen upon us was placed upon Him instead. The Son of God willingly exchanged His freedom for ours. He left the glory of heaven and humbled Himself to be born in a manger. Though He is the King of kings, He did not come to be served but to serve. He walked among the poor, healed the sick, showed mercy to sinners, comforted the brokenhearted, and lived a life of perfect holiness without sin. Finally, He gave His life on the cross. ✝️ The release of Barabbas beautifully illustrates the Gospel. Barabbas deserved the cross. Jesus did not. Yet Jesus took the cross that belonged to Barabbas. In the same way, we deserve the punishment for our sins…..eternal separation from God. But Jesus took our place. (Inangkin Niya ang ating mga kasalanan at pinasan Niya ang kaparusahang nararapat para sa atin upang tayo ay maligtas.) That is the greatest picture of God’s mercy. And above all, that is the greatest picture of love. It was never the nails that kept Jesus on the cross. 🙏🏻 It was His immeasurable, unconditional, and unfailing love for us. 💚💚💚 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) (HAVE A NICE DAY PIP’z) 😇

Psalm 51:13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.  This verse demonstrates the change of heart David had after being confronted by the prophet Nathan about his affair with Bathsheba and for the murder of her husband Uriah (2 Samuel 11-12). After confessing his sins, David vows to guide others to repentance and back to God.  Not only do we see the changed David who is freed from the bloodguilt and extremely serious sins, but we see his desire to help others. He wants others to experience the renewed joy and forgiveness that he has received from the Lord. He did not let his failures define him. Instead, he used them as the basis for serving others and helping them to find reconciliation and forgiveness from God. Our testimonies hold great power (Revelation 12:11). We can hold our experience close to ourselves and refuse to share it with others or we can let God use it as a tool for reaching souls. God can use our personal experiences to help them see they are not alone in their sinful ways and that there is a way out.  This psalm is a personal prayer of David to God. It is him crying out to the Lord and repenting of his sins. He pleads to God to give him a clean heart and a renewed spirit. And he asks God not to banish him but to restore the joy of salvation.  It is after he receives mercy and grace from God that he vows to teach others. He made the vow that his mouth and tongue would be used to sing of God’s righteousness and goodness. He wanted his personal experience to be the catalyst to helping others seek God and repent of their own sins.  What about you? Do you hold your personal experiences close to your heart and hide them from others? Or do you use your transgressions as the means to helping people find forgiveness themselves? Many people try to hide their past sins, ashamed of what they have done. But as we already said, there is power in our personal stories and God can use them to help others repent and find forgiveness.  Don’t hide your story. Be open to allowing God to use you. Let Him work in your heart and through you to touch the lives of others and help transform them. Satan will whisper, ‘You’re on the pinnacle of success now, but you could easily fall off.’ He will bring up your past failures. He will remind you of leaders who crashed and burned. He will say, ‘If people realised how little you really know, or the issues you’re struggling with, they wouldn’t respect you.’ There are two kinds of fear: healthy fear and unhealthy fear. Healthy fear will keep you dependent on God; it will protect you from pride and self-sufficiency. ‘Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall’ (1 Corinthians 10:12 NKJV). But there’s an unhealthy fear that will keep you in the boat when Jesus is calling to you to step out and walk with Him on the water. You say, ‘But Peter almost drowned.’ Yes, but he was the only one of the disciples who experienced the joy of walking on the water! Having faith doesn’t mean you won’t experience a sinking feeling at times. You have a choice. You can give in to fear, or trust the God who has called you, sustained you, and never failed to give you the strength needed to cope with whatever you face. If your own intellect or talents are the basis of your confidence, you have good reason to fear. But if God is the basis of your confidence, you have nothing to fear. [21/08, 10:03 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* SATURDAY, 22ND AUGUST, 2026. *WANT TO BE A RESERVOIR OF DIVINE BLESSINGS?* *TEXT:* PSALM 1:1-6. 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. *Timeless Truth:*_"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God"_ (Deuteronomy 28:2). *INTRODUCTION* Every believer desires the blessings of God, but Scripture makes it clear that divine blessings are connected with the way we live, the company we keep and the delight we have in God’s Word. The text presents a sharp contrast between the righteous and the wicked. The righteous person is not merely blessed, occasionally; he becomes like a fruitful tree, continually supplied by divine grace. Furthermore, for the Old Testament saints, the blessings of God and the God’s Covenants with the Patriachs were majorly earthly and material. However, for the New Testament saints, the blessings are majorly spiritual and heavenly, though, with earthly blessings and wealth embedded. The uniform testimony of the Scriptures is that in order to be blessed by God and even be a reservoir of divine blessings, we must deliberately, separate ourselves from ungodly influences, delight in God’s Word and remain spiritually rooted in Him. *1. The Conditions for Divine Blessings* a. Every creature of God enjoys the blessings of God in some shape and form. For example, the air we breathe is universal and the sunshine and the rain we enjoy are without discrimination though God has the power to do so if He wants. However, there are some blessings of God that are given to select few, in particular His children. They are multidimensional blessings including both physical, material, social and spiritual blessings, spanning through all human needs without exception. Receiving these blessings result into all round prosperity which is promised by God. *"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth"* (3 John 2). Apostle Peter summed up all these blessings as things that pertain to life and godliness. *"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises"* (1 Peter 1:3, 4a). These divinely provided blessings are even richer and deeper than what the Psalmist in the text was aware of. b. The psalmist begins by identifying what the blessed person does not do and what he does. He *"walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful"*. This describes progressive involvement with ungodliness. The blessed person carefully chooses his companions, conversations, character, contacts, connections and control. He is so much in love with the Word of God that he cannot stomach or endure anyone or anywhere the Word of God is being dishonoured. In an age where the demarcation between saints and sinners are being erased, he does not *"stand in the way of sinners"*. He separates himself from the worldly and sinful practices of sinners without being ashamed of standing for the truth and the right. His counsellors and guides in matters of conduct are not the ungodly, but godly people who take the Word of God and go to heaven very seriously. Positively, his delight is in the law of the LORD, and he meditates on it day and night. *Question* Based on the above, are you qualified for daily divine blessings? *2. The Clear Description of the Blessed* a. The description of a blessed man shows that it is pleasant and admirable to be a blessed man. Like a good tree bearing good fruits that are edible and profitable to man, the blessed man is not only blessed by God, he is also a blessing to others. As a good tree gives shade to people when the sun bites hard, the blessed person gives succour and shade to people when they are being bitten by the challenges of life. No wonder, the blessed person is compared to *“a tree planted by the rivers of water”*. The blessings of God are so real that he is never dried up. He remains fresh materially, spiritually and in all areas. Beyond that, he is *"planted by the rivers of water"* where the Word of God flows in his unceasing freshness. b. Such a person never runs out of grace, godliness and goodness. He *“bringeth forth his fruit in his season.”* His life produces visible evidence of God’s work. His leaves do not wither, indicating spiritual vitality even in difficult seasons. Furthermore, *“whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”* He is never a failure in family, business and spiritual ministry because he allows God to always guide his actions, endeavours and always commit them into God’s hands. It does not mean freedom from trials, but it means that a life rooted in God ultimately bears the fruit and accomplishes the purposes God intends. A reservoir does not merely receive water; it stores it for continue usefulness. Likewise, the blessed believer receives divine grace and becomes a channel through which God’s goodness reaches others. *Question* Is my spiritual life deeply rooted enough in God’s Word to remain fruitful in every season? Am I a blessing to others? *3. Cursed Destination of the Barbaric* The wicked are described as *“chaff which the wind driveth away.”* Agricultural chaff consists of the dry, scaly husks and small pieces of straw separated from cereal grains during threshing. It is lightweight, dry, scaly and easily blown away by the wind. It has no economic value. It lacks appreciable weight. It is just good for fire else it will be a nuisance. The ungodly are compared to chaff because they don't add any value to achieving the purpose of God on earth. They are only good for hell fire. Their life is not weighty in character and conduct, but lives on and lives for vanities of life. Those who reject God and persist in ungodliness may appear successful for a season, but their destination is destruction. b. *"The ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous"*. Their apparent strength and conscience cannot withstand divine examination. In fact, the judgment would be so fierce that *"the earth and the heaven fled away"* from the presence of God (Revelation 20:11). *“The LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”* *Question* Am I a chaff before God or wheat? The world constantly offers distractions such as ungodly advice, sinful pleasures, and shortcuts to success. But true blessing comes from delighting in God's word, staying rooted in His truth, and avoiding the influences that pull us away from Him.* *Like Jim Elliot, those who walk in obedience may face hardship, but they will ultimately flourish in God's purpose. Their lives bear fruit, even after them; their faith remains firm, and they find true peace in Christ. In contrast, those who reject God's ways may seem successful for a time, but in the end, their path leads to emptiness and destruction. As believers, we must be careful enough to walk circumspectly in the truth revealed in God's word. The path to blessing requires commitment to God's word and a refusal to compromise with the world. God showed His love to the children of Israel by turning the curse of their enemies into a blessing, and by warning them not to make friends with those who planned to curse or harm them. God knew that these enemies will not change from their selfish and bitter acts toward the children of Israel. They will always want to hurt them. That is why He commanded them not to relate with these enemies. *God does not permit us to make friends with ungodly, immoral and wicked people. They will draw us back to sin. What Think Ye of Christ? — Matthew 22:42 Jesus asked a question that every person must ultimately answer: “What think ye of Christ?” This is not merely a question about religion or history. It is the most important question of life and eternity. Who is Jesus to you? He is not merely a good man, teacher, or prophet. He is the Christ, the Son of the living God—fully God and fully man, the Lord and the only sufficient Savior of sinners. The question is therefore personal: Do you know Christ, trust Him, love Him, and submit to Him as Lord? Church attendance, religious knowledge, and good works cannot replace genuine faith in Christ. If you have never truly come to Him, turn from your sin and trust in Christ alone. He receives sinners who come to Him in faith. And for those who already believe, let this question continue to search our hearts: Are we thinking rightly of Christ and honoring Him with our lives? “What think ye of Christ?” — Matthew 22:42 May God give us grace to answer with the heart: “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Queenship of Mary The Feast of the Queenship of Mary is a celebration in the Catholic Church that honors Mary, the mother of Jesus, as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. This feast was officially established by Pope Pius XII on October 11, 1954, through an important Church document called an encyclical titled Ad Caeli Reginam ("To the Queen of Heaven"). The idea of Mary being a queen goes back much further in Christian tradition, but this feast made it an official part of Catholic practice. Title "Theotokos" – Mother of God One of the key teachings about Mary is that she is called the "Theotokos," a Greek word meaning "God-bearer" or "the one who gives birth to God." This title was given to her at the Council of Ephesus in 431 A.D., a significant gathering of Church leaders in the early Christian Church. The council proclaimed this title to affirm that Jesus is both fully God and fully human, and that Mary, as His mother, gave birth to the Son of God in human form. By calling her "Theotokos," the Church recognized her important role in the mystery of the Incarnation—when God became human in the person of Jesus. Queenship of Mary The concept of Mary as queen comes from the belief that since Jesus is the King of all humanity, His mother would naturally share in His kingship. What Does It Mean To Be Saved? To be saved means to be rescued by God from the penalty, power, and ultimately the presence of sin, and brought into a right relationship with Himself through Jesus Christ alone. The Problem: Why You Need to Be Saved All humans are born under the curse of Adam's sin. Because God is holy and just, sin separates you from Him and places you under His righteous judgment (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23). You cannot save yourself by being good enough, religious enough, or sincere enough. Your best works are like filthy rags before a perfectly holy God (Isaiah 64:6). What Salvation Is Salvation is God's act of rescuing sinners through the finished work of Jesus Christ. It involves several realities that happen together: Regeneration (New Birth): The Holy Spirit gives you new spiritual life. You are born again. Apart from this, you are dead in your trespasses and unable to seek God on your own (Ephesians 2:1-5, John 3:3-8). Faith and Repentance: You respond to the gospel by turning from sin (repentance) and trusting in Christ alone (faith). These are two sides of the same movement—turning from sin and to the Savior (Acts 20:21, Romans 10:9-10). Justification: God declares you righteous, not because of anything in you, but because Christ's perfect righteousness is credited to your account and His punishment for your sin is credited to Christ. You stand before God as if you had never sinned, clothed in Christ's righteousness (Romans 3:24-26, 2 Corinthians 5:21). Adoption: You are brought into God's family as a beloved child. This does not mean perfection, but it does mean a changed life—a growing hatred of sin, a growing love for God and His people, and a persistent faith that endures to the end (James 2:17, 1 John 2:3-6, Matthew 7:16-20). If there is no change at all, there is reason to question whether salvation has actually taken place. The Bottom Line To be saved is to be brought from death to life, from condemnation to justification, from slavery to sin to adoption as a child of God, and from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Christ. It is entirely a work of God's grace, received by faith, and it results in a life that increasingly reflects the supremacy of Christ. He did not remain the same person he was before meeting Christ. 📖 Luke 19:8 Zacchaeus responded by deciding to make things right and give back to those he had wronged. ❤️ Jesus did not reject him because of his past. ⚖️ Death and Life in Adam and Christ ✨ When the Apostle says: "As in Adam... so also in Christ," he is comparing death and life. The universality of death is met by the universality of life and resurrection in Christ. Even sinners attain resurrection with the saints, but not the resurrection of glory; rather, the resurrection of judgment. It is impossible for us to compare death and life; for comparison is not valid. We lost life through sin, but the restoration of life must be greater than its loss. This very reason is what makes us believe in the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Founder of life, the "Author of life" (Acts 3:15), and the Giver of life to all beings according to the divine revelation: "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men" (John 1:4). Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 ɴᴋᴊᴠ Salvation is offered to all, but not all are convinced they need to be saved. Saved from what, they might say? In Acts 16 we read of Paul and Silas chained in a prison, and they were being watched by a jailer who had been ordered to “keep them securely” (Acts 16:23). The jailer may not have had any visible chains, but he was the one in need of salvation, not Paul and Silas. The shackles of sin are very real, and apart from Christ we are all slaves of sin (Jn. 8:34). It took an earthquake for the jailer to come to his senses and ask the question, “what must I do to be saved?” Though they had not committed a crime, Paul and Silas had been beaten and thrown into prison while they waited for a verdict from the officials. In contrast, the jailer’s verdict had already been pronounced concerning his sin: the punishment was death. Yet he was allowed to continue his daily affairs until the execution of his sentence. What could be done to save him from this predicament? We are all guilty sinners wandering around at risk of reoffending, and the answer is the same for us as it was for the jailer: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31). There is coming a day when condemnation will fall on all those who have sinned, but there is “no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Rom. 8:1). Christ was the only sinless Person, and He took pity on us and offered Himself as a substitute, so that we might be set free. There is nothing you can do, but the only answer to your guilt is something that has already been done. The Lord Jesus Christ died so that you can have everlasting life: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (Jn. 3:17).
