• Ridge City Church has come so far from the beginnings when we had to find a different place each Sunday to hold services. To renting a local American Legion hall for a few months, to a six month rental of a worn out old church building which had not been in use for five years. To where the church is now. A building capable of handling the ministry activities and to being accessible within a neighborhood where locals can actually walk to church.

    A building is not the main thing. You don't have to have a building to have church. But, it does make things a lot easier.

  • Psalms 91:3, 14-15 NIV Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

    Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great morning.

    Think about a fish in the waters. Does it knows when the fisherman puts a trap to fish it? Does it know when the kingfisher is watching to catch it and eat it? Indeed it survive under mercies. We are not different. Our enemy sets traps that we may not know. In this Psalm "Ps 91:3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence."

    The requirement is not your righteousness but love you got for God. He will rescue and protect you because you acknowledges His name. You'll call and He will answer and He will be with you amidst your trouble to deliver you and honor you. Sometimes you may find yourself locked in fowlers traps but God promises to be with you in all those troubles and deliver you.

    There's no better story than the story of Joseph to illustrate this. God was with Joseph in all trouble he had to face and at the end God honored him. I am assuring you brethren that continue believing, continue loving God , He will deliver you from all your troubles. Fear not when you feel abandoned, betrayed, jailed by circumstances or what not, keep believing in God who called you.

    Sing and worship in that place of torment like Saul and Silas. Lift your heart above your problems to God who called you. He is faithful, He is kind, He sees, He is mighty to save!

    Thank you God. Thank you for your Word. Deliver us LORD and honor us. In Jesus name. Amen.

    "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

    How often do we wake up dragging the weight, mistakes, or guilt of yesterday straight into a brand-new day?

    We carry the conversation we wish we’d handled better, the frustration we couldn't shake, or the goals we failed to meet—feeling like we’ve already started today behind schedule.

    But God doesn’t refresh His grace on a monthly or yearly schedule. He resets it every single morning.

    • Yesterday’s failures don’t cancel out today’s purpose.

    • Yesterday’s anxiety doesn’t get to steal today’s peace.

    • Yesterday’s stumbles were met with a grace that has already covered them.

    When you opened your eyes today, God wasn't looking at you with disappointment over what didn't go right yesterday. He was handing you a clean slate, fresh strength, and unwavering love for the hours ahead.

    Take a deep breath, drop what you couldn't fix yesterday, and step into today clean.

    2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
    3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
    4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

    9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:
    10 Who also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary.
    11 And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
    12 And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.
    13 And from thence we fetched a compass, and came to Rhegium: and after one day the south wind blew, and we came the next day to Puteoli:
    14 Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.
    15 And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.
    16 And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.
    17 And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
    18 Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in me.
    19 But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.
    20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
    21 And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.

    Verse:
    “Your heavenly Father knows that you need them.”

    Meditation:
    Your Father knows your needs even before you speak them.
    You are not forgotten, and your life is not outside His care.
    Sometimes He provides immediately; sometimes He teaches you to trust Him while you wait.
    His provision may come through unexpected people, opportunities, wisdom, or strength.
    Do not measure His love by what you have today—His care is greater than your present circumstances.
    When the Father is your Provider, you can face tomorrow without being controlled by fear.

    Prayer:
    Heavenly Father, thank You for knowing and caring for every need in my life. Help me trust Your provision and timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    John reminds us of the incredible love God has shown by calling us His children. Genuine faith is demonstrated through righteousness, obedience, and practical love for others—not merely through words.
    Isaiah 32
    Isaiah looks forward to the reign of a righteous King and the transformation that comes with God's Spirit. It points us toward a life marked by justice, peace, righteousness, and security in God.
