1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

This verse is one that I was required to memorize when I was a child in the AWANA program. But it was not until I became an adult that I truly understood it and just how important it is.

Confessing our sins is the process of us acknowledging the sins in our life and accepting responsibility for our wrongdoing. We show that we understand that our actions are not correct and that God’s ways are better. And the result is the reassuring promise that our confession and repentance will be rewarded with forgiveness and we are purified of unrighteousness.

It is important that we understand that confession itself does not guarantee forgiveness. We are not earning forgiveness by confessing. Instead this verse is a reassurance of His love and goodness. If we confess, He forgives and cleanses us of unrighteousness because He is good and holy. He wants what is best for us and HE is what is best. But we cannot have fellowship with Him if sin is in our lives because sin separates us from God.

We sin daily. We sin multiple times every day. We have a sinful nature. If we claim we have no sin we are lying because it is in each of us. So we confess and choose to turn from sin to Him, to His truth, to His ways. It is a process that happens over and over again and again. And His forgiveness is a gift.

Spend a few moments now considering the sins you need to confess. You have them. We all do. Identify them, accept responsibility m and confess them to God and ask for forgiveness. And don’t continue doing the same thing you just confessed to. Choose to change and do better. Then go on with your day knowing that you’re being forgiven.

IN RETURNING AND REST SHALL YE BE SAVED …..Isaiah 30:15a

Have you been struggling? Are you feeling choked with load of sins ? Are you running from pillar to post ? have you been working with no results? Have you been enduring Toment from power of darkness? Have you been experiencing stagnation? Are you experiencing exploitation from/by the power of Darkness? Have you been trying all your effort to be free and freedom refused to come? Have you been to churches,Pastors,Prophets and you do not see desired results? Are you becoming tired of church and christianity(as a religion) because things are not changing for you even after you have changed churches because they can not change you? Are yor experiencing dissappointment and failure even as wise and as smart as you are?

If you are experiencing the above listed issues ,today the lord God Almighty is saying “IN RETURNING AND REST SHALL YE BE SAVED” Isaiah 30:15a, God is letting you to know that ,it is when you return to Him(God) is when you will be saved,it is only when you return to him that you will get HIS help,it is in returning to him that you will be free from generational curses and spells,it is in returning to him that you will be strong, it is in returning to him that you will achieve your ambitions,it is in returning to him that you will have the rest you are desiring.

Note: Returning to God is not only to be acquainted with a church nor it is to become follower of a pastor or prophet but have fellowship and relationship with God through genuiene repentance.

Repent of all your sins and come to Him through His son Jesus christ,Matthew 11; 28 says : Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest .

Repent from depending on your own understanding and depend on His ability and wisdom Proverb 3:5-6. Repent from living life that only give pleasure to Flesh, repent from immoralities.

Act like the prodigal son and return to God with your heart,Mind and soul Luke 15:17-24 who will give you the desired rest and pease of mind..

He is true to his word,come to him today,He will surely give you rest ,Give your life to Christ, submitt to his lordship today.

On a final note ,The lord God Almighty is urging you today to return back to Him and start experiencing rest .

Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
