NOT EVERYTHING SPIRITUAL IS FROM GOD In today’s world, many people assume that anything that appears “spiritual” must automatically come from God. But the Bible clearly warns us otherwise. Spiritual activity does not equal divine approval. There are multiple spiritual sources, and not all originate from God. As believers, one of the most critical skills we must develop is discernment—the ability to distinguish between what is truly from God and what is not. 1 John 4:1 – “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God…” 2 Corinthians 11:14 – “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” Matthew 24:24 – “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets…” 1. THERE ARE DIFFERENT SOURCES OF SPIRITUAL POWER Not everything supernatural is divine. The Bible reveals three primary spiritual sources: a. God (The Holy Spirit) John 14:26 – The Holy Spirit teaches truth Brings peace, clarity, holiness, and alignment with God’s Word b. Satan and Demonic Forces Ephesians 6:12 – We wrestle against spiritual wickedness Can perform signs and wonders to deceive. c. Human Spirit / Flesh Jeremiah 17:9 – The heart can be deceitful Some “spiritual experiences” come from emotions, imagination, or pride Just because something feels powerful, emotional, or mysterious does not mean it is from God. 2. SATAN CAN IMITATE GOD 2 Corinthians 11:14 – Satan appears as an angel of light Exodus 7:10–12 – Pharaoh’s magicians replicated miracles The enemy does not always come in a scary form—he often comes looking holy, wise, and convincing. Examples of imitation: - False prophecies - Fake miracles - Misleading visions and dreams Warning: If Satan came as darkness, nobody would follow him. He comes disguised as light. 3. SIGNS AND WONDERS ARE NOT ALWAYS PROOF OF GOD Matthew 7:22–23 – “Did we not prophesy in your name…?” Matthew 24:24 – False prophets will show great signs Miracles alone are not enough to validate a ministry or message. God is not just in power—He is in truth and holiness. 4. TEST EVERY SPIRIT 1 John 4:1 – “Try the spirits whether they are of God” You are not called to accept everything—you are called to test everything. How to test what is spiritual: a. Does it align with the Word of God? Isaiah 8:20 – If it does not speak according to the Word, there is no light in it b. Does it glorify Jesus Christ? John 16:14 – The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ c. What fruit does it produce? Galatians 5:22–23 – Love, peace, holiness d. Does it bring confusion or peace? 1 Corinthians 14:33 – God is not the author of confusion 5. DANGERS OF FOLLOWING FALSE SPIRITUAL THINGS a. Spiritual deception You can think you are right while heading in the wrong direction b. Bondage What looks spiritual can enslave your life c. Separation from God False spirituality distances you from truth 2 Thessalonians 2:10–11 – Strong delusion comes to those who reject truth 6. WHY MANY PEOPLE ARE DECEIVED a. Lack of knowledge Hosea 4:6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge b. Desire for power instead of God Some seek miracles more than the God of miracles c. Ignoring the Holy Spirit’s warning The Spirit often warns quietly, but many ignore Him 7. HOW TO STAY SAFE a. Stay rooted in the Word The Word is your standard b. Develop spiritual discernment Hebrews 5:14 – Mature believers discern good and evil c. Maintain a close relationship with God The closer you are to God, the easier it is to detect error d. Be humble and teachable Pride blinds, humility protects CONCLUSION Beloved, not everything spiritual is from God. In these last days, deception will increase, and only those who are grounded in truth will stand. Do not be moved by appearance, power, or popularity—be moved by truth. So the dream on 5 January 2026. A busy night in the Philippines was in the dream—traffic everywhere. I found myself on one street, and in front of this church there was a woman. Somehow, very clearly, I remembered her from the news I listened to a few days ago. Something tragic had happened to her mother. I said, “Hey, I know you… what happened to your mother.” She explained it (exactly how I heard it from the news). I then explained about the Glory Oil in my hands for healing from God and prayers. She looked reluctant, but I said if she needed prayer, I could just message her prayers. Instead, she gave me her email. Once I got it, I had to find a way to head back, and somehow I saw a taxi—no wheels, like it spiritually floated. A golden taxi, but the driver was some vampire-looking being. He didn’t look evil, even if I was cautious. I told him where I wanted to go, and he took me there. Then I found myself back where I live. I went to where I buy pet food for my pets. Half of it was closed. I saw newly delivered dog food—the cans and sacks. I walked closer, thinking it was around 440 for wet dog food. Then I walked to the other part and saw the lady packing a kilo of dog food. I thought possibly again, 26. I kept trying to find the idea or some type of spiritual reminder from the Lord, and another number came to mind. I ended up with 442. After that, I walked away and saw the heavy traffic on the road. I thought, Well, it’s traffic… I need to go to Quiapo Church all the way to Manila. I wasn’t sure why I wanted to attend Mass, but I got that feeling. That’s where the dream cuts off. (Abba said, authoring this message ⬇️) 442 — I speak for all who hear: that is my servants. They are to give my words to you. With open ears, heed my word, for this is a year of repentance—a year to come back to the Shepherd of the flock. Seek Him and you will find Him. The number completes, my beloved. I plan to bring you into the new—to be seated at my table in service to Me, that you may no longer walk in sin and fleshly worldly passions that the devil, god of this world, has set upon you like chains—my people in the mud where they have no escape. Yet I will rescue the one who calls on Me continuously. I seek those whose hearts are in pain and in need of change. I do not call those who exalt themselves higher than Me, higher than what I have made of them. It is unholy, sinful, as the vipers I called out long ago. I do not call those who say they know Me but do not change nor follow Me by taking up their cross and imitating the Lord as an example to be holy in living. I do not see meekness and humbled hearts of My children, for they are cluttered with greed, anger, jealousy, resentment. They are young, and already deceived by the enemy—foolish. They learned to be drunkards, false identities of self—an idol—making wrong right to themselves, ignorant, disobeying what I have set in their hearts from birth. They are no longer burning with passion for only Me, the I AM—the One Mediator, One God, Beginning and the End. Why do you resist Me? Bringing you to repentance is not painful. I do not punish those who come back to Me. I wash them clean and begin to teach those who are open for teaching, for My ways are higher than yours, child. You do not know how to fill your heart with good treasures that are heavenly. Instead, you fill it with sin and place it on a pedestal. It is a stronghold of the flesh and heart. It clouds your mind to do more wickedness for the devil, for he has you in his hands—playing you, turning you into a tool to cause more sin in other people’s lives, including your own. Good acts and deeds do not save you if you do not walk My ways to learn. Without repentance, there is no change in salvation. Through Me is the way—your Lord Jesus Christ. Three hundred years I have watched and helped My people. You know your history. I saw faith, yet it faded, for their hearts turned to stone in sin. Not even one word of Mine stayed in that soil, for it was cluttered with unfruitful things you take in with your eyes and ears. It remains barren land with thorns and more thorns. Child, can’t you see? This church of this world and its rituals cannot save you—only I can, My love. Do not drink anymore of this deadly cup of wine this world has to offer, for it is the blood of your people indulging in sin, in the hands of the deceitful one I cast down from the heavens. I have no use for those who drink from it, for you make yourself an enemy to My light. Kingdoms will rise against one another—darkness and light. What will you choose, beloved? This world does not love you or long for you like I have always. It does not match what love is in heaven, for love on earth has become wicked and distorted where I cannot see it. Love Me. Your temple is for the Almighty God’s use and His Holy Spirit to dwell within. As you abide in Him, He also abides in you. Running away will not get you far from God—you are just wasting time. Abba can see you anywhere and everywhere. He can see if the junk idols are still filling your heart or not, because if not, then you are supposed to be teachable. So remove the old man of flesh you dwell in and come before the throne of God, for He is merciful. The Corrupted Christian 2 Timothy 3:1–5 We live in a generation where many claim to be Christians but their lives deny the very power of godliness. The church is full of activity but lacking in true spirituality. Many who once walked in the light have allowed sin, greed, and hypocrisy to corrupt their hearts. The Rise of False Prophets and Deception 📖 Matthew 24:11 “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” We must test every spirit and doctrine with the Word of God. Not every miracle worker is of God. Many are deceiving people with half-truths and worldly promises. 📖 1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God…” We must stay rooted in the truth of Scripture and be led by the Holy Spirit. 3. The Love of Many Shall Wax Cold 📖 Matthew 24:12 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Today, love for God and for others is diminishing. People are becoming more self-centered, and the fear of God is fading. Many have abandoned holiness for convenience. The end-time warning is clear: don’t let the fire of your love for God go out. 📖 Revelation 2:4-5 “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.” 4. The Call to Watchfulness 📖 Matthew 24:42 “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” We must be spiritually awake. The enemy wants believers to sleep spiritually while sin increases. Jesus is coming for those who are ready, not those who are careless. 📖 Mark 13:33 “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” 5. The Urgency of Repentance and Readiness The message of the end time is not to scare us, but to prepare us. There is still time to repent, surrender to Christ, and live holy lives. 📖 2 Peter 3:9-10 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise… but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Christ will return suddenly. Those who are not ready will face eternal regret. 📖 Matthew 25:13 “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” 6. The Reward of the Faithful 📖 Revelation 22:12 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” For those who remain steadfast, a glorious crown awaits. Endure temptation, persecution, and trials — your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 📖 2 Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith... Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.” The end time is no longer a prophecy — it is unfolding before our very eyes. Let this be a personal call to holiness, faithfulness, and soul-winning. Don’t be distracted by the world; focus on eternity. Jesus is coming soon — are you ready? The Danger of Backslidden Jeremiah 3:12-14 (KJV) “Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger forever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God…” To be backslidden means to turn away from God after once walking with Him. It is to fall from spiritual zeal into spiritual coldness, from righteousness into compromise. Backsliding is not always sudden — it often begins subtly, with small acts of disobedience, neglect of prayer, loss of hunger for the Word, and indifference toward the things of God. The danger is that backsliding can lead to spiritual death if not quickly addressed. Many started well in the faith, but because they did not continue steadfastly, they fell away. ⚠️ 1. Backsliding Begins in the Heart 📖 Proverbs 14:14 (KJV) — “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.” Before anyone backslides outwardly, the heart first turns away from God. It begins with secret sins, bitterness, pride, or loss of love for righteousness. 👉 Guard your heart, for that is where backsliding begins. ⚠️ 2. Backsliding Brings Spiritual Blindness 📖 Revelation 2:4-5 — “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen…” When you backslide, you lose the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit. The things that once troubled your conscience no longer bother you. You stop hearing God clearly, and your spiritual eyes become dim. ⚠️ 3. Backsliding Breaks Fellowship with God 📖 Isaiah 59:2 — “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you.” When sin enters, communion is broken. The peace and joy of the Holy Spirit are lost. God cannot dwell where sin reigns. This separation is the greatest danger of all — living without the presence of God. ⚠️ 4. Backsliding Leads to Destruction if Unrepented 📖 2 Peter 2:20-21 — “For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein… the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.” A backslider who refuses to repent ends up worse than before knowing God. The enemy takes advantage and destroys their testimony, peace, and sometimes even their life. ⚠️ 5. God Still Calls the Backslider to Return 📖 Hosea 14:1-2 — “O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and turn to the LORD…” Even in backsliding, God’s mercy still speaks. He calls the fallen to repentance and restoration. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should return to Him in truth and humility. 🙏 How to Return from Backsliding Acknowledge your sin – Psalm 51:3 Repent sincerely – Acts 3:19 Return to fellowship with God – James 4:8 Renew your mind with the Word – Romans 12:2 Stay in fellowship with other believers – Hebrews 10:25 Be filled again with the Holy Spirit – Ephesians 5:18 🕊️ Beloved, backsliding is not just a fall — it is a drift away from God’s presence, and it endangers your soul. But the good news is that God is always ready to restore. Don’t stay far from Him. Return, and He will heal your backsliding and love you freely (Hosea 14:4). 🙌 Pray This Prayer Lord, forgive me for every way I have backslidden in my heart. Holy Spirit, rekindle my first love for God. Deliver me from spiritual lukewarmness and compromise. Restore to me the joy of my salvation, O Lord. Help me to stand firm till the end in Jesus’ name. Beware of the Serpent ! Genesis 3:1–5, 2 Corinthians 11:3, Revelation 12:9 From the beginning of creation, the serpent has symbolized deception, cunning, and rebellion against God. The serpent appeared first in the Garden of Eden as an agent of Satan, deceiving Eve to disobey God. The serpent still operates today — not as a physical snake, but through lies, temptation, false doctrines, and manipulative spirits that seek to destroy the faith of believers. The Word of God warns us clearly — “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8) 1. THE NATURE OF THE SERPENT 📖 Genesis 3:1 — “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.” The serpent represents deception, subtlety, and manipulation. He doesn’t always come openly; he comes disguised as truth, love, or opportunity. The serpent’s greatest weapon is deception, not power. He aims to twist the Word of God and make sin look harmless or even attractive. Be careful of: * Words that sound right but contradict God’s Word. * People or spirits that encourage compromise. * Thoughts that make sin look reasonable. 2. THE STRATEGY OF THE SERPENT 📖 2 Corinthians 11:3 — “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” The serpent’s strategy is mental corruption. He targets your mind — planting doubt, confusion, fear, and rebellion. He knows that if he can win your mind, he can control your actions. 🧠 His methods include: - Questioning God’s Word (“Did God really say?”) - Offering quick pleasures that lead to destruction - Using half-truths to promote false beliefs - Introducing spiritual pride or rebellion 3. THE SYMBOL OF THE SERPENT TODAY 📖 Revelation 12:9 — “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world...” Today’s serpent operates through: * False prophets (Matthew 7:15) * Worldly desires and lust (1 John 2:16) * Unforgiveness and hatred (Ephesians 4:26–27) * Compromise and spiritual lukewarmness (Revelation 3:16) ⚠️ Satan’s deception makes many Christians think they can serve God and still live in sin. The serpent makes the forbidden look fruitful — but the fruit of disobedience always brings death (Romans 6:23). 4. HOW TO OVERCOME THE SERPENT 📖 Luke 10:19 — “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy...” God has not left us defenseless. You have spiritual authority over the serpent! You must, however, stay under the covering of God’s Word and Spirit. 🛡️ To overcome the serpent: * Stay rooted in the Word of God (Psalm 119:11) * Be prayerful and watchful (Matthew 26:41) * Submit to God and resist the devil (James 4:7) * Walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh (Galatians 5:16) * Use the name of Jesus with faith and authority (Mark 16:17–18) The serpent is still active, seeking to deceive and destroy. But those who stand firm in Christ cannot be defeated. Be vigilant, keep your heart pure, and walk daily in the light of God’s Word. When the serpent strikes, strike back with the sword of the Spirit — the Word of God. 📖 Romans 16:20 — “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.” PRAY THIS PRAYER - Lord, open my eyes to recognize every serpent around me. - Every deceitful voice speaking against my destiny, be silenced in Jesus’ name. - Father, give me wisdom to discern truth from lies. - Every serpent of temptation in my path, I crush you by the power in the blood of Jesus. - Lord, keep me steadfast in Your Word and Spirit.
