    DARE TO FIGHT BACK!

Only Fools Accept Defeat Without Resistance!

    LEAD SCRIPTURE

    Judges 16:28 (KJV)

"And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God..."

    ---

    INTRODUCTION

One of the greatest tragedies of human existence is not merely to suffer loss, failure, oppression, limitation, affliction, or adversity.

The greater tragedy is to surrender to them without resistance.

Throughout Scripture, God never celebrated passive surrender to evil. Rather, He repeatedly raised men and women who dared to confront impossible situations by faith, courage, wisdom, and divine empowerment.

David refused to accept Goliath as Israel's permanent reality (1 Samuel 17:45-47).

Moses refused to accept Egyptian bondage as Israel's final destiny (Exodus 3:7-10).

Nehemiah refused to accept the broken walls of Jerusalem as normal (Nehemiah 2:17-18).

Esther refused to accept the extermination of her people (Esther 4:14-16).

Paul refused to allow prison chains to silence his ministry (Acts 16:25-34).

And Samson, though broken by his own mistakes, refused to die helpless.

    Blinded.

    Humiliated.

    Mocked.

Reduced to an object of entertainment.

Yet somewhere inside that broken man, the spirit of a fighter remained alive.

His final prayer was not a prayer of resignation.

It was a prayer of restoration.

    "Lord, remember me."

In that moment, Samson understood something profound:

A man may be wounded without being defeated.

A man may fall without being finished.

A man may lose battles without losing the war.

There comes a season in every life when Heaven demands a response:

    Will you surrender to adversity?

Or will you rise again and fight?

Because many of the battles confronting our generation are inherited battles.

    Poverty.

    Illiteracy.

    Corruption.

    Spiritual ignorance.

    Broken families.

    Moral decay.

    Leadership failures.

    Kingdom stagnation.

    Somebody must rise and say:

    "This struggle ends with me!"

    STRATEGIC WISDOM FOR ALL-ROUND VICTORY

    1. REFUSE TO ACCEPT DEFEAT AS FINAL

    Scriptures:

    - Micah 7:8
    - Proverbs 24:16
    - John 11:25

The righteous may fall, but they do not remain down.

Victory begins when a man refuses to surrender mentally.

    Wisdom:

The battle is never over until God says it is over.

    ---

    2. RETURN TO GOD AFTER EVERY FAILURE

    Scriptures:

    - Judges 16:28
    - Psalm 51:1-12
    - Luke 15:17-24

Samson's greatest victory came after repentance.

    David's restoration came after brokenness.

The prodigal son's restoration began with his return.

    Wisdom:

Failure is not fatal when it drives you back to God.

    ---

    3. IDENTIFY THE REAL ENEMY

    Scriptures:

    - Ephesians 6:12
    - 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
    - 1 Peter 5:8

    Not every battle is physical.

Many visible problems have invisible roots.

    Wisdom:

You cannot win a battle you fail to understand.

    ---

    4. FIGHT WITH DIVINE STRENGTH

    Scriptures:

    - Zechariah 4:6
    - Philippians 4:13
    - Isaiah 40:29-31

    Human strength has limits.

    God's strength has none.

    Wisdom:

The strongest warriors are those who lean on God's strength rather than their own.

    ---

    5. DEVELOP PERSISTENCE AND ENDURANCE

    Scriptures:

    - Galatians 6:9
    - Hebrews 10:36
    - James 1:12

Many victories are lost moments before breakthrough.

The race belongs to those who endure.

    Wisdom:

Persistence often succeeds where talent fails.

    ---

    6. LEAVE A BETTER WORLD FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

    Scriptures:

    - Psalm 78:5-7
    - Proverbs 13:22
    - 2 Timothy 2:2

Every generation owes future generations wisdom, opportunities, and foundations.

    Wisdom:

True success is not what you achieve but what survives you.

    ---

    7. MAKE YOUR FINAL SEASON YOUR FINEST SEASON

    Scriptures:

    - Judges 16:30
    - John 2:10
    - 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Samson's greatest impact came in his final hour.

    Paul finished his race well.

God often reserves remarkable victories for those who refuse to quit.

    Wisdom:

Your best chapter may still be ahead of you.

    ---

    WISDOM NOTES

    - A setback is not a burial ground; it is often a launching pad.

    - Some battles continue because too many people have accepted them as normal.

    - Never hand over to your children what God empowered you to conquer.

    - Courage is not the absence of fear; it is moving forward despite fear.

    - Giants do not disappear because we ignore them.

    - Every Goliath tolerated today becomes a greater threat tomorrow.

    - A fighter may get knocked down, but he always gets back up.

    - Heaven often partners with people who refuse to quit.

    - The future belongs to those who confront problems, not those who complain about them.

    ---

    FINAL THOUGHTS

    History remembers fighters.

    Not because they were perfect.

    Not because they never failed.

But because they refused to stay down.

Samson's story teaches us that one moment of renewed surrender to God can accomplish what years of wasted opportunities could not.

The enemy's goal is not merely to wound you.

His goal is to convince you that the fight is over.

    But Scripture repeatedly declares otherwise.

    David fought.

    Esther fought.

    Nehemiah fought.

    Paul fought.

And above all, Jesus Christ fought the greatest battle at Calvary and emerged victorious through His resurrection.

Therefore, refuse to surrender your destiny.

    Refuse to surrender your family.

    Refuse to surrender your calling.

    Refuse to surrender your generation.

    Fight in prayer.

    Fight in faith.

    Fight in wisdom.

    Fight in obedience.

    Fight in love.

    Fight in truth.

And when your days are done, let it be said of you:

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)

    ---

    PRAYER LINES

    1. O Lord, strengthen every weak area of my life and destiny!

    2. Father, restore every opportunity that failure has stolen from me!

    3. Every inherited battle assigned to destroy my generation, end now in Jesus' Name!

    4. Lord, grant me courage to confront every Goliath before me!

    5. Every spirit of defeat and resignation, loose your hold over my life!

    6. Father, empower me to finish every assignment You have entrusted to me!

    7. Let my latter victories exceed my former achievements!

    8. O God, make me a solution to the struggles of my generation!

    9. Lord, help me leave a legacy of faith, victory, and righteousness!

    10. I shall not die defeated; I shall finish strong and fulfill destiny in Jesus' Name!

    AMEN!

  • Good morning, brethren.

    1. Morning devotion for today.

    i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2026.
"THINKING AND ACTING LIKE JESUS (2)"
‘Grace and peace be yours…through the knowledge of…Jesus our Lord.’
    2 Peter 1:2 NIV

IF YOU think God’s love for you would be stronger if your faith was stronger, you are wrong. If you think His love would be deeper if your thoughts and actions were better, you are wrong again. Don’t confuse God’s love with people’s love. Their love increases with performance and decreases with mistakes. Not so with God’s love. He loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. Max Lucado writes: ‘When my daughter, Jenna, was a toddler, I used to take her to a park… One day as she was playing in a sandbox, an ice-cream salesman approached us. I purchased her a treat, and when I turned to give it to her, I saw her mouth was full of sand… Did I love her with dirt in her mouth? Absolutely. Was she any less my daughter with dirt in her mouth? Of course not. Was I going to allow her to keep the dirt in her mouth? No way. I carried her over to the water fountain and washed out her mouth. Why? Because I love her. God does the same for us. He holds us over the fountain. “Spit out the dirt, honey,” our Father urges. “I’ve got something better for you.” And so He cleanses us of filth: immorality, dishonesty, prejudice, bitterness, greed. We don’t enjoy the cleansing; sometimes we even opt for the dirt over the ice cream. “I can eat dirt if I want to!”… Which is true - we can. But if we do, the loss is ours. God has a better offer. He wants us to be just like Jesus.’

ii. THE FIGHT OF THE FAITH

"Fight the good fight of the faith." - 1 Timothy 6:12

The prophet Hosea reminded the people of their father Jacob when he warned them about being spiritual cowards. He told them that they were weak and passive. This enabled the enemy to repeatedly beat them. He reminded them how Jacob fought and conquered. The book Hosea 12:4-5 says: 'In the womb he (Jacob) grasped his brother's heel (Esau's); as a man he struggled with God… and overcame.'

    God's blessing

In Genesis 25 we read that Rebekah gave birth to twins. The strong, hairy Esau came first. Then the delicate Jacob was borne holding Esau's heel with his hand. When Hosea quoted this many years later, he wanted to tell the people that as a baby Jacob already had a spirit to fight and was hungry for the blessing from God. He was after the birthright and the blessing that came with it. He did not want wealth or any earthly possession. God is also looking for such people today.

Esau had something God hates in man: self-satisfaction. God loved Jacob and he was very blessed! When Jacob returned to his family at God's command, he had to confront his brother. Years before, Jacob had fled from him, after cheating Esau. Jacob poured out his heart to God (see Genesis 32).

While Jacob was in the midst of his crisis, you would think that God came to comfort him. On the contrary! God came to fight him. Jacob fought there against a Man who said: 'Let Me go… But Jacob replied: 'I will not let you go unless you bless Me'… Then the man said: '… you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome' (Genesis 32:26-28).

Yes, dear reader, we need fighters in the Kingdom of God. Believers who have been tested through the storms of life and have overcome the storms. If you want to receive God's blessing like Jacob, you cannot just sit and wait for it. There is a battle to win and that is the fight of the faith!

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    i. Morning Prayer

The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD [is] good to all: and his tender mercies [are] over all his works. ⏤ Psalm 145:8-9

God’s mercy is deeper than we can comprehend and reaches further than we imagine. ⏤ John Newton

O God, our Father, we praise Your name; we extol You; we worship You! You are great and greatly to be praised; Your greatness is unsearchable! One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts. We would speak of the glorious honor of Your majesty and of Your wondrous works. We would make known Your mercy.

You, Lord, are gracious and full of compassion—slow to anger and of great mercy. You are good to all—Your tender mercies are over all Your works. All Your works shall praise You, and Your saints shall bless You. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations. You uphold Your children who fall and raise up all those who are bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. You are near unto all who call upon You—to all that call upon You in truth. You will fulfill the desire of those who fear You; You also will hear their cry and will save them. You preserve all those who love You.

We thank You that we may have such assured confidence in You. May we have grace to live before the world, so as to prove our sincerity. Help us to keep the vows we made on Sunday when we went to Your sanctuary. May our weekday life be as good as our Sunday promises. The spirit is willing—we desire to live worthily; but the flesh is weak. Strengthen all good purposes in our hearts, and may we be enabled to live righteously in the world. We ask all, with the forgiveness of our sins, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • What About the Quiet Ones?

The world says: Perform your suffering to deserve compassion. Broadcast your kindness to prove it's real.

    But Jesus taught us differently.

He warned against the Pharisees who prayed loudly on street corners so everyone would see their righteousness. He told us to give in secret, to pray in private, to fast without announcing it. He saw the widow's two coins — the smallest offering — and said she gave more than everyone else because she gave from her heart, unseen and unwitnessed.

God's economy is backwards from the world's.

The quiet ones matter most. The people grinding through hardship without fanfare. The helpers who give anonymously. The people enduring in silence because that's all they have energy for. They don't trend. They're not rewarded with validation. They're just... trying to survive.

    But God sees them.

He doesn't need your suffering documented. He doesn't require proof of your compassion. He sees the invisible fighters, the silent givers, the people surviving without an audience.

"And your Father who sees in secret will reward you." — Matthew 6:4

"It is more blessed to give than to receive." — Acts 20:35

Your quiet endurance counts. Your unseen kindness matters. Your hidden strength is enough.

You don't have to perform to be worthy. You don't have to be seen to matter.

    Rest in that.

  • The Knotted Handkerchief

"All that she had.””—Luke xxi. 4.

John Eliot was a minister and a missionary, the first missionary to the American Indians.

It was away back in 1646. He met the Indians in the wigwam of Waban, a great man among the Indians, and John Eliot talked to them about the Gospel for three hours—a pretty long sermon—and when he had finished telling them about God’s great love for them, there were tears in many eyes and people tell us that Indians never cry; but that is not true. Indians are much like other people and it is a great pity that early in the history of our country there were not more men like John Eliot, who loved them well enough to
teach them about God, for then they would have been helpers and not hinderers in what we call the path of progress. The Indians were
strong and brave and made wonderful fighters in time of war, but if they had learned to love as they had learned to hate they would
have been equally strong to fight against sin as good soldiers of our Lord Jesus.

John Eliot taught hundreds of Indians to read and pray, and they loved him. It was in the state of Massachusetts that he lived and worked among his Indian people, and there they built a town and called it Noonatoman or “ Rejoicing”’—the name spoke their joy and happiness in hearing and knowing the Gospel.

Indian names are hard, queer names but John Eliot learned their language. Think of saying Noowamantammooonkanunonnash
when you try to tell people you “love” them, for that is the word for “love.” And they “loved” John Eliot. They could not help loving him.
He was kind to them. He called them his “ Praying Indians.”

He was kind to the poor whether they were Indians or white people, for he was the pastor of a little church where white people worshipped, as well as being a missionary to the Indians. One day the little church had paid him his month’s salary and knowing how kind and generous he was to the poor they had tied it up in a handkerchief and tied it as tight as they could. First the two opposite corners were tied in a knot and then the other two corners and then the ends were knotted and knotted, until they were too short to knot. It looked like a home-made baseball for a little boy.

On his way home he visited a family that was very poor. There was nothing in the house and the little children were hungry. The missionary prayed with them, but he was not satisfied to pray and leave. Out from his pocket in his coat-tail he drew his knotted handkerchief to give them a little money. First he tried to untie the knots with his fingers, then with his teeth, then with both his fingers and his teeth but he could not undo them. One wonders why he did not cut the handkerchief with his knife but I guess he did not think of that. Vexed and impatient because he could not untie the knots he gave the poor woman everything, money and handkerchief, knots and all, saying to her, “The dear Lord must have meant it all for you.” No wonder people loved him, and no wonder there were 3,600 praying Indians in his parish before God called him into rest. And this was the motto of his life :-—

    Through Faith in Jesus Christ
    Will do anything.”

The Knotted Handkerchief "All that she had.””—Luke xxi. Indians are much like other people and it is a great pity that early in the history of our country there were not more men like John Eliot, who loved them well enough to teach them about God, for then they would have been helpers and not hinderers in what we call the path of progress. Here's something you may not have heard if you don't live in Israel. Channel 12 in Israel is reporting something, and I need you to actually pay attention to this.
There are 200 Hamas terrorists trapped in a tunnel in Rafah. Israeli side of the yellow line. That's the ceasefire demarcation. Israel controls that territory. These fighters are cornered. No way out.
Israel could seal that tunnel. Wait them out. End it.
Instead, Israel is going to let them go back to Hamas-controlled Gaza. The condition is they surrender their weapons.
Drop your guns, go home, live.
Hamas. Their organization spent October 7th raping women at a music festival. Burning families alive in their homes. Shooting parents in front of their children. Kidnapping babies. They dragged mutilated bodies through Gaza while crowds celebrated and spit on the corpses.
Israel has 200 of them trapped. And they're offering them their lives.
Hamas still hasn't returned all the bodies of the hostages. During a ceasefire. And Israel is letting 200 living Hamas fighters walk if they disarm.
Think about that. Israel has enemy combatants cornered. Hamas. October 7th. And Israel is going to let them live. Let them go home. To their families.
The world spent 2 years screaming genocide.
And this is what genocide looks like.
Hamas had power over Israelis on October 7th and chose massacre. Israel has power over Hamas fighters and is offering mercy with one condition. Disarm.
That's who Israel is. That's who Israel has always been.
And if you can look at this and still call Israel genocidal, let's stop pretending this is about human rights or international law. You're just an antisemite who wants to destroy the state of Israel. And you found a narrative that sounds respectable.

    Topic:
    MIRACLE (27) By B.B.John

Let's examine the woman with the issue of blood, who got healed when she touched the hem of Christ's garment. For twelve years, she had battled with the disease. She bled for twelve years.

The Bible didn't tell us what caused the abnormal blood flow. We were not told whether it was a bleeding disorders resulting from a broken blood vessel [hemorrhage], or a collection of blood outside of a blood vessel [hematoma], or a ceaseless menstrual blood flow [menorrhagia], or a pure demonic attack on the woman. Whatever it was made her discharged blood for 12 years. That's a dreadful life threatening health challenge!

Here are the eight facts to know about this woman and her health challenge:

    1. She fought for 12 years with the life threatening blood flows. We will face our own challenges in life and it will be good for us to learn how to be valiant fighters. (Matt. 9: 20, Mark 5: 25)

    2. It was perhaps the longest and toughest battle of her life. Even for us, a long time battle in life will be fierce and life chocking. (Matt. 9: 20; Mk. 5: 25-26)

    3. Before coming to Jesus, she had consulted with many physicians but all to no avail. Rather than being cured, her condition grew worse. Its a paradox of human efforts that fFlutility is earned when God isn't in the picture. (Mark 5: 26; Luke 8: 43)

    4. Her steps to miracle began with hearing - someone came and told her about Jesus and the mighty works He was doing. Our pathway to miracle always begins with the hearing the word of God. (Mark 5: 27)

    5. She believed the testimony she heard and, based on it, took a decision of faith. If we believe this same Jesus who did mighty works in the Bible can handle our own hard, stubborn cases, we will also get our needed miracles. (Matt. 9: 21, Mark 5: 28)

    6. Going by her decision of faith, all she wanted to encounter wayJesus' hem of the garment. We need a resolve of faith, that just a little contact with the Word and the Spirit will bring our desired miracle. (Mark 5: 28; Luke 8: 44)

    7. She acted on what she believed. Miracle comes when we act on what we believe. Faith still draws virtue out of Jesus for our healing. (Matt. 9: 20, Mark 5: 29, Luke 8: 44)

    8. After the outflow of virtue out of Him, Jesus declared her whole. When we dare to act first, He dares to ratify. He still speaks wholeness to those who dare to believe and act. (Matt. 9: 22, Mark 5: 30 - 34; Luke 8: 45 – 48)

    Daily Devotional

    April 20th

    Strong Joe Rollino.

On Monday, January 10, 2010, a minivan struck and killed a man crossing a Brooklyn street. This was especially tragic because this was no ordinary man. Joe Rollino would have been 105 on March 19, and according to friends he looked younger than 80 and was the model of health. A World War II veteran with three Purple Hearts, Rollino got his start in the 1920s at the Coney Island carnival, where he was billed as the “Strongest Man in the World.”

At the height of his career, he stood about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds. Pound for pound, Joe Rollino was one of the strongest men in modern times. He lifted 475 pounds with his teeth and moved 3,200 pounds with his back. But he was most proud of his finger strength—he once lifted 635 pounds with a single finger. At Rollino’s 103rd birthday party, a friend gave him a quarter, and Rollino bent it between his fingers—then apologized because he used to be able to do it with a dime!

Rollino was an avid exerciser. He walked 5 miles every morning, rain or shine. He swam in the freezing Atlantic every day for eight years, even during a stormy six-degree day in January 1974. Rollino was also a boxer. In a 2008 interview, 103-year-old Rollino said that he was simply born strong: “Fighters would hit me in the jaw, and I’d just look at them. You couldn’t knock me out,” he said.

Did I mention that Joe Rollino didn’t drink or smoke and was a lifelong vegetarian? If it weren’t for the car accident, this strong man might have become one of the oldest men in modern times as well. The Bible also makes a connection between a strong man and a unique diet: Samson followed the Nazirite custom of abstaining from alcohol and unclean foods. Would you like to live to be a healthy 100 years old? Anything is possible when we follow God’s health principles.
    KEY BIBLE TEXTS
Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: Judges 13:4
