Freedom From Anxiety l 1 Peter 5:7 l

A Prayer of faith and peace

"O Almighty and merciful Jehovah God,

Hold me up, for I have fallen. I am in great need of Your support right now. I am utterly broken and have fallen down. Psalms 37:24 and 145:14 say, 'The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.' O God, have mercy on me and hold me with Your righteous right hand, so that I may not be utterly ruined.

O Father, the burden of my sins and transgressions weighs heavily upon me; I cannot bear it alone. Your Word promises in Psalm 55:22, 'Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.' O Christ Jesus, You said in Matthew 11:28, 'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden.' Today, I bring this heavy burden of sin to Your cross. You were scourged for my transgressions; cleanse me and make me white as snow.

O Lord, the path of life is difficult, and I have stumbled at every turn. I am surrounded by the darkness of despair and sin. Yet, Your Word declares, 'The Lord is my light and my salvation' (Psalm 27:1). Dispel these shadows of darkness in the name of Jesus. As Psalm 119:105 says, 'Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.' Bring the new dawn of Your will into my life and lead me on the right path.

O Master, I cannot walk even a single step on the paths of this world alone; my strength is spent. If I try to rely on my own understanding..." ...I will surely slip and fall. I need the guidance of Your Holy Spirit." As it is written in Psalm 56:13, "You have kept my feet from slipping, that I may walk before You."

O Jesus, since I have fallen, hold me fast; sustain me by Your name. Amen.

O Heavenly Father,
Today, I lay all the worries, fears, sorrows, and burdens of my heart at Your feet. Lord, Your Word tells me—according to 1 Peter 5:7—to "cast all my cares upon You, because You care for me."

Lord, when I am overwhelmed by circumstances and wonder what the future holds, remind me of Your Word—Isaiah 41:10—"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God."

O Lord, do not let go of my hand, even during the sorrowful times of my life. When the path is unclear, when no one is by my side, and when I feel utterly alone, grant me the assurance—according to Psalm 23:4—that You are with me.

Lord Jesus, even if the world forgets me, and even if my own people forget me, I trust that You will never forget me. Your Word says that a mother might forget her nursing child, but You do not forget Your people. You have said—according to Isaiah 49:15-16—"See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands."

O Father, I entrust myself into Your hands. Teach me to rely not on my own strength, but on Your power. When I am weak, let Your power be revealed in my life, for Your Word says—according to 2 Corinthians 12:9—"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness."

Lord, no matter how difficult my circumstances may be, give me the faith to see Your glory. If the Red Sea lies before me and troubles surround me from behind, let me remember that the God who made a way through the sea in the time of Moses is the same God who can make a way for me today, just as described in Exodus 14:13-14 and 21-22. O God of Abraham, You are the One who fulfilled Your promise in Genesis 18:14, even in impossible circumstances. Therefore, I will not despair over my situation; instead, I will trust in the God who—according to Romans 4:20-21—can make the impossible possible.

O Lord, when I feel there is no way out, give me the courage to believe that You are walking ahead of me. Grant me peace when I am afraid. Let me experience Your presence when I weep. Lift me up when I fall. And when I grow weary, renew my strength with Your power, just as promised in Isaiah 40:31.

I entrust my life into Your hands, and I turn my
anxieties into faith, tears into prayer,
fear into trust, and my weakness into Your strength.

O Lord, lead me in Your grace every day. Reveal Your glory in my life and grant me such faith that, in every situation, I may say: "I am not alone, for my God is with me."

I need not fear, for He cares for me. Even if my hand trembles, He will never let go of it. Lord Jesus, walk with me through every valley of my life, sustain me through every storm, make a way where there seems to be no way, and reveal Your glory in every difficult situation.

Today, I cast all my cares upon You, for I trust that You care for me. I offer this prayer in the holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
