    Extending Grace
    The king said, is there not still someone of the house of Saul to whom I may show the [unfailing, unsought, unlimited] mercy and kindness of God? Ziba replied, Jonathan has yet a son who is lame in his feet. 2Samuel 9:3 (AMP)

    The grace of God has a vertical significance as a gift from Him. And like the Cross of Christ, there is also horizontal grace – our extending it to others. When we remind ourselves always of where God has brought us from, to where we are, we easily allow Him to take another person through us.

    Mephibosheth has zero personal appeal; but David stooped in grace. Like the late pastor and Bible scholar Donald Barnhouse said: “Love that goes upward is worship; love that goes outward is affection; love that stoop is grace.” To show grace is to extend favour or kindness to one who doesn’t deserve it and can never earn it. This is your day.

    Wisdom Fountain: "Be graceful in everything; in anger, in sadness, in joy, in kindness, in unkindness, retain grace with you!"
    Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the boundless grace You constantly pour into my life. As You have forgiven and accepted me, please grant me the strength and compassion to extend that same unearned grace, mercy, and patience to the people around me in Jesus’ name.

  • Lesley Sumrall :
    Smith Wigglesworth knew these pioneers who were British intimately. He knew the pioneers of Pentecostalism. He often ministered with the Jeffreys, Donald Gee, Howard Carter, T.B.
    Barratt of Norway, Stanley Frodsham, and most of the others I have mentioned.
    Of a truth, he was born in very favorable times, surrounded by unusual men who blessed and inspired one another. And, like many other great men, he came from a humble beginning. Much of this has been told in detail in Frodsham's books and in books by others about Wigglesworth .He was hardly known beyond his hometown of Bradford until he was forty-eight years old when he received the Pentecostal experience at Sunderland under the ministry of Episcopal Vicar Alexander Boddy and his wife. Until this time, Wigglesworth was a plumber and assisted his wife, Polly, in a mission. She did the preaching, and he greeted people at the door, passed out books, and counseled at the altar.
    From the time Wigglesworth was six years old, he helped support his family, first by pulling turnips then by working in a factory with his brother and his father. Because he was deprived of an education, he never learned to read until he was an adult. In fact, his wife taught him to read. In later years, he said that he never read anything but the Bible.
    Wigglesworth was converted at eight years of age at a Wesleyan Methodist Church. At ten, he changed to the Church of England and was confirmed. He was sixteen when he went to the Salvation Army. At twenty he moved to Liverpool to work. He won hundreds to Christ, particularly the poor children who lived near the docks. He fed them from his salary and preached Jesus to them.
    At twenty-three, Wigglesworth returned to Bradford, where he made his home for the remaining days of his life.
    There, he opened his own plumbing business and met the young lady who was to become his wife.
    Wigglesworth received healing from a ruptured appendix. As a result, he said that God gave him great faith to pray for people suffering with appendicitis. He began his healing ministry before he was baptized in the Spirit. He usually concluded his sermons by praying for the sick.
    Polly Wigglesworth died before her husband began to be well-known and to preach extensively in other countries. In his later years, he became one of the best-known evangelists in the Pentecostal movement.
    He was accused of being "rough" with people, but he was never accused of being weak in faith.
    Of course, I heard about him long before I ever met him.
    In Sidney, Australia, a pastor asked me, "Have you ever met Smith Wigglesworth?"
    I said, "Not yet. I'm on my way. I'm going to find him somewhere. I have heard of some of the miraculous things that happen in his unique ministry."
    The pastor said, "He was here in my city recently, and did we ever have a time! I took him to one of the fanciest restaurants to have lunch on Sunday. When we came into the restaurant, someone took his coat and hung it up for him. He looked around like an eagle. Only wealthy people ate in this restaurant. Instead of sitting down, he took a fork and began to hit the side of his glass with it. Bing! Bing! Bing! Bing!
    Everybody stopped eating.
    "Here was Wigglesworth, a handsome-looking man, beating his water glass. Then he raised his hand and said, 'Ladies and gentlemen, I have noticed since arriving here that none of you prayed over your food. You resemble a bunch of hogs to me. You just jump in and eat without giving thanks to the One Who provided it for you. Bow your heads, and I'll pray for you.'"
    The pastor told me, "I could have crawled under the table very easily and gotten out of the way so people wouldn't see me. Wigglesworth raised his hands and prayed for those people. Before we left the restaurant however, two families came over and got saved. Then I was ashamed of myself for not being as strong as Wigglesworth."
    Wigglesworth's ministry centered on salvation, healing, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He was strong in character and created his own atmosphere wherever he went.

    After receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Lord spoke to Wigglesworth to prepare a banquet for the poor, the lame, and the blind. He secured tickets and hired two people to
    go throughout the city and find the afflicted, the tormented, and the crippled and bring them to a supper he would provide at the mission.
    He often said the sight of those suppers was beyond description, and that this was the happiest time of his life. The mighty healings that took place during those times increased
    Wigglesworth's faith.

    During the 1920s, he came to America on severalevangelistic tours. The first time I heard any specific details of his ministry was in San Francisco before starting around the world with Howard Carter.
    I was preaching at the Glad Tidings Tabernacle, which seated more than three thousand people.
    People said to me, "Have you met Smith Wigglesworth?"
    I said, "No, not yet," and they told me he had been there in the same tabernacle where I was preaching. They told me of a cancer patient brought to the healing service.
    Wigglesworth went down the line, saying, "What'sup?"
    British-ese for "What is wrong with you?"
    When he got to this man lying on a bed wearing only a little hospital gown that tied in the back, Wigglesworth asked the doctor with the man, "What's up?"
    The doctor explained that his patient was dying of cancer.
    Wigglesworth asked, "Where is it?" and the doctor replied, "In his stomach."
    The evangelist promptly balled up his fist and hit the man in the stomach so hard the man appeared to die. His hands fell off the bed, and the doctor began to scream, "He's dead! He's dead!"
    He looked up at Wigglesworth and said, "You've killed him! The family will sue you!"
    Wigglesworth calmly looked at the doctor and said, "E's 'ealed." He talked with a Yorkshire accent, not pronouncing his "h's."
    He did not stop but kept on walking down the line praying. About ten minutes later, the man came down the line behind Wigglesworth on the platform. He had stood up, moved the doctor to one side, and was walking around in that funny little hospital gown with his backside hanging out before more than three thousand people!
    He did not have one thought for his appearance, however. He had his up hands over his head and was screaming, "I'm healed! I'm healed!"
    Even the doctor had developed faith. He was right behind the sick bed yelling, "He's healed! He's healed!"
    The man caught up with Wigglesworth and said, "I have no pain. I feel wonderful inside. I have energy I have not had for I don't know how long," but Wigglesworth never even
    turned around to look at him.
    He just said, "Well, thank God for it," and went on praying for people. It was no big surprise to Wigglesworth. He already knew the man was healed.

    That was the first time I had heard a detailed story of Wigglesworth's ministry, although I had heard about him since I was a small boy. After hearing this story, I thought, "Say! Someday I want to meet him."

    Then I went to New Zealand and Australia and heard more stories, including the incident in the restaurant, which only increased my desire to meet this man. When I met him I was not disappointed. He was just what I expected him to be from all that I had heard about him from the people of the nations I had visited, where he had conducted meetings.
    Some ministers found Wigglesworth too strong in faith, and that frightened them. Also, he was strong in rebuking them for not having any faith. I loved him and his attitude against sin and sickness. In fact, the stories had not been enough to really tell me what the man was like, nor can any book written about him do Smith Wigglesworth justice.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    MONDAY JULY 20, 2026.
    "WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR?"

    ‘Grey hair is a crown of splendour; it is attained by a righteous life.’
    Proverbs 16:31 NIV

    WE ALL live for something; the question is, what? Ben Patterson writes in ‘The Grand Essentials’: ‘I have a theory about old age…I believe when life has whittled us down, when joints have failed and skin has wrinkled and capillaries have clogged and hardened, what is left of us will be what we were all along in our essence. Exhibit A: a distant uncle. All his life, he did nothing but find new ways to get rich. He spent his [last years] very comfortably, drooling and babbling constantly about the money he had made. When life whittled him down to his essence, all that was left was raw greed. This is what he had cultivated in a thousand little ways over a lifetime. Exhibit B: My wife’s grandmother. When she died in her mid-eighties, she had already been senile for several years. What did this lady talk about? The best example I can think of was when we asked her to pray before dinner. She would reach out and hold the hands of those sitting beside her, a broad, beatific smile would spread across her face, her dim eyes would fill with tears as she looked up to heaven and her chin would quiver as she poured out her love to Jesus. That was Edna in a nutshell. She loved Jesus and she loved people. She couldn’t remember our names, but she couldn’t keep her hands from patting us lovingly whenever we got near her. When life whittled her down to her essence, all there was left was love…for God and love for people.’ What are you living for?

    *TRANSFORMING GRACE* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```TEXT:1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-31```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called" (1 CORINTHIANS 1:26).*_

    *In his book _Understanding Church Growth,_ The Christian writer, Donald McGavran, used the phrase "redemption lift" to describe the transformative power of the gospel on people's lives, especially their socioeconomic condition. A more recent work by Rodney Stark, titled, _America's Blessings,_ relying on sociological data, concluded that compared to less religious and nonreligious individuals, people of faith are better off. He believes that a person renewed by the gospel increasingly acts in a self-controlled and selfless manner, engages in less criminal behaviour and experiences higher marital happiness and lower divorce rates, while producing more and better-behaved children.*

    *In today's Bible passage, Apostle Paul believes that the gospel of Christ has positively transformed the lives of the Corinthian Christians. This is because God did not consider the smallness or stature of the Corinthian believers before saving them from the power of sin. Paul reminds the Corinthians of their humble beginning in the journey of faith and how God's transforming grace turned their lives around. God can make giants of anyone no matter his or her poor beginning.*

    *Paul believes that God usually does not apply worldly methods to spiritual things. "God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise" (1 Corinthians 1:27). The Bible is full of stories of people like the shepherd boy, David, who was brought from obscurity to the throne. Who would have imagined that a man like Zacchaeus would voluntarily surrender his loot to repair the financial damage done to many families? God transforms sinners to saints effortlessly so that no one will claim any credit for the changes in their lives.*

    *The Christian life is a new life where old things do not dictate our progress any more. This is a new life where redemption transforms us from weaklings to giants. The blessedness of knowing Jesus as Lord and Saviour transcends every limitation there might be in our lives, making us into spiritual giants who can effortlessly, gratefully sing, _"Amazing Grace"!_*

    *Retaliation is the act of harming someone because he or she has harmed us. Another word for it is revenge. Our text tells the story of the defilement of Dinah by Shechem and the cruel act of vengeance carried out by her brothers on Shechem, his father and the adult males in the land.*

    *According to Tim Lahaye, "Sadness and heartache always result when anyone disobeys God's command regarding sexual purity." Many people paid with their lives for the wrong done by one man.*

    *Two lessons can be learned from the story. One, Shechem's sin of fornication with Jacob's daughter, Dinah, brought him an untimely death. Sin brings death, physical, spiritual and eternal, if not repented of.*

    *Two, two wrongs cannot make a right; Jacob's sons took vengeance on Shechem and his family, including the whole city. They killed innocent males who had no involvement in the incident that led to their sister's defilement. This collective punishment is wrong.*

    *We should avoid retaliation and let God fight for us (Romans 12:19). Pray to be sanctified to forgive freely.*

    ```Key Verse:``` _*"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not" (John 1:5).*_
    An important aspect of life is influence. Each one of us has influence over someone in this world. It is obvious that the more you lead, the more opportunities for influence you will have. Both positive and negative influences have been recorded in the history of mankind. Good people have an effect on others for good, and bad people have some influence that turn out bad.
    Everybody is being influenced by someone or something no matter who you are, nobody is an island. We see it all around us; everyone is contributing something to influence others. The question is not if we will influence others, but rather what quality of influence we will generate in the lives of others.
    *As Christians, we should be positive influencers. We should influence others for Christ. Let others see Jesus in you, let them see Him in your attitude, lifestyle, behaviour, and from the way you treat others. Someday, we will stand before the Lord Jesus and give an account of how we spent our lives. It would be wise to live in such a way that the Lord is able to say, "Well done thou good and faithful servant!"*
    *UNMERITED CHOICE*
    *TEXT:* 1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-31.
    26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
    27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
    28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
    29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
    30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
    31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
    *Timeless Truth:*_"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast"_ (Ephesians 2:8,9).
    *INTRODUCTION*
    God is not partial for He is *"not a respecter of any"*. If God is partial, He will cease to be God. The voice of God is loud enough for every person, including the deaf, to hear. However, many close their ears to His voice that they might not hear. Of all the people who hear, only few respond. God cannot force anyone to respond for that will be contrary to His nature and plan of creating man as a free moral agent. Those who hear and respond appropriately are chosen and are called the chosen of God. *"Many are called few are chosen"*. Those who are chosen are those who are elected and those that are elected are those that are justified and those that are justified are those that are glorified. The call of God to salvation and eternal inheritance is a general appeal to all. Nobody merits that call. It is free for all. By implication and deduction, those who respond and take the needful action and get saved don't merit it either, and neither do they earn it by any means. Paul the Apostle gave the reasons why God did it so. *"That no flesh should glory in his presence"*. The wise, educated and enlightened cannot boast of their wisdom as the reason for their choice by God and neither can the foolish justify himself as to why they opted not to be saved. The door of salvation is open to all, the decision is left to individuals.
    *1.God's Unexpected Believers' Choice*
    a. If a great man is expected to choose those who will be his companion or marry, it is expected that he will look for the wise, brilliant, educated and resourceful people. However, God is looking for those He will make great and wise. The Corinthian believers were reminded to reflect on their own calling. Humanly speaking, not many of them were wise, influential or of noble birth. *"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: "*. They did not respond to the call of God because of their earthly wisdom, wealth, might and nobility; and as a result they were not chosen by God. Yet God deliberately chose the foolish, the weak, the lowly and the despised, who humbly responded to Him, to shame the wise and the mighty. *"And base things of the world, and things that are despised, hath God chosen, yea the things which are not, to bring to nought things that are"*. Those that are despised as nobody, when they chose God and His salvation are cleansed, glorified and gifted as children of God to reflect the glory of God, have the knowledge of His will and be carriers of His mighty power. God's method of choosing people is completely different from man's. While people often value social status, wealth, intelligence, and influence, God looks upon the heart and calls those who will depend entirely on His grace. To those people He imparts His grace and glory. His choice is not based on human qualification, but on His sovereign love and purpose.
    b. Who are the people Jesus Christ chose to be His disciples? Mostly, unlettered men who decided to respond to the call of Jesus Christ. They eventually, got transformed by Jesus Christ and became life changers, solutions to problems that are beyond men and became pillars in the present kingdom and eternal kingdom. This truth should encourage every believer who feels insignificant or overlooked. God's election demonstrates that His power is perfected in human weakness, ensuring that all the glory belongs to Him alone. Only the humble, the meek and the lowly, regardless of their status, are those that the gates of heaven will be opened to now and in eternity.
    *Questions*
    Do you appreciate that God's choice of you was based on His grace rather than your achievements?
    Are you depending on human qualifications more than God's enabling power?
    *2.Glorying Unexpected of the Beloved Chosen*
    a. "*Where is the boasting then?"* *"For if Abraham were justified by works (merit), he hath whereof to glory; but not before God"* (Romans 4:2).
    God's gracious choice leaves no room for human boasting. Salvation is entirely His work from beginning to end. Every believer stands before God solely because of His mercy and not because of personal merit. The Lord intentionally, excludes human pride so that all glory belongs to Him. As "*He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord*." The Christian's confidence is therefore, not in educational attainment, financial success, family background, or spiritual accomplishments, but in the Lord Jesus Christ who has accomplished redemption. Those who understand the grace of God remain humble, grateful and devoted to giving Him all the praise.
    b. No matter the spiritual height anybody has attained, no matter the gift of God a person has, humility and lowliness should continually, guard the mind of the person. *"That, no flesh should glory in His presence"*. *". For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? ?"*. If you are proud as if you earn your salvation, you are likely not to be saved or you have lost it.
    *Questions*
    Is there anything in your life that causes you to boast instead of glorifying Christ? In what practical ways can you glorify the Lord rather than yourself?
    *3. God's Unlimited Blessing Through Christ*
    Christ is God's complete provision and perfect solution for every believer.
    *"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption"* (1 Corinthians 1:30).
    Through Him we receive wisdom to know God's will being the Wisdom of God Himself (1 Corinthians 1:24). True, lasting and eternal wisdom only comes from Christ. Any human wisdom that does not have Christ as the source is foolishness and will not last. He only gives righteousness that will stand accepted before God and sanctification to live holy lives. No human effort can produce the true righteousness of God in man; only Jesus can. He only is the Redeemer from all sins and all evils. Everything required for salvation and victorious Christian living is found in Christ alone. Believers need not seek acceptance or spiritual completeness elsewhere because God has already provided every spiritual blessing in His Son. Therefore, our confidence, hope, strength and future are securely anchored in Jesus Christ.
    *Questions:*
    Are you relying fully on Christ as your wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption? Which aspect of Christ's provision do you need to embrace more fully today?
    *Prayer Points*
    1.Father, thank You for choosing me by Your grace; help me to remain humble and faithful to Your calling
    2.Lord, remove every form of pride from my heart and teach me to glory only in Christ.
    3.Heavenly Father, enable me to depend daily upon Christ for wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption
    4.Lord, enable all Your children and let our lives continually reflect Your grace so that others may glorify You through our testimony .
    *HYMN:* All things in Jesus
    *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 12-16.
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    [It is of] the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness. ⏤ Lamentations 3:22-23
    Begin each day with private prayer, with great earnestness. ⏤ George Whitefield
    Father, as the brightness of a new day comes to us, we pause to receive Your blessing. We want to make this a fresh start in our lives. We want to forget the past—our mistakes and sins, our sorrows, and our struggles.
    We begin this new day asking for the grace to live in a way that honors You and blesses the world.
    As we go about our tasks today, we ask for Your special presence with us. We hold onto Your promises. You’ve said, "As your days, so shall your strength be!" and "I am with you always, even to the end of the world!" We wait for these promises to be fulfilled. We need Your guidance and help at every step. We are weak, but You can make us strong to endure. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we can bring something of the love of Jesus to everyone we meet. We want to live in this world as those who belong to Heaven, carrying Heaven’s love in our hearts and Heaven’s light in our faces.
    Knowing our weakness, we cast our lives with all their burdens on You and ask You to keep us. Watch over each of us and bring us all together again this evening, if it is Your will. But if our circle is broken, if any of us are taken away from this earth, receive us into the Father’s house, where we will never have to leave.
    We pray for those who will have a hard day today—the poor, the sick, the tempted, those in the darkness of sorrow. Show Yourself to them in tender love.
    Hear our morning prayers. Keep us from all evil. Help us to faithfully do every duty. We ask all this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
    Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀🎀💝🎁🌺🌹 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY MONDAY JULY 20, 2026. "WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR?" ‘Grey hair is a crown of splendour; it is attained by a righteous life.’ Proverbs 16:31 NIV WE ALL live for something; the question is, what? Ben Patterson writes in ‘The Grand Essentials’: ‘I have a theory about old age…I believe when life has whittled us down, when joints have failed and skin has wrinkled and capillaries have clogged and hardened, what is left of us will be what we were all along in our essence. Exhibit A: a distant uncle. All his life, he did nothing but find new ways to get rich. He spent his [last years] very comfortably, drooling and babbling constantly about the money he had made. When life whittled him down to his essence, all that was left was raw greed. This is what he had cultivated in a thousand little ways over a lifetime. Exhibit B: My wife’s grandmother. When she died in her mid-eighties, she had already been senile for several years. What did this lady talk about? The best example I can think of was when we asked her to pray before dinner. She would reach out and hold the hands of those sitting beside her, a broad, beatific smile would spread across her face, her dim eyes would fill with tears as she looked up to heaven and her chin would quiver as she poured out her love to Jesus. That was Edna in a nutshell. She loved Jesus and she loved people. She couldn’t remember our names, but she couldn’t keep her hands from patting us lovingly whenever we got near her. When life whittled her down to her essence, all there was left was love…for God and love for people.’ What are you living for? Bible In A Year: Acts 24-25; Matt 11:1-9; Ps1; Pro 16:10-15. A more recent work by Rodney Stark, titled, _America's Blessings,_ relying on sociological data, concluded that compared to less religious and nonreligious individuals, people of faith are better off. He believes that a person renewed by the gospel increasingly acts in a self-controlled and selfless manner, engages in less criminal behaviour and experiences higher marital happiness and lower divorce rates, while producing more and better-behaved children.* *In today's Bible passage, Apostle Paul believes that the gospel of Christ has positively transformed the lives of the Corinthian Christians. This is because God did not consider the smallness or stature of the Corinthian believers before saving them from the power of sin. Paul reminds the Corinthians of their humble beginning in the journey of faith and how God's transforming grace turned their lives around. God can make giants of anyone no matter his or her poor beginning.* *Paul believes that God usually does not apply worldly methods to spiritual things. "God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise" (1 Corinthians 1:27). The Bible is full of stories of people like the shepherd boy, David, who was brought from obscurity to the throne. Who would have imagined that a man like Zacchaeus would voluntarily surrender his loot to repair the financial damage done to many families? God transforms sinners to saints effortlessly so that no one will claim any credit for the changes in their lives.* *The Christian life is a new life where old things do not dictate our progress any more. This is a new life where redemption transforms us from weaklings to giants. Many people paid with their lives for the wrong done by one man.* *Two lessons can be learned from the story. Everybody is being influenced by someone or something no matter who you are, nobody is an island. We see it all around us; everyone is contributing something to influence others. The question is not if we will influence others, but rather what quality of influence we will generate in the lives of others. *As Christians, we should be positive influencers. We should influence others for Christ. Let others see Jesus in you, let them see Him in your attitude, lifestyle, behaviour, and from the way you treat others. If God is partial, He will cease to be God. The voice of God is loud enough for every person, including the deaf, to hear. However, many close their ears to His voice that they might not hear. Of all the people who hear, only few respond. God cannot force anyone to respond for that will be contrary to His nature and plan of creating man as a free moral agent. Those who hear and respond appropriately are chosen and are called the chosen of God. *"Many are called few are chosen"*. Those who are chosen are those who are elected and those that are elected are those that are justified and those that are justified are those that are glorified. The call of God to salvation and eternal inheritance is a general appeal to all. Nobody merits that call. It is free for all. By implication and deduction, those who respond and take the needful action and get saved don't merit it either, and neither do they earn it by any means. Paul the Apostle gave the reasons why God did it so. *"That no flesh should glory in his presence"*. The wise, educated and enlightened cannot boast of their wisdom as the reason for their choice by God and neither can the foolish justify himself as to why they opted not to be saved. The door of salvation is open to all, the decision is left to individuals. *1.God's Unexpected Believers' Choice* a. If a great man is expected to choose those who will be his companion or marry, it is expected that he will look for the wise, brilliant, educated and resourceful people. However, God is looking for those He will make great and wise. The Corinthian believers were reminded to reflect on their own calling. Humanly speaking, not many of them were wise, influential or of noble birth. *"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: "*. They did not respond to the call of God because of their earthly wisdom, wealth, might and nobility; and as a result they were not chosen by God. Yet God deliberately chose the foolish, the weak, the lowly and the despised, who humbly responded to Him, to shame the wise and the mighty. *"And base things of the world, and things that are despised, hath God chosen, yea the things which are not, to bring to nought things that are"*. Those that are despised as nobody, when they chose God and His salvation are cleansed, glorified and gifted as children of God to reflect the glory of God, have the knowledge of His will and be carriers of His mighty power. God's method of choosing people is completely different from man's. While people often value social status, wealth, intelligence, and influence, God looks upon the heart and calls those who will depend entirely on His grace. To those people He imparts His grace and glory. His choice is not based on human qualification, but on His sovereign love and purpose. b. Who are the people Jesus Christ chose to be His disciples? Mostly, unlettered men who decided to respond to the call of Jesus Christ. They eventually, got transformed by Jesus Christ and became life changers, solutions to problems that are beyond men and became pillars in the present kingdom and eternal kingdom. This truth should encourage every believer who feels insignificant or overlooked. God's election demonstrates that His power is perfected in human weakness, ensuring that all the glory belongs to Him alone. Only the humble, the meek and the lowly, regardless of their status, are those that the gates of heaven will be opened to now and in eternity. *Questions* Do you appreciate that God's choice of you was based on His grace rather than your achievements? Are you depending on human qualifications more than God's enabling power? *2.Glorying Unexpected of the Beloved Chosen* a. "*Where is the boasting then?"* *"For if Abraham were justified by works (merit), he hath whereof to glory; but not before God"* (Romans 4:2). God's gracious choice leaves no room for human boasting. Salvation is entirely His work from beginning to end. Every believer stands before God solely because of His mercy and not because of personal merit. The Lord intentionally, excludes human pride so that all glory belongs to Him. As "*He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord*." The Christian's confidence is therefore, not in educational attainment, financial success, family background, or spiritual accomplishments, but in the Lord Jesus Christ who has accomplished redemption. Those who understand the grace of God remain humble, grateful and devoted to giving Him all the praise. b. No matter the spiritual height anybody has attained, no matter the gift of God a person has, humility and lowliness should continually, guard the mind of the person. *"That, no flesh should glory in His presence"*. *". For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? ?"*. If you are proud as if you earn your salvation, you are likely not to be saved or you have lost it. *Questions* Is there anything in your life that causes you to boast instead of glorifying Christ? In what practical ways can you glorify the Lord rather than yourself? *3. God's Unlimited Blessing Through Christ* Christ is God's complete provision and perfect solution for every believer. *"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption"* (1 Corinthians 1:30). Through Him we receive wisdom to know God's will being the Wisdom of God Himself (1 Corinthians 1:24). True, lasting and eternal wisdom only comes from Christ. Any human wisdom that does not have Christ as the source is foolishness and will not last. He only gives righteousness that will stand accepted before God and sanctification to live holy lives. No human effort can produce the true righteousness of God in man; only Jesus can. He only is the Redeemer from all sins and all evils.   • A Proposal to President Donald J. Trump for Global Christian Unity
    Dear President Donald J. Trump,
    Greetings in the precious and holy name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
    I pray that the grace, wisdom, and favor of Almighty God continues to guide you as you serve and influence millions of people throughout the United States and around the world. As a Christian leader and founder of Glorious Unity International, I write to respectfully share a burden that has been placed upon my heart regarding the future of the global Church and the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
    Many believers around the world have appreciated efforts to uphold Christian values, defend religious freedom, and encourage respect for the Bible in public life. In a time when faith is increasingly challenged by secularism, moral confusion, and spiritual indifference, any effort that honors the Word of God deserves recognition and support.
    However, I believe that the Lord is calling Christian leaders everywhere to embrace a larger vision—one that extends beyond national borders and denominational identities. That vision is the unity of the Body of Christ.
    The Bible teaches that all believers are members of one spiritual family. Although Christians worship in different churches, belong to different denominations, and follow different traditions, we are united by our faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, rose again from the dead, and offers salvation to all who place their trust in Him.
    The prayer of Jesus recorded in John 17 remains one of the most powerful appeals in Scripture. Before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed that His followers would be one, just as He and the Father are one. He declared that such unity would become a testimony to the world and would help people recognize the truth of the Gospel.
    Unfortunately, throughout history, divisions have emerged among Christians. Many of these divisions developed because of theological debates, cultural differences, organizational structures, historical events, and regional traditions. While many of these distinctions remain important to various Christian communities, they have often weakened the Church's collective witness before the world.
    Today, Christianity consists of thousands of denominations and independent movements. While many believers sincerely love Christ and faithfully serve Him, separation and competition sometimes prevent effective cooperation. This situation can hinder evangelism, reduce Christian influence, and create confusion among those seeking spiritual truth.
    The purpose of Christian unity is not to erase legitimate differences or force every church into one organizational structure. Unity does not require uniformity. Rather, biblical unity means mutual respect, cooperation, love, and recognition that all true believers belong to one Body under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
    Glorious Unity International was established with the conviction that Christians can work together while maintaining their individual identities and traditions. We believe churches can remain faithful to their convictions while building relationships that strengthen the broader Christian community.
    Our vision is simple yet profound: to encourage believers from every denomination, ministry, and nation to recognize one another as brothers and sisters in Christ and to work together for the advancement of God's Kingdom.
    The world today faces enormous challenges. Poverty, persecution, war, injustice, human trafficking, corruption, family breakdown, addiction, and spiritual darkness affect millions of people. These problems often exceed the capacity of any single church or denomination to address effectively.
    Imagine the impact of Christians around the world united in prayer, evangelism, humanitarian service, education, and community development. Imagine churches from different backgrounds cooperating to serve the poor, care for widows and orphans, support persecuted believers, and proclaim the Gospel in unreached regions.
    Such cooperation would produce tremendous spiritual and social benefits. It would demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways and provide a powerful witness to a divided world.
    Christian unity would also strengthen evangelism. When believers work together, resources can be shared, duplication can be reduced, and greater attention can be given to reaching those who have never heard the Gospel. Cooperation allows ministries to focus on their strengths while supporting one another in fulfilling the Great Commission.
    Furthermore, unity can help defend religious freedom. Around the world, many Christians face discrimination, hostility, and persecution because of their faith. A united Christian voice can advocate more effectively for the rights and protection of vulnerable believers.
    Unity also strengthens humanitarian efforts. Christian organizations already provide significant assistance through schools, hospitals, disaster relief programs, orphanages, and charitable ministries. Greater cooperation among these organizations could increase efficiency, expand outreach, and maximize impact.
    Another important benefit of unity is the promotion of peace and reconciliation. In many regions, Christians themselves have experienced division and conflict. By embracing biblical principles of forgiveness, humility, and mutual respect, churches can become models of reconciliation for society.
    Mr. President, throughout history, influential leaders have played important roles in encouraging dialogue, cooperation, and understanding among different groups of people. While spiritual unity ultimately depends upon the work of the Holy Spirit, respected public leaders can help create opportunities for constructive conversation and collaboration.
    For this reason, I respectfully encourage you to use your influence to promote discussions concerning Christian unity on a global scale. Such efforts could include encouraging gatherings of Christian leaders, supporting interdenominational dialogue, and highlighting the importance of cooperation among believers.
    The goal is not political control, denominational dominance, or institutional merger. The goal is simply to encourage Christians to focus on what unites them rather than what divides them. The foundation of that unity is Jesus Christ Himself.
    Many Christian leaders already recognize the importance of greater cooperation. Across the world, pastors, bishops, evangelists, missionaries, scholars, and ministry leaders are building bridges of understanding and partnership. These efforts should be encouraged and expanded.
    We believe the present generation has a unique opportunity to advance the cause of Christian unity. Modern communication technology enables believers from different nations to connect more easily than ever before. Conferences, online forums, educational programs, and international partnerships can foster relationships that were once impossible.
    The need for unity is particularly urgent because the world is facing increasing spiritual challenges. Many societies are moving away from biblical values. Young people are searching for meaning and purpose. Families are under pressure. Moral confusion is widespread. In such an environment, Christians must stand together to offer hope, truth, and compassion.
    A united Church can present a stronger testimony to future generations. Young believers need examples of cooperation rather than conflict. They need to see Christians loving one another despite differences and working together for the common good.
    Christian unity can also contribute to global missions. Billions of people remain unreached with the Gospel. Cooperation among churches and ministries can accelerate efforts to bring the message of salvation to every nation, tribe, language, and people group.
    In addition, unity can provide encouragement to suffering Christians. In many countries, believers endure hardship because of their faith. Knowing that Christians around the world stand together in solidarity can strengthen and inspire them.
    Glorious Unity International seeks to be a catalyst for this movement. Our mission is to encourage dialogue, build relationships, and inspire cooperation among Christian communities worldwide. We are committed to promoting biblical unity while honoring the diversity that exists within the global Church.
    We believe that Christian unity should be rooted in prayer. True unity cannot be manufactured through human effort alone. It must be guided by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the teachings of Scripture. Therefore, we encourage believers everywhere to pray for greater love, humility, wisdom, and understanding.
    We also believe unity requires servant leadership. Christian leaders must be willing to place the interests of God's Kingdom above personal ambition or organizational competition. By serving one another in humility, believers can demonstrate the character of Christ.
    The Apostle Paul repeatedly emphasized the importance of unity among believers. He urged Christians to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace and reminded them that there is one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all.
    These biblical truths remain relevant today. They remind us that our common identity in Christ is greater than our differences. While theological discussions and denominational distinctions will continue, they should never prevent believers from expressing mutual love and cooperation.
    Mr. President, I respectfully ask you to consider supporting initiatives that encourage Christian unity and cooperation around the world. Your voice has influence among millions of people, including many Christians who desire to see the Gospel advance more effectively.
    By encouraging dialogue, partnership, and mutual respect among Christian communities, you can help inspire a movement that strengthens the Church's witness and contributes to the spread of the Gospel.
    I also wish to share a personal conviction. Through prayer and reflection, I believe God has placed this burden upon my heart. I therefore humbly convey this message to you with sincerity and respect. My desire is not to promote any particular denomination or organization but to encourage the unity for which Christ Himself prayed.
    The world needs to see Christians demonstrating the love of Christ through unity. The Church needs renewed commitment to cooperation. Future generations need examples of believers working together to fulfill God's purposes.
    May this vision inspire leaders, pastors, churches, ministries, and believers everywhere to seek greater unity in Christ. May we learn to appreciate one another, support one another, and labor together for the advancement of God's Kingdom.
    As we look toward the future, let us remember that our mission is greater than our differences. We are called to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for those in need, defend truth, and glorify God.
    May the Lord raise up leaders who will encourage reconciliation, cooperation, and unity among His people. May He strengthen all who serve Him faithfully. And may the Church of Jesus Christ become an even brighter light in a world that desperately needs hope.
    Thank you for taking the time to consider this proposal. I pray that God grants you wisdom, strength, protection, and guidance in all your endeavors.
    May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always.
    Respectfully submitted,
    A Proposal to President Donald J. Trump for Global Christian Unity Dear President Donald J. Trump, Greetings in the precious and holy name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray that the grace, wisdom, and favor of Almighty God continues to guide you as you serve and influence millions of people throughout the United States and around the world. As a Christian leader and founder of Glorious Unity International, I write to respectfully share a burden that has been placed upon my heart regarding the future of the global Church and the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many believers around the world have appreciated efforts to uphold Christian values, defend religious freedom, and encourage respect for the Bible in public life. In a time when faith is increasingly challenged by secularism, moral confusion, and spiritual indifference, any effort that honors the Word of God deserves recognition and support. However, I believe that the Lord is calling Christian leaders everywhere to embrace a larger vision—one that extends beyond national borders and denominational identities. That vision is the unity of the Body of Christ. The Bible teaches that all believers are members of one spiritual family. Although Christians worship in different churches, belong to different denominations, and follow different traditions, we are united by our faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that He is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, rose again from the dead, and offers salvation to all who place their trust in Him. The prayer of Jesus recorded in John 17 remains one of the most powerful appeals in Scripture. Before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed that His followers would be one, just as He and the Father are one. He declared that such unity would become a testimony to the world and would help people recognize the truth of the Gospel. Unfortunately, throughout history, divisions have emerged among Christians. Many of these divisions developed because of theological debates, cultural differences, organizational structures, historical events, and regional traditions. While many of these distinctions remain important to various Christian communities, they have often weakened the Church's collective witness before the world. Today, Christianity consists of thousands of denominations and independent movements. While many believers sincerely love Christ and faithfully serve Him, separation and competition sometimes prevent effective cooperation. This situation can hinder evangelism, reduce Christian influence, and create confusion among those seeking spiritual truth. The purpose of Christian unity is not to erase legitimate differences or force every church into one organizational structure. Unity does not require uniformity. Rather, biblical unity means mutual respect, cooperation, love, and recognition that all true believers belong to one Body under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Glorious Unity International was established with the conviction that Christians can work together while maintaining their individual identities and traditions. We believe churches can remain faithful to their convictions while building relationships that strengthen the broader Christian community. Our vision is simple yet profound: to encourage believers from every denomination, ministry, and nation to recognize one another as brothers and sisters in Christ and to work together for the advancement of God's Kingdom. The world today faces enormous challenges. Poverty, persecution, war, injustice, human trafficking, corruption, family breakdown, addiction, and spiritual darkness affect millions of people. These problems often exceed the capacity of any single church or denomination to address effectively. Imagine the impact of Christians around the world united in prayer, evangelism, humanitarian service, education, and community development. Imagine churches from different backgrounds cooperating to serve the poor, care for widows and orphans, support persecuted believers, and proclaim the Gospel in unreached regions. Such cooperation would produce tremendous spiritual and social benefits. It would demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways and provide a powerful witness to a divided world. Christian unity would also strengthen evangelism. When believers work together, resources can be shared, duplication can be reduced, and greater attention can be given to reaching those who have never heard the Gospel. Cooperation allows ministries to focus on their strengths while supporting one another in fulfilling the Great Commission. Furthermore, unity can help defend religious freedom. Around the world, many Christians face discrimination, hostility, and persecution because of their faith. A united Christian voice can advocate more effectively for the rights and protection of vulnerable believers. Unity also strengthens humanitarian efforts. Christian organizations already provide significant assistance through schools, hospitals, disaster relief programs, orphanages, and charitable ministries.
