• I HAD TO FORGIVE MYSELF

    For the mistakes...
    For the bad decisions...
    For the years I wasted...
    For the pain I caused...
For the person I used to be...

    Because God already forgave me.

I couldn't move forward while living in the prison of my past.

    Shame kept me stuck.
    Guilt kept me looking backward.
But God's grace kept calling me forward.

The day I stopped beating myself up...
The day I accepted God's forgiveness...

    My chains started breaking.

You are not who you were.
You are who God says you are.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Stop punishing yourself for a chapter God has already redeemed.

    Today, choose grace.
    Today, choose healing.
    Today, choose freedom.

    John 15:15 TLB
I no longer call you slaves, for a master doesn't confide in his slaves; now you are my friends, proved by the fact that I have told you everything the Father told me.

    The devil calls you...
    Worthless,
    A liar,
    No good,
    Incapable of being loved,

    but Jesus calls you...

    Friend.
    Loved one,
    Cherished,
    Blessed
    Forgiven

Who are you going to allow to dictate your life this day?
    Jesus
    Or
    Satan?

    Our Bodies Are Temples

    1 Cor. 6:19-20

Friend, were you aware that the body your in is not your own? As crazy as it may sound, our Bodies were bought and paid for through the death of Jesus Christ. Therefore we do not hold the deed to these bodies, but God does. We are mearly stewards of these bodies we live in. What we do with them now, the Bible says that we will have to give account for on judgement day.

Before I became a Christian, I was a drunk. I spent the majority of my life in bars chasing down shot after shot of whiskey. I got myself into all sorts of trouble with the law in the little town I grew up in. My friends were just as crazy as I was and together we raised hell on the weekends. I say all that to make a point. At the time I was unaware that I was destroying God's temple. I was quickly going down a slippery slope that in the end would of led me straight to the gates of hell. If God had not intervened on that cool October morning, I would be suffering in torment right now without a way out. But God did come in and rescue me, Jesus did reach down into that pit and pulled me out, cleaned me up and set my feet on solid ground. He change this drunk into the man of God that I am now. As I said in the beginning, I spent the majority of my life destroying God's temple, but thankfully Jesus came into my life at just the right moment and Saved me from completely destroying it. I am unworthy of His love and forgiveness, much less His mercy and grace, but through it all I been saved. I can now say with the apostle Paul that "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
    Galatians 2:20

Friend, my desire is that you too come to know Jesus Christ. I do not wish that He drag you through the mud as He did me, but that you will come by your own free will.

When we stand before our Creator on judgment day, and we will All stand before Him. He is going to ask us what we did with the life given to us, did we use our time wisely, or live our lives foolishly?

The decision is yours to make friend, choose wisely.

    Strength in times of Struggle

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness."
    — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Struggles are like crucibles that test our faith, the hotter the fire, the purer the metal. They challenge our patience, and push us beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones. Yet, in the midst of the flames, God is right there waiting to meet us with His grace. The apostle Paul knew this all too well. He pleaded for his "thorn" to be taken away, but God's response wasn't deliverance—it was instead assurance: "My grace is sufficient."

Friend, sometimes God calms the storm in our lives, other times, He calms the child within us. Struggles are not signs of God’s absence, they are often invitations to discover His strength in new ways. When we are weak, His power shines the brightest.

What struggles are you facing right now that you need to surrender to God?

How have you experienced God’s strength in your weakness in the past?

Are you trusting God’s timing and purpose in your current hardship?

    Prayer:
Lord, I come to You weary and burdened. I don’t always understand why I face certain struggles, but I choose to trust that Your grace is enough. Teach me to rely on Your strength, not my own. Help me see my trials as opportunities to draw closer to You. Amen.

    Encourage one another!

    1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing

Wouldn't life be much better if we just followed the commands in the Bible? Like encouraging someone, anyone, without considering the color of their skin, or the way the dress and talk. If we would just walk up to everyone we came in contact with today and greeted them with a friendly smile and a warm hello!

Lets give it a try today friends! God would be very pleased with us when we do.

    Christ in Us!

    Colossians 1:27 KJV
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

The Lord Jesus gave us the authority to go fourth and share the good news with everyone we meet. Not to pick and choose who to tell, but to tell everyone! Everybody deserves to know about Christ and what His sacrifice meant for us all. Whether or not they decide to follow Christ, that's up to them, if we have told them about the gospel, we've done our part and now its up to that person to choose to believe or not to believe.

But if we are going to sit around and wait for the perfect time, friends, that time is now! There is no better time than the present to share Gods love with someone. Look at the world around you, its falling apart with each new day getting worse than the day before.

So get out there and share your testimony with someone, somebody out there needs to hear how you came to know and follow Christ. Your testimony might be just what they need to hear.

  • GOD IS NOT HARD TO FIND

    Jeremiah 29:13 KJV
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

    Am I forgiven?

    Psalm 32:1-2,11 KJV
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Friend, only God can forgive sins through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ, Satan will do everything in his power to tell you otherwise, but do not believe him, for John 8:4 states that he is a liar and the father of lies. There is no truth in anything the devil tells you. Charles Stanley writes "By God’s grace we no longer are guilty before God. Christ’s death secured our verdict, releasing us from the sentence of death. He declares us righteous and credits His righteousness to our account." Please understand that Jesus bore your sins once and for all, Romans 8 says that there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. So hold your head up high friends, your sins are forgiven!

    Colossians 3:23-24 KJV
and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Everything that we do no matter how big or little it may seem to us, should be done as if we were doing it unto the Lord, because in reality, we are. He gifted us His Son Jesus, and because of our relationship with Him, we owe it to God to give Him praise, glory and honor for all He does and continues to do in our lives.

So whether your on the high end of the scale, or just some casual person trying to get by, give God the utmost respect by ensuring that the work He's given you to do, is done to the best of your ability.
