- One Touch Changes Everything!
Scripture: Matthew 9:20–22 (KJV)
"But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour." — Matthew 9:22 (KJV)
Thought The Day...
For twelve long years, this woman suffered. She had exhausted her strength, her resources, and likely her hope. According to Jewish law, her condition made her ceremonially unclean, forcing her to live isolated from normal life. Yet despite the pain, disappointment, and rejection, she refused to give up.
When she heard that Jesus was passing by, something awakened within her. She didn't need a public audience. She didn't need a title or recognition. She simply believed that if she could touch the hem of His garment, everything would change.
Her miracle began before her hand ever reached Jesus—it began with her faith.
"For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole." Faith speaks before the miracle appears. Faith believes before circumstances change. Faith reaches when others retreat.
When she touched Jesus, He immediately stopped. The crowd was pressing Him, but her touch was different. It was the touch of expectation. It was the touch of unwavering faith.
Jesus looked at her and called her "Daughter." He restored not only her body but also her identity. He replaced twelve years of shame with peace, healing, and acceptance.
The same Jesus still responds to faith today. Whatever has drained you emotionally, spiritually, physically, or financially is not beyond His power. Your breakthrough is not determined by how long you've suffered but by the One you're reaching toward.
Don't let your pain keep you from pursuing Jesus. Don't let your past convince you that your future cannot change. Reach for Him in prayer. Reach for Him through His Word. Reach for Him in worship. One touch from the Savior can accomplish what years of struggle never could.
Today, refuse to quit. Reach for Jesus with confident faith, because one touch from the Master still changes everything.
Prayer...
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the God who sees every hidden struggle and hears every silent cry. Just as You stopped for the woman with the issue of blood, I know You have not overlooked me. You know every burden I carry, every wound that has not healed, and every battle I have fought.
Lord Jesus, today I reach for You by faith. I believe that You are still the Great Physician, the Deliverer, the Restorer, and the Miracle Worker. Heal every broken place in my life. Restore what has been lost. Strengthen my weary heart and renew my hope.
Remove fear, doubt, discouragement, and every obstacle that tries to keep me from trusting You completely. Let my faith rise above my feelings and my circumstances. Help me to believe Your promises even when I cannot yet see the answer.
Thank You that my past does not define me and my pain does not have the final word. I receive Your peace, Your healing, Your joy, and Your strength today. I declare that my season of breakthrough has come because You are faithful to Your Word.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Declaration...
Today I declare that I will reach for Jesus with unwavering faith.
I declare that my circumstances will not silence my faith.
I declare that healing, restoration, and breakthrough belong to me through Christ.
I declare that every delay is giving way to God's perfect timing.
I declare that fear has no authority over my life because my faith is in Jesus Christ.
I declare that I am seen, loved, restored, and called a child of God.
I declare that what has held me back will no longer define my future.
I declare that one touch from Jesus is enough to transform my life, my family, my health, my finances, and my purpose.
By faith, I receive His wholeness, His peace, and His victory.
In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.0 Commenti 0 condivisioni 23 Views1

- THE LETTER F
THE LETTER F
FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
How are we to have fellowship with our father God, many of you have bad experiences with your fathers, some have been beaten by your father, some have been abandoned by theirs.
This verse taken at face value, maybe brings back bad thoughts to your mind, but it shouldn't.
This is not human fear, this is reverential fear. The whole focus of the book of Proverbs is to share the truth of this verse.
We need to remember, who God is and who we are, he is the creator of the universe, we are his created beings, sinful beings, who were alienated from him Ephesians 2, but those who are now sons and daughters of His.
Therefore, we can come not trembling and in terror, but in reverential fear, knowing exactly who God is, but knowing that God is our father, the best father.
We can come to the father with confidence Hebrews 10:19-25, yes with confidence, but with reverence.
We can come as little children, the parents in Luke 18:15, were bringing their children to Jesus, people tried to stop them, we are to come as little children humbly and childlike, running to the father, every need brought to him, every problem brought to him.
We are to come for communion with Him, in Luke 10:38-42, Mary had the best part, she was sat at the feet of Jesus.
He wants us to sit and learn of Him, for us to be teachable. I envy two people in scripture, those two guys on the road to Emanus, what a blessing that was to them, wish I could of been there.
We are to come continually, never stop coming to Him, everyday seek him, run to daddy. Fellowship with your father God is the best thing, spending one minute in his presence is like spending twenty four hours with anyone else, spending ten minutes in his word, is better than reading twenty books.
Run for fellowship with your father, come with reverential fear, knowing that He is God, but also that he opens his arms and wants you to sit at his feet and learn of Him.
He's waiting to welcome you, what's stopping you?
God bless you

- Daily Devotion — July 15 | Acts 9:40 (NKJV)
Seeking God First
When Peter was called to the home of Tabitha after her death, he did not rush ahead in his own strength. Before acting, he knelt and prayed.
Peter understood that true power comes from God. His first response was dependence upon the Lord rather than confidence in himself.
Believers often face situations that seem overwhelming. The temptation is to rely on our own wisdom, experience, or abilities. Yet God's Word consistently points us toward prayer as our first response.
When we seek God first, we acknowledge our dependence on Him and invite His guidance into every circumstance.
Reflection Questions
1. Is prayer my first response or my last resort
2. What situation do I need to bring before God
3. How can I grow in dependence upon the Lord
Prayer
Lord God, teach me to seek You first in every situation. Help me depend on Your wisdom and strength rather than my own. In Jesus name Amen.
Practical Application
● Begin each day with prayer
● Pause to pray before making important decisions
● Bring your concerns to God immediately
Takeaway Thought
Prayer positions us to experience God's power and guidance.

- Dear Father,
I love the Scripture that says, "And Jesus did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief." Although a few groups, such as the Unitarians, have questioned His divinity using this passage, arguing that if Jesus could not perform many miracles in certain places, then He must have been limited in a way that God is not. I believe this interpretation only proves they have missed the message this Scripture communicates.
In several other passages throughout Scripture, before healing a person, Jesus asks, "Do you believe?" In others, He heals them by saying, "Go; your faith has made you whole." Through this, He communicated the pattern by which supernatural occurrences on earth often manifest alongside the will and belief of man. The original translation communicates nothing about His inability, but rather His restraint. He did not perform many mighty works, not because He was unable to, but because of their unbelief.
This gives an answer to a question I have often asked: Why are the great supernatural occurrences recorded in Scripture not as prevalent today? I have also come across people who ask, "If God can do this, why would He not?" While on earth, Jesus was not trying to prove His divinity at all costs through the manifestation of miracles, and You surely are not doing so now. The pattern seems to be not so much that You produce signs to make us believe, but rather that our belief becomes the very atmosphere in which miracles are received.
Seeing that our experiences of Your supernatural backing are often a reflection of our faith, how great, then, is our belief?
