Lifeline Today Friday August 21 No Regret Also do not look with regret or concern upon your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours. Genesis 45:20 (AMP) Regret is the consequence of unresolved issues that fester in the soul. It saps the strength and keeps one from productivity and progress in the pursuit of purpose. Regret of the past is what brings reproach in the future. You must let go and let God! Yesterday ended last night. Today, it is more valuable to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret. Regret ‘looks’ back. Worry ‘looks’ around. Vision ‘looks’ up. Life can be understood backward, but it must be lived forward. Apostle Paul had reasons for regrets but learnt to focus on the future by “forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13). Dreams of the future are more valuable than the history of the past. This is your day. Wisdom Fountain: “There are no regrets in life, just lessons.” Prayer: Almighty God, I stand by the power of Your Spirit and break agreement with the spirit of shame, guilt, and constant looking back. Your Word says there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus, I claim that promise right now. Wash my heart clean. Help me to learn the lessons from my past without living trapped inside of it in Jesus’ name.

Psalm 116-118 I love the LORD! Why? Because He always hears my cries, and He always bottles every tear. This is a song of praise to the Lord Almighty regarding His steadfast love that endureth forever. I needed to read this today! This statement has defeated armies. "I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the LORD." How could I even think to despair with all the works God has done in my own life, resurrected, blood protected and I dare to fear what man can do? I am by no means untouchable, but my LORD fights for me. Whom shall I fear? My God is the Lord of Hosts. I have Him and armies of angels all around, I am not surrounded by the enemy, the enemy is surrounded by my God and His warriors. I'm done with the despair. I have the Holy Spirit. Jesus is in my heart and God is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. I have been set free from the chains that lies made, embraced the truth and I won't ever give up or give in, because my God is bigger than my problems. August 20th, 2026 Read; Romans 15:5-6 As we follow Jesus, the Spirit of God will bring us together. But being united is about a lot more than just getting along. Jesus prayed that we would all be one so that the world would know that God sent Jesus into the world as His Son (John 17). We want to be one so that when we praise God, it will bring Him honor. Unity isn't just a goal; unity is a way for the world to learn about Jesus. We also praise the Father, who sent Jesus to save us. Living for Jesus is all about bringing other people to Jesus and giving God the glory. Let's make unity our passion! Prayer I'm sorry for everything I've done and said that has hurt members of Your family or damaged the unity of Your Church. Great and Almighty God, Eternal Strength for all who call on Your name, I beg Your pardon. Bless me as I strive to do less of my own will, live for Your glory, and inspire others. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.

Devotion: Luke 10:19 Luke 10:19: “Listen! I have given you authority, so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the Enemy, and nothing will hurt you.” Thoughts: Accepting Jesus Christ as your Saviour and thus inviting the Holy Spirit into your life, you also gain power through God; power to face even the most daunting enemies and challenges. If you live your life in honor of God, if you understand that His presence in your life is a constant, you never need to be afraid again. Fear makes us weak, it makes us doubt that God can intervene in time to save us. If we stand firm in the knowledge that we have power through our belief in the Lord, if we face the future with courageous hearts, we can (and will) overcome any obstacle in our way. Fear gives the devil a foothold, he thrives on us being afraid and uses it against us. When we take our stand against evil, against the world, knowing that we are children of the Almighty; children with God-given power, even the devil and his minions will fall. Luke 10:17: “....Even the demons obeyed us when we gave them a command in your name." A word of warning, though, remember that with this power comes a warning: Luke 10:17: “But don’t be glad because the evil spirits obey you; rather be glad because your names are written in heaven.” Therefore you should accept our God-given power and use it to quench the human fear still lurking in our lives. In our commitment to God we can use this power to overcome even the darkest of enemies and do so to glorify His name. For it is only through Him that we can claim this power and only with His blessing that we can use it in our daily battle. Ask yourself: Are you ready to accept God's challenge and take up the powerful sword God gave you? Are you ready to trust in Him so that you can live a life to His glory, victorious agaist the treachery of the world? #Luke10 #Devotion #PowerofGod
