The end of the age is not merely a matter of prophetic timing; it is also connected to prophetic obedience. Before the curtain falls upon human history, before the King returns for His Church, before Heaven closes this chapter of redemptive history, something must happen first: "And the gospel must first be published among all nations" (Mark 13:10). Jesus never instructed His Church to merely hold meetings, build cathedrals, organize conferences, or perfect religious systems. His final marching orders remain unchanged: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). Thus, the question is not merely: "When will Jesus come?" The greater question may actually be: "Why Heaven Waits?" Why has the Bridegroom delayed His appearing? Why has The Delay Of The Ages continued? Why does The Unfinished Mandate remain unfinished? The answer lies largely with the Church. The responsibility for world evangelization was not delegated to angels (Hebrews 1:14), nor to heavenly creatures (Revelation 4:6-8), but to redeemed men and women empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). The Church was not born merely to gather crowds. The Church was born to gather nations. The Church was not empowered merely for church growth. The Church was empowered for kingdom expansion. The Church was not commissioned merely to occupy territory. The Church was commissioned to disciple the nations. Therefore, there is a Condition for Conclusion. And until that condition is fulfilled, IT WILL NOT FINISH UNTIL WE FINISH IT! 🔥 WHY JESUS CHRIST TARRIES TO COME 1. The Church Has Lost Sight Of Christ's Original Vision Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47 The Great Commission has gradually been replaced with institutional maintenance, denominational competition, and internal activities. 2. Scarcity Of Labourers Matthew 9:37-38; Luke 10:2; Isaiah 6:8 The harvest remains plentiful, but labourers remain few. 3. Insufficient Commitment To Missions Funding Romans 10:14-15; Philippians 4:15-17; 3 John 5-8 Many admire missions. Few sacrifice for missions. 4. Cultural And Language Barriers Acts 2:5-11; Revelation 7:9; Matthew 24:14 Thousands of people groups remain unreached. 5. Spiritual Complacency Amos 6:1; Revelation 3:15-17; Hebrews 2:3 Comfort has replaced urgency. 6. Fear Of Persecution Acts 4:18-20; 2 Timothy 3:12; Matthew 10:28 Fear has silenced many witnesses. 7. Excessive Focus On Church Activities Acts 1:8; John 4:35; Luke 14:23 Programs often receive more attention than souls. 8. Love For The World Mark 4:19; 1 John 2:15-17; 2 Timothy 4:10 Worldly pursuits frequently choke missionary passion. 9. Lack Of Compassion For The Lost Matthew 9:36; Romans 9:1-3; Jude 22-23 Burdenless Christianity rarely produces evangelistic Christianity. 10. Denominational Divisions John 17:21; Psalm 133:1-3; Ephesians 4:3-6 Division weakens kingdom advancement. 11. Failure To Raise Successors 2 Timothy 2:2; Psalm 78:4-7; Judges 2:10 Many ministries survive one generation but fail to multiply. 12. Unfinished Territories Remain Romans 15:20-21; Isaiah 49:6; Revelation 5:9 Entire nations and tribes still await a Gospel witness. 🔥 WISDOM NOTES A Church that forgets evangelism has forgotten the heartbeat of Christ. Heaven measures success differently from men. Heaven counts souls while men count structures. The greatest investment on earth is not real estate but redeemed humanity. Every unreached people group is a standing reminder that the assignment remains unfinished. Many believers are preparing for Heaven while neglecting Heaven's greatest priority. The Church exists because the mission exists. One soul rescued from darkness is worth more than earthly treasures. 🔥 FINAL THOUGHTS The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is not merely a prophetic event. It is a missionary event. The cry of Heaven is not merely: "Prepare to leave the earth." The cry of Heaven is: "Finish the assignment before you leave the earth." One day, conferences will end. One day, denominations will fade. One day, church buildings will remain behind. One day, titles and positions will lose relevance. But every soul won for Christ shall shine forever. “THE TWO KINGDOMS — WHY GOD STRIPS THE OLD TO PREPARE YOU FOR PURPOSE” INTRO Family, today we’re going deep into a truth many believers feel… but very few understand: 👉 Why did life feel easier in the world? 👉 Why did it seem like I had more when I wasn’t serving God? 👉 Why does it feel like I lost things when I came to Christ? 👉 Why does God strip away the things I had before salvation? SATAN OPERATES LIKE A FATHER — BUT A CORRUPT ONE Jesus says something shocking: John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil…” If Jesus calls Satan a father, it means Satan tries to imitate the Fatherhood of God. But his system is corrupted, temporary, and destructive. ✔ In the world, Satan rewards the flesh – pleasure – money – comfort – relationships – success – pride Not to bless you… but to keep you serving him. He gives just enough to keep you blind. Just enough to keep you sinning. Just enough to keep you close to the world. It’s not love — it’s bait. WHEN YOU WERE IN THE WORLD, IT “LOOKED” LIKE YOU HAD MORE Many believers say: “Before Christ, I had a car, money, job… Now that I’m saved, things are harder.” Here’s the truth: ✔ When you were in Satan’s kingdom, he made life comfortable Not because he loved you. But because you were useful. He needed you in sin. He needed you in deception. He needed you distracted. It’s easy to live in the flesh because there is no spiritual resistance. But once you switch kingdoms, the battle starts. GOD DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO CARRY SATAN’S THINGS INTO THE KINGDOM This is the heart of your message today. When you get saved, God begins removing everything that came from the wrong source. Why? ✔ Because God refuses to build His Kingdom in you using Satan’s materials. This includes: • relationships • jobs • money • habits • opportunities • cars • friendships • environments God is not punishing you — He is purifying you. THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN — SPIRITUAL LEGAL GROUNDS This is the part most churches ignore. Satan is not only a deceiver, he is an accuser. Revelation 12:10 “The accuser of the brethren… who accuses them before God day and night.” Satan uses legal grounds open doors old agreements old attachments as evidence against you. ✔ If you keep the things he gave you, he claims ownership. He stands before God saying: “He still uses what I gave him when he was my child. I still have rights. I can attack him.” This is why God strips those things away. To close every open door. To break every legal claim. To shut down the enemy’s access. GOD REMOVES WHAT THE ENEMY CAN USE AGAINST YOU God takes away: • the devil’s gifts • the devil’s opportunities • worldly success • worldly attachments Not to hurt you, but to disconnect you from Satan’s kingdom completely. 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Come out from among them, and be separate…” God is cleaning the spiritual record. God is disconnecting you from spiritual traps. God is breaking every claim the enemy had on your life. GOD IS ALSO BUILDING YOUR CHARACTER THROUGH THE STRIPPING When you lose things after salvation, it’s not lack — it’s reformation. God is shaping: • your character • your faith • your obedience • your humility • your endurance • your spiritual authority Why? Because He is preparing you for purpose. Romans 8:29 “To be conformed to the image of His Son…” God is not focusing on your comfort — He’s focusing on your calling. CHILDREN ARE BORN FOR PURPOSE — EVEN JESUS HIMSELF You also mentioned the revelation God gave you about children. ✔ Children come into a family for a Kingdom purpose Not randomly Not by chance Psalm 127:3 “Children are a heritage from the Lord…” They carry: • an assignment • a calling • a purpose • a divine role in the family God may send a child to break a curse. To bring healing. To shift a family toward Him. To fulfill a generational calling. Even Jesus Himself entered the world not in wealth, but in humility, because His purpose was not earthly privilege — but salvation. Matthew 1:21 “You shall call His name JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins.” Children are born for destiny… just like Christ was born to deliver all of us. IN GOD’S KINGDOM, YOU START LOW BUT END HIGH ✔ Satan gives quickly but destroys slowly. ✔ God prunes early but blesses eternally. Proverbs 10:22 “The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” God’s blessings are: • permanent • pure • protected • eternal • overflowing Satan’s blessings are: • temporary • deceptive • unstable • trap-based That’s why your new life might feel tight — because God is resetting your foundation. GOD IS PREPARING YOU FOR SOMETHING GREATER Your current “losses” are not loss — they’re preparation. God is: • closing the enemy’s access • purifying your journey • rebuilding your identity • preparing you for Kingdom responsibility • developing your spiritual strength • aligning you for purpose You are not going backward — you are being rebuilt for destiny. The Wave of the Last Days !!! We are living in an unusual time — a time the Bible clearly describes as “the last days.” These days are not ordinary days but prophetic times filled with spiritual pressure, moral decay, global unrest, and increasing hunger for truth. The disciples asked Jesus: “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” — Matthew 24:3 Jesus responded by describing a wave — a powerful movement of events, attitudes, and spiritual conditions that would sweep across the earth. We are now experiencing that wave. This sermon reveals: What the wave of the last days looks like The dangers it carries The opportunities it presents How believers must prepare 1. THE WAVE OF DECEPTION IS RISING Jesus warned first about deception: “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name… and shall deceive many.” — Matthew 24:4–5 False teachings, fake prophets, altered gospel, and message of convenience rather than truth are everywhere. Paul warned: “…the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…” — 2 Timothy 4:3 In the last days: Truth will be resisted Error will be attractive Many will choose comfort over conviction. You must know the Word of God for yourself. A weak Christian will not survive a strong deception. 2. THE WAVE OF LAWLESSNESS AND COLD LOVE Jesus said: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” — Matthew 24:12 There is an increase in: * Violence * Corruption * Immorality * Betrayal * Selfishness Paul described people of the last days: “Lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud… unholy… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” — 2 Timothy 3:1–5 You can see it everywhere — in families, churches, leadership, and even among believers. The believer must not be shaped by the world’s wave but stand as light in the darkness. 3. THE WAVE OF SIGNS AND BIRTH PAINS “For nation shall rise against nation… famines, pestilences, earthquakes… All these are the beginning of sorrows.” — Matthew 24:7–8 We see it: * Natural disasters * Wars & rumors of wars * Disease & fear * Economic instability These are spiritual warning sirens that Jesus is returning soon. Every event is a call to repentance and readiness. The wise don’t panic; they prepare! 4. THE WAVE OF PERSECUTION & TRIALS FOR BELIEVERS. “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you…” — Matthew 24:9 True believers will face: * Mockery * Rejection * Persecution * Pressure to compromise Christianity is becoming more difficult — and more dangerous — in many places. Only those rooted in Christ will stand when the storm becomes stronger. 5. THE WAVE OF THE HOLY GHOST OUTPOURING While darkness increases, God also promised a great wave of the Spirit: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh…” — Joel 2:28 In the last days, God will: Raise bold believers Give visions and dreams Ignite revival Save souls massively Darkness and glory are increasing together. The true Church will shine the brightest. 6. THE FINAL WAVE: JESUS IS COMING SOON Jesus declared: “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me…” — Revelation 22:12 The last and greatest wave is His return. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 There will be: A rapture of the saints Judgment for the wicked Reward for the faithful A new heaven and earth THIS IS NOT A STORY — IT IS A COMING REALITY. HOW THEN SHALL WE LIVE IN THIS LAST-DAY WAVE? Spiritual Lukewarmness Revelation 3:15–16 — “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” 🔥 Spiritual lukewarmness is one of the greatest dangers facing believers today. It is the state of being complacent, half-hearted, and indifferent about the things of God. Many people are in church but not in Christ; they have zeal without fire, attendance without commitment, and confession without conviction. Jesus spoke firmly against this condition in the church of Laodicea, warning that He would reject those who are lukewarm. God wants us to be spiritually fervent and passionate for Him — not cold or indifferent. 💡 WHAT IS SPIRITUAL LUKEWARMNESS? Spiritual lukewarmness means serving God without genuine zeal, praying without passion, and following Christ without full surrender. It’s living in between two worlds — trying to please God and the flesh at the same time. 📖 Matthew 15:8 — “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” ⚠️ SIGNS OF SPIRITUAL LUKEWARMNESS * Loss of zeal for prayer and the Word of God When prayer becomes a burden instead of a delight. 📖 Luke 18:1 * Neglect of fellowship and service * Skipping church or being inconsistent in serving God. 📖 Hebrews 10:25 * Compromise with sin Justifying wrong actions or adopting worldly lifestyles. 📖 James 4:4 * Lack of spiritual hunger Being satisfied with “just enough” of God instead of pressing deeper. 📖 Psalm 42:1–2 * Religious appearance without inner fire * Outwardly looking holy, but inwardly dry and cold. 📖 2 Timothy 3:5 — “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” 🔥 DANGERS OF BEING LUKEWARM - Rejection by God Jesus said, “I will spue thee out of my mouth.” (Revelation 3:16) - Loss of spiritual authority and power You can’t command victory when your spiritual life is weak. - Vulnerability to temptation The devil easily attacks those who have lost their spiritual fire. 📖 1 Peter 5:8 - Gradual spiritual death Lukewarmness is the slow decay of spiritual life until nothing remains. 🌹 HOW TO OVERCOME SPIRITUAL LUKEWARMNESS - Repent and return to your first love Remember where you have fallen and turn back to God. 📖 Revelation 2:4–5 - Be filled with the Holy Spirit daily The Spirit keeps the fire of passion burning in your heart. 📖 Romans 12:11 — “Fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.” - Feed on God’s Word and Prayer The Word and prayer ignite your spiritual life. 📖 Joshua 1:8 - Fellowship with believers who are on fire for God Iron sharpens iron. Surround yourself with those who push you higher. 📖 Proverbs 27:17 - Engage in soul winning and service Doing God’s work strengthens your zeal and passion. 📖 John 9:4 🔔 Beloved, God detests lukewarmness. He desires a people who love Him wholeheartedly and serve Him passionately. Do not let comfort, distraction, or sin make you spiritually cold. The Danger of Half-Baked Christians Revelation 3:15–16 — “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” A half-baked Christian is one who begins well but fails to continue steadfastly in faith, holiness, and commitment to God. Such a person appears religious outwardly but lacks depth and maturity in their spiritual life. Just as half-cooked food is unfit for consumption, a half-baked Christian is unfit for the Master’s use. The church today is filled with many who profess Christ but do not live for Him completely. They love the blessings of salvation but reject the sacrifices it requires. God is not pleased with lukewarm believers — He desires total obedience, full surrender, and consistent spiritual growth. - WHO IS A HALF-BAKED CHRISTIAN? Hosea 7:8 — “Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.” Ephraim was called a half-baked cake because he mixed with the world and lost his distinctiveness. A half-baked Christian: * Wants to please God and the world at the same time. * Is inconsistent — praying today and sinning tomorrow. * Loves church activities but avoids personal holiness. * Talks about faith but lacks the fruit of the Spirit. * Is satisfied with surface-level Christianity without growth. - CHARACTERISTICS OF HALF-BAKED CHRISTIANS 2 Timothy 3:5 — “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…” * They confess Christ but deny Him by their actions. * They serve God for benefits and not out of love. * They avoid correction and dislike spiritual discipline. * They compare themselves with others instead of Christ. * They lack spiritual fire and are easily influenced by the world. - DANGERS OF BEING A HALF-BAKED CHRISTIAN Matthew 7:21-23 — “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven…” * Loss of fellowship with God: God rejects lukewarmness (Revelation 3:16). * Spiritual blindness: They cannot discern right from wrong (Revelation 3:17). * Vulnerability to sin and deception: They easily fall into false doctrines (Ephesians 4:14). * No eternal reward: Half-hearted believers will miss heaven (Luke 9:62). God’s disapproval: Just as food that is not properly cooked is thrown away, God will reject half-baked believers (Hebrews 10:38). - HOW TO AVOID BEING A HALF-BAKED CHRISTIAN Colossians 2:6–7 — “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him…” * Commit to spiritual growth — through the Word, prayer, and fellowship. * Live a separated life — avoid mixing with worldly practices (Romans 12:2). * Obey God completely — partial obedience is disobedience (1 Samuel 15:22–23). * Stay filled with the Holy Spirit — He gives strength to stand firm (Ephesians 5:18). * Be consistent in your walk with God, both in private and public life. - God is calling every half-hearted believer to repentance. He is merciful and ready to restore those who humble themselves before Him. James 4:8 — “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” If you have been lukewarm, today is the day to recommit your life to Christ. Let your heart burn again for Jesus. Let your life reflect total surrender. * Half-baked Christianity is dangerous because it deceives one into thinking they are safe while they are far from God. A true Christian is one who is fully yielded to Christ, burning with zeal, and living in obedience to His Word. Don’t be a lukewarm believer — be on fire for God.
