  • Good evening, brethren.
    1. Evening devotion for today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    THURSDAY 13TH AUGUST, 2026

    *SUB-THEME:*
    YOUTHS: VESSELS OF GOD'S GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    BE AN EXAMPLE TO OTHERS

    *TEXT:*
    1 TIMOTHY 4:11-16
    11. Command and teach these things.
    12. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
    13. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
    14. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
    15. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
    16. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

    *TOPIC:*
    BE AN EXAMPLE TO OTHERS

    *THE MESSAGE:*
In a society where individualism and humanism are emphasised, godly models become scarce. In today's text, Paul encouraged Timothy to stand out by being an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. He must accompany these qualities with sound doctrine and diligently live it out, for his salvation and that of others. These virtues should be lived out without compromise, regardless of one's age. Every believer, young or old, is called to live in a way that reflects Christ and inspires others to follow. Sadly, many young people today are influenced by vices, but Christians are urged to lead lives that model godly character. How is your testimony in your home, community, workplace, and church? Be a role model for Christ's kingdom.

    *REFLECTION:*
Set a good example for your peers.

    *PRAYER:*
Father, reform my character, in Jesus' name. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    2 TIMOTHY 2:21.
"If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be instruments for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work.

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    JEREMIAH 46-49.

    ED.ii. THE SABBATH

"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work." - Exodus 20:8-10

The commandment to keep the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments, so a commandment from the Lord God. The reason I am talking about this is because we live in an incredibly hectic time. Life is so much different compared to fifty years ago. Everything is to be done quickly and in a hurry. This is also because of the increase in science (see Daniel 12: 4). People no longer have peace in today's society. There is also a lack of rest time in the lives of many Christians.

    A gift from God

However, God has given us a day to rest. Exodus 16:29 states: 'The Lord has given you the Sabbath.' The Sabbath is a gift from God and has a holy purpose. Sabbath means to rest, to stop. Every now and then people have to rest from what they are doing. Otherwise you will overwork yourself and get a burnout. When God created heaven and earth, He rested. As His creation was not safe yet, God had a plan to secure His creation. God was able to rest only after Jesus had completed His work on Calvary and rose from the death on the first day of the week. This is why we Christians celebrate the Sabbath day on Sunday.

    Spiritual rest

There is something even more important though and that is our spiritual rest. In Hebrews 4:10 we read about a Sabbath rest for God's people: 'Anyone who enters God's rest also rests from their works, just as God did from His.'When you come to Jesus, you will get complete rest in spirit, soul and body. Every day is a Sabbath day for the Christian who is in Jesus Christ. If you are not at rest yet, go to Him who said: 'Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28).

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. ⏀ Isaiah 1:18

The best remedy for a troubled heart is to focus on God’s unchanging character. ⏀ Charles Stanley

O Lord, we bow before You in loving reverence. All our blessings come from You, and we praise You. We are sinful, and You are holy. We are not worthy to approach You, yet You have made a way for us to draw near to You with confidence, as children to a Father. Lord, cleanse our hearts as we come to You. Fill us with Your Spirit so that, renewed in the spirit of our minds, we may display all the virtues and graces of the Christian life in our daily walk.

We need Your cleansing tonight after the day's journey in this sin-stained world. Our feet have been soiled in the dust as we walked through the day, our hands have been stained with the evil around us, our lips have spoken words we should not have spoken, and our hearts have been made unclean by wrong thoughts, feelings, and imaginations. Cleanse us tonight. Wash us, and we shall be whiter than snow!

We have cares and worries that distract us at the end of the day. Help us to lay them all in Your hands and leave them there. Give us Your peace. Help us to cast our burdens on You and trust that You will take care of them. Make all things work together for our good.

Have pity tonight, O God, on this sorrowful, sinful world. Remember the poor and open the hearts of those who have plenty to help those in need. Look with compassion on the sick and give them relief or the patience to endure their pain. Comfort those who are in sorrow. Hear us in these evening prayers, we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  • MORNING ENCOUNTER
    (JLIM Daily Devotional)

    Thursday 13 August, 2026

    Topic: Keep Moving On

    Text: Philippians 3:13–14

    Memory Verse:
"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." (Philippians 3:13)

There are moments when the journey becomes difficult and the heart becomes tired. You may have failed, been disappointed, delayed, rejected, or wounded by the things behind you. But child of God, do not stop here. Keep moving on.

Paul understood that yesterday could not be allowed to determine tomorrow. He forgot what was behind and reached forward toward what God had placed ahead of him. Your past may explain where you have been, but it does not have the authority to decide where you are going.

Beloved, if you have fallen, rise again. If you have failed, learn and continue. If you have been delayed, wait on God without abandoning the journey. If you have been wounded, let Christ heal you while you keep walking. Do not allow yesterday's pain to steal tomorrow's purpose.

Sometimes the enemy wants you to keep looking backwardβ€”at your mistakes, disappointments, losses, and failuresβ€”until you forget that God is still writing your story. There is still something ahead of you.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep obeying. Keep serving. Keep pursuing Christ. Even when you cannot see the destination clearly, take the next faithful step.

The road may be long, but God's grace is sufficient for every step. You have not come this far to stop now. Keep moving on.

    Prayer:

Father, give me grace to keep moving forward. Heal every wound, forgive every failure, and strengthen me where I have become weary. Help me to leave the past behind and pursue Your purpose with renewed faith. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

    Reflection Thought:

What from my past is keeping me from moving forward into what God has prepared for me?

    THE CROSS OF CALVARY 🏽

    THURSDAY, 13TH AUGUST, 2026

    TEXT: ROMANS 5:6–11

    KEY VERSE:

Β«β€œBut God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” β€” Romans 5:8 (KJV)Β»

THE LOVE THAT BROUGHT JESUS TO CALVARY

The Cross of Calvary is the greatest demonstration of God's love the world has ever witnessed.

We were not saved because we were good enough. We were not rescued because we deserved it. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 reminds us that God's love reached us at our worst and made a way for us to be reconciled to Him.

At Calvary, Jesus did not merely die as an example of loveβ€”He died as our Substitute. He took the punishment that our sins deserved so that we could receive the peace and reconciliation that we could never earn by ourselves. 🏽

    THREE TRUTHS FROM THE CROSS

    CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY.

Β«β€œFor when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” β€” Romans 5:6Β»

Jesus did not wait until humanity became worthy. He came when we were helpless. His grace reached us when we could not save ourselves.

GOD'S LOVE WAS PROVED AT THE CROSS.
The Cross is God's declaration that His love is greater than our failure. Your past may remind you of your mistakes, but Calvary reminds you of God's mercy.

There is forgiveness at the Cross.
There is restoration at the Cross.
There is hope at the Cross.
There is reconciliation at the Cross. 🏽

WE ARE RECONCILED TO GOD THROUGH CHRIST. 🏽

Β«β€œFor if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son...” β€” Romans 5:10Β»

Sin separated us from God, but Jesus opened the way back to the Father. Because of Christ, we can now approach God with confidence, knowing that we have been reconciled through His sacrifice. 🏽

    TODAY'S REFLECTION

Never become so familiar with the Cross that you forget its value.

When you feel unworthy, look to the Cross.
When you feel condemned, remember the Cross.
When you are discouraged, remember His love.
When you are tempted to return to your old life, remember the price Jesus paid for your freedom.

The Cross is not permission to continue in sin; it is the power and motivation to live a new life for Christ.

    You were loved at Calvary.
    You were pursued at Calvary.
    You were reconciled at Calvary.
You were given hope at Calvary.

Therefore, don't take His sacrifice for granted. Live for the One who died for you.

    🏽 PRAYER

    Heavenly Father,
Thank You for demonstrating Your immeasurable love toward me through Jesus Christ. Thank You that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me.

Help me never to take the Cross for granted. When I remember my failures, remind me of Your grace. When I feel unworthy, remind me of Your love. When I am tempted, remind me of the price Jesus paid for my salvation.

Give me grace to live a life that honours the sacrifice of Christ. Let the power of the Cross transform my heart, my character, my words, and my actions.

May my life continually testify that Jesus Christ died for me and that I now belong completely to Him. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. 🏽

    CALVARY BLESSING

May you never lose sight of the Cross.

May the love demonstrated at Calvary strengthen your faith.
May His grace lift you when you fall.
May His mercy restore you when you are broken.
May His sacrifice inspire you to live holy.
And may your life become a living testimony of the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

    Walk in grace.
    Stand in faith.
    Live for Christ.
    Never forget Calvary.

    THE GOSPEL FROM CALVARY

    THURSDAY, 13TH AUGUST, 2026

    WATCH AND BE READY!

    TEXT: MARK 13:32–37

    KEY VERSE:

Β«β€œTake ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” β€” Mark 13:33 (KJV)Β»

In Mark 13, Jesus spoke to His disciples about the future, the troubles that would come, and His eventual return. He warned them not to be deceived and not to become spiritually careless. The message was clear: WATCH!

Jesus knew that the greatest danger would not only be persecution or false teachers, but also the danger of becoming spiritually asleep while waiting for His return.

He said, β€œTake ye heed, watch and pray.” The Christian life is not a life of spiritual relaxation. We must remain awake, faithful, prayerful, and prepared. 🏽

Jesus compared His return to a master who went on a journey and left his servants with responsibilities. The servants did not know when their master would return. Their responsibility was to remain faithful until he came back.

    THREE LESSONS FROM MARK 13

BE CAREFUL NOT TO BE DECEIVED.

Jesus repeatedly warned about deception. Mark 13:5 says:

Β«β€œTake heed lest any man deceive you.”»

Not everything that sounds spiritual is from God. Not every voice deserves your attention. Not every teaching agrees with Scripture.

    Know God's Word.
    Test what you hear.
    Stay close to Christ.
Do not allow deception to steal your faith.

    WATCH AND PRAY. 🏽

    Jesus said:

Β«β€œTake ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” β€” Mark 13:33Β»

Prayer keeps the believer spiritually alert. A prayerless Christian can easily become careless, distracted, and vulnerable.

Don't only pray when trouble comes. Build a consistent altar of prayer.

    REMAIN FAITHFUL UNTIL JESUS RETURNS.

    Jesus concluded:

Β«β€œAnd what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” β€” Mark 13:37Β»

    Notice the word: ALL.

This is not only a message for pastors, evangelists, or church leaders. It is a message for every believer.

Whatever assignment God has given you, remain faithful.
Whatever season you are passing through, remain faithful.
Whatever temptation you face, remain faithful.
Whatever happens around you, keep your eyes on Jesus.

    DON'T FALL ASLEEP SPIRITUALLY

The world may become increasingly distracting.
    People may become increasingly careless.
    Sin may become increasingly normalized.
But the child of God must remain awake.

Don't allow social media to replace your Bible.
Don't allow entertainment to replace prayer. 🏽
Don't allow the cares of life to replace your devotion to Christ.

    Jesus is coming again!

The question is not simply, β€œWhen will He come?”

    The greater question is:

THE CALVARY MINISTRY ONLINE ✝️ THE GOSPEL FROM CALVARY πŸ“… THURSDAY, 13TH AUGUST, 2026 🚨 WATCH AND BE READY! βœοΈπŸ“– πŸ“œ TEXT: MARK 13:32–37 πŸ“œ πŸ”‘πŸ“– KEY VERSE: Β«β€œTake ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” β€” Mark 13:33 (KJV)Β» In Mark 13, Jesus spoke to His disciples about the future, the troubles that would come, and His eventual return. He warned them not to be deceived and not to become spiritually careless. The message was clear: WATCH! πŸ‘€πŸ”₯ Jesus knew that the greatest danger would not only be persecution or false teachers, but also the danger of becoming spiritually asleep while waiting for His return. He said, β€œTake ye heed, watch and pray.” The Christian life is not a life of spiritual relaxation. We must remain awake, faithful, prayerful, and prepared. πŸ™πŸ½ Jesus compared His return to a master who went on a journey and left his servants with responsibilities. The servants did not know when their master would return. Their responsibility was to remain faithful until he came back. πŸ•ŠοΈ πŸ”₯ THREE LESSONS FROM MARK 13 1️⃣ BE CAREFUL NOT TO BE DECEIVED. ⚠️ Jesus repeatedly warned about deception. Mark 13:5 says: Β«β€œTake heed lest any man deceive you.”» Not everything that sounds spiritual is from God. Not every voice deserves your attention. Not every teaching agrees with Scripture. Know God's Word. πŸ“– Test what you hear. Stay close to Christ. Do not allow deception to steal your faith. 2️⃣ WATCH AND PRAY. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ‘€ Jesus said: Β«β€œTake ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” β€” Mark 13:33Β» Prayer keeps the believer spiritually alert. A prayerless Christian can easily become careless, distracted, and vulnerable. Don't only pray when trouble comes. Build a consistent altar of prayer. πŸ”₯πŸ› 3️⃣ REMAIN FAITHFUL UNTIL JESUS RETURNS. πŸ‘‘βœοΈ Jesus concluded: Β«β€œAnd what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” β€” Mark 13:37Β» Notice the word: ALL. ❀️‍πŸ”₯ 🌿 DON'T FALL ASLEEP SPIRITUALLY The world may become increasingly distracting. People may become increasingly careless. Sin may become increasingly normalized. But the child of God must remain awake. πŸ”₯ Don't allow social media to replace your Bible. πŸ“±βŒπŸ“– Don't allow entertainment to replace prayer. πŸŽ¬βŒπŸ™πŸ½ Don't allow the cares of life to replace your devotion to Christ. 🌍❌✝️ Jesus is coming again! πŸ‘‘β˜οΈ The question is not simply, β€œWhen will He come?” The greater question is: β€œWill He find me faithful when He comes?” πŸ™πŸ½ ✍🏽 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The believer who is watching for Christ will live carefully, pray faithfully, and serve diligently. πŸ”₯✝️ πŸ™πŸ½ PRAYER Heavenly Father, Thank You for the warning and instruction of Your Son, Jesus Christ. • Thankful Thursday Morning Prayer

β€œIt is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High.” β€” Psalm 92:1 (KJV)

Heavenly Father, on this Thankful Thursday morning, we enter Your presence with grateful hearts and praise upon our lips. Thank You for watching over us throughout the night and touching us with Your hand of mercy this morning. Thank You for the breath in our bodies, the strength to rise, and the blessing of seeing another day.
Before we ask You for anything, Lord, we pause to thank You for everything. Thank You for being our Savior, Protector, Provider, Healer, Comforter, and closest Friend. Thank You for loving us when we were difficult to love, forgiving us when we fell short, and remaining faithful even when our faith became weak. Your Word declares, β€œIt is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22–23).
Father, thank You for every prayer You answered and every blessing You released. Thank You also for the prayers You answered differently than we expected. We now understand that some closed doors were Your protection, some delays were Your preparation, and some disappointments were Your divine redirection. Thank You for what You allowed, what You prevented, and what You are still working together for our good.
Lord, forgive us for the times we complained about what was missing while overlooking what remained. Forgive us for focusing on our burdens more than Your faithfulness. Give us eyes to recognize Your goodness in the ordinary blessingsβ€”the food on our tables, clothing on our bodies, roofs over our heads, family and friends, moments of peace, and strength to keep moving forward. We may not possess everything we desire, but we thank You that β€œmy God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
Thank You for sustaining us through seasons we thought would destroy us. We have been wounded, but You healed us. We have been discouraged, but You strengthened us. We have experienced loss, but You comforted us. We have faced uncertainty, but You continued to guide us. When we could not trace Your hand, You taught us to trust Your heart. When our strength was gone, Your grace proved sufficient.
Father, we place this entire day into Your hands. Go before us and make every crooked path straight. Order our steps, guide our decisions, govern our conversations, and protect us from dangers seen and unseen. Cover our homes, families, workplaces, schools, churches, vehicles, finances, health, and everything connected to us. Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and bring every plan of the enemy to nothing.
Lord, bless every member of our family. Strengthen marriages, restore relationships, protect our children, encourage our seniors, and draw every unsaved loved one into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Bring peace where there is conflict, understanding where there is confusion, forgiveness where there is offense, and unity where division has entered.
Remember those who awakened this morning carrying silent burdens. Touch those battling sickness, chronic pain, cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, dementia, depression, anxiety, addiction, or any condition known or unknown. Give wisdom to doctors, nurses, caregivers, and medical professionals. Let Your healing power flow, for Your Word declares, β€œI am the LORD that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26).
Comfort every grieving heart and remind them that You are β€œa very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). Provide employment for those seeking work, financial relief for struggling households, shelter for the displaced, food for the hungry, and hope for those who feel forgotten. Open doors that no person can shut, and release resources from unexpected places.
Father, strengthen Your Church. Bless pastors, ministers, leaders, missionaries, and every servant laboring for Your Kingdom. Give them wisdom, integrity, endurance, and fresh anointing. Let our churches be houses of prayer, healing, truth, love, deliverance, and salvation. Help us not merely to speak about Your goodness but to demonstrate it through compassion and service.
Teach us to live thankfullyβ€”not only when life is easy, but also when the road is difficult. Your Word commands us, β€œIn every thing give thanks” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Therefore, we will thank You in the waiting, praise You through the struggle, and trust You in uncertainty. Our circumstances may change, but Your character never will. You are still good, still faithful, still sovereign, and still worthy of all our praise.
Let gratitude guide our attitude throughout this day. May our words bring healing, our actions show kindness, and our lives point others toward Jesus. Keep murmuring and negativity far from us. Place a new song in our hearts so that wherever we go, we carry Your peace, display Your joy, and testify of Your faithfulness.
We thank You in advance for today’s protection, provision, divine appointments, unexpected blessings, restored strength, and answered prayers. Whatever this Thursday brings, we will not fear, because You are with us. We will rejoice and say, β€œThis is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
In the mighty, matchless, and victorious name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
    Amen, Amen, and Amen!

    DECLARATION...

    THEME: UNDERSTANDING COVENANTS

    AUTHOR: PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE

MEMORISE: "Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;" Deuteronomy 7:9

    READ: 1 Corinthians 6:18-20
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

    MESSAGE:
To understand what a covenant is, it is helpful first to understand what a contract is, as it is a more familiar concept. A contract is a written and signed agreement between two or more parties which outlines the expectations and responsibilities of all the parties involved in an interaction. The moment a contract is signed, all parties involved are bound by it, and typically, the contract will outline the consequences of what will happen if any party breaches the agreement. Such consequences may include penalties, damages, and other similar outcomes.

A covenant is also a contract, but one that is signed with body fluids, mostly blood. This means that when body fluids, especially blood, are involved in a contract, a covenant has been established. For example, in Genesis 17:1-14, God entered into a covenant with Abraham, and to sign that covenant, every male that was born into Abraham's household was to be circumcised, beginning with Abraham himself, even though he was almost 100 years old at the time. A covenant is no joking matter, primarily because the penalty for breaking it is usually death. This is why today's teaching is very important.

When a man and a woman come together to exchange body fluids, particularly through sex, they are entering into a covenant. They may not know it, but they have become bonded with each other. This is why it is important for a husband and a wife to only have sexual relationships with each other, because the devil usually takes advantage of extramarital sexual intercourse to pass on demons between those who indulge in it.

Many years ago, a boy was barking like a dog and was brought to me for deliverance. When I investigated the matter, I discovered that he had been sleeping with a dog in his house. In other words, he had entered into a covenant with that dog, and the devil had obviously attacked him through that. In the same vein, when a fellow sleeps with someone who is not his or her spouse, certain things will be passed from that fellow to them, and you can be sure that they are not good things because the act that was committed was contrary to God's will.

Beloved, do not neglect the Almighty God's instructions about keeping yourself sexually pure. Do not allow the devil access into your life by engaging in illicit sexual acts. I pray that the Lord will continually empower you to overcome all forms of sexual temptation, in Jesus' name.

    KEY POINT:
Illicit sexual relations establish covenants that the devil can exploit.

    BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
    Jeremiah 31-32

HYMN 31: YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION
    1 Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin;
    Each vict’ry will help you some other to win;
    Fight manfully onward, dark passions subdue;
Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

    Refrain:
Ask the Saviour to help you,
    Comfort, strengthen, and keep you;
He is willing to aid you,
    He will carry you through.

2 Shun evil companions, bad language disdain,
    God’s name hold in reverence, nor take it in vain;
    Be thoughtful and earnest, kindhearted and true;
Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

    Chorus

3 To him that o’ercometh, God giveth a crown,
    Through faith we will conquer, though often cast down;
    He who is our Saviour, our strength will renew;
Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

TITLE: "WAIT FOR GOD'S TIMING AND NEVER GIVE UP"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Galatians 6:9 (KJV) "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

"God's promises may take time, but His timing is never late."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

There are seasons when we pray, work, wait, and wonder why the answer has not yet come. Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that God's vision has an appointed time. What God has promised may not happen according to our preferred schedule, but His timing is purposeful and certain.

The word "vision" represents what God has revealed or promised concerning His purpose. "Appointed time" reminds us that God has a specific season for its fulfilment. When Scripture says, "though it tarry, wait for it," we are being encouraged not to abandon faith simply because the answer seems delayed.

Waiting on God is not wasting time. It is a season of preparation, strengthening, character development, and deeper dependence on Him. Sometimes God is preparing the blessing; sometimes He is preparing us for the blessing.

Paul gives a similar encouragement in Galatians 6:9: "Let us not be weary in well doing." To become weary means to lose strength, enthusiasm, or determination. Life can make us tired, especially when we continue doing what is right without immediately seeing results. Yet God promises that "in due season we shall reap."

The phrase "due season" teaches us that harvest has a proper time. A farmer does not abandon the field simply because the seed has not produced fruit immediately. He continues watering, cultivating, and waiting. Likewise, our prayers, obedience, service, kindness, and faithful labour are seeds whose harvest belongs to God's timing.

The final instruction is powerful: "if we faint not." Do not quit at the point of breakthrough. Do not allow delay to turn into discouragement. Continue praying. Continue believing. Continue doing good. Continue trusting God.

Whatever you are waiting for today, place it in God's hands. His delay is not His denial, and His silence does not mean He has forgotten you. The vision will speak at the appointed time, and the harvest will come if you refuse to give up.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)

Psalm 27:14 (KJV) "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. God's promises have appointed seasons for fulfilment.

    2. Delays can be seasons of preparation rather than rejection.

    3. Faithfulness requires perseverance when results are not immediate.

    4. Those who continue doing good will eventually reap God's appointed harvest.

    5. Never give up simply because the answer has not yet appeared.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

Keep praying, keep doing good, and keep trusting God's timing without giving up.

    PRAYER

Father, give me patience to wait for Your appointed time and strength not to become weary. Help me remain faithful until I see the fulfilment of Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    DECLARATION

I will not give up. I trust God's appointed time. I will remain faithful, continue doing good, and reap my harvest in due season. God's promises concerning my life shall surely come to pass. Amen.

Thursday, 13th August, 2026 TITLE: "WAIT FOR GOD'S TIMING AND NEVER GIVE UP" ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S) Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Galatians 6:9 (KJV) "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." QUOTE TO REFLECT ON "God's promises may take time, but His timing is never late." DAY'S REFLECTION There are seasons when we pray, work, wait, and wonder why the answer has not yet come. Yet God promises that "in due season we shall reap." The phrase "due season" teaches us that harvest has a proper time. A farmer does not abandon the field simply because the seed has not produced fruit immediately. He continues watering, cultivating, and waiting. Likewise, our prayers, obedience, service, kindness, and faithful labour are seeds whose harvest belongs to God's timing. • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - THURSDAY, 13TH AUGUST, 2026.*

*YOU SHALL HAVE CONFIDENCE BECAUSE THERE IS HOPE*

    Scripture:
β€œAnd thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.” β€” Job 11:18 (KJV).

*Reflection – Hope Gives Us Confidence*

Job 11:18 reminds us that hope in God produces confidence and security. When our trust is placed in the Lord, we do not have to live continually controlled by fear about tomorrow.

There may be uncertainties concerning our future, family, ministry, work, business, studies, or personal plans, but the believer's confidence rests in the faithfulness of God. Our circumstances may change, but God remains constant.

Hope does not mean that we deny difficulties. Rather, it means that we face them knowing that God is with us and that our future is ultimately in His hands.

Today, lift your eyes above your present circumstances. There is hope. There is a future. There is a God who is able to sustain you and lead you safely through every season.

    *Prophetic Declaration:*
Today, I declare that I shall have confidence because there is hope. My future is not controlled by fear, uncertainty, or the plans of people; it is safely held in the hands of Almighty God.

I declare that every spirit of anxiety, discouragement, hopelessness, and fear concerning tomorrow is broken by the grace of God. I receive a renewed mind, a courageous heart, and unwavering confidence in the promises of the Lord.

Today, I shall rest securely because God is my Refuge and my Defender. I refuse to allow the challenges around me to steal my peace. The Lord shall give me grace to sleep peacefully, work faithfully, and live confidently.

I declare that my family shall have hope. My ministry shall have hope. My work and business shall have hope. My studies shall have hope. Every dream and legitimate aspiration that aligns with God's purpose shall receive fresh strength and divine direction.

I proclaim that every season of uncertainty shall give way to clarity. Every closed door that God does not want for me shall remain closed, while every door appointed by His perfect will shall open at the right time.

Today, I receive the courage to plan, build, work, pray, and pursue God's purpose with confidence. I shall not abandon my assignment because of temporary difficulties. I know that God is able to establish the work of my hands.

I declare that the Lord shall protect me from evil and surround me with His favor. I shall dwell in safety under His mighty hand. My going out and coming in shall be preserved, and His peace shall guard my heart and mind.

I proclaim that my tomorrow shall not be worse than today. By God's grace, I am moving forward into greater spiritual maturity, greater wisdom, greater fruitfulness, and greater opportunities to serve Him.

I declare that hope shall rise again in every area of my life. Where I have experienced disappointment, God shall give me renewed expectation. Where I have experienced delay, He shall teach me to trust His timing. Where I have experienced weakness, He shall renew my strength.

    I have hope.
    I have confidence.
    I have a future.
    I have a faithful God.
Therefore, I shall rest securely in Him.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

    *Action Steps for today:*
Begin your day by thanking God because your future is in His hands.

Read Job 11:13–20 and meditate on the connection between faith, hope, confidence, and security.

Declare: β€œI shall have confidence because there is hope. My future is secure in God's hands.”

Identify one area where fear has been controlling you and consciously surrender it to God in prayer.

Encourage someone who is discouraged today by reminding them that there is still hope in God.

Make one positive, faith-filled step toward a God-honoring goal you have been postponing.

End the day with thanksgiving, trusting God with everything concerning your future.

    *Prayer:*
    Heavenly Father,
Thank You because my future is in Your hands. Thank You for giving me hope even when circumstances appear uncertain.

Remove every fear, anxiety, discouragement, and hopelessness from my heart. Give me confidence to face today and courage to look forward to tomorrow.

Secure my family, ministry, work, business, studies, and every area of my life. Guide my decisions and order my steps according to Your perfect will.

Where I have experienced disappointment, restore my hope. Where I have experienced delay, give me patience. Where I have experienced failure, give me courage to rise again.

Help me to trust You completely and to remember that my life is not without purpose. Establish the work of my hands and lead me into the future You have prepared for me.

Because there is hope, I will not fear.
Because You are with me, I will not be shaken.
Because You are faithful, I will move forward with confidence.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

    *Blessing for today:*
May the Lord fill your heart with renewed hope and confidence today. May every fear concerning your future disappear, and may divine peace take its place.

May God secure your household, establish your plans according to His will, protect your going out and coming in, and give you courage to pursue your God-given purpose.

May every season of uncertainty become an opportunity to experience God's faithfulness. May hope rise again in every area of your life, and may your future be brighter by His grace.

There is hope for you. There is a future before you. God is not finished with you!

    Have confidence.
    Rest in God's promises.
    Keep moving forward.
Your hope is in the Lord.

Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, peaceful, and hope-filled day
    Shalom!
