Aug 25, 2026 11:00 pm God Listens to Your Prayers God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. —Psalm 66:19 It was a Saturday afternoon. I was chatting with a neighbor who was out for a walk with her daughter. She said something to the child, who put her hands over her ears. The lady said, “That’s what she does when she doesn’t want to hear what I’m saying.” It was a Sunday morning. I saw a lady approach the teacher as he gathered his class notes. He leaned in toward her, turned his head slightly (favoring his good ear, I’m guessing), and listened intently. She had his full attention. When you pray, God doesn’t cover his ears. He leans in and listens. He wants to hear what you have to say. “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer” (1 Pt 3:12). Talk to Him. Dear God, You’re great and mighty, full of love and everything good. I pray today that You calm my heart emotionally and physically. **Jesus Calls Everyone to Repentance and New Life** Peter From Sinner to Transformed Man Peter was an ordinary fisherman, living a simple life, when Jesus called him to become a "fisher of men" (Matthew 4:19). Even while walking alongside Jesus, Peter still carried his human weaknesses — impulsive, full of passions, and he even denied his own Master in a moment of persecution (Luke 22:54-62). But Jesus already knew this and interceded for him: *"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail"* (Luke 22:31-32). After the resurrection, Peter received the visitation of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4), and from then on he became a different man. So much so that, faced with the lie of Ananias and Sapphira, who deceived the Holy Spirit, Peter confronted them with authority — and both fell dead before God (Acts 5:1-11). A sign that God does not delight in falsehood among those who follow Him. Peter, now transformed, teaches us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19) and that those born of God live in holiness — without lying, envy, immorality, theft, or fraud (Galatians 5:19-21). **On sin and repentance:** - *"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"* (Romans 3:23) - *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins"* (1 John 1:9) - *"Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out"* (Acts 3:19) - *"I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live"* (Ezekiel 33:11) God does not desire the sinner's condemnation, but awaits their repentance and conversion with an open heart. He hears the prayer of those who sincerely seek Him.

2 Colossians 2:6-7 NASB Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, [7] having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. When we were born again, we were "firmly rooted." The foundation is secured, and we are safe in Christ. No one can pluck us up, because noone can ruin what the Lord has planted. Having eternal life, we now grow and mature in Him; "built up in Him." This confidence and reliance on Jesus alone for our salvation, and our continued right standing with God, is being "established in your faith." Having heard the gospel and now knowing we could do nothing to save ourselves, we are full of gratitude and thanksgiving for the things He has done. #grace #jesuschrist #faith #cross #gospel

1 Peter 1:3-12 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, [5] who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. [6] In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, [7] that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, [8] whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, [9] receiving the end of your faith-the salvation of your souls. [10] Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, [11] searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you. It is early this morning. My eyes are barely open. However, that usually makes for a very entertaining post with the wrong word choices, punctuation, and overall topic. Have you ever gotten an idea in your head that you could accomplish something in a certain way or amount of time and were determined to prove it could happen? You knew that all you had to do was stay focused, keep pressing on, and not allow a little thing like… oh, let’s say… nightfall stop you. That was me yesterday. The gent that I borrowed the mower from to mow my yard brought it back yesterday and I jumped on the opportunity to get the rental yard done and part of mine. In my mind, after I returned home from the rental, I had enough time to mow the back-back yard. Oh, let me tell you, I was really cooking too. I was getting her done. UNTIL. Yep, the sun was going down faster than I could push that mower. Yet, me … being me … said to myself, “Self, you can still see the last set of tire tracks for the return run … keep going.” I did this until I could barely see to get back to the house. Haha. Final verdict: NO, I did not finish that part of the yard, but I did get 98 percent of it done. The 2 percent that is still there, uncut … in the covering of trees and there was absolutely no light. As I am racing the sinking sun ball, I am thinking to myself two thoughts … 1. You should have known it was too late to get this done, and 2. I am going to get it and show everyone it was possible. Bouncing through the rough patches of the yard, moving as quickly and safely as possible, and still making the yard look good. I was determined. The closer I got to the finish line, the more excited I got that I would actually accomplish this particular task. I even mowed some of the tree-capped lane out of sequence because I knew it would be difficult to see. Hindsight, I should have done both sections of the tree-capped area; however, I did not. Thus, there is a small tree-capped area I need to finish today. When I finally gave up and put the mower away, I was actually excited to tell my little story of ‘how close’ I came. Then listen to everyone’s bets on whether I would keep going after the moon was fully in bloom in the sky. It made for a great story and giggle fest. Have you ever been in a situation when, though the time frame in which you really have to get something done is not as long as you thought, but you are determined to complete the task in that allotted time anyway? Did you make it and celebrate or did you fall a little short? If you fell short, how did you defeat? Myself, I made fun of the race I had with the sun and moon and created a fun story and memory. When we fall short of a goal, whether it's realistically capable or sketchy at best, how we handle the end result is the true prize. If success is in the air, do we boast to the point of arrogance, or do we boast to the satisfaction of a job well done? But if it is not success, do we sulk and find excuses or problems that were clouding the path to success … or … do we see the accomplishment and celebrate what we did accomplish? The result in our hearts is completely our choice. I did not look at the clock last night, when I returned from the rental property. If I had, I may have thought against the attempt to mow in the back part of the property. Why? I know how long it takes; I know when the sun is going to disappear, and I know the odds. However, I rolled the dice on a beautiful night’s temperature and chose to swing for the fences. The result: a nearly complete mowed back portion with only 5-10 minutes left. Today, as you go about your daily routines, think about how you are looking at your to-do list. Is it overwhelming or is it just a staircase that you will succeed at one step at a time … until you reach the top landing? When your day comes to an end today, how will you look at your to-do list? Was it a grand slam and everything got accomplished? Was it a triple down the first base line in the corner and nearly everything got accomplished? Was it a triple down the left-field line, nearly everything got accomplished, but it was a close play at the bag? Was it a bunt for a single or a sacrifice? In any one of these scenarios, you choose how you view the outcome. I suggest you view them all as victories and keep the overwhelming Light of Love in full view of your day. Be blessed. **Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

DAY 3 MISSION WEEK SERVANT OF GOD ARENA, KENYA COME BACK HOME The prodigal son had drifted far from his father. He had wasted his inheritance and found himself in a place he never imagined he would be. Yet, when he came to his senses and returned to his father, he discovered something beautiful: his father was still waiting for him with open arms. His father did not reject him. He welcomed him, embraced him, restored him, and received him again as a son. There is nothing our God cannot do. He is full of compassion, rich in mercy, and ready to forgive. Do not allow the enemy to convince you that you have gone too far to be forgiven. Take that one step today—just as the prodigal son did. Come to your senses. Confess your sins. Repent and return to the Father. The prodigal son thought he could only return as a servant, but his father restored him to sonship. In the same way, God is not merely calling you back to serve Him; He is calling you back into relationship with Him. The Word says: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV) His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23). *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - WEDNESDAY, 26TH AUGUST, 2026.* 🌟*HOPE IN THE LORD*🌟 📖 Scripture: “Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.” — Psalm 130:7 (KJV). 🔥*Reflection – Our Hope Is in the Lord* Psalm 130 is a cry from the depths, yet it moves from distress to confident hope. The Psalmist reminds God's people that their hope should not be placed in circumstances, people, possessions, or human strength, but in the Lord. Why can we hope in God? Because mercy belongs to Him, and with Him there is plenteous redemption. God does not merely have enough mercy for a few situations. His mercy is abundant. He is able to redeem what appears lost, restore what has been broken, and bring hope into situations that seem beyond recovery. Today, whatever you are facing, don't allow your circumstances to determine the level of your hope. Put your hope in the Lord. Your situation may change. People may disappoint you. Plans may fail. But God's mercy remains, and His power to redeem is unlimited. 🔊*Prophetic Declaration:* Today, I declare that my hope is in the Lord. I will not put my ultimate confidence in circumstances, human beings, possessions, or my own strength. My trust is in the Almighty God. I declare that the abundant mercy of God speaks over my life today. Where I have fallen short, may His mercy restore me. Where I have made mistakes, may His grace teach and redirect me. Where I have experienced disappointment, may His mercy renew my hope. I proclaim plenteous redemption over every area of my life. May the Lord redeem lost opportunities, wasted seasons, broken dreams, difficult experiences, and every situation that needs His restoring hand. I declare redemption over my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. May God bring restoration according to His perfect will. Today, I refuse to surrender to hopelessness. I will not allow yesterday's disappointment to determine tomorrow's expectation. I believe that God is still working, even when I cannot see the full picture. I declare that every season of waiting shall produce spiritual maturity, deeper faith, wisdom, and greater dependence upon God. I proclaim that the Lord shall renew my strength. When I am tired, He shall sustain me. When I am discouraged, He shall lift me. When I am confused, He shall guide me. When I am weak, He shall be my strength. Today, I declare that God's mercy shall follow me. His goodness shall surround me, and His favor shall accompany me wherever He sends me. I declare that no failure, disappointment, delay, or difficult season shall have the final word concerning my life. God's redemption is greater than my past, and His mercy is greater than my mistakes. I receive grace to wait patiently for God's intervention. I will not force doors He has not opened, and I will not abandon my faith because the answer has not yet arrived. My hope shall remain alive because the Lord is faithful. I hope in the Lord. I trust in His mercy. I believe in His redemption. I wait for His timing. I expect His faithfulness. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Trust Him to redeem your story. 5️⃣ Pray for someone who has lost hope: Ask God to strengthen someone who is going through a difficult season. 6️⃣ Practice patience: If you are waiting for an answer from God, refuse to allow anxiety to make you abandon faith. 7️⃣ End with praise: Thank God in advance for His mercy, redemption, and faithfulness. 🔥*Prayer:* Heavenly Father, Thank You because You are my hope and my Redeemer. I thank You because Your mercy is abundant and Your power to redeem is beyond measure. Lord, I place my complete hope in You today. Forgive me for the times I have allowed circumstances to become greater than my confidence in You. Let Your mercy speak over every area of my life. Where I have made mistakes, restore me. Where I have experienced loss, comfort me. Where I have become discouraged, renew my hope.
